Let Go Let God Open to Forgiveness

Forgiveness opens a place in my heart for peace and love.

Forgiveness is a powerful expression of love. When I forgive someone, I begin with a simple desire to overcome resentment. I choose to let go of ill will or bitterness toward another person. Forgiveness does not condone or overlook the behavior that initiated the upset to begin with. It does, however, unshackle me from negative feelings. It also keeps me from living my life in blame. I am the one who is set free. I no longer need to justify my rationale for holding another liable for my pain. I feel God’s blessing as I replace seemingly justified resentment with forgiveness. I have opened a place in my heart for the full expression of peace and love.
Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.—Luke 23:34

Let Go Let God as a Role Model

I give thanks for the role models in my life.

There may have been many family members, teachers, and mentors who have left an impact in my life, and I consider them to be valuable role models. When I think of these people, I think of the ways they have supported, encouraged, and inspired me. I am grateful for all that they have done to help me become the person I am today. But have I thought about myself as a role model? Each day, I have the capacity to make a difference in the lives of others. Each day, I can be a role model as a parent or family member, a coworker and friend, and through the ways in which I demonstrate my faith in God. I value these opportunities and give thanks for those who have been role models for me.

Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.—1 Peter 4:10

Let Go Let God Celebrate Graduation

Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

Students completing academic achievements must surely feel a sense of accomplishment and anticipation. As commencement speeches have or will remind them: Today is the first day of the rest of your life. I reflect on the truth of this statement in my own life. I bring to mind the graduations I have experienced both within and outside of classroom settings. Each experience has strengthened my faith and brought with it the guidance to live my best life. Just as I have gained in worldly wisdom, I have gained spiritual wisdom. Spiritual practices and studies allow me to graduate from one level of understanding to a higher level. I am enriched by wisdom. Today is the first day of the rest of my life!

But truly it is the spirit in a mortal, the breath of the Almighty, that makes for understanding.—Job 32:8

Let Go Let God in Remembrance

I remember with love all who have come before me.

In the United States, today is an opportunity to acknowledge those who died in service to our country. This can be a bittersweet day, but as we recall the good times, our hearts are lifted. At any time and wherever we may be, we can share poignant memories with younger family members, of those who are no longer on this earthly plane that continue to live in us and through us. Our memories are more than mental monuments. As we pay homage to loved ones, we revive the feelings of family and unity. We know there is no separation in spirit. We are united in a spirit of oneness that can never be divided. As we live in the present, we prepare for a future of loving expression and fulfillment.
If one member is honored, all rejoice together with it.—1 Corinthians 12:26

Let Go Let God through Wholeness

I choose to live this day as a whole and complete experience.

My mortal mind may be eager to focus on perceptions of lack, creating shadows across the energy of the day. Yet what a gift it is to realize that this day is whole and complete, waiting for me to discover it and appreciate its unique energy! I am one with the essence of love and abundance that is my experience of the Divine. Anything that may seem to be missing is merely an illusion born of my limited human perception. Today I affirm wholeness in everyone and everything I encounter. Through my perceptions of wholeness, I feel and express the fullness of the Spirit I truly am. I choose to live this day as a whole and complete experience.

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.—Psalm 118:24

Let Go Let God with Creativity

Divine creativity is alive in me!

It is easy to appreciate the amount of creativity it takes to produce a work of art. That level of inspiration is also available to me as I plan my day. I am innately creative! From what I will eat to planning what I want to accomplish, I embrace it all as an exercise in using the power of my imagination to consciously create my life. I look for new ways to express my unique abilities. Maybe I will expand my vocabulary by writing notes of appreciation to people who inspire me. I might explore the culinary arts and create a new menu of food selections that celebrate health and wholeness. I may even learn to paint! Whatever I do, I claim the power of divine creativity as my own to make the world a better place.
Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.—Proverbs 4:23

Let Go Let God as Children's Blessings

Children are among our greatest blessings.

Each of us is born in absolute purity. We grow, we see and learn, and we are in a constant state of wonder. One of the greatest blessings we can receive from children is to witness their awe as they discover the world in which they live. Jesus encouraged us to be as little children—to live in faith and fascination and childlike innocence. Children remind me of what is truly important: love, laughter, openness, acceptance, and delight. I live my life much more richly and fully as I remember to approach all my circumstances with the freshness and excitement of a child. Life is a wonder, and children are among our greatest blessings.
Let the little children come to me, and do not stop them; for it is to such as these that the kingdom of heaven belongs.—Matthew 19:14

Let Go Let God be Comfort

The comfort I seek comes from within.

In times of need, I don’t have to feel that I am doing it alone. I hold to the truth that peace is within me even when I am not consciously aware of it. My heart may feel heavy but my spirit remains light. This is the truth of my being. There is a divine thread that runs through the tapestry of life. Something that seems wrong may well turn out to be a great blessing in the end. Appearances are not always what they seem. It helps me to remember this when I feel lost. I remain peaceful in my awareness of my divine nature. I need only to trust. If I feel anxious about loved ones or troubling world events, I trust. The truth is that there is only good. I hold to this belief and I am at peace.
Comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word.—2 Thessalonians 2:17

Let Go Let God as Faith in Action

I am faith in action.

My faith calls me to believe that divine spirit is expressing life and wisdom through me. I answer that call by opening wide the window of my soul and living life in the fullness of joy and faith. My thoughts are previews of the good that is possible. In faith, I know the best is yet to be. My words are expressions of positivity. They set an expectation that encourages me and those around me to be contributors to the good that is unfolding. My actions demonstrate my faith at work through me—what I say and do. My invisible thoughts and prayers as well as perceptible words and actions confirm my faith that divine love is expressing through me. I am faith in action.

For everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.—1 John 5:4

Let Go, Let God

Through prayer, I shift my awareness from separation to oneness.

There is one power and one presence active in the universe and in my life, God the good, omnipotent. If I understand this concept of oneness, then it follows that I am an expression of the Divine. So when I pray, I do so from the awareness of my divine identity. My prayers are not to change the world, but to change my understanding of it. I remove my attention from the outer world and center on spiritual wisdom. I release worry and any sense of separation. I affirm unconditional love and let God be the universal good unfolding in my life. As my thoughts are transformed, I am renewed in understanding faith.
And while he was praying, the appearance of his face changed, and his clothes became dazzling white.—Luke 9:29

Let Go Let God with Encouragement

I inspire and uplift others through my thoughtful words and gestures.

Looking back, I may recall a time in my life when I was encouraged by a favorite teacher or friend. I have that ability as well. The words I speak to others have the potential to inspire and uplift, for words carry positive energy. Even a nod of the head or a warm smile radiates a harmonious vibration that affects others in a positive way. It is an honor and a great responsibility to hold a high vision for the lives of others and encourage them through empowering words and kind gestures. I feel a sense of great contribution to the world, knowing that I am influencing others in a positive way. I inspire and uplift others through my thoughtful words and gestures.

May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.—Romans 15:5

Let Go Let God be Divine Expression

In Truth I cannot fail.

My divine nature—the truth of who I am—is not simply a presence within me. It is the very essence of every cell in my body, every thought in my mind. A sense of failure in any undertaking is a fear-based thought in my mortal mind. It has no reality in spiritual Truth. Whatever the appearance may be, there is always a lesson, a spiritual awareness that will support and encourage me as I make future choices. As long as I remember to claim the good in every choice I make, there can be no failure in my life experience. Today I welcome every opportunity to make a creative choice that perfectly expresses my true spiritual self.
For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of Spirit.—Romans 8:5

Let Go Let God Experience Freedom

I am free to live my divine potential.

I appreciate people who help me and inspire me. However, the source of my strength comes from within. I remember that I am infinite potential. I free myself of false notions of lack, disease, and separation. Instead, I joyfully embrace the divine ideas of plenty, wholeness, and oneness. I replace the mistaken belief that anyone or anything has power over me with the truth: The power and authority to accept or reject anything is within me. I am free through the spirit of God that expresses as me. I am free to be all that I am intended to be. My freedom has a purpose, which is to live unbound by anyone or anything.
It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery.—Galatians 5:1

Let Go Let God as One Life

One Life heals the world.

I prepare for my time of prayer by centering myself in the awareness of my divine essence. Prayer turns my attention away from the conditions in the world and guides my focus toward a deeper truth. The One Life, which gives rise to all life, is active in me and in all others. This activity has the power to heal. Healing flows through me to heal my body, my relationships, and my affairs. As I consider the appearance of disease, lack, and discord in loved ones and in the world, I call upon the activity of that One Life. I see this perfect life shining through each individual and situation I hold in prayer. With an increased awareness of the power of divine life, I affirm the healing activity already unfolding. One Life heals the world.

For with you is the fountain of life; in your light we see light.—Psalm 36:9

Let Go Let God in Divine Order

My life is in divine order.

I affirm divine order every day, many times a day. My affirmations do not make things magically happen. Rather, the words keep me focused on the truth of natural order. From this awareness, I remain in a place of inner calmness and peace despite outer conditions. This is no guarantee that life will be without challenges at times. But it means that if a challenge presents itself, I am able to call upon my inner powers of faith and wisdom. I affirm divine order and know that I have the power to reinterpret any negative appearance in my life. I affirm and know that whatever happens, there will be a blessing. With my positive affirmations, I invite positive energy and abundant blessings into my life and the lives of others. I AM divine order!
All things should be done decently and in order.—1 Corinthians 14:40

Let Go Let God for World Peace

I am grateful for the power of peace within all people.

All people are the essence of God, and I am grateful that every person has the potential for peace. I give thanks for the opportunity to practice and experience serenity, creating my own sense of peace in my world. When I live from serenity, I contribute to the world at large, increasing positivity for all living beings and inspiring others to do the same. Divine harmony unites all human beings as one in God. I work to heal any grievances within my own heart and to release negative thoughts and feelings. I forgive myself and others. Through prayer and meditation, I consciously connect with the peace within and utilize the power of harmony. I am grateful for the power of peace within all people.

On that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you.—John 14:20

Let Go Let God Allow Prosperity

I allow God’s infinite abundance to flow through me.

Spiritual prosperity is like electricity that powers a light. When I flip the switch off and the light goes away, the electricity is still present, flowing out of my sight. I have simply cut off the current so it cannot light the bulb. I can also turn off and block the flow of abundance from manifesting in my life; nevertheless, the abundant supply still exists, always. My oneness with God gives me unlimited access to an infinite source. I can turn within and consciously connect with the truth of Spirit’s unfailing supply. I take care to think, speak, and act in ways that reflect divine abundance. By doing so, I ensure that the switch is flipped on. The essence of Spirit’s abundance moves in and through me.
And my God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.–Philippians 4:19

Let Go Let God Respond in Healing

My body responds to the flow of divine energy within me.

As a spiritual being, health and wholeness is my birthright. Yet in my human experience, a health challenge may arise. During those times, through my highest thoughts and prayers, I tap into a wellspring of healing power that radiates from deep within my being. I achieve conscious union with the spiritual essence of wholeness as I affirm: I am in the flow of divine healing energy. Through the activity of my prayers, I relax into a sense of well-being. I unleash a pattern of wholeness that blesses my body temple in magnificent ways. Vitality and well-being are activated as the life of God that I AM. My body responds to the flow of divine energy within me.

For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself.—John 5:26

Let Go Let God with Motherly Love

I express gratitude for the many channels through which motherly love flows.

On this day devoted to appreciating mothers, I find it helpful to expand this energy to include the many channels through which motherly love flows into my life. Whatever my gender or personal history, motherly love is an intimate and important power in my life. It enfolds me as divine presence, and it flows to me through many channels. I experience motherly love as more than simply a warm, pleasant feeling. Today I recognize its tremendous power in my life, expressing as guidance, understanding, and creative energy. I honor that maternal presence as I welcome every opportunity to share it with others. I express gratitude for the many channels through which motherly love flows.

As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you.—Isaiah 66:13

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

Divine light illumines my path.

When I travel to a new destination, I receive greater insight when I use a tour guide to help me see points of interest. In a similar way, I trust my inner guidance as I travel through life. I rely on the wisdom of the indwelling spirit to direct me. As I turn within in times of doubt or decision, I have faith that I will head naturally toward my good. How do I know that my guidance is from my divine nature? Because I experience peace and a sense of calm. I feel confident that I am moving in the right direction, even if the path does not seem evident. With God as the eternal light within me, I know I am on the path that is right for me.
May the Lord direct your hearts to the love of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.—2 Thessalonians 3:5

Let Go Let God in Unity

The unity I see reflects the balance in my life.

To realize unity in the world, I must first create unity inside myself. My anger sends out ripples of anger; fear generates waves of fear. Peace and joy radiate outward too! Feelings and emotions are contagious—we all catch and spread them along. I am a creator of unity. When someone angers or hurts me, I have the bravery to look inside and see where similar behavior exists in me. Once I understand that I could be the cause of hurt or anger in others, I choose peace. I choose love and unity. My decision to connect consciously with what I am contributing to the world affects others. One choice at a time, I create waves of unity others can feel, thus inspiring them to make waves of their own!
I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one.—John 17:23

Let Go Let God as Inner Peace

Peace is the nature of my being.

If I feel anxious, I address my heart with loving words and the stresses of life fall away. By blessing my body, my whole being—body, mind, and spirit—settles into relaxation and ease. When I recognize and appreciate the miracle that I am, peace fills me. My thoughts turn to peace—peace within me, peace as me. When I turn within and become quiet, I see peace shining from deep within me. No matter what challenges may loom before me, I remember that peace is never more than one breath away. In the silence of my heart, I know love and peace are my essence, the truth of my nature. Peace warms my heart and guides my actions. Peace is the nature of my being.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.—Colossians 3:15

Let Go Let God with Optimism

I meet each day with a positive outlook and a grateful heart.

There is an axiom that it takes more facial muscles to frown than to smile. Whether or not that statement is true, it reminds me of the benefit of being positive rather than negative in any situation. I can do that by focusing on blessings rather than adversities and maintaining a grateful heart. I can choose to focus on what I have, rather than what I do not have. I give thanks for my family and friends and how they have enhanced my life. I am grateful for the beauty of nature and the promise of a new day. I am blessed by my body and its amazing functions. With a focus on positives in my life, I am optimistic and confident. I meet each day with a positive outlook and a grateful heart.

For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to you.—Psalm 26:3

Let Go Let God with Wisdom

Inner wisdom guides my way.

Throughout my life’s journey, I am constantly developing healthy and vibrant relationships with others. Yet I may make mistakes along the way. It has been said that wisdom comes from learning; learning comes from experience; experience comes from mistakes. That may be conventional wisdom, but there is a greater wisdom that I can tap into at any time. When facing a challenge or opportunity about which I must make a decision, I immediately call upon my higher wisdom. I engage this wisdom with my faith, my positive expectancy, and my quiet mind. I do not need to know every step of the way ahead of time. I trust my inner knowing and proceed with confidence and clarity.
For wisdom will come into your heart, and knowledge will be pleasant to your soul.—Proverbs 2:10

Let Go Let God as Personal Growth

I am ready for new discoveries and accomplishments!

I am responsible for being me. I accept this responsibility by embracing who I am. True, I have a physical identity, but more than that, I am a spiritual being. Spirit within is my unending source of wisdom and strength. In every moment of life, my inner being of holiness completes me as a whole person. Limitless opportunities are before me. Age, economy, gender do not hold me back. With a willingness to explore, I try new endeavors. I step out in faith on new pathways. I say yes to moving beyond my comfort zone to discover and express my talents and abilities. I feel at ease as I connect with others, which draws me to new, interesting people. All the while, I am guided and supported by my divine nature.

So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!—2 Corinthians 5:17

Let Go Let God Help Others

I am grateful today for every opportunity to be of service to others.

Again and again in his earthly ministry, Jesus called us to have faith—the faith of a child, faith as small as a mustard seed. We may assume that it’s only with enough faith we can do the work that is ours to do. Today I recognize that quite the opposite is true! By reaching out, extending love, and helping others in their human experiences, my faith grows. Belief becomes easy when I can clearly see the spiritual power my actions create! My choice, then, is not a blind faith but a perceptive faith. I recognize the good I can create in the world and I strengthen my faith through the actions I choose.
Give and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you give will be the measure you get back.—Luke 6:38

Let Go Let God in Joy

I am continuously renewed by my joyful spirit.

I experience joy as my heart’s inner jewel. It has its source in a diffusion of light that will never give out—my inner radiance of being. Unlike happiness, which may come and go depending on circumstances and moods, my inner joy constantly shines forth from within my heart. Just as a jewel expresses through a seemingly infinite number of facets, there is no limit to the expressions through which I can demonstrate this inner joy. Every circumstance of life is my opportunity to experience deep soul satisfaction. I can activate this light at any time I choose. Yes, joy is my decision. I allow its brilliance to shine forth into greater and more satisfying expressions of God’s goodness.
I speak these things in the world so that they may have my joy made complete in themselves.—John 17:13

Let Go Let God in the Spirit of Goodwill

My spirit of goodwill blesses the world.

Ancient mythological alchemists were said to have altered base metals into pure gold. I have that same transformative power within me as I give expression to my good heart. Even the most base circumstances of life are converted into pure God-light as I give voice to my heart’s desire for good. I have a good heart. Moreover, I am the expression of my good heart. As I feel my physical heart beating within my chest, I am reminded that there is a constant rhythmic expression within me—pure, infinite love. What my heart really wants is the highest good and greatest joy for all as I let my every expression be for good. My power of divine love ripples out, making a positive difference in my world.
When the ways of people please the Lord, he causes even their enemies to be at peace with them.—Proverbs 16:7

Let Go Let God as Prayer

I am lifted up when I pray.

Prayer is a sacred, holy experience. It is a gift for me when I devote time to praying. Each moment I spend in prayer strengthens my connection to the spirit of God within me. The peace and calm that comes from praying shows in everything I say and do. When I pray, I am one with the love, the life, the presence that is infinite and eternal. When I pray for another person, I see my prayers giving them courage and peace. It gives me a sense of joy to bless others and the world. When I pray and meditate, I am elevated to a higher state. This is all I need to do. In prayer, I have found release. Now Spirit will do its perfect work. Centered in this awareness, I feel divine love fill me and flow from me.
Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.—Matthew 21:22

Let Go Let God through Friendship

My friends are the family I choose.
I have a family, linked by genetics, whom I love. I also have another family—the family of friends that fill my life with beauty and joy. I cherish this chosen family as much as the one I grew up with. Being included in a family circle of friendship is an honor. I have a support group to rejoice with during happy times and to lift me up in challenging times. I know that to have a friend I must first be a friend, so I make an effort to be that person someone can turn to in times of joy or sorrow. I share my loving spirit with others. I am with my friends to hold a hand in comfort or to give a hug in celebration. I am linked with friends in a spirit of love and support. My friends are the family I choose.

Some friends play at friendship but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.—Proverbs 18:24

Let Go Let God in Gratitude & Gratefulness

I am grateful to be a manifestation of the divine spark.

When I look at my surroundings, I see the manifestation of the divine spark everywhere—in everything and everyone. God’s spirit is part of who I am as well. I have the joy and gratitude of knowing that I am eternally part of something greater. I am a spiritual being. I am happy to be alive, to have this chance to walk with joy through my life. My heart and mind are full of love and kindness. It makes me eager to share this inner happiness and compassion with other people. Because I am a spiritual being, blessings flow from me in all directions even when I am not aware of it. God’s presence, working in and through me, enables me to do wonderful things. My heart sings a song of gratitude for this awareness and I am at peace.
I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made.—Psalm 139:14
