I emanate peace to all the world.
At my very core, I am peace. Yet I may not always feel peaceful, especially when I am experiencing conflict with another person. Peace is not the absence of conflict; it is the ability to remain centered no matter how upsetting the situation. Peace always begins with me. As I focus on the peace of God within me, I access my calm center. I feel my body relax; my breathing slows down. The peace in me fills my heart and mind. With practice, I learn to live in this peaceful state of mind in any situation. When I find my peace, I offer peaceful responses to the world around me. I find and celebrate the points of connection with others.
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.—Numbers 6:26
