Let Go Let God Live with Intention

I discern what is mine to do, and I live with purpose.

Prayer enhances my ability to live with intention. In quiet receptivity, I enter into prayerful communion with the presence of God. This time apart allows me to discern and consciously choose my priorities. I am guided how to best use my time and energy. I am led to express my talents in constructive and fulfilling ways.
Like seeds that sprout and grow into mature and productive plants, my priorities and goals are planted in the fertile soil of my mind and heart. I nourish them with attention, thought and action and carry them to fruition. I am mindful to balance my responsibilities and activities with time alone with God. In this way, I stay in touch with my purpose, intention and spirit.
The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head.--Mark 4:28

Let Go Let God Nourish

I nourish my mind and body in right and healthy ways.

My body is a holy temple, filled with the healing light and power of God. Divine intelligence operates within every atom, cell, tissue and organ and enables it to function in amazing ways.
I am one with this divine intelligence and I cooperate with it by nourishing my body in right ways. I take care of my body by exercising and eating right, and I pray and meditate to open my mind and body to divine peace and harmony. My body is a holy temple, filled with divine light and guided in right ways. I open myself--heart, mind and body--to the divine intelligence within me. I cooperate and give thanks for it, and I rest in the truth that I am healthy, whole and well.
Do you not know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you, which you have from God, and that you are not your own?--1 Corinthians 6:19

Let Go Let God and Stretch

With every experience, I stretch and grow in Spirit.
As I stretch, I move beyond what is comfortable. I can do this in many ways. I can stretch myself physically by starting a new exercise program, or emotionally by speaking more candidly or reaching out in a strained relationship. I can expand my perspective and see the good in a difficult situation or stretch my intellect by learning a new subject or skill.
I can stretch myself spiritually by committing to a spiritual practice. Whether it be daily meditation, a prosperity practice, a gratitude journal or some other form of spiritual exercise, I commit today to stretch myself. When I do, my capacity grows and I influence the world in new and positive ways.
Thus says the Lord, who stretched out the heavens and founded the earth and formed the human spirit within.--Zechariah 12:1

Let Go Let God Release

One with Spirit and all creation, I am free.
I am free--a beloved creation of God with the ability to choose my own direction. If outer circumstances or inner desires seem to be holding me back, I turn within to God's spirit, my constant guide and companion.
It is said, "If you love something, set it free." I love myself enough to release any notions that I should have been different or should have acted differently in the past. I allow myself to transform and make new choices in the present. In love, I release myself to my divine potential.
The practice of releasing my attachments to the past helps me release myself and others from any feelings of guilt or shame. As a beloved creation of Spirit, I am free, I am empowered, I am unlimited.
He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives ... to let the oppressed go free.--Luke 4:18

Let Go Let God Give Focus

My energy is focused on the fulfillment of my soul.

At any given time, I may be drawn to a number of goals, interests or opportunities. I bring these ideas to prayer to discern my next step. What am I called to do right now? If I am looking to achieve excellence in my field of interest or employment, I focus on the presence and power of God in me. Any anxiety I have will be translated into confidence, enabling me to do my very best.
As I immerse myself in my chosen activity and focus my energy, I have a clarity of purpose. My energy and enthusiasm are extensions of the energy of God. Through God, I discover my unlimited potential.
My life takes on new meaning and purpose as I focus my energy toward the fulfillment of my soul.
See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!--2 Corinthians 6:2

Let Go Let God Forgive

I forgive by giving it all to God.

Because I desire a clean, nurturing home and workplace, I sweep away dust and remove clutter. Similarly, to be happy and peaceful, I must sweep away any unforgiveness that clutters my heart and mind. What I hold in my heart creates the emotional space I live in and share with others. Any unforgiveness I hold toward another creates resentment in me and leaves me bound to past experiences.
Instead, I choose to be free through forgiveness. If memories of old hurts arise, I give them all to God. I feel God's unconditional love dissolving my pain. Forgiveness given is forgiveness received. As I give it all to God, divine love sets me free.
For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.--Matthew 6:14

Let Go Let God in Harmony

To achieve harmony, I attune to absolute good.

If I feel out of tune with life, out of sorts or frustrated, I turn within and attune to the spirit of God, the spirit of Truth within. To be wholly in tune with the rhythm and joy of the universe, its people and its activities, I apply my spiritual energy in the direction of harmony and unity. I behold the divine idea of purity and perfection underlying all that appears in the world.
With love in my heart, I look for that which is true and beautiful in all persons and conditions. In seeking the best in others, I not only discover the depths of goodness in my own being, I find it easy to reach agreement with others. Nothing can disturb my consciousness of harmony or hinder its manifestation in my world when I attune myself to God's absolute good.
Hold fast to what is good.--1 Thessalonians 5:21

Let Go Let God in Preparation

I am ready and open to receiving abundant good.
When I am expecting a guest, I carefully prepare my home to ensure that my guest will be comfortable. I look forward to the enrichment I know will result from our visit.
During this Lenten season, I prepare myself for the renewal and rebirth of Easter. I search within for areas that need attention. Perhaps I need to ask or give forgiveness or acknowledge and release something that no longer serves my highest good. I pray in an awareness of God's unlimited love and support. My guest this season is greater love, peace and joy. I am ready, willing and prepared for the beauty, wonder and fulfillment that are coming to me now.
And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and will take you to myself, so that where I am, there you may be also.--John 14:3

Let Go Let God Believe in Healing

I claim my wholeness. I am healthy and strong.

In many of the healing stories in the Gospels, Jesus is quoted as saying "Your faith has made you well." Healing comes from within.
I begin healing by recognizing the Truth: I am God's perfect idea of life in expression. This is my true nature. As I attune my thoughts to this Truth, I soon begin to notice changes in my outer circumstances. I am guided to new choices in my activities and relationships. I attract people and opportunities that support my healing process. I forgive myself and others for past actions that felt hurtful. I express gratitude for my health and vitality. With faith in the healing power of Spirit within, I am restored to the wholeness I was created to express.
He said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace."--Luke 8:48

Let Go Let God Provide Leadership

Inspired by God's presence, I make wise choices.
When I honor the qualities and accomplishments of great leaders, I honor the same leadership qualities in me. These gifts are God-given. I value the capacity to express deep wisdom, courage and strength in my life just as the world's great leaders have demonstrated it in theirs.
The word leadership implies that there is also follow-ship. As I mindfully follow the wise leadership of others in my community or workplace, I demonstrate my faith. I recognize the presence of God within leaders today and in the past, and the presence of God within me. I rely on God to infuse us with wise judgment, guidance and divine ideas.
I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for everyone, for kings and all who are in high positions, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life.--1 Timothy 2:1-2

Let Go Let God Be Irresistible

I exude love of life!

I have been around people whose joy was infectious and irresistible. Today I radiate that kind of joy. I am filled with gratitude for the gifts of life--for the clear blue sky of the day and the brilliant stars at night.
Beauty shines everywhere. I see it in the radiance of a smiling face, the liveliness of a bustling city, the stillness of a walk in nature. I am filled with awe and wonder.
Love for life is contagious. Love energizes me and radiates from me. If ever I am feeling stress, I remember with gratitude all that is precious to me. I love life, and I exude love, joy, laughter and appreciation for all that is.
Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then it was said among the nations, "The Lord has done great things for them." --Psalm 126:2

Let Go Let God with Grace

I am a blessed and beloved child of God.

When a ball is thrown against a wall, it bounces back. Likewise, the actions and energy I send out return to me in kind. I give love and I am blessed by love's return. I hold positive thoughts and they contribute to the good I experience.
When I become aware that I have made a mistake or expressed less than my full potential, God's grace softens the consequence and guides me through a learning opportunity. It is as if I've thrown a ball against the wall and it deflected at an angle, instead of returning to me at full impact. I am a blessed and beloved child of God, growing into the full expression of my divine potential. I learn from mistakes and accept God's grace with a grateful heart.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all.--Titus 2:11

Let Go Let God in His Sanctuary

I am safe and protected in the sanctuary of God's care.

Jesus reminded us of the importance of having a sanctuary--a place for retreat. He withdrew often to spend quiet time with God and to rest and pray.
In the busyness of my everyday life, I, too, need a place to call my sanctuary, a place where I feel safe and protected, and able to relax, rejuvenate and reconnect with Spirit.
My sanctuary might be a physical space, such as a special room in my home, a church I attend, or a park I like to visit. Or my sanctuary might be a state of mind and heart, where I retreat in prayer and meditation.
In my sanctuary, I release my innermost feelings and concerns to God. I visit it often, and when I'm there, I rest in God's love, safety and support.
He said to them, "Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while."--Mark 6:31

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

Prompted by inner guidance, I move forward with courage and poise.

When pressed to make a tough decision, I may seek advice from friends, prayer partners or family members, until there are so many opinions I feel more confused than ever. The truth is: The answer I seek is within me.
Others may help tease it out of me, yet the best way to find guidance is to step away from the problem and create space for my inner wisdom to express and be heard. Time spent in nature, at play, or focused on simple tasks allows the answer to quietly but clearly slip into my awareness.
This intuitive prompt is so certain, I feel energized, at peace and confident that the guidance received is God-inspired.
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go. --Psalm 32:8

Let Go Let God Be Trustworthy

I speak the truth and I give my best.
Our world is a network of interdependence. I rely on others to do their part just as others rely on me. I feel good about myself when I am able to speak the truth and give my best effort.
I give my best even when I am trying something new or I am unsure how others might regard me. I give generously from all that is mine to give, knowing I am a channel for God's infinite good in the world.
I speak words that are true and kind. With quiet courage, I speak respectfully of all others. I apologize if I have failed to be my best self or do what I committed to do.
At the end of the day, I celebrate my accomplishments and forgive any missteps, committing to do my best again tomorrow.
You have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things.--Matthew 25:23

Let Go Let God With a Loving Heart

I open my heart for a fresh infusion of God's healing love.

The heart symbolizes the center of divine love. Through the love in our hearts we are moved to forgive, to serve others without reservation, to work unselfishly for the good of humankind.
Divine love heals and blesses. In the stillness of prayer, I draw God's healing love into my heart. If I have let hurt or fear build a wall around my heart, I muster the courage to let divine love fill me and deflect any pain or suffering. Nothing can rob me of the joy of giving and receiving love; nothing can block its flow. A heart full of love knows no fear.
I am a magnet for love that draws more of itself to me; I am a mirror that reflects God's love out into the world.
Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all offenses. --Proverbs 10:12

Let Go Let God Live in Prosperity

Spirit fills my mind and my life with unlimited good.
I live in a world of Spirit substance. It permeates my mind as divine ideas that enrich my life's affairs. Because I am conscious of this omnipresent substance, I know there is no lack in any aspect of my life.
I look around me, and everywhere I see evidence of God's abundance. The fields are green with the promise of a great harvest. A wealth of goodness, rich ideas and unlimited potential are available to all. My heart is filled with gratitude in the assurance of divine supply.
I resolve to never dwell on the appearance of lack or limitation, but to think, speak and live as the grateful receiver of an abundant supply of Spirit substance.
How weighty to me are your thoughts, O God! How vast is the sum of them! --Psalm 139:17

Let Go Let God All Is Well

All is well as I open my heart to the free-flowing love of God.
All is well. What a powerful statement! When I affirm "All is well," I am affirming that my life and the lives of those I love are in God's care, filled with divine blessings. My trust is in God.
By stating "All is well," I open myself to a flow of divine energy and everlasting love that blesses me in unimaginable ways. Just as a faucet opens to a free flow of water when it is turned on, I am open to a free flow of peace, prosperity, love and joy when I turn my heart to God.
No need is too great for the power of God within me to resolve. As I affirm "All is well," I am assured that I am forever in God's care, experiencing unlimited good.
Let the one who believes in me drink. As the scripture has said, "Out of the believer's heart shall flow rivers of living water."--John 7:38

Let Go Let God Believe in World Peace

My thoughts, words and actions contribute to peace for all.

What I desire for myself, I desire for all beings. There is only One Presence and One Power at work in the universe. As I align myself with this truth, I set in motion ripples of peace, harmony and abundance throughout the world.
In a quiet time of prayer, I center my thoughts on the perfect peace within me. There is no lack, no separation--only the wholeness of peace. I affirm aloud: I am peace. You are peace. We are peace. I rest for a moment, feeling my heart expand as peace radiates from me. I envision a world in which all beings live in harmony, free from lack, free from violence, and at peace. One by one, each of us creates this peace for all.
Then King Darius wrote to all peoples and nations of every language throughout the whole world: "May you have abundant prosperity!"--Daniel 6:25

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I pray for you and see you whole and complete.

Many times during his ministry Jesus would stop and pray for others. He knew the power of the spoken word and the effect that faith has on the spirit, mind and body.
When I pray for others, I do not need to know the details. Whether the concern is for healing, guidance, divine order, safety, prosperity or any other desire, my prayer is one of affirmation and gratitude that the answer is already established. I know the spirit of Truth, the spirit of Peace, the spirit of Love touches each individual I hold in prayer.
Prayer keeps me open and receptive as a conduit for the power of God to express. What a blessing it is to pray for others!
He was praying in a certain place, and after he had finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray."--Luke 11:1

Let Go Let God Be Free

I am free!
Through the power of divine will, I make choices in my life. My choices are influenced by divine understanding and wisdom. I am guided by the Christ within to choose my path, whether it means staying where I am or moving forward. I can pursue the dreams of my heart. I am free to live the life I choose!
I maintain a positive attitude and a cheerful heart as I create harmony in my life. Divine love erases doubt and fear and frees me to create a life of meaning. I use wisdom and strength to discern what is best for me and to release thoughts and feelings that no longer serve my good.
I am free to establish harmony in my life and to be a blessing to the world. I am free!
And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.--John 8:32

Let Go Let God Find Inner Peace

I discover peace within.
Peace is the stillness at the center of a storm. Just as violent storms on the surface of a lake or ocean don't disturb the calm environment deep below, I, too, maintain peace deep within me whether times are tranquil or chaotic.
As I focus my attention on the steady rhythm of my breathing, I calm the rough seas of my anxious thoughts. Filling my mind and heart with the words "Peace, be still," I soothe any anxiety. Fixing my gaze on a thing of beauty or the light of a candle, or simply closing my eyes, I become immersed in inner peace. I gratefully connect with the deep peace within me and offer this gift of peace to the world.
I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!--John 16:33

Let Go Let God Provide Comfort

I rejoice in the comfort of God's love.

I am responsible for my own happiness and peace of mind. When I relax in prayer, I feel the presence of God within and around me. I find peace in the awareness that the spirit of God, the eternal Comforter, is with me always.

Knowing I am never alone gives me strength. The assurance of ever-present help increases my joy. I take this knowledge into every part of my life. If I am paying bills, seeing a doctor, tending to a loved one, or watching the news, I am comforted by God's presence. My worries dissipate and my fears dissolve. I know that wherever I am, God is. This is the greatest comfort of all.

I will turn their mourning into joy, I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow. --Jeremiah 31:13

Let Go, Let God

I let go of old thoughts and conditions, and let God direct my life.

Today I release. Quietly and confidently, I yield to divine direction. In letting go of old thoughts and conditions, I feel a deep sense of peace. My thoughts, words and actions are filled with only what is good and desirable. I am assured of a successful day.

As I rest in the awareness that God is with and within me, my inner compass is directed in the way I should go. I am filled with deep assurance and contentment, for I know that I am being directed by Spirit.

Today I let go and let God's life and love flow through every cell of my body. Today I let go and let God direct my thinking, my speech and my activities. Today I place my trust in God, and all is well.

Our steps are made firm by the Lord, when he delights in our way. --Psalm 37:23

Let Go Let God in Faith

God is the One Presence and One Power active in my life and in the universe.

The wind is invisible, but I can see evidence of its power as it blows a sailboat across the water or turns the blades of a giant wind turbine. As I observe the wind, I am reminded that the spirit of God is also moving in and through my life in seen and unseen ways.
No matter what I am facing in the moment, peace fills my soul as I affirm my faith: God is the One Presence and One Power active in my life and in the universe. I not only proclaim my faith; I live my faith. By holding an expectation of good, I actively help shape my experiences. I recognize that even challenges offer good to be discovered.
My faith in God inspires me to have courage and encourages me to live life fully.
Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.--Hebrews 11:1

Let Go Let God Enrich Relationships

I am thankful for my relationships.
My heart warms with gratitude when I consider the relationships that enrich my life. I have family and friends who are my companions, and with whom I share a deep and lasting soul connection. We celebrate, cry and hug one another through joy and sorrow.
I am also thankful for my acquaintances--the store clerk who asks about my day, the veterinarian who cares for my pets, the neighbor who proudly shares pictures of her grandchildren--all are valued relationships.
Interacting with others offers a meaningful and rewarding avenue for spiritual growth. Our hearts open as we learn each other's ways, work through challenges together, and recognize each other's sacredness.
May the God of steadfastness ... grant you to live in harmony with one another.--Romans 15:5

Let Go Let God in Divine Order

Divine order is established in me and in my life.

As I think about order, I marvel at nature. Winter's barren trees follow their indwelling pattern to become summer's canopy of green. Birds follow their internal compass to make their yearly migration. The sun rises every morning in the east and sets in the west.
I am part of and immersed in the order of life. My breathing is orderly and rhythmic, as is my heartbeat; neither requires my control or direction. I relax into the flow of divine order and allow God to express in and through me, guiding my unfolding.
As each new day begins, divine order manifests in all I think and do. Divine order is established in my life, and I am grateful.
You have made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting. --Psalm 104:19

Let Go Let God with Joy

My life is filled with joy.
I begin this day with a joyful heart, filled with positive expectancy. I experience joy in many ways--seeing a child at play, feeling the love of a pet, talking with a friend on the telephone.
If challenges come my way, I do what I must, without worry or drama. I appreciate the life I have been given and the opportunities that arise. I give to others in loving service and strive to be a positive influence on the world around me.
Joy does not come from outside of me; it emanates from Spirit within. It reflects the choices I make, moment to moment. As I end my day, I give thanks for manifest blessings. My life is filled with joy.
I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.--John 15:11

Let Go Let God Step Forward and Enter

With peace in my heart, I step forward on my life's journey.

It's been said that every journey begins with a single step. Is there a step I need to take in my life right now? Do I need to move forward in my work? In a relationship? In my spiritual life? If the answer is yes, I take that step now. My step may be opening my heart to new ideas and possibilities, looking at creative avenues of self-expression, or discovering new ways to learn, grow and express myself as a spiritual being.

Life is a journey of small steps. Some require great courage and strength. Some only require the desire to move forward and experience something new. With each step, I enter a new experience, one that is mine alone. I take that step now with faith in God and confidence in myself.

Look, I have set before you an open door, which no one is able to shut.--Revelation 3:8
