Let Go Let God Go Deeper

When I pray, my soul goes deeper into God.

Singer/songwriter Daniel Nahmod inspires us with this lyric: When I pray, I feel my soul go deeper into my God. Prayer is our experience of communion with the Infinite Divine. Called by many names, God is the great Oneness. God is All That Is. Prayer shifts our attention from the ever-changing world to the abiding and enduring divine peace and love within. Right where we are, we can pause and feel our breath, close our eyes, and gently calm our thoughts. No longer are we caught up in the clang and clatter of the outside world. In the silence of prayer, we enter into a sacred space where all things are possible. We go deeper into our God. With thanksgiving in our hearts, we are renewed and at peace.

He would withdraw to deserted places and pray.—Luke 5:16

Let Go Let God with Vision

I seize the bold vision to manifest the life of my dreams.

To visualize the life I desire, I may create a vision board to capture my intentions in words and pictures. Or I might write in a journal about my aspirations, outlining in detail all that is possible. Doubts may creep in, causing me to question the validity of my ambitions. If so, I look beyond any perceived limitations. If I am concerned about my age, resources or timing, I courageously affirm: My dreams are God-inspired. I seize the bold vision to manifest the life of my dreams. I am bolstered by this affirmation as I align with the vibration of a higher vision. I open to unseen possibilities and joyously witness the unfoldment of my dreams.

Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, … For there is still a vision for the appointed time.—Habakkuk 2:2, 3

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

Divine Life rejuvenates my being—mind, body and spirit.

Physical wounds heal from the inside out. As cells and tissues regenerate, physical renewal occurs. If my spirit is wounded, I am also healed from within. I willingly receive the love and grace of God, which empowers my healing. As I open to love and acceptance, my renewal begins. Like physical healing, spiritual healing may occur in stages. I am gentle with myself and trust in God and the power of Divine Life. My healing “prescription” may include forgiving myself and others. It may call for understanding and tolerance. All that I need I receive. Divine Life rejuvenates my being and leads me to wholeness in mind, body and spirit.

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want … he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.—Psalm 23:1-3

Let Go Let God in Words

My words contain energy and power.

I needn’t have a large vocabulary to express myself clearly and meaningfully. Every sentence I speak demonstrates the power of the spoken word. Praise and encouragement expand God’s good. What I say can uplift someone’s spirit or help them through a time of hardship. I can provide reassurance, guidance, kindness or appreciation. Knowing what I say may be remembered by another, I choose words that are clear and considerate, positive and affirming. I also use positive words in my self-talk, acknowledging that I am a valuable and vital child of God. I enter a consciousness of praise and affirmation, knowing my words contain energy and power.

Anxiety weighs down the human heart, but a good word cheers it up.—Proverbs 12:25

Let Go Let God in Comfort

The dawn of a new day comforts me.

I may sometimes lie awake at night feeling anxious about tomorrow. When this happens, I make a conscious choice to shift my thoughts from worries to the indwelling spirit of God. My thoughts unite with the Source of all good. God is here, and all is well. As I shift my thinking, I am assured that my needs are already met. Good bubbles up from God within me, and I am open to receive. Comforted in this realization, I gently return to sleep. The light of dawn signifies a new day. I awaken refreshed in body and spirit. I am connected, at one with God and attentive to divine ideas and guidance. With gratitude I affirm: All is well.

Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, … and find rest for your souls.—Jeremiah 6:16

Let Go Let God in Faith

My faith in God is unshakable.

When I pray for prosperity, healing, guidance or peace of mind, I know that God is not outside me, deciding to either give or withhold my wishes. God is within me as pure divine abundance, wholeness, wisdom and serenity. It is my faith in God that answers my prayers.I may not be able to see what my faith will manifest, or whether my activities will generate the outcomes I desire. But my steadfast faith, attuned to God in prayer, reminds me that God’s spirit is moving in and through me and is active in all situations.
As I become more aware of the activity of God in my life, I look beyond any uncertainty or doubt to the assurance that, regardless of the outcome, Spirit will be with me.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.–Hebrews 11:1

Let Go Let God in the Flow

God’s life-giving energy flows through me now.

The natural, peace-filled flow of life can be seen in the ocean tide as waves wash in and out from the shore. I feel the flow of life as air moves through me with the rise and fall of my chest as I breathe. I observe the natural flow of thoughts and ideas as they pass through my mind. All of this flow is divine energy. God’s life-giving energy flows to and through all creation—through every system, every process, every being on earth. The flow of the Divine enables us as humans to overcome hardship, heal from disease, and come together in times of need. I give thanks for the divine flow of life-giving energy that moves in and through my life and the world.

Out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water.–John 7:38

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I enfold my dear ones in Love as I pray.

In prayer, I acknowledge my oneness with God and I feel God’s love within me. Divine Love shines forth from me to encompass all people. We are one in God, and our prayers bless one another in untold ways. Myrtle Fillmore once shared this prayer: “I will proclaim for you the Light and the Life and the Substance … ever active, all-sufficient, ready to meet your needs and to keep you in the divine order and harmony which the Creator intends.” I hold my dear ones in mind and heart as I bless them with this proclamation of Truth. I see the love of God establishing order and harmony in their lives. I see their needs met. I give thanks for the opportunity to enfold my dear ones in God’s love today and every day.

Let all that you do be done in love.—1 Corinthians 16:14

Let Go Let God in Transition

All that has been is the ground of the good arising.

Our lives are as full of change as the seasons. The memories in my heart hold joy and sorrow; success and disappointment. Yet all that has been has fallen away. My past is the fertile ground from which new good arises. Life has taught me to love, to forgive and to place my faith in God. My past does not limit my good but becomes the soil from which new experiences grow. I may not have chosen every experience that teaches me, but I choose to learn from all of them. I cannot change my past, but I can accept it with new understanding. I am grateful for all that has come and gone, and I give thanks for new love, new health and new prosperity unfolding.

When the grass is gone, and new growth appears, … there will be enough.—Proverbs 27:25, 27

Let Go Let God in World Peace

As we recognize our oneness, peace emerges.

I may sometimes find it easier to focus on the perceived differences between others and myself, or what I’d like others to do differently. Yet when I shift my focus, a deeper perspective emerges. The presence of God within me is my divine nature. It is the love and life of God that sustains me. But I cannot be content to see the Divine in myself alone. I behold the divine strength and eternal goodness in all people. My awareness of God in others dissolves any sense of division or petty differences. God’s love fills me with love for all. I feel the joy of our oneness. In God, we are connected—heart to heart, spirit to spirit. Nothing will stand in the way of peace amongst us when we recognize we are one.

Be of the same mind, having the same love, being in full accord and of one mind.—Philippians 2:2

Let Go Let God Provide Prosperity

My positive thoughts reveal a prosperous world.

I use the power of positive thought to reveal true prosperity in the worlds of form and spirit. As I affirm abundance, I become more aware of the goodness of God in my life.
My prosperous thoughts may prompt the prayer “Thank You, God” as I go about my busy day—or they may fill my mind in meditation as I focus on God’s good. My prosperous thoughts may manifest into a treasure map illustrating my goals or in affirmations that reinforce my unlimited potential as a child of God. I create more prosperity for myself, my loved ones and the world through the power of affirmative prayer.

Whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.–Philippians 4:8

Let Go Let God Know Potential

I am one with the Christ, able to accomplish any goal.

Within us all lies unlimited potential and infinite capacity. Indeed, we are one with the Infinite! If I’m ever in doubt of my potential, I focus on the Christ within, which is God’s plan of perfection. The indwelling Christ is my foundation and my strength. I affirm: I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. In this assurance, I embrace the unlimited possibilities before me. Through the power of the Christ within, I realize my highest good.
Inherent potential is a priceless gift, and it is available to all. I behold the divine potential in all people and encourage those I know and love to listen to their heart’s desire. The indwelling Christ is the source of our spiritual gifts. Through Christ, we can do all things.

I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.—Philippians 4:13

Let Go Let God Provide Protection

The power of God protects me.

Though certain circumstances may cause me to feel unsettled or afraid, I think of these experiences as tilling the soil of my life. Old habits and behaviors that no longer serve me are being uprooted. And while the surface may be disturbed, underneath I am standing on solid ground, open and receptive to the seeds of new ideas.
In times of upheaval, I respond with love rather than react with fear. I trust the spirit of God within to protect me from false thoughts or beliefs. I trust in the protection of God’s unconditional and everlasting love.
Centered in God, I trust in divine guidance to lead me to new life. God’s infinite spirit enfolds, loves and protects me.

But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy. Spread your protection over them.—Psalm 5:11

Let Go Let God Provide Renewal

I am made new by the ever-renewing life of God.

I open my heart to behold the world around me with awe and wonder. The breath of God gives life to all creation—the purring cat, the leaping tiger and ME! The atoms of the Universe vibrate with the energy of One Life, One Love. Whether I consider the tiniest particles of an atom or the majesty of a mountain range, I am humbled by God’s handiwork. The renewing life of Spirit is present in every pattern and every corner of creation.
The life of God renews my life. It is the divine energy that heals all wounds, forgives all errors, and leads me to more deeply understand God’s love. Every day is made new—not by what happens around me, but by what happens within me.

The Lord, your God, is in your midst, … he will renew you in his love.—Zephaniah 3:17

Let Go Let God in Grace

With a grateful heart, I accept the goodness of God.

Some challenges in life seem insurmountable. I may be tempted to either give in or give up on them. However, when I look to God as the source of my ever-present good, I open myself and the circumstances of my life to divine grace. I can overcome anything when I remember that with God I never have to face my challenges alone. As this realization permeates my being, I leave behind the shadow of doubt and enter into the sureness of God’s grace. Any challenge looming over me shrinks to a manageable size. I no longer fear the future; I am enthusiastic about God’s good, which is always present. I know good will continue to manifest, and I am willing to accept whenever and however it appears.

The angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.”—Luke 1:30

Let Go Let God in Commitment

My commitment to prayer is an act of faith.

No matter how full my schedule may seem, keeping my daily commitment to prayer changes the whole texture and energy of my day. My dedication to a life of prayer goes beyond seeking answers to life’s challenges. Prayer keenly attunes me to my inner guidance and creates a sense of calm in my life. If something goes awry during the day, I more easily regroup because of the time I spent centered in prayer.
I gently sweep aside any excuses that may sabotage my prayer commitment. I claim that I have enough time, energy, wisdom and resources to accomplish my objectives for the day and relinquish any anxiety about what may be left undone.

[Daniel] continued … to get down on his knees three times a day to pray to his God and praise him, just as he had done previously.—Daniel 6:10

Let Go Let God in Harmony

I cultivate harmony in myself and in my relationships.

When I listen to a choir, I am inspired by the harmony of voices united in song. Similarly, when I’m in an attractive room, I notice how complementary colors and textures combine to create the desired ambiance. In nature, I behold a vibrant landscape comprising a harmonious blend of flowers, trees and grasses. As I reflect on these examples, I realize I am an integral part of the harmony in the world around me. I contribute positive, peaceful, uplifting energy by cultivating harmony within myself and my relationships.
Every time I am open, honest and forgiving in my relationships, every time I center myself in prayer and meditation, I cultivate harmony and unity of spirit in the world.

Have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind.—1 Peter 3:8

Let Go Let God on this World Day of Prayer

As we listen to the Universe, we are lifted to new heights of awareness and understanding.

The human intellect is busy. Our minds skip from one thought to another, preoccupied with our daily routines, the influx of information or whatever is happening in our lives. To come into the fullness of divine understanding, however, we must set aside our busy thoughts and let our racing minds rest awhile. When we are still, we hear the voice of the Universe, the voice of God. Centering ourselves in prayer, we become attuned to the spirit of God within. As we listen expectantly and patiently to the inner voice of the Divine, our hearts and minds are lifted to new heights of spiritual understanding and awareness. In the Silence of prayer, God speaks to us of Truth.

Listen to me; be silent, and I will teach you wisdom.—Job 33:33

Let Go Let God in Forgiveness

I forgive and am healed—heart, mind and soul.

Forgiveness is a powerful practice, and it can change my life for good. When the pain of past injustices arises in my mind, I invite forgiveness into my heart. Even if I don’t know how to forgive, I am willing. Through the spirit of God within me, I have the power to leave the past behind and accept the full joy of the present. I allow divine love to heal me—heart, mind and soul. The peace I receive assures me it is done.
Past pain is dispelled as I welcome new joy into my life. Peace and love prevail as I create new memories. With an open heart, I am changed for the better. My mind is free of judgment and negativity. The love of God works in and through me. I know that as I forgive, I am also forgiven.

Forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone indebted to us.—Luke 11:4

Let Go Let God with Inner Peace

I turn within to the presence of God and find true peace.

If I feel anxious about world events, I can make an important choice: I can focus on evidence of discord or I can focus on peace. As I turn within to the Presence of peace in me, I remember that the peace of God is also within my loved ones and everyone affected by world events. I see each of us opening our hearts to God’s peace. As I connect deeply with God in prayer, I also connect with the presence of God in others. My thoughts are focused on peace, helping me be a constructive force for good.
Prayer clears my mind and heart of any fear, allowing me to see where I can make a positive difference. My trust in God expands, and I hold the high watch for all of humanity.

The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.—Numbers 6:26

Let Go Let God Be Free

I am free to decide how I respond to life.

When an obstacle blocks a stream, the water finds a way to flow over, under or around it. Sometimes the stream gathers strength and moves with force and speed through narrow passages. Other times it collects and rests in shallow places. I am free to choose the course of my life’s stream and to determine the flow of my life.
When I rest in the Silence, it may not look as if any forward movement is occurring. Nevertheless, I am tapping into a wellspring of spiritual resources and gathering strength to maneuver around any obstacles that may arise. I have what I need to move through the tight spaces in my life. I can access peaceful pools of stillness or move at a brisk pace. I choose the flow that best suits me.

Set me free and rescue me from the mighty waters.—Psalm 144:7

Let Go Let God Share with Others

I share my gifts and nurture my relationships.

Today I bring joy to others by sharing my time, talent and treasure. A phone call can brighten a loved one’s day. A personal visit to share a meal or enjoy conversation can make an enormous difference. When I connect with people of other ages, memories arise and my view of the world broadens. As we share our joys, challenges and interests, we know each other at a deeper level. Spending time with people I care about uplifts both them and me. My life is blessed with many relationships. In nurturing them, I express my Christ nature. I am a loving being, here to be a loving presence. By giving of myself, I feel the warmth and glow of divine love in me, the joy of connecting heart to heart.

They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.—1 Timothy 6:18

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I am guided from within.

Whether I face major or minor decisions, the guidance I need is readily available. I may read what experts advise, listen to the opinions of friends and family, or gather data to inform my choices. But most important, I turn within for prayer. I go apart for a time in the Silence, mindfully releasing any tension in my body and bringing spaciousness to any worrisome thoughts. I surrender the situation at hand, and with gratitude, I invite divine guidance to be revealed. I listen to the whisper of my heart, which is always life-affirming, loving and good. As I turn within to the source of divine guidance, my way becomes clear.

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me with honor.—Psalm 73:24

Let Go Let God in Divine Order

I live in harmony with God, and my life is in order.

If I have been experiencing disorder in my life, I make finding quiet time with God my top priority. I align my thoughts with the presence of God. I put aside any concerns and allow myself to feel with every fiber of my being that I am one with God—that I am loved and that my life is precious and valuable. I rest in this realization until it is established in my heart and mind. As I acknowledge my oneness with God, I recognize that my life is in order. How could it be any other way? Whether I perceive it or not, divine order is moving through all life, in and through me and every circumstance I encounter. Aligning myself with divine order establishes harmony and peace. How good it is to live in harmony with God!

His divine power has given us everything needed for life and godliness.—2 Peter 1:3

Let Go Let God in Joy

The joy of Christ fills my heart.

When my joy emanates from the Christ within, it is steadfast, consistent and imbued with power. The Christ, the Spirit of joy enthroned in my heart, brings eternal joy and happiness. Joy radiates from the center of my being to the outer reaches of my world. External conditions cannot dampen this joy, for it has its foundation and substance in God. Pure joy shines with rays of gladness.
I keep my joy active by expressing it, by daily drawing more of its essence from God, the source of all joy. I let my joy shine into the world to bless others. The joy of the Christ is mine now and always.

Thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing him.—2 Corinthians 2:14

Let Go Let God Be Connected

I am connected to God and all people.

All people share a connection. We breathe the same air; feel the warmth of the same sun; share life on the same planet. Our paths are connected in ways both seen and unseen. The food on my table may have come from a farm nearby, from across the country or from across the world. Similarly, new technology allows me to connect with loved ones or strangers faraway. As humans we also share in feelings of happiness and sadness, peace and frustration. We are one in God, connected in Spirit. Knowing we are one, I demonstrate empathy toward others. I am understanding, compassionate and willing to listen. Whatever I do, wherever I am, I am connected to God and all people.

Remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age.—Matthew 28:20

Let Go Let God Turn Around

I have the power to turn my life around!

If my life is not as I wish it to be, I remind myself that I am one with God, and in God, I have the power to turn my life around.
Instead of lamenting any perceived shortcomings, I focus on my strengths. I exchange thoughts of lack with gratitude. I am an unlimited being, living in an unlimited universe, experiencing good in unlimited ways. I trade disagreement for love. Barriers collapse as I direct loving thoughts and words toward those with whom I’ve felt contention. I affirm my oneness with the Spirit of all people. My positive thoughts are focused on the animating God-energy circulating in my life and affairs. My life is turned around for the better.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be acceptable to you.—Psalm 19:14

Let Go Let God in Rest

I rest from my labors; I am restored and refreshed.

Throughout the week, I may be busy and productive. Yet the creation story in the Book of Genesis reminds me that a time of rest is also important.
Rest restores balance to my body and my mind. I offset physical labor with sleep, as well as exercise and play. I release mental tension by setting aside any struggle or strife and allowing the peace of God to renew my spirit.
I rest from work and from worry and concern. I nurture my body and refresh my mind. As I daydream and play, the restorative power of God revitalizes me.
Fully rested, I open to inspiration and resume my work with renewed enthusiasm.

So God blessed the seventh day and hallowed it, because on it God rested from all the work that he had done in creation.—Genesis 2:3

Let Go Let God in Wholeness

Through the healing power of gratitude, I am whole.

Whatever I appreciate, appreciates. I give thanks for the blessing of my body, and the perfect Life within each cell and atom is called forth.
As I see my body whole and healthy, those qualities are manifest. I give thanks for Spirit expressing through the wondrous network of my body temple.
I give thanks for the joy in my life, and I call forth the perfect Love of God in me. Love radiates throughout my being to heal any wounds, revealing my innate wholeness.
I give thanks for abundance in my life, and I call forth infinite supply. I am blessed this day and grateful to the Giver of all gifts. My life is whole and complete.

Then one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, praising God with a loud voice.—Luke 17:15

Let Go, Let God

I let go and let God work in and through me.

Perseverance serves me well when I am determined to achieve a particular goal. The power of my mind and body help me succeed. Nevertheless, I draw on divine discernment to know when to keep pushing and when to let things unfold on their own.
I let go and let God work in and through me, guiding me to right actions and outcomes. Sometimes I take the lead, and other times, I allow events to transpire as they will.
Surrendering to God opens me to an inflow of divine ideas, substance and life. I find inner strength that preserves my energy and inspires new ways of accomplishing my goals. By letting go and letting God, I live with ease and grace, accomplishing what is mine to do.

Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, says the Lord of hosts.—Zechariah 4:6
