Let Go Let God with Spiritual Energy

My energy is properly directed, and I live a happy life.

Life is energy and the results I see in my life are a reflection of how I am directing my energy. If life seems unsatisfying, perhaps I am not expending my energy in a God-directed way. Life is meant to be lived fully and intentionally. When my thoughts and conversations are positive and uplifting, I contribute to peace and harmony in my home, at work and in my social group. I have a joyous outlook on life. My thoughts are inspired; my words are strong, kind, loving and effective; my actions are purposeful and definite.
As I allow the spirit of God within to direct my actions and attitudes in constructive ways, I live a happy life.

My speech and my proclamation were not with plausible words of wisdom, but with a demonstration of the Spirit and of power.—1 Corinthians 2:4

Let Go Let God in Spiritual Growth

I make choices that help me grow as a spiritual being.

Spiritual growth is an ongoing process and a very personal one. I open myself to insights every day and my lessons come in many ways. From the moment I wake to the time I go to sleep, I have opportunities to learn and grow. An important part of my spiritual development is learning to make wise choices. I can choose to have a positive attitude or a negative one. I can choose to make healthy or unhealthy decisions for my mind and body. I can choose to enhance my relationships, treating others in kind and respectful ways. Spiritual lessons are always available. I embrace them and rise to a higher level of understanding each day.

Choose this day whom you will serve … but as for me and my household, we will serve the Lord.—Joshua 24:15

Let Go Let God Manifest Prosperity

I am a prosperous child of God.

If I find myself envying someone who inherits great wealth, I pause to recall who I am. I am the beloved child of the most generous parent of all—the Divine Creator. I am worthy of good, and my good is never withheld from me. As I contemplate this Truth, I release any thoughts of lack, limitation or unworthiness. I am not in a faraway country, apart from my Beloved. God is as close to me as my own breath. Filled with a consciousness of God’s ever-presence, I manifest abundant supply. I claim the prosperity of my divine inheritance. With my attention on the fullness at hand, I find more blessings to count than stars in the sky. I am the prosperous child of an infinitely abundant Creator.

Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.—Luke 12:32

Let Go Let God Provide Comfort

Your rod and your staff—they comfort me.

When I experience a deep loss, I lean on divine understanding to see me through. The psalmist speaks of the comfort of the “rod and staff,” symbolizing God’s unfailing strength. The presence of God within supports and comforts me when I feel unable to stand alone. I trust in divine infinite love and in the indwelling power of God to heal my heart and restore my peace. I don’t need to know when or how circumstances will change. I simply open my heart to God’s presence here and now. Strengthened and at peace, I move forward with my life … out of the valley of darkness and into the light. I am grateful for the healing comfort of God’s presence.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.—Psalm 23:4

Let Go Let God in Circulation

I circulate the currency of good and my capacity to receive expands.

A full jug cannot accommodate more. Similarly, if I cling to what I have now, without creating the capacity for anything new, I restrict the flow of fresh blessings pouring into my life. The spiritual laws of circulation and compensation tell me that freely sharing my gifts does not deplete my resources. I am willing to both give and receive. I joyously share my time, talent and treasures in varied and imaginative ways. I might offer a helping hand; volunteer my time; share an idea, a smile or a hug; or donate money or gently used possessions. With a consciousness of prosperity, I have more than enough to share. As I give, I expand my capacity to receive.

Please accept my gift that is brought to you … because I have everything I want.—Genesis 33:11

Let Go Let God in Harmony

My heart is at peace, and I am in harmony with my world.

Achieving harmony takes practice. A group of singers must practice to harmonize their voices, musicians must rehearse to find the right sound, and athletes on a team must train to work together. I, too, need to practice living in harmony. Harmony is a state of mind in which I feel peaceful and calm while being a beneficial presence in the world. To enter into this consciousness, I become still in prayer. I relax, let go and trust God to guide me in harmony and love. Prayer prepares me to interact with others in a peaceful way, to greet others with openness, to serve with love and joy, and to act with kindness and compassion. When my heart is at peace, I am in harmony with the world.

Peace be to you, and peace be to your house, and peace be to all that you have.—1 Samuel 25:6

Let Go Let God at Home

My soul is at home in God.

Home is a place where all the pieces fit together. I may feel at home at the ocean’s sandy shore or in the heart of the city. I may unexpectedly feel at home in a new place where I immediately fit right in. Familiar places and faces, smells and sounds, can stir up feelings of home in me. Home can also be an awareness—as when my heart opens into the pure love of Spirit. Just as a key clicks into place to open a lock, my true self emerges as I align my thoughts with Divine Mind. There is a sweet rush of peace and my soul is at home in God. Wherever I am living, under whatever conditions, I know that I am at home in God. Safe and secure, I rest in God’s presence.

For God alone my soul waits in silence … On God rests my deliverance and my honor; my mighty rock, my refuge is in God.—Psalm 62:5, 7

Let Go Let God Find Inner Peace

God’s peace is within me.

I cannot control the weather or the words and actions of others. Sometimes I may feel as though I can’t even control myself. When life seems unmanageable, I look for ways to restore peace within. I affirm the words Jesus spoke to the stormy sea, “Peace! Be still!” My words invoke the activity of the Holy Spirit. Peace arises to soothe my frazzled emotions and calm my troubled thoughts. With a cleansing breath, I recenter in God’s peace. It is always available to me. In peace, I have nothing to fear. Resentment and worry dissolve into nothingness. Each situation will resolve and every concern is temporary. God’s peace is established in me.

Jesus came and stood among them and said, “Peace be with you.”—John 20:19

Let Go Let God in Grace

I open my whole being to divine grace.

The classic Unity book The Quest, says, “Grace is God’s goodness given to you in greater proportion than you give of yourself to God.” I picture myself rowing a canoe downstream with the current. As the flow carries me faster than merely the result of my efforts, I experience the extra speed and motion as unearned “gifts.” Grace is this kind of gift. It is the activity of Spirit at my back. I am in the flow of divine grace as I go about the activities of this day and grow in spiritual understanding throughout my life. Grace is always flowing, and in its flow, I am carried forward. Divine love and goodness bless my life. I open myself to divine grace and accept the gift of unconditional love.

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all.–Titus 2:11

Let Go Let God Be Free

I am free and filled with the power and energy of Spirit.

Allowing myself to wallow in worry, doubt, fear or indecision drains my energy and leaves me feeling helpless. But I am not helpless; I am powerful and free as I step into the freedom that Spirit offers. Freedom lies within me. It is mine to claim. With energy, courage and divine support, I freely move forward to achieve my goals. Freedom is a choice. It means choosing to set my intention and attention on the power of God within. It means turning away from any negative influences that would hold me back. I choose the power of liberation and the exhilaration of knowing I can do all things through the freedom of Spirit in me. I dwell in the spirit of God. I am free!

I run the way of your commandments, for you enlarge my understanding.—Psalm 119:32

Let Go Let God Find Inspiration

I am inspired!

I am thankful for the inspiration that lifts my heart and encourages me to live each day with purpose and meaning. Inspiration comes to me through many channels when I open myself to receive. I am inspired when someone believes in my dreams and capabilities. I am inspired by beauty, nature, the arts and the human spirit. I am inspired by acts of service and generosity. Knowing how much encouragement means to me, I look for opportunities to inspire others. I help those in need and offer heartfelt support to build their confidence. I reinforce the powerful qualities they inherit as children of God. I pray for others and envision each person guided to follow their right path in their own way.

Encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.–1 Thessalonians 5:11

Let Go Let God in Transformation

I am transformed when I live from my highest self.

At the core of my being is a powerful, abiding essence. As I focus my thoughts on the love, life, light, peace and joy of God, I align with that essence. God is not separate from me and I am not separate from God. I recognize the strength and power of my being. When I claim the truth of my divine nature, my life is transformed. I create my life according to my beliefs. If I believe that others should determine how I live my life, I may feel powerless. If I take responsibility for making my own choices, I feel empowered. I see and claim my infinite potential. Transformation is gradual but dramatic as I fully realize that I am eternally one with God.

But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.—Ephesians 4:15

Let Go Let God in Stillness

In stillness, I find contentment.

The beloved 23rd Psalm is a source of comfort to many in need or sorrow. It can also be the focus of meditation when remembered as a series of powerful affirmative statements. One such affirmation is: I am led beside still waters. A wise shepherd leads his sheep away from rapid torrents to cross the stream where waters are calm. Otherwise, the weight of the wet sheep’s wool would cause the animal to drown in the rushing waters. God as universal law also leads me to still waters—a place of inner stillness. In this calm space, thoughts that threaten to rush in and overwhelm me dissipate. As I breathe in, I feel the safety of resting beside still waters. As I breathe out, my soul is restored.

He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.—Psalm 23:2

Let Go Let God be Protected

I am protected and assured of continual well-being.

If ever I feel lost in the wilderness of life, the love of God is my internal compass, pointing the way home. I am assured by the power of God’s steadfast love. It works through me to solve problems, heal disease, and overcome hate. When my consciousness is full of love, it has no room for fear. Through the power of God’s love, I am protected from doubt and negativity. I am God’s beloved child. I feel God’s presence in my heart and mind. Divine love is my protection. Confidently, I become an open channel through which God’s love flows. As divine love enfolds me and delivers me from fear, I am protected and assured of continual well-being.

Those who love me, I will deliver; I will protect those who know my name.—Psalm 91:14

Let Go Let God in Divine Order

I move through change with ease.

It is easy to affirm divine order when all is going smoothly, but it can be more difficult when I experience a loss. Divine order is a continual process. I know that when the sun sets on one side of the world, it is rising on the other. When I consider my life in this way, I see my own sunsets from a new perspective. I accept and honor the transitions in my life. I allow what was once part of my experience to pass, and I wait patiently for what is next. As I move through change, I am not alone. The love of God is my assurance and support. With God, I gain a deeper understanding of my life. I know that after every sunset, I will experience a grand sunrise.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes … for the first things have passed away. … See, I am making all things new.—Revelation 21:4, 5

Let Go Let God Have a Second Chance

The power of God within brings my true self into expression.

Sometimes we may feel as though we are our own worst enemy. We may think, If I could just get myself out of the way, everything would be all right. This is a state of inner turmoil, but through the power of God, we can find peace. Instead of self-condemnation or despair, we can remember that even though we feel we have fallen short, we always have a second chance to do our best. The self that seems to misstep or flounder is not our true self. Our true self—made in the image and likeness of God—cannot fail. We relax and know that the power of God within us brings our true self into expression. As we unify our thoughts, emotions and desires to the spirit of God within, we are blessed with a new day.

No one can serve two masters.—Matthew 6:24

Let Go Let God with Joy

I create a life of joy.

Many people have a standard response to the greeting, “Hello. How are you?” For some it might be, “Fine. Thanks.” But what if my response was, “Joyful!” Would it change my thoughts? Would it change the way I view myself and my life? I choose to live every day in the joy of Spirit. To help me, I can create a “joy chest” of happy memories—pictures, poems and stories that make me smile and inspire me, clippings of things I have done or want to do. I choose items that delight and excite me. If I am not feeling joyful, I tap into my “joy chest” and remember everything that brings me happiness. As I string together day after joyful day, I create a wonderful and blessed life.

You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall go well.—Psalm 128:2

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

In mind, body and spirit, I am whole and well.

Each event in my life gives me the opportunity to heal and grow emotionally, physically and spiritually. I embrace these opportunities and move boldly into wholeness. If the words or actions of others have hurt me, or if fear or doubt leave me disheartened, I turn within to the Divine for guidance and support. I am strengthened as I focus on my oneness with God. If I seek healing of a physical injury or illness, I trust the power of God within. I open my mind and heart to divine healing. I give thanks for those who have the skills, knowledge and wisdom to help me heal, and I allow them to do so. My well-being depends on my ongoing communion with the Divine.

The centurion answered, “Lord, … speak the word, and my servant will be healed.”—Matthew 8:8

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I rest in the holy place within and am guided to right answers.

Faced with conflicting choices in making an important decision, I revisit the holy place within me, where I can find the guidance I seek. In prayer, I sense divine wisdom nudging me toward the answers that are right for me. I trust the wisdom of God imprinted on my soul and tap into my intuition. I know I have found my right path when I feel a sense of peace settling into my consciousness. In this sacred communion with loving wisdom, I am inspired to make choices that are morally and spiritually in integrity with the truth of who I am. I am a child of God—clear and directed, wise and loving. I fearlessly act upon the guidance I receive to make sound, God-inspired decisions.

In your steadfast love … you guided them by your strength to your holy abode.—Exodus 15:13

Let Go Let God's Light

The light and love of God warm my heart and brighten my days.

During the short days of winter, we see less of the sun, but it hasn’t disappeared. The earth has moved, but the sun is still shining bright and clear. At times I may feel as if I am in darkness, disconnected from the light of God. Yet God’s light and love are always available. Even when I struggle, God is here for me. I need only shift my focus to rediscover God. I close my eyes and imagine the light of God everywhere in and around me. I feel it warming my heart and illumining my mind. God’s presence relieves me of any burdens. I feel lighter and more energetic in body, mind and spirit. God’s light and love fill my heart and brighten my days.

For you who revere my name the sun of righteousness shall rise, with healing in its wings.—Malachi 4:2

Let Go Let God See World Peace

I commit to a path to peace.

I may be tempted to focus on what is wrong with the world as headlines highlight stories of chaos and conflict. If I dwell on that news, I feel discouraged. Instead, I choose to focus on what is right with the world. I notice the inspiring evidence of goodness and peace being shared. People all over the world are helping others in distress. Volunteers build houses, grow crops, and provide medical care. Community members stand up for neighbors who have been treated poorly. I see evidence of Spirit manifesting as good works sprout, grow and enrich our world. I find ways to spread peace and love by sharing my time, skills and resources within my community and beyond.

Her ways are ways of pleasantness, and all her paths are peace.—Proverbs 3:17

Let Go, Let God

As I let go and let God, I am in the divine flow of life.

Chores, tasks, commitments—I always have plenty to do. At times, I may even let my to-do list manage me, rather than the other way around. So today, I take a different approach: I let go. I let go of rush, resentment, perfectionism and any feelings of insufficiency. Whatever I choose to do, I focus on it with gratitude, aware of the presence of God in this moment and in this work. I let God direct me through each activity with grace and ease, and I experience the joy of giving. When I finish, I bless what I have done and move on to my next task. I work in this way throughout the day, letting go and letting God steer me from one activity to the next. I am in the divine flow, and I am grateful.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.—John 14:1

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I pray affirming peace, wholeness, wisdom and prosperity for all.

The power of prayer is palpable. Prayer is unceasing. I act in spiritual partnership with this global prayer ministry whenever I pray and whenever I include others in my prayers for peace, wholeness, wisdom and prosperity. Any seeming distance in time or space disappears through prayer. We are one. Whether I am praying alone or with others, I affirm the well-being of all expressions of God in the world.

They long for you and pray for you because of the surpassing grace of God.—2 Corinthians 9:14

Let Go Let God Have Faith

Empowered by faith, I claim my good.

Faith is the power that turns the invisible into the visible. In the game of golf, if a golfer is distracted by self-doubt or preoccupied with future events, his or her shot will likely go astray. A successful golfer pauses before each shot to imagine completing the stroke and seeing the ball land where intended. Each shot is directed by the golfer’s clarity of focus and powered by faith. I can use this same power to succeed in any situation. I heed my inner wisdom, envision my desired outcome, and proceed with intention. I hold in mind a clear picture of my expectation being met and focus on creating the experience. Empowered by faith, I claim my good.

So I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.—Mark 11:24

Let Go Let God Be Alive

I am alive with the awareness of God. My life is blessed.

I am alive, alert, awake and enthusiastic about life! With this affirmation of truth, I give thanks for this day, grateful for the adventure and excited to discover the blessings ahead. Feeling alive with the spirit of God, I appreciate every person and everything around me. It is as if a veil has been lifted. I clearly see the blessings in my life, and my eyes are opened to the goodness of God. I welcome new opportunities to be a channel for God’s good to flow. Focused on God, I feel a new surge of energy and purpose. I am alive spiritually, mentally, physically and emotionally—alive with the awareness of God.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.—Psalm 23:6

Let Go Let God Restore

I am healthy and whole.

I have in me the “same mind … that was in Christ Jesus.” As I embrace divine ideas of Truth—peace, love, health and strength—I lift my consciousness to Christ Mind, and I am guided to choices that restore my health and wholeness. My well-being is established in body, mind and spirit. In Christ Consciousness, I see myself and all others perfect, healthy and strong. I lay aside any belief in limitation and realize the truth of abundant life and health. As I think of loved ones facing health or other challenges, I behold the Christ within them. I see their divine wholeness, and I am confident of their inner and outer restoration. I see them moving through any challenge, emerging whole, healed and strong.

Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 2:5

Let Go Let God with a Fresh Start

A new me is being revealed each day.

An ending to something meaningful in my life may come as a surprise or as a dreaded outcome. When I hear or think the words, “It’s over,” I may feel confused or even hopeless. Yet whether anticipated or not, an ending is also a chance for a new beginning, an opportunity for a fresh start. When a relationship or a job has run its course, or a way of life no longer suits me, I make a new choice. Success comes as I learn from my mistakes, pick myself up, and begin anew. I turn within to release thoughts of the past, and I am encouraged by the love and wisdom that springs forth from the presence of God within me. As I rely on God, I discover all I can enjoy and accomplish in life. A new me is being revealed each day.

I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?—Isaiah 43:19

Let Go Let God Forgive

With God’s help, I forgive.

In this new year, I inventory my life to assess what I want and don’t want. I ask myself, What am I experiencing in my mind and heart? Observing my innermost thoughts and feelings, I take note of what I wish to keep and what I am ready to release. I hold close to heart the thoughts, beliefs and habits that foster my spiritual growth, enhance my relationships, and sustain my well-being. If I am holding on to resentments or hurts, I seek God’s guidance in freeing my soul and releasing these burdens. I am willing to forgive others and myself, to let go and trust God to lead me through any challenge. With each act of forgiveness, I feel lighter and I invite more good into all areas of my life.

Be kind to one another … forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.–Ephesians 4:32

Let Go Let God Accomplish

I accomplish my goals by listening to the indwelling spirit of God.

As I pursue a goal, I do my best and take pride in my progress. I may seek to release a bad habit or adopt a healthy new one, to overcome a difficulty or to learn a new skill. Even if I am unsure how to accomplish my goal, I know I will be guided and supported along the way. As I envision success, I imagine the feelings that will come with accomplishing it—feelings such as confidence, freedom and joy. I spend time in the stillness to pray, meditate, listen to Spirit, and discern my next steps. I don’t need all the answers at once. I simply need to move forward one step at a time. I am propelled by divine energy and guided by the infinite wisdom of Spirit.

Therefore, brothers and sisters, be all the more eager to confirm your call and election, for if you do this, you will never stumble.—2 Peter 1:10

Let Go Let God be the Source

God is my Source of infinite good.

A miner digs deep into the earth to find gold. To be successful, he may have to search for years, with many false starts. The source of abundance in my life is God, infinite and ever-present. Unlike the miner who requires great effort and expense to unearth his good, I simply turn within in prayer to access the true riches of life. My Source is never depleted. It is a rich supply of divine ideas, understanding, wisdom and strength—all I need for a full and complete life. These gifts already lie within me, and they are always available. In fact, the more I access and use the gifts of God, the more they grow. God is my Source of infinite good, and I am complete.

They feast on the abundance of your house … For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.—Psalm 36:8, 9

Let Go Let God in a New Year

I greet the new year with great expectations.

As the new year begins, I realize I have the opportunity to joyfully co-create the life I desire. Whatever my current circumstances, transformation is at my fingertips. When Noah sought to know what possibilities lay after the flood, he released a dove and waited patiently for it to return. Similarly, I release my thinking to imagine all the possibilities the year might hold, and I embrace the ideas that arise within me and reinvigorate my soul. Grateful for the memories and lessons of the past, I look forward with joyful anticipation to the year ahead. I am wise, worthy and excited about life, as I claim and pursue the desires of my heart.

The dove came back to him … and there in its beak was a freshly plucked olive leaf.–Genesis 8:11
