Let Go Let God Hear Healing Words

The divine voice of love restores and revitalizes me.

Jesus taught and demonstrated that the words he spoke are Spirit and life. Following his example, I turn my attention to the Christ Spirit within me. From the depths of my being, the voice of unconditional love fills my mind and heart. I absorb these healing words of truth into my consciousness. Christ Spirit in me is my source of strength and health. Jesus’ words modeled healing. So when I hear love’s voice speaking gently, but with all power and authority, I am reminded that I am whole, worthy, and one with Spirit. As I reaffirm these Truths to myself, they reverberate throughout my being. I rejoice as these words of Spirit and life renew and revitalize every part of me.
My child, be attentive to my words ... for they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.—Proverbs 4:20, 22

Let Go Let God During Change

I face change with courage and faith.

Those things that I see, hear, and feel are never exactly the same from one day to the next. The Greek philosopher Heraclitus said that no one can step into the same river twice. Just as the water in a river is moving forward, my life is in motion as I travel onward. Seasons change, people change, and I change as I grow in understanding of life, of God, and of myself. I can prepare for such moments by living in faith. Rather than exerting effort to live in the past, I focus my energy on building upon new possibilities. I am never without a steady divine presence in my life. With God’s assurance, I face change with courage and faith.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea.—Psalm 46:2

Let Go Let God with Laughter

Laughter fills my entire being with joy.

Some people say that laughter is the best medicine. It connects me with others in positive ways and has been shown to produce positive changes in mind, body, and emotion. When I laugh, my body relaxes and my mood improves. Laughter creates a full-body response that fills me with joy. Mirth serves as a tool for taking care of myself. My daily life comes with different full-body stressors that at times make me feel overwhelmed or anxious. I can find relief throughout my day by looking for opportunities for laughter. My entire body responds by releasing tension and my mind begins to shift from negative to positive thinking. My emotions regulate and I feel balanced and serene. Laughter fills my entire being with joy.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy.—Psalm 126:2

Let Go Let God Bring Comfort

My awareness of God brings me comfort and strength.

Watching a gently flowing river winding its way in and around obstacles stills my mind and brings me peace. My life is like that river, steadily moving forward, making my way through any seeming blocks. If my journey is clogged because of unforeseen circumstances, I stop for a moment and rest my mind and heart in an awareness of God. In this peaceful place, I am comforted. I feel the presence of God with me and know that it gently carries me through feelings of loss or fear to a place of inner peace and strength. While the river of my life may not always be free of obstacles, it is always filled with God. I give thanks that my awareness of God brings me comfort and strength.
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.—Proverbs 4:23

Let Go Let God Be One With God

I am one with God and with all creation.

When I dip my hand into the ocean, each drop that rolls off the tip of my finger is part of the ocean and the ocean is part of it. And yet it is an individual droplet, in and of itself complete. I am much like the drop of seawater. I am part of God, and God is part of me, and the same is true for each being on the planet. We are also a piece of the whole that is humanity, and it is part of us. We are each connected to one another, united in spirit, one in consciousness. One positive thought, one act of kindness contributes to the good of all people. So I choose to honor my divine connection by doing all I can to be a blessing.
Whoever loves a brother or sister lives in the light, and in such a person there is no cause for stumbling.—1 John 2:10

Let Go Let God Forgive

I release any resentments, fears, or judgments I may hold.

As long as my infinite Spirit continues in this human experience, resentments, fears, and negative judgments will be part of the journey. By dissolving these negative reactions to the world and replacing them with the healing power of infinite love, I discover my spiritual purpose. The key to that purpose is forgiveness—allowing myself to see from the perspective of Spirit, free from the illusions of this mortal world. From that perspective I see only love expanding every day in greater expression. Today I joyfully release any resentments, fears, or negative judgments I may hold concerning others—and particularly myself.

Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.—Mark 11:25

Let Go Let God Provide Answers

In prayer, I receive answers.

New projects and possibilities fill me with joy and anticipation. They can also bring with them trepidation as I consider all of the options before me. I may find myself wondering where, when, and how to proceed. I can research ideas in books or poll loved ones, but seeking external answers alone may often leave me with too many options and more questions. There is only one true source for answers: God. When I seek clarity, I turn to prayer and receive divinely-directed messages. Centered in the awareness of the presence of God, I ask the questions on my heart. I learn to listen and put my faith in the still, small voice that whispers a reply. I know what is mine to do.
For everyone who asks receives, and everyone who searches finds, and for everyone who knocks, the door will be opened.—Matthew 7:8

Let Go Let God All Is In Divine Order

I am at peace, for divine order is active in my life.

In Paul’s letter to the Romans, I find this reminder: All things work together for good. It does not say some things work together for good on occasion. Rather, all things. Every day, in every way, things are getting better and better because divine order is active in my life. Yet there may be times when life is a bit chaotic. Whenever this happens, I affirm: divine order. I remember that order is always happening in my life, even if I don’t see it unfolding. I don’t have to understand every step of the way, but instead trust in God. My way will be clear in the right time and in the right way. Divine order is my security, always present because wherever I am, God is.

We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.—Romans 8:28

Let Go Let God Achieve Success

Success comes when my divinity and humanity act together.

What is success? I realize defining it for myself is the first step to experiencing it. When I get recognized for something I have achieved, I celebrate my success. If my goals need to change midway through, grace intervenes and carries me in a new and better direction. I sense something more powerful at work than my personal vision and effort—the presence of Spirit. I am most successful when I trust this invisible force to work alongside me and guide my path. Ultimately then, success is a partnership with Spirit. I do my part and remain open to what Spirit tells and shows me. I am most successful when I allow my divinity and humanity to act together.

But he said to me, “The Lord, before whom I walk, will send his angel with you and make your way successful.”—Genesis 24:40

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I pray for my loved ones, conscious of the presence of God within them.

Holding others in prayer is a powerful, sacred process. I realign my whole self, including all that I think, say, and do, with the healing, protecting presence of God. I pray for my loved ones, conscious of the presence of God within them. I let go of all concern or anxiety about each person by saying, “I bless you, knowing you are enfolded in divine loving care.” I pray that they stay attuned to their spiritual source, and that they feel the love of my prayers. The sacred activity of prayer clears my mind. I am confident that my loved ones are safe and secure, guided into their highest outcome. I am grateful for the presence of God moving through every person and every need.

Therefore … pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.–James 5:16

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

The mind of God enlightens me. I am wise, courageous, and confident.

On occasion I may feel unsure of the direction of my life and the choices I am making. When I become aware of the anxious or vulnerable feelings that accompany uncertainty, I pause. Even a brief pause helps reset my mind and opens it to greater possibilities. When the mental whirlwind has settled, my whole being is quiet and my mind is open to receive. In the mental space that I have cleared, Spirit’s guidance comes through. Like sunshine lighting the evening sky into morning, the mind of God enlightens me! In the quiet, I hear the wisdom that lies within my own inner recesses. I feel peaceful and accomplished knowing exactly what is mine to do.
Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God.—Romans 12:2

Let Go Let God Through Communication

I share a heart-and-soul connection with others.

T hrough social media and cell phones, we can connect with family and friends instantly. We inform and are informed as our feelings and understanding go out to others with the click of a “send” button. Still, communication doesn’t happen in a vacuum. It’s an activity between and among people. At its best, it is understood and relatable—a window into the lives of ourselves and others with new and unique vantages. Jesus was the master of communication, and the words he spoke resonated with others. His messages are as real for us today as they were for those who listened to him. I take my example from Jesus and use communication to share a heart-and-soul connection with others.
The reason I speak to them in parables is that “seeing they do not perceive, and hearing they do not listen, nor do they understand.”—Matthew 13:13

Let Go Let God Bless Fathers

God bless all fathers and fathers-to-be.

A beloved and often repeated prayer by individuals and in groups begins, “Our Father ...” There is both great responsibility and reward in playing the role of a father. Encouraging confidence in young ones calls for a parent to be present in all stages of children’s lives. Often it’s not until after years of being present—sometimes when kids think they are smarter than adults—that fathers are appreciated for their wisdom and devotion. A prayer is a powerful way to bless fathers: “God, bless fathers with all they need to be wise and loving parents.” And perhaps a prayer is even more immediate when a father or a father-to-be prays: “God, guide me in being a father that enriches the lives of my children.”
I will be a father to him, and he shall be a son to me. I will not take my steadfast love from him.—1 Chronicles 17:13

Let Go Let God with a Home Blessing

Love and peace reside in my home.

Entering my home gives me a sense of peace. My home is more than a shelter. It is a place where I feel comfortable and secure, where I think and plan, where I rest and relax. I want it to be a place that welcomes others and makes them feel comfortable. I give my home a blessing. With each thought and prayer, I create an environment that nourishes love, peace, and respect. I bless my home with these thoughts:
These walls are built with love. The windows allow the sun’s light to shine in and remind me that I, too, let light shine through me. Into each corner of every room, I send peace. Love resides here, creating warmth and inviting camaraderie and goodwill. All who enter its doors are welcome.

Whatever house you enter, first say, “Peace to this house!”—Luke 10:5

Let Go Let God with Faith

In every moment I draw upon the spiritual quality of faith.

A popular quote by Martin Luther King Jr. states, “Faith is taking the first step even when you don’t see the whole staircase.” This serves as a poignant reminder to remain courageous in every moment by drawing upon the spiritual quality of faith. I can create a morning ritual where the first thing I do is turn within to the presence of God and relax. My faith is activated when I remember that God will see me through. Quietly, I affirm to myself, “My way is made clear” and any sense of concern washes away. Aligned with spiritual principles, I begin my day in faith. No matter what the need is, I draw upon the spiritual quality of faith and my way is made clear.
If you do not doubt in your heart, but believe that what you say will come to pass, it will be done for you.—Mark 11:23

Let Go Let God in Prosperity

I give thanks to God as my source and supply.

When I rely on the outer world as the basis of my abundance, I can lapse into fear and uncertainty. When I remember that God is my unfailing and limitless resource, I experience peace of mind. A consciousness of God is the one true source of my good. My heart overflows with gratitude as I reflect on this reality. In Spirit, I have unlimited access to everything I need to live a fulfilling life. I cultivate an awareness of Infinite Spirit each day, continually enriching myself with divine ideas, unexpected gifts, and windfalls. I give thanks as my world expands exponentially in direct proportion to my ever-growing spiritual faith.
The Lord will open for you his rich storehouse, the heavens, to give the rain of your land in its season and to bless all your undertakings.—Deuteronomy 28:12

Let Go Let God be Energized

I am energized by play and creativity.

As I watch children at play, I may admire their energy—and wonder how or when I can join them. I recall times of play and imagination in my youth. I realize my energy isn’t gone—I’ve just lost touch with it! I set aside the busyness and concerns of my day. For a moment, even if only in my mind, I am at play. The explorer, the painter, the dancer who lives in my dreams brings a smile to my face. An imaginary kite soars as I run through fields of wild flowers. The blue of the sky is so vivid and the sun so bright. I feel divine energy flowing through me. I plan for times of play and creativity, knowing it energizes my thoughts and my body. Play is a priority!
Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.”—Matthew 19:14

Let Go Let God in Progress

I am on a never-ending journey of discovery.

If I were beginning to write about my spiritual journey, where would I start? What was it that sent me on my journey? Was it something I read or heard? In reality, my spiritual journey began before I took my first step in life. There is always an undeniable yearning of the created to connect wholly with the Creator. When I went on an inner journey, I realized that the spirit of God was at the core of my being. My journey did not end with this discovery. Every day I have 24 hours to live, move, and be as God’s love in expression. New and amazing realizations come to me as I continue to make progress on my never-ending journey of discovery.

Put these things into practice, devote yourself to them, so that all may see your progress.—1 Timothy 4:15

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

Every cell of my body is aglow with the light and life of God.

I believe in the healing power of God. I affirm this truth daily through my thoughts, words, and actions. My faith in God’s healing energy allows this energy to move in and through me. I open myself up to receive and I am restored to wholeness. If I am experiencing illness, I continue to affirm that I am one with God. In truth, my spirit is always whole, but as a human being I may experience dis-ease. I use affirmative prayer and meditation to help bring me back into balance with God. I focus my mind on the healing power of God and envision each cell of my body vibrant with light and life. I trust in the healing power of God. I speak and act in ways that demonstrate my faith, and I open myself up to experience wholeness.
Oh Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.—Psalm 30:2

Let Go Let God for World Peace

I envision all people building a world of peace on a foundation of love.

From my limited human perspective I may feel powerless as I consider the news of the world. The reality is this: I AM a channel through which divine energies of peace and love flow freely. I use the words I AM with care, because they are my spiritual identity, the name of God nature in me. So I joyfully claim and express those energies by affirming: I AM peace. Doing so, I contribute to the creative focus that will bring a world of peace and love into expression. Today I make a conscious choice to experience peace—even at the slightest appearance of conflict. I know the choices I make today will manifest themselves to the world in wonderful, transformative ways.

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.—Colossians 3:15

Let Go Let God with Joy

I let my innate joy bubble forth to bless and harmonize.

Today I choose joy. Regardless of outer influences, I maintain a joyful outlook and a cheery disposition. I know true joy from being in touch with the Christ of my being in prayer and quiet reflection. Joy is an aspect of my divine nature not dependent upon my successes, my acquisitions, or what other people do or say. I let my innate joy bubble forth to bless and harmonize. If disappointments interrupt my joy, I acknowledge my feelings and take whatever positive steps are needed. I activate my internal reset button to refocus and continue enjoying this day. Choosing joy brings peace and lifts my spirit as if sunshine just broke through the clouds after a nourishing and cleansing rain.
For you shall go out in joy, and be led back in peace.—Isaiah 55:12

Let Go Let God as Freedom

In the presence of pure being, I am free.

At times I may view my roles and responsibilities as restrictions or limits on my freedom. I watch the clock, eager for release to pursue my passions. In reality, freedom is a state of consciousness I can access at any time. I pause for a gentle breath, and feel my heart and mind align. My passion is to truly be my best self. I move into the presence of pure being and become aware of the light blazing within me. All roles that appeared to be masks I was hiding behind now disappear. Chains of responsibility that I thought bound me dissolve into a series of opportunities to shine. I revel in the consciousness that I am free to be all that I was created to be, whenever and wherever I choose.

When one turns to the Lord, the veil is removed.—2 Corinthians 3:16

Let Go Let God be Genuine

I allow my inner self to shine through.

The inner beauty of a wood surface is revealed when its unvarnished natural grain is allowed to express itself. I reveal my true self by letting grace reveal my genuine spirit. With a relaxed, spontaneous openness, I allow my inner light to shine in a perfectly natural way.The real me is enough for each day, for others, and for myself. I need add nothing to experience my self-worth. I simply reveal my genuine self. What makes me real is that I accept myself as a sacred expression of God. I remember that this spiritual core is my potential perfection. I never give up on myself. I am a genuine expression of my sacred self.
But those who do what is true come to the light, so that it may be clearly seen that their deeds have been done in God.—John 3:21

Let Go Let God Listen

I ask, listen, and follow the guidance I receive.

Each morning as I awake, even before I get out of bed, I take a few moments to listen. Sometimes I hear the early-morning songs of birds. Sometimes I hear the rustling of other early-morning risers. Other times, I simply hear the stillness, inviting me to turn within and listen. In these hushed early-morning times I attune to God, open to quiet whispers in my heart. I listen with my heart and with my mind, knowing that answers come in the perfect time and way. God may speak to me as a quiet nudging of my spirit, as words on a page that suddenly hold a new meaning, or as the wise voice of a trusted loved one. In whatever form my guidance comes, I remain open and receptive to the answers I seek.
He said to them, “Listen to this dream that I dreamed.”—Genesis 37:6

Let Go Let God Know Inner Peace

I attune to God at the center of my being, and I am serene.

During certain hours of daylight, an object will block the light of the sun so that the shadow looms larger than the object itself. Challenges are like that and can seem much greater than they really are. To put all in the right light—divine light—I keep my attention on God. I have a resource of serenity that overcomes everyday stresses. I am not inundated by negative thoughts of “what if?” I open my mind to divine wisdom and make decisions that are best. I can always rethink a situation and make corrections in my plans and actions. This keeps me active and moving forward. I have faith in God and know that I will come through challenges whole and peace-filled.
By the tender mercy of our God, the dawn from on high will break upon us ... To guide our feet into the way of peace.—Luke 1:78, 79

Let Go Let God with Wonderment

Life is a wonder, and my heart is full of awe and gratitude.

Poet James Dillet Freeman wrote, “I have been alone under the sky when suddenly I was one with all the beauty and wonder and glory of the world. The sky was not high enough, the horizons were not wide enough to hold my heart.” My intention today is to recognize beauty and goodness, to be in awe of God’s creation. Whether walking on a crowded sidewalk or strolling along a country lane, I look for signs and wonders. The dandelion poking through a tiny crack in a sea of concrete represents the power of life in all things. The wheat growing in a field will become bread to feed the multitudes. Life truly is a wonder, and my heart is full of gratitude and awe.
God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good.—Genesis 1:31

Let Go, Let God

In the Silence, I feel the presence and peace of God.

Jesus went to the mountaintop to pray. He left the crowds and his disciples to be fully present in the Silence. My mountaintop retreat may be symbolic as I seek time apart. Whether in a chapel, a favorite chair, or quiet moments carved out from a hectic schedule, I spend time in silent communion with God. In the Silence, I turn within to a private meeting place. In this inner chamber, away from outer distractions, I pray, meditate, and listen. I am open and receptive to the still, small voice, to inspiration, to divine direction. Here in sacred oneness, I feel the assurance and peace of God. I relax my body, gently set aside my concerns, focus on my breathing, and allow myself to be enfolded in divine love. In the Silence, there is peace as I let go and let God.
He went up the mountain by himself to pray. When evening came, he was there alone.—Matthew 14:23

Let Go Let God through the Seasons of Life

I go through and grow through the seasons of life.

Some areas of the world enjoy seasonal weather, with spring giving way to summer, then fall and winter. During these times, trees and foliage reflect these various stages. I, too, am moving onward, my life and body reflecting the natural progressions of my journey. Physically, the springtime of youth gives way to adulthood and eventually to the wisdom that comes with age. Mentally, I may feel still and dormant, yet other times fresh and energetic. Through it all, my inner growth prepares the way for my outer achievements. I am continually moving forward, growing and learning as I go. I go through and grow through the seasons of life.

For everything there is a season, and a time for every matter under heaven.—Ecclesiastes 3:1

Let Go Let God in Relationships

In all of my relationships, I am a living, loving example of the Christ nature.

Every person in my life, past, present, and future, is a precious gift more valuable than any human currency. My life has been blessed by seeming angels of God in human form. I am uplifted, encouraged, and inspired. I model that behavior by reflecting kindness, compassion, and love in all of my relationships. I am a living, loving example of the Christ nature. I see the wisdom and goodness in those who I engage in a relationship with. I model love and acceptance, and forgive freely. With a willing heart, I give of my time, talent, and treasures to those in need. To the God of my being, I am eternally grateful for the opportunity to bless and be blessed through rich relationships.
Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind.—1 Peter 3:8

Let Go Let God in Mind, Body, Spirit

My mind, body, and spirit act as one powerful force for good.

My mind thinks thoughts of fear and limitation or love and possibility; my body responds to its environment within and without; and my spirit permeates all that comprises me. My mind, body, and spirit are in constant communication with one another. If I feel discomfort in my body, I find physical comfort by mentally affirming health and vitality, and the divine in me responds. The body contains the wisdom of Spirit and by listening to its expressions, I can glean helpful information. When I am unsure of my body’s message, I breathe into the sensation and ask it what it is trying to say. With deep appreciation, I listen to my mind, body, and spirit.
If then your whole body is full of light, with no part of it in darkness, it will be as full of light as when a lamp gives you light with its rays.—Luke 11:36
