Let Go Let God Forgive

I forgive and live in the joy of each day.

The law of mind action states: Thoughts held in mind produce after their kind. I am a creative thinker who is fully responsible for my thoughts. So while in prayer, I replace negative thoughts with positive ones. If someone has done or said something that upsets me, I take a time-out. I breathe fully but gently and, in my mind’s eye, erase anger by practicing forgiveness. This prevents my reliving the perceived wrong over and over again. What a relief! As I change my thoughts, I begin to live in the soothing moment of forgiveness. Forgiving cleanses me of all that would otherwise get in the way of me experiencing life in the now. I forgive and live in the joy of each day.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.—Luke 6:37

Let Go Let God Find Comfort

I find comfort and peace in the love of God.

Life has its ups and downs. Sometimes I need the comfort of a friend. Other times I play the role of comforter. Whether I am seeking solace or providing it, I know the source of strength and peace comes from within. I seek comfort and strength in God. Centering my mind and heart in prayer, I let go of any thought of challenge or doubt and simply rest in the stillness. I become aware of infinite love surrounding me and lifting my spirit. If I want to comfort a friend or loved one, my prayer is for guidance for the right words and actions. I release my concerns to the all-knowing presence of God within. I am comforted by the love of God, and this love enables me to comfort others.
Let your steadfast love become my comfort according to your promise to your servant.—Psalm 119:76

Let Go Let God in Remembrance

I pause and pay tribute to all who have acted in service to others.

I take time in the Silence today to honor those who have gone before me. I am comforted because I know that the spirit of God is our loving, eternal connection. My heart fills with peace as I recognize my eternal oneness with all of humanity. I am continually blessed by acts of kindness and courage that happen throughout the world. I am grateful for every commitment of faith, act of sacrifice, and deed of honor made by anyone, anywhere. In this time of remembrance, I recognize and give thanks to all who serve a higher good. Sacred service is an expression of God’s eternal good, which blesses our hearts, lives, and the world forever.
We do not live to ourselves, and we do not die to ourselves. If we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord.—Romans 14:7-8

Let Go Let God through Divine Expression

I am designed to see light and love.

Ralph Waldo Emerson described prayer as “the soliloquy of a beholding and jubilant soul.” Divine Spirit is always inviting me to behold the love within my heart and to celebrate it. I was born with an unlimited capacity of joy and love, so it is easy for me to live as the jubilant soul Emerson identified. When I pray, I acknowledge Truth’s expression in my being. I acknowledge the divine expression in all living things. I release any preconceived images and ideas about people and situations, and instead behold the Divine in each one. From this higher viewpoint, I see goodness in all. With a gladness of heart, I embrace my proclivity to see the Divine in me and around me.
For “In him we live and move and have our being”; as even some of your own poets have said, “For we too are his offspring.”—Acts 17:28

Let Go Let God in Safe Travel

My journey is protected by the presence of God.

Travelers preparing for a trip take the necessary steps to make their way safe and clear—checking maps, verifying reservations, carefully packing, and more. Whether I am vacationing or simply commuting locally, I surround my travels in the light and love of God. I take time to visualize the free and clear flow of my travel, with divine order expressing all along the way, guiding me in right decision-making. I envision that the protecting power of God makes my way clear. Everyone who travels with me is safe and at peace. Along this voyage, I strive to be a blessing to everyone I encounter and open my heart to receive the blessings of others. My journey is protected by the presence of God.

The crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth.—Luke 3:5

Let Go Let God in Faith

Faith leads me to deeper spiritual understanding.

Faith is the voice inside me posing questions that nudge me into new areas of growth. Do I find myself challenging old beliefs about myself or my life? How can I, as a divinely created being, ever be less than enough or limited? In Truth, I am created with divine wisdom and strength and love and beauty. Rather than making decisions based on the advice of those around me, I instead choose that which aligns with my passion and purpose in this world. Faith reminds me to seek God first and then all my worldly needs will be met abundantly through my relationship to Source. I find answers to the questions of my heart as faith leads me to deeper spiritual understanding.

I give thanks and praise, for you have given me wisdom and power, and have now revealed to me what we asked of you.—Daniel 2:23

Let Go Let God with a Children's Blessing

You are God’s beloved—healthy, safe, and secure.

Children are divine blessings—innocent and trusting, open to the wonders of the world around them. When I hear of a child who is lost, sick, or afraid, I immediately turn to prayer. I envision every child enfolded in a blanket of God’s soothing, protecting love. I affirm their safety, wholeness, and security wherever they may be. My prayers and positive thoughts help me focus on ways I can help children and their families. I have faith that every child in need is safe and whole, every person who cares for that child is given the tools and opportunities to ensure good outcomes. Today I pray for children everywhere: You are God’s beloved—healthy, safe, and secure.

Little children, you are from God, and have conquered them; for the one who is in you is greater than the one who is in the world.—1 John 4:4

Let Go Let God be Open

I open my hands, my mind, and my heart to make a difference in the world.

A clenched fist cannot hold more, just as a closed heart misses out on all the beauty emotions can bring. I choose today to open my hands, my mind, and my heart. With open hands, I help others. I physically take positive action to make a beneficial difference in their lives as I become of service. To those in need, I lend a hand. My open mind continues a lifelong path of learning. I am in a constant state of discovery, finding new ways of being present in the world and recognizing the beauty that comes with diversity. My open heart seeks out ways to make peace where there is chaos. With kindness and in love, I treat others as I would want to be treated.
When you open your hand, they are filled with good things.—Psalm 104:28

Let Go Let God with Confidence

With confidence, I make choices that enrich my life.

When I remind myself that I have everything within me to accomplish any goal, I cannot help but feel confident. I am a child of God, created in the image and likeness of my creator. I am an image of love and perfection, with infinite wisdom to guide and strengthen me. How do I express confidence and strength? I spend time in prayer, connecting with God. In the stillness, I contemplate my divine potential. I let the power and presence of God bubble up from within, and I radiate poise and confidence. Whether interviewing for a job, taking a test, or traveling in an unfamiliar place, God-life within gives me confidence to be my best self.

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.—Psalm 9:10

Let Go Let God in World Peace

I hold a vision of peace and harmony for the world.

Archbishop Desmond Tutu once said, “We must be ready to learn from one another, not claiming that we alone possess all truth and that somehow we have a corner on God.” I take meaningful action in support of a peaceful global consciousness, beginning with the thoughts and visions that I hold for oneness. I recognize, honor, and respect the many paths to God and the diversity of humanity. I pray for peace in myself, in my community, and in the world. I open my heart to understanding. The energy of compassion moves out and blesses humanity. I am guided by Spirit. I hold a vision of peace and harmony for the world.

When the ways of people please the Lord, he causes even their enemies to be at peace with them.—Proverbs 16:7

Let Go Let God as Divine Order

I appreciate the divine order and clarity expressing in every part of my life.

There is a satisfaction in feeling that my own ego mind is in control of the events in my life—today and for days to come. However, there is a deeper, richer satisfaction that I experience when I surrender to the loving Power that causes everything in the universe to flow and express in order and harmony. In that surrender I release my own limited efforts to organize my life. There is one power and I am part of it. I am an essential part of a purpose more vast than my mind can imagine. I know that my day unfolds as an expression of that purpose. I give thanks for divine order in my life. I joyously embrace and rely upon the clarity that expresses in every part of my life.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.—Revelation 1:8

Let Go Let God be Free

My burdens disappear when I shine the light of Spirit on them. I am free.

Some days worrisome thoughts or concerns may seem to be constant companions. I begin to feel lighter when I remember this simple exercise: I pause, turn within, and rest in Spirit. To be fully comfortable with my life, I may think I need to have complete control over every variable in it—family, friends, government, weather, and more. But my true freedom comes through Spirit. When I think and move and have my being through my spiritual nature, I am free. I am unlimited. I take a few deep breaths, and my concerns begin to fall away. My mind is restored to its natural, free state. My burdens disappear when I shine the light of Spirit on them.
Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.—Matthew 11:28

Let Go Let God for Guidance

God is my constant guide on my fulfilling journey through life.

There is a synchronicity at work in nature, such as the rise and set of the sun and the ebb and flow of tides. The consistency of these naturally guided processes brings me comfort. Similarly, I can count on the presence of God to guide me in right ways. I am inspired with ideas that make my life more meaningful, and I can move forward with these ideas, knowing that I am following a purpose-driven, divinely inspired plan. I remain aware of and grateful for divine guidance directing my way. I give thanks to God now. I give thanks that I am never alone and for the life I have been given. I look forward to experiencing many more blessings as I trust in God.

O Lord, how manifold are your works! In wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures.—Psalm 104:24

Let Go Let God You Are Never Alone

God is my help in every need.

At any time I can shift my attention to peaceful thoughts by stopping and pausing to breathe. Inhaling deeply, I pray: I am never separate from God. God is my help in every need. Exhaling slowly and deliberately, I release any stress my body may be holding and relax. I then surrender any limiting perspective to God. Prayer is a divine connection that enables me to move through any challenging time. Knowing that God is always with me allows me to move forward in my life with a brighter perspective. Any dark cloud symbolically lifts and feelings of worry begin to fade, leaving my heart filled with gratitude. I feel comforted when I affirm: God is my help in every need.

I am not alone because the Father is with me.—John 16:32

Let Go, Let God

I allow the flow of Spirit to carry me.

In Richard Bach’s book, Illusions, he tells a story about a group of creatures who spend their lives clinging to the bottom of a river, resisting the current. One creature finally declares, “I trust that the current knows where it is going. I shall let go, and let it take me where it will.” I may find myself resisting circumstances in my life, clinging to my perceived safety nets out of fear of the unknown. When I let go and let God, I accept what appears in my life and allow the flow of Spirit to carry me. I trust that God will take me where I need to go. I release any need to control life’s conditions. I let go with ease and let divine order design my life.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.—Proverbs 3:5-6

Let Go Let God with Enthusiasm

I am enthusiastic and passionate about life!

Enthusiasm and passion motivate me to take action. I harness this energy to face my day with passion and eagerness. Enthusiasm propels me forward and allows me to bring excitement and zeal to everything that I do. Regardless of what my daily responsibilities look like, I feel divinely inspired and energized. I can accomplish whatever is on my to-do list. I recognize that with everything I do, I am doing so as an expression of God. Because of my spiritual nature, every action I take is sacred. I choose to move into each day from a place of enthusiasm, bringing the vital energy of God into each interaction. I am enthusiastic and passionate about life!

But be glad and rejoice forever in what I am creating; for I am about to create Jerusalem as a joy.–Isaiah 65:18

Let Go Let God as a New Chapter

Each day holds the potential for a new chapter in my life.

My life is like a book—an ever-unfolding story, presenting new adventures and possibilities at each turn of the page. Events and activities continue along, building upon the narrative of my life. I am the author of each chapter, writing my story according to the choices I make. When I want to change the direction of my path, I make choices that open the way to new adventures. When I feel the need for order and calm, I choose thoughts of peace and act from the place of order within me. If I am looking for new avenues of prosperity, I attune to divine ideas and affirm that I am divinely provided for. Whatever direction my personal story takes, I remember that I am the coauthor with God. With faith and gratitude, I write new chapters in the story of my life.
Write the vision; make it plain.—Habakkuk 2:2

Let Go Let God with Motherly Love

I bless all mothers in my prayers.

Nurturing and caring for another living being is a sacred activity. Today I take the opportunity to give thanks for all who have shared unconditional love and acceptance with me. A mother can be anyone who takes on a role of caring for a child—whether that person is a biological or adoptive parent, another relative, a teacher, or a friend. The most important aspect in being a mother is to love and care for a child unconditionally. Patience and compassion are mainstays for these expressions of love in action. Just as caring mothers hold loved ones in their arms, so, too, do I hold them in my prayers.

“Honor your father and mother”—this is the first commandment with a promise: “so that it may be well with you and you may live long on the earth.”—Ephesians 6:2-3

Let Go Let God as Wholeness

I am whole and well in mind and body.

I am more than a name, a gender, or any label that might describe me. I am a creation of God, created to express life and renewal. My divine identity emanates from the most profound depths of my being. The all-powerful spirit of God moves through me, continuing to nourish vibrant cells and replacing cells that have completed their work. I am continually being created anew. I am God’s spirit in expression as me. My mind is capable of renewal with unlimited expanses for recollecting and collecting information. In quiet times of reflection, I open my mind to Spirit and my perceptions of all people and things are enriched. Enlivened by Spirit, I am whole and well in mind and body.

So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them.—Genesis 1:27

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I live from an awareness of God’s love.

When friends or loved ones ask me to keep them in prayer, I feel a sense of honor and respect for this sacred activity. Regardless of their specific prayer needs, I affirm that God is the answer. God is always the answer. I pray by turning within to my awareness of God and releasing my attention on the outer world. I affirm all beings are perfect expressions of the Divine Spirit. Envisioning myself as a living vessel for the love of God, I let this love flow through me and surround those who come to me for prayer. I pray they know perfect love, perfect life, and perfect peace. When I hold others in this consciousness, the words I speak hold truth and power.

I pray that ... he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit.—Ephesians 3:16

Let Go Let God with Clear Vision

I recognize and respond to the sacred in all life.

A beautiful park beckons all to picnic and play. Yet some may be in such a hurry they don’t notice or have time to stop and take in the beauty. Life in all its forms is sacred. Taking time to clear our vision, we rise to a higher consciousness of positivity—a place where our vision is clear of the clutter of negativity. When we are ready and willing to share the joy of life and living, we clearly see the sacredness of all life. We are willing to uplift and to be uplifted. We convey love and hope in simple, unobtrusive ways, such as a gentle touch on the shoulder of a loved one or a smile to a stranger. The vision we hold is the sacredness of all life and the abundant life God created all to share. The spirit of God within will overcome all.

The Lord said to him in a vision, “Ananias.” He answered, “Here I am, Lord.”—Acts 9:10

Let Go Let God be Joyful

Joy is my natural state.

Happiness can serve as therapy that bolsters my spirit and energizes my body. Being in touch with my inner joy helps to heal any emotional wound and has the power to reconcile relationships. I get in touch with my inner nature in quiet times of prayer and let the joy that fills me flow outward from me. In this way, I affect both the people and events of my life. I remain peaceful, finding the blessing in challenges. Inner joy paves the way for loving interactions and fulfilling events to unfold. Joyfulness activates the healing energy within. When I touch that place of contentment, the cells of my body become receptive to the pure, healing life that dwells within.
I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.—John 15:11

Let Go Let God in Realization

My heart is filled with gratitude as I meet this day with confidence.

Realization is the awareness and inner knowing that my prayers will be answered. My faith is evident when I give thanks in advance because I know in my heart and mind that answers are manifesting. The light of understanding comes to me as I pray and listen, standing firm in belief. Myrtle Fillmore once shared, “Heaven and earth listen and respond to the soul that is quickened into praise and thanksgiving.” I feel God’s presence as assurance, comfort, and love. I continue with prayer, then let go and rest in the realization that spiritual understanding will come. Guidance will be revealed. Divine light will dispel darkness and make the path unmistakably clear.

For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nor is anything secret that will not become known and come to light.—Luke 8:17

Let Go Let God as the Light of God

I radiate grace, strength, and beauty.

The Swiss-American psychiatrist Elisabeth Kübler-Ross likened people to stained-glass windows. “They sparkle and shine when the sun is out, but when the darkness sets in their true beauty is revealed only if there is a light from within.” Even when the outer world looks dark or dimmed, I continue to express deep appreciation and joy because I know the light of God shines from within me. This inner light constantly uplifts and sustains me, illuminating my way. I radiate gratitude for the harmony, prosperity, and beauty that surround me. I am a beacon for God’s love. Divine life works through me to radiate grace, strength, and beauty to all I meet.

And there will be no more night; they need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light.—Revelation 22:5

Let Go Let God Open to Prosperity

The abundance of the universe flows to me. I accept it with joy and gratitude.

Some people may think of prosperity as something to be earned, a goal to be achieved. In spiritual Truth, prosperity is a natural expression of divine love, the infinite essence of all life. Prosperity flows abundantly through every atom in the universe and through every cell of my body. If my prosperity feels stifled, I know that any limitations are of my own making. Perhaps I am forgetting to stay vigilant against such thoughts when they appear. Not to worry! Such negative thoughts are dissolved as I appreciate the many ways in which prosperity is already expressing in my life. My prosperity comes when I experience more of God. I open my heart to receive and accept the abundance of the Universe.

Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.—Luke 12:32

Let Go Let God as Appreciation

I see and appreciate the inherent goodness in all people.

I appreciate the diverse people in my life. As I bring to mind someone I admire, I take a moment to bless this person with my love and respect. I take the opportunity to express my appreciation for this person through words of gratitude or acts of kindness. Appreciating a person I care about and respect is easy. Finding and showing appreciation for someone I find challenging may not be. Still, I recognize that everyone is a child of God. So I take a moment to see this person through God’s eyes. What I nurture grows. So I focus on divine gifts or qualities in all people. I help draw forth each person’s innate goodness by providing an environment of acceptance for it to flourish.

For the Lord does not see as mortals see; they look on the outward appearance, but the Lord looks on the heart.—1 Samuel 16:7

Let Go Let God with Simple Living

God is the source of all that I treasure.

In Disney’s The Jungle Book, Baloo the bear sings of “the simple, bare necessities” of life that allow us to forget about worries and strife. I reflect on my own life and those things I hold dear: the sound of children playing, the love of family, relaxing moments alone. I recognize God’s presence at the core of each experience. I cannot place a price tag on the things that bring me the greatest enjoyment. These are simple wonders around me. My life grows richer as I invest my time and attention in thoughts of God. Faith encourages me to trust that anything I desire is available in abundance and mine to claim. I appreciate the smallest kindness and the big celebrations of life. Simple living acknowledges that all life flows from one source—God.

For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.—Matthew 6:21

Let Go Let God in Affirmative Prayer

Spirit guides me in prayer.

Mary Kupferle wrote, “If you feel inadequate about praying, be still and obedient and the Spirit within will guide you.” Affirmative prayer - connecting with the spirit of God within and asserting positive outcomes - reflects my faith in that higher power. At any time I can turn within, dwell in my heart for a few moments, and be refreshed. Even in the midst of a busy office or a noisy marketplace, I can be still and know that I am one with God. I let the chatter in my mind surrender to stillness and silence. I know Spirit within guides me into my heart where Christ’s presence waits for me with joy and gladness. I give way to Spirit and I am well.

Make a joyful noise to God, all the earth; sing the glory of his name; give to him glorious praise.—Psalm 66:1-2

Let Go Let God with Spiritual Qualities

As I express my spiritual qualities, I reveal my divine nature.

When a flower opens its petals to the sun, it displays its beauty that had been hidden. Like that flower, I, too, am created in the image and likeness of God with a divine inner beauty waiting to be revealed. I show my divine nature when I express my spiritual qualities of kindness, compassion, love, acceptance, and interest in others. I feel my direct and continuous connection to Spirit. My highest calling is to be the expression of God in this world. I also acknowledge that all others are divine in nature, even if they may express it in different ways. As I express my own spiritual qualities, I reveal my divine nature. It is my opportunity to be a blessing in the world.
You are the light of the world. A city built on a hill cannot be hid.—Matthew 5:14

Let Go Let God with Inner Peace

I am infused with the peace and strength of God

Anytime I feel anxious or worried, I can turn to the words of Jesus for inspiration: “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or what you will drink, or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?” (Matthew 6:25) God is the source of the air I breathe, the food that nourishes my body, and the spirit that comforts my soul. I breathe in this truth. I exhale, releasing any thoughts of scarcity or lack. I feel a return to that deep, abiding inner peace that permeates my being. With God as my constant source, I am infused with peace, strength, joy, and gratitude.
Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they?—Matthew 6:26

Let Go Let God Feel Healing

I am a radiating center of divine life and energy.

I can use the power of words to bless my body temple. Whenever I feel tired or ill, I sit in the Silence and place my attention on divine life that dwells in the center of every cell in my body. I remind myself that, as a beloved child of God, health is my birthright. I remember that God’s will for me is a life of wholeness. I claim health and wholeness when I affirm: I am a radiating center of divine life and energy. Healing energy ripples forth from my life-giving words to bless my body temple.

Surely, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life.—Psalm 54:4
