I am the voice of love, compassion, and respect.
The great leader Nelson Mandela has been credited with saying, “If you talk to a man in a language he understands, that goes to his head. If you talk to him in his language, that goes to his heart.” I want to be the person who talks to others in the way that is most meaningful to them. I want to touch the hearts of others with my words and actions. To prepare my mind and heart for effective communication, I turn to God in prayer. I am guided in my interactions with others and express myself with ease and confidence, ever mindful of their feelings. I am an effective communicator—a voice of love, compassion, and respect.
Accept my words … making your ear attentive to wisdom and inclining your heart to understanding.—Proverbs 2:1, 2
