I act and react from a place of love.
One
of my heart’s deepest longings is for loving relationships. My heart
wants to give and receive love. Nothing is more congruent with my true
essence than letting love pour through me. So if I am tempted to
blame myself or another person for perceived wrongs, I ask myself, Is
this how love reacts? I release these burdens and meet the situation
with a pure heart. Eric Butterworth suggests, “Let the human part of you
merge so completely into the Divine that you are not conscious of any
necessity to forgive.” In forgiving, I merge with the Christ light
within, living and moving from a place of pure love.
Whenever
you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so
that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.—Mark
11:25
