Let Go Let God Be Divine Expressions

I choose to be a greater expression of the Divine.

I am an expression of the peace of God—the peace that surpasses all understanding. The same holds true for every living being. Divine love surrounds us. Divine power protects us. Divine presence watches over us. The Divine is here, moving in us, through us, as us, into expression in our lives and out into the world. When we recognize this truth, we open the way for new possibilities in our lives—possibilites for who and what we are as divine children of the living, loving God. We have within us innate gifts—all happiness, peace, and joy—to create a world of beauty and abundance for all to enjoy. I choose to be a greater expression of the Divine.
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and put a new and right spirit within me.—Psalm 51:10

Let Go Let God Accept World Peace

I walk in harmony and acceptance with all beings.

These words by Sufi poet Rumi speak to a sense of oneness and harmony among all beings: “Out beyond ideas of right doing and wrongdoing, there is a field. I’ll meet you there.” When news from throughout the world seems less than harmonious, I reaffirm to myself that peace is possible. In a quiet, prayerful moment, I affirm words of truth: One with all beings, I radiate peace to the world. I let these tranquil words sink deeply into my being and reflect on what they mean to me. I completely embody peace, for peace is my true nature. I am one with all beings. My peaceful thoughts, words, and actions support my relationships with all people and help to create a world that works for everyone.
Finally, beloved ... if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.—Philippians 4:8

Let Go Let God through Awakening

I awaken to the glory of my divine nature.

When I make prayer an important practice in my life, I connect regularly with my true nature. I remain awake to my inner divinity and greet each day with confidence. Daily I grow and open to the goodness that is unfolding in my life. I have the courage to follow my dreams. At times in my life, my spirit might fall asleep to the glory within, which is my own sacredness and divinity. Then I experience events that leave me wondering why or even cause me to doubt my strength or faith. These are the times when my resilient spirit brings me back to my identity as a spiritual being, filled with power and strength to meet and rise above any challenge.

Then Jacob woke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place—and I did not know it!”—Genesis 28:16

Let Go Let God Affirm Healing

I am renewed in mind, body, and spirit by the healing power of God within.

When Myrtle Fillmore came to her realization that as a whole and perfect child of God she could not possibly “inherit” sickness, her thinking immediately transformed. The complete physical expression of her healing did not occur at once, however. It required a process of renewal. Through prayer and meditation she aligned herself with the wholeness she had discovered and affirmed within herself. She understood that the healing power of God expressed as a process of renewal. I know this Truth for myself as well. If I am aligned with my inner Spirit, I can know that any healing—in whatever form it takes—is assured. I trust in the process of renewal that is at work within me.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”—Luke 8:48

Let Go Let God in Affirmative Prayer

I am a healing presence in the world.

I am the essence of Spirit. I acknowledge the power of divine life flowing through me as I open myself to being more of who I was created to be. My words in prayer declare the truth of my being and create a path of unlimited expression in the world. I am peace. I am love. I am wisdom. I recognize that showing up in daily life as peace, love, and wisdom makes a difference. Being love in expression comforts those around me. Becoming still and allowing the wisdom of Spirit to flow through me provides needed guidance. I pray that I might be the light of the world, uplifting others and upholding their intentions. I am a healing presence in the world.
And this is my prayer, that your love may overflow more and more with knowledge and full insight.—Philippians 1:9

Let Go Let God in Appreciation

My heart is filled with appreciation for the people in my life.

The Christ spirit of love, compassion, and patience is active in each person. These qualities expressed outwardly bring grace and harmony. As I think of the individuals in my life, I acknowledge those who demonstrate these attributes and the ways in which they add grace to my days. Their presence is a comfort. I am grateful for the small gestures of kindness they show me and the large tasks they take on. In prayerful contemplation, I bring to mind all of the individuals who bless me. I consider family members, coworkers, and friends. I choose this day to outwardly express my thanks by affirming: My heart is filled with appreciation for the people in my life.
So if I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash one another’s feet.—John 13:14

Let Go Let God as Signs & Wonders

I see the mystery and majesty of Spirit all around.

In areas of the world where seasons occur, the signs of change are obvious: the first purple bud pushing through melting snow; the first firefly in the warming night; the first colored leaf to fall. In every season I see the mystery and majesty of Spirit. I am awed by life in a baby’s laughter and an elder’s wisdom. I reflect that I am a unique expression of Spirit as I gaze upon the vast universe splayed across the starry sky. The earth has changed during eons of time with the creative power and love of God presented over and over. No matter how much humans discover, there is more we do not know and places only faith can take us. Spirit reveals what I need to know. I am at peace in the mystery of creation.
Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in splendor, doing wonders?—Exodus 15:11

Let Go Let God as a Caregiver

I treat all living beings with love and kindness.

Mother Teresa, one of the most notable caregivers of all time, is credited with saying, “It’s not how much we give but how much love we put into giving.” If I am able to give from love, then I can serve as a caregiver. Even if I am not caring for the needs of others by protecting their health and well-being, I act as a caregiver when I treat all living beings gently and kindly. I take advantage of the opportunities to embody the role of a caregiver that exist throughout my day. Whether I perform small acts of kindness such as holding the door open for someone or volunteer my time to help animals in need, I am actively caring for others. I infuse unconditional love into my interactions as I care for others.
Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.—Philippians 2:4

Let Go Let God as an Earth Blessing

I live in harmony with the earth.

In 2004 Wangari Maathai was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for her work in Kenya through the Green Belt Movement. In her acceptance lecture she said, “We are called to assist the earth to heal her wounds and in the process heal our own—indeed, to embrace the whole creation in all its diversity, beauty, and wonder.” I am part of a beautiful web of life; intricately woven so that my actions impact the entire web. I am a good steward of the earth’s resources as I am a good steward of my own body. Centered in divine wisdom, I use what I need in ways that support the renewal of the earth. I experience a sense of peace living in harmony with the earth.
The earth brought forth vegetation: plants yielding seed of every kind, and trees of every kind bearing fruit with the seed in it. And God saw that it was good.—Genesis 1:12

Let Go Let God Express Inner Peace

I express the peace and love of my Christ spirit.

I make a conscious choice to be calm and centered. In this way, I open my heart to the constancy and serenity of the Christ spirit within my soul. Inner peace places me in a state of mind that is far from a passive state. I exercise my focused will by generating a steady stream of peace. I am inwardly peaceful even when difficulties are happening. I begin by asking myself, What is preventing me from experiencing peace right now? As I examine any false attitudes or beliefs that I uncover, I then ask, How can I look at this differently? Taking a few deep breaths, I cleanse myself of any anxiety I may have been feeling. I then move into the space of my core self, the Christ spirit within. Doing so, I choose peace.
And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 4:7

Let Go Let God Be Authentic

I am an authentic, divine expression.

My certificate of spiritual authenticity was verified the moment I was born. There is nothing I need to do or be to gain God’s approval or grace. The very source of my being is of God. As I allow my authentic nature to shine forward, I act as the light of God in this world. I remain vigilant in contemplating my true nature through daily meditation on my divine essence. Molding to the expectations of others can feel as though I am diminishing my light. Holding my head high, speaking and acting on my truth, I let my light shine. I affirm my innate passions and spiritual gifts are ways in which I serve. I focus on sharing these gifts knowing that I am an authentic expression of God.
Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness.”—Genesis 1:26

Let Go Let God with Balance

I nurture all aspects of my being and live a balanced life.

Many different aspects make up my life, including my family, work, hobbies, and spiritual practices. Every day I consciously make an effort to prioritize self-care and tend to my emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual needs. In that way, I meet my daily obligations balanced and whole. From this place of balance, I am able to give my best self to every part of my life. If I start to neglect certain parts of myself, I turn to God within. When I nurture every attribute of my being, I will once again experience a greater sense of harmony with emotions, thoughts, and experiences. I nurture all aspects of my being and live a balanced life.

He has told you, O mortal, what is good; and what does the Lord require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?—Micah 6:8

Let Go Let God Embrace Joy

I embrace the opportunity to radiate joy today!

Joy is more than just a feeling; it’s an emanation. As we experience joy, divine energy radiates from inside of us to the world in tangible ways that others can feel. Choosing to be joyous allows me to see that perfection exists, even when things appear less than perfect. As I awaken, I rejoice at the fact that I am alive today, and I make a conscious choice to be joyous. If I find myself challenged in a task, I celebrate the opportunity to improve. I find the blessings that lead to something better. If I feel out of sorts, I allow myself to locate the source of my discomfort. I take time to integrate the lesson this discord is there to teach, and I claim joy in the learning process. I feel joy in the opportunity!
I will greatly rejoice in the Lord, my whole being shall exult in my God.—Isaiah 61:10

Let Go, Let God

I live, move, and have my being in the spirit of God.

I live in the spirit of answered prayer. If I have a question in mind and heart or have a need that concerns me, I give thanks that divine life is the answer to every question. Then, as I sleep, rise, and live through my day, I let go. I release concerns knowing that my right answer is emerging in time and with grace and peace. Letting go requires that I no longer hold on to my problem out of doubt or fear. As I exercise this new kind of faith, I release any worry or concern and know that my needs are met in a divinely ordered way. My life flows with ease. I go forward with confidence to meet my perfect solution, and my right answer comes rushing forth to greet me. I live, move, and have my being in the spirit of God.

You are indeed my rock and my fortress; for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.—Psalm 31:3

Let Go Let God Rely on Guidance

I seek the guidance of Spirit, and I move forward confidently.

There are times in life I walk ahead with absolute confidence. There are also times I might feel adrift when considering my next step. During those times, I rely on the Truth that God is all, and I am a part of that Allness. As such, I have absolute faith I am never further away from the guidance of Spirit than the simple act of returning my attention to Truth. I may be human, but I am also divine. My human eyes might see separation or lack, but when I look through the eyes of Spirit, I see Truth. I see possibility and unity, and I see the path ahead with clarity. I know what is mine to do, and I move forward with courage and conviction.
I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will counsel you with my eye upon you.—Psalm 32:8

Let Go Let God Choose Prosperity

I am open to divine ideas.

Divine ideas are like seeds of hope planted in my heart. When they are properly nurtured and tended, they produce the manifestations in my life that represent abundance and prosperity to my own mind and soul. I might be surprised at some of the ideas that pop into my mind and might not see how they could possibly come about. Being open to divine ideas involves a large degree of surrender to the Source of those ideas within me. My prosperity is not dependent on my limited mortal mind. I make the choice for prosperity, open my mind to divine ideas, and allow them to guide me to next steps and new possibilities.
Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.—3 John 1:2

Let Go Let God With Faith

My desire for something greater is fueled by my faith in unlimited possibilities.

New Thought pioneer H. Emilie Cady once wrote, “Desire in the heart is always God tapping at the door of your consciousness with ... infinite supply—a supply which is forever useless unless there be a demand for it.” When I desire to reach a goal, I do so with faith that divine life is tapping at the door of my consciousness, urging me onward and upward to my highest good. I release worries or concerns. Instead, I celebrate the feeling of certainty that comes with the knowledge that all I could ever need for life I already have as a whole, spiritual being. I follow where divine inspiration leads. My desire for something greater is fueled by my faith in unlimited possibilities.
Do you not say, “Four months more, then comes the harvest?” But I tell you, look around you, and see how the fields are ripe for harvesting.—John 4:35

Let Go Let God Be Free

I am free to respond affirmatively to God’s constant outpouring of sustenance.

God has placed within my heart the power to choose life. I am free to choose the path of love. I am free to remember that the very light of Christ reigns in my heart. Although I may sometimes lose sight of the glory in my soul, Jesus’ invitation is always before me to behold the light of the Christ within my heart—and within each person’s heart. Even when I am facing challenges that seem insurmountable, I am free to spend a few minutes in quietude and remind myself that all that God is lies within me. God’s steadfast help is always available and nothing can take away my ability to respond affirmatively with a wholehearted “Yes!”
Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.—2 Corinthians 3:17

Let Go Let God in Wholeness

I am a being of divine energy. I am centered and whole.

I am a being of energy—filled with abundant life. I am whole in mind, body, and spirit. Even though I know the truth about my spiritual power, there are times when I lose touch with this energy. If ever I feel my power ebbing, I recharge my spiritual batteries through prayer. As I center myself, I am transported into a peaceful, restful place where I become more aware of the pure life energy flowing through my body. Here I reconnect with my Source of life and energy. My mind and heart open to the idea of wholeness and to the truth that no matter where I am or what I am doing, I am one with my Source. I am centered and whole.
But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.—Isaiah 40:31

Let Go Let God all is in Divine Order

A higher order is unfolding in my life.

Whenever I wonder whether divine order is at work, I need only consider nature. The changing of the seasons, the rising of the sun after the darkness of night, and the springing forth of seeds into flowers and plants are all examples. Nature follows a pattern of order and so does my life. I pray by affirming the truth: A higher order is unfolding in my life. I begin to feel a sense of peace. As my thoughts align with God-Mind, I tap into divine ideas that support me in creating my highest good. Like a sunflower reaching to the sun, I turn within to the light of God that nourishes and sustains me. I begin to express more fully the divine qualities of Spirit. I joyfully celebrate divine order in my life. A higher order is unfolding in my life.
The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head.—Mark 4:28

Let Go Let God Forgive

I act and react from a place of love.

One of my heart’s deepest longings is for loving relationships. My heart wants to give and receive love. Nothing is more congruent with my true essence than letting love pour through me. So if I am tempted to blame myself or another person for perceived wrongs, I ask myself, Is this how love reacts? I release these burdens and meet the situation with a pure heart. Eric Butterworth suggests, “Let the human part of you merge so completely into the Divine that you are not conscious of any necessity to forgive.” In forgiving, I merge with the Christ light within, living and moving from a place of pure love.
Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.—Mark 11:25

Let Go Let God In Oneness

We are all connected through oneness.

Every person in the world has unique gifts and qualities. I interact with people every day who look, think, and act differently from me. Yet despite any appearance of separation and differences, in reality we are all connected through oneness, unified in our divinity. I choose to live from this truth by treating others with love and kindness. When I struggle to relate lovingly to someone, I challenge myself to identify and focus on the good in that person. When I am able to acknowledge the good, I shift myself into a consciousness of love. I remember that all people are connected through God, and I experience oneness with all.
For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.—1 Corinthians 12:13

Let Go Let God Provide Comfort

I am always comfortable in the midst of the day’s pressures and challenges.

My life is often filled with schedules and obligations that cause me to feel anxious and stressed. When I feel overwhelmed I take time to realize that what I’m really feeling is the energy of the world around me. I can always choose to stay comfortable in the midst of pressure. I know without question that there is one presence and one power active in the world and in my life. When I am feeling out of alignment with that Truth, I center myself in the energy of my heart and find the comfort of Spirit that is always present. I feel that comfort radiating in every cell of my body, every thought in my mind. I am a perfect expression of the presence of the Divine.
It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.—Deuteronomy 31:8

Let Go Let God Give Thanks

I give thanks for the goodness of God expressing in my life.

This day I choose to focus on all of the good in my life. I begin by giving thanks to my divine source for the many blessings in my life. I am grateful for the very breath that animates me. I am grateful for my senses through which I experience all that is good in this world. I have known joy, love, and peace as gifts of God. From this place of gratitude I take a deep, centering breath. Inhaling and exhaling, I bring my awareness to the present moment. I begin to make a mental list of all things great and small for which I’m thankful. Thoughts of individuals, possessions, experiences, knowledge, shelter, and health flood into my mind. For each idea I offer a blessing in return. I give thanks for the goodness of God expressing in my life.
O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.—1 Chronicles 16:34

Let Go Let God As A Mentor

I see the light in everyone.

Jesus called 12 to be his disciples yet he mentored many more people. He taught, not only in sayings and parables, but also in the way he lived his life. His compassion, his refusal to judge others, his constant reliance on prayer and connection with God, and his exhortation to forgive demonstrated a way of life that touched those around him. Jesus never set himself apart as special but sought to teach each one to recognize and use the power within. Each day I have opportunities to show compassion, to withhold judgment and offer encouragement, and to bring a peaceful presence to a situation. The Christ light shines through me and allows others to see a new light in themselves. I demonstrate the possibilities of living a life grounded in faith.
Show me your faith apart from your works, and I by my works will show you my faith.—James 2:18

Let Go Let God Be A Blessing

I am a blessing of God’s love and light.

Poet James Dillet Freeman wrote, “Make me a blessing, Lord. Help me to help those needing help.” A blessing is an imparting of spiritual good, and to be a blessing is to be a beacon that shines forward hope, faith, and wisdom. When storms arise in the external world, I allow the inner light of Spirit to guide me that I may bring light to those around me. Acting from spiritual illumination, I offer words of hope and encouragement when others face challenges. I take action to be of service to a neighbor in need. I listen with compassion to the lonely at heart. In all situations I call forward the creative power of the Word. Regardless of appearances, I affirm health, life, harmony, and abundance. I am a blessing of God’s love and light.

Contribute to the needs of the saints; extend hospitality to strangers.—Romans 12:13

Let Go Let God in Accomplishment

I am divinely designed for success!

I watch birds flying with such ease and majesty, knowing they are created specifically for that purpose. Their bones are light, even hollow, and as they spread their wings, they catch the wind and soar. Like a bird, I am divinely designed to live my purpose and soar to new heights. As motivational speaker and author Zig Ziglar writes, “You were designed for accomplishment, engineered for success, and endowed with the seeds of greatness.” I take these words to heart in quiet times of prayer. As I tap into the unlimited mind of God within, divine light and wisdom lead me to new and fulfilling avenues as I express my divine potential. With gratitude, I affirm: I am divinely designed for success.
God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good.—Genesis 1:31

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I lift my loved ones in the light of prayer.

On a heart level there is no separation between me and those I love. In this quantum realm of Spirit, everyone is connected in light, and my every thought and prayer instantaneously elicit the effect that is desired. In this miraculous universe of oneness, all things are possible! There is no distance in God. Everyone I hold in prayer is already united with me in spirit. I affirm wholeness, healing, and perfection for each one, and the highest and best outcome is assured. Divine order, peace of mind, and positive outcomes are emerging for the highest good of all concerned. My prayers go forth to do a mighty work.
Pray for one another, so that you may be healed. The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.—James 5:16

Let Go Let God with Compassion

We are all unique expressions of God.

One of the great commandments taught by Jesus is “to love thy neighbor as thyself.” When I practice compassion, I accept others exactly as they are. I honor and respect all men, women, and children as expressions of God. In the narrative of Genesis, God created the world and everything upon it. God saw that it was good and God blessed it all. I see all people as unique expressions of the Divine. Eric Butterworth often used the analogy of God as the ocean and humanity as individual waves. Each person has his or her own personality, passions, aversions, temperaments, physical capabilities, and attributes. But like waves on the ocean, there is no place where God stops and we begin.
You shall love your neighbor as yourself.—Matthew 22:39

Let Go Let God It Is Easter

The eternal light of Easter morning lifts my spirit to new heights.

I am a spiritual being engaged in a human experience. As such, my individual spirit is resurrected when I use faith and forgiveness to dissolve negative energies and attitudes that have been slowing me on my spiritual path. I am the light, and the kingdom of God is within. Recognizing this, I dissolve thoughts in consciousness that would deny my worthiness for personal resurrection. I AM a whole and perfect expression of infinite spirit, here in human form to create—choice by choice—the new dimension of consciousness that Jesus demonstrates through his Easter manifestation. As it is for me, so it is for the world. I affirm that the energy of resurrection is lifting all people to new dimensions of love, appreciating deeply the true unity of all life.
I am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.—John 20:17
