Letting go, I let God express uniquely in each person I meet.
Each
individual I encounter is a unique expression of the Infinite Spirit.
While I might recognize this intellectually, I might not always behave
as if it were true. I may convince myself that I know what is best for a
loved one and struggle to get that person to change. In such
cases, as I take a deep breath, I remember that the Divine is present in
every person and situation. Trusting this, I let go of any efforts to
control or change anyone else. I honor the divinity in each individual
by placing my faith in their innate spiritual intelligence and wisdom. Remembering that the indwelling Spirit is ever present and in charge of all, I relax and let each person be himself or herself.
