Let Go Let God in Triumph

Today I celebrate my successes, great and small.

I am created for success, for God gave me a spirit of power, love, and self-discipline. Each goal I undertake is replete with opportunities to grow and to learn. If I make a mistake, I adjust my course. Challenges are an integral part of the journey. I learn from overcoming them; I learn as I draw on divine wisdom, imagination, faith, and strength. For encouragement, I remember my past accomplishments and the achievements of others. Triumph sparks joy and a sense of fulfillment within. I recognize and celebrate my successes, great and small. I give thanks for the divine help I have received along the way.

His glory is great through your help; splendor and majesty you bestow on him. You bestow on him blessings forever; you make him glad with the joy of your presence.—Psalm 21:5-6

Let Go Let God in Divine Order

Centered in Spirit, I live in harmony and balance with all creation.

Great dancers have mastered the art of spinning quickly without losing their balance. This is because they know how to center their bodies and then “spot” themselves by focusing on and repeatedly turning their attention to one steady point as they spin. In the flurry of modern life, I, too, can remain balanced by centering and “spotting.” I begin the day by centering myself spiritually. I release any thoughts of discord, align my thoughts with divine order, and realize the One Mind that is the source of all creation. As I move into the day’s activities, I “spot” myself by repeatedly turning my attention to Spirit. My consciousness of Spirit orders my steps, keeping me balanced throughout the day.

Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.—Psalm 143:10

Let Go Let God Create

Divine creativity flows through me now.

We use the power of imagination to visualize, conceptualize, and create. Every day I have an opportunity to create something new. I may use my imagination to design or write, to compose or invent, to give birth to divine ideas. I am a spiritual artist, using imagination to create my world. My thoughts, words, and actions are the means by which I manifest. Together they yield rich experiences and opportunities. In silent meditation, I listen for the still small voice within. As I create from God-inspired thought, experiences of love, joy, and peace emerge. My life is a creative expression of God at work in me.

I made the earth, and created humankind upon it; it was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all their host.—Isaiah 45:12

Let Go Let God in Everlasting Love

I relax and open my heart to the all-embracing, everlasting love of God.

God’s love never waivers. Yet there may be times when I close my heart to knowing the presence of Divine Love. Perhaps I am feeling ashamed or undeserving of love, or my heart is hardened by anger or resentment. Perhaps I feel I must wait until I achieve a particular goal before I allow myself to feel beloved of God. I now move beyond these barriers.I breathe deeply and remember that God’s love is always mine to have—and to share! In this moment, God’s grace transcends any limited or limiting notions of undeservedness. I gratefully allow God’s loving-kindness to flow freely in and through me, healing and transforming not only me, but the entire world.

The Lord appeared to him from far away. I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued my faithfulness to you.—Jeremiah 31:3

Let Go Let God with Courage

I am courageous.

I may think of courage as something to summon when danger lurks. Yet at times, I need courage even when no danger or difficulty is apparent. I need courage when unfounded fears cloud my mind and heart. I need courage when I have allowed circumstances to distract me from God’s good and ever-present power. No matter what has caused my fear, I can look beyond appearances to the reality—to God—and take courage. Knowing there is One Presence and One Power gives me the courage to stand strong and release any fears. I know God is present for myself, for my family and friends, and for people all over the world who are facing challenges of any kind.

Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord.—Psalm 31:24

Let Go Let God Find Inner Peace

Peace beckons from within.

Many of us have found ourselves at some point in our lives asking for a sign—a sign to let us know we will make it through a trying situation, that everything will be okay; a sign to put our troubled hearts and minds at ease. Yet we know peace doesn’t come from outside of us—peace emanates from within. As we engage in prayer and silent meditation, we untangle tightly knotted worries. We release the practice of reliving a past we cannot change or worrying about a future that may never happen. Peace beckons us from within. As we respond to the call of peace, we relax into an experience of inner stillness, one which no outer sign can provide and no outer circumstance can take away.

Peace be to you; do not fear.—Judges 6:23

Let Go Let God with Acceptance

I love and accept myself and others.

People come in all shapes and sizes, each with their own values, ideas, and customs. Each individual is a unique gift of God, with inner beauty and divine potential. Although a person’s words and actions may sometimes obscure their true nature, it is always visible through the eyes of Love. I accept others as I accept myself. I, too, am a unique light in the world: a light kindled by Spirit and fueled by the love of God within. Nothing can extinguish the light that shines in me. When challenges arise, I accept them as stepping-stones to a greater awareness of my soul’s journey and the power of God within.
Each of us is one-of-a-kind, worthy of love, and deserving of good.

Hear, my child, and accept my words, that the years of your life may be many.—Proverbs 4:10

Let Go Let God with a Satisfied Soul

I keep my mind on God, and my soul is satisfied.

A beautiful sunset, the sound of laughter, the tastes and smells of my favorite foods—these enrich my life and satisfy my senses. But how do I satisfy my soul? Jesus taught, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.” As I keep my mind on God, I gain a sense of God’s love for me. I return that love by answering the call to a higher purpose. With a heart full of God’s love, I joyfully express it to others. In exchange for anger, I offer understanding. For confusion, I offer clarity. For sadness, I offer comfort. With my mind and heart on God, my life is filled with meaning. I give thanks and sing praises, for in loving God, my soul is satisfied.

My soul is satisfied as with a rich feast, and my mouth praises you with joyful lips.—Psalm 63:5

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

I am wondrously made of Infinite Love.

If a healing challenge or diagnosis threatens to crush my spirit, I galvanize my personal power by prayerfully connecting with the inner healer, the Spirit of Truth. I affirm statements of Truth that align my consciousness with my God-given wholeness. These are not empty platitudes; they are affirmations prayed with power and conviction:
I am wondrously made of Infinite Love. Infinite Love is a mighty healing stream, coursing through my entire being, releasing divine energy that restores my health. I fill my mind with powerful thoughts until I feel the Truth of those statements deep in my heart. Then I celebrate the outcome: Renewed health and vitality in every part of me—mind, body, and spirit.

Sanctify them in the truth; your word is truth.—John 17:17

Let Go Let God Be Protected

By the power of Christ in me, I am directed and protected.

A turtle is protected by its shell. A bird is protected by flight. A tree is protected by its deep roots. And I am protected by the power of the Christ within. Christ within is the essence of my being, imbuing me with love, wisdom, strength, power, and faith. When I think, speak, and act from my spiritual center, I have access to all I need to meet challenges and overcome obstacles. As I focus on the power of the Christ within me, I release error thoughts of worry or fear. I may not know how circumstances will unfold, but I trust that I am secure, that I will know what is mine to do, and that all is in perfect order.

I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these.—John 14:12

Let Go Let God Lead on Pathways

My heart leads me to my right path.

I will travel many pathways during my lifetime. Some may take me only a short distance; others I will travel for years. On my journey, I will have countless opportunities to choose one path over another. Poet Robert Frost wrote: “Two roads diverged in a yellow wood. … I took the one less traveled by, and that has made all the difference.” The path I choose does make a difference, so I consider it carefully. While I may listen to the advice of friends, loved ones, or leaders, my truest sense of direction comes from within. At the core of my being is a well of divine wisdom and divine inspiration. Before making a choice, I listen to my heart. God in me leads me to right choices on my unfolding journey.

The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time on and forevermore.—Psalm 121:8

Let Go Let God Be Recharged

As I plug into God, I am spiritually recharged.

The activities that keep me engaged and interested in life can also at times deplete my energy. Maintaining a home, job, family, community activities, and self-care may leave me feeling overwhelmed. Relaxation may be what I need to refill and recharge my body, mind, and spirit. Rest and recreation are vital for physical and mental health. Taking a walk or reading a book, joining friends in a game or sport—these types of activities recharge my energy and my spirit and provide a reprieve from life’s daily challenges.
To recharge my soul, I spend time centered in the indwelling spirit of God. In the quiet of meditation or the contemplation of prayer, I am guided to make choices that recharge and renew me in every way.

Revive me according to your word.—Psalm 119:25

Let Go Let God in My Environment

My internal environment is Divine Love.

Prairie plants adapt to survive the challenges of their sun-baked, windy world. They grow deep root systems to anchor themselves against fierce winds and to tap into a water source. When fire sweeps across the prairie, only the most deeply rooted plants survive.
Like the prairie plants, I depend on deep roots to support me in challenging times. When the winds of change are raging, my faith keeps me grounded. I turn to gratitude, inspiring words and music, and quiet contemplation to reconnect with the stabilizing Divine Power within me. My internal environment is Divine Love. Regardless of outer conditions, I am grounded and stand strong.

Other seeds fell on good soil and brought forth grain, some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty.—Matthew 13:8

Let Go, Let God

I trust the wisdom of God to lead me in right ways.

Stewing over a challenging situation can cause me unnecessary worry and concern. I may fill my mind with worst-case scenarios and “what ifs” until I wear myself out. Overthinking a problem can often expend more energy than simply letting go and trusting God. Instead of forcing solutions, I turn to God within. Taking a deep breath, I relax my mind and body. I say a simple “Thank You.” I give thanks that there is a higher power at work in my life, guiding me in right ways, and helping me achieve my goals. I give thanks that I am a partner with God in every experience. I relax, let go, and trust Divine Wisdom to bless and guide me.

Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.—Philippians 4:6

Let Go Let God be Free

I am free to live as God created me.

I answer the call to be my best self. God created me to be free and to enjoy the fullness of life—to learn, grow, and evolve into my divine potential. I achieve freedom by living my life with intention. I free my mind of self-limiting beliefs and replace them with affirmative, confidence-building thoughts that are congruent with my true nature. I practice healthy nutrition and exercise, taking care of my body and mind. I am a good steward of my home, belongings, and finances. I respect others and am thankful for relationships that enrich my life and help me grow. My quiet time each day offers me the opportunity to consciously align myself with my divine blueprint—the Christ in me—and enjoy the fullness and freedom of well-being.

For freedom Christ has set us free.—Galatians 5:1

Let Go Let God s a CareGiver

Through grace, we are strengthened.

At times, caregivers may feel their strength wane. “When we do our best and continue to look to God … divine law works out our problems and we have more grace and glory than we had anticipated.” As a caregiver to those I love, I look to God as my source of strength. I receive God’s grace and feel the energy of Infinite Love. I trust all is resolved in accordance with divine principle, and I am filled with deep peace. Through grace, my mind is soothed and I gain a new perspective. I see beyond limitations and envision the highest potential in others. When they, too, see their potential, they feel renewed hope and healing power.

Stephen, full of grace and power, did great wonders and signs among the people.—Acts 6:8

Let Go Let God Create a Divine Connection

I am one with Divine Love.

Technological communication requires equipment to be in good working order, an adequate power supply, and a clear connection. One connection that does not depend on technology is my connection with the Divine. Any time I open my heart and focus my thoughts on pure love, I make a divine connection. Nothing on the outside can block my contact with Divine Love. I clear the way within me by letting go of the belief that I am separate from the perfect Love that created me. I release separating thoughts of anger, resentment, or pain. Allowing Love—the essence of my being—to fill me, breath by breath, I feel the completeness of connection. I am one with Divine Love. I am at peace.

The one who sent me is with me; he has not left me alone.—John 8:29

Let Go Let God with Simple Words

I AM a divine expression of Spirit.

My senses of sight, sound, smell, taste, and touch emanate from my physical body. My capacity to think independently reflects my mental ability. I understand, however, that I am more than my physical and mental self. I am a spiritual creation. Although I may sometimes act or speak in error, the perfection of Spirit is within me. As I connect simple but powerful words such as faith, love, and peace with the affirmation, I AM, I affirm my true nature and expand my consciousness. I AM an expression of God’s love and peace right here and now. I AM faith in action. I embrace the Truth of who I AM and live this truth every day. I AM an expression of Spirit contributing to a world of divine creation.

Truly it is the spirit in a mortal, the breath of the Almighty, that makes for understanding.—Job 32:8

Let Go Let God in Faith

I move forward in faith, trusting God and enjoying the journey.

Faith is a belief in something bigger than myself, an inner knowing that there is a plan for my life of which I may not currently be aware, but of which I am assured. Jesus had immense faith. He knew that God had a plan for him, and he walked in faith throughout his life. He also instilled and inspired faith in others. I, too, can walk in faith, knowing that God is with and within me and that I have a special role to fill in this world. With faith, I do not need all the answers. Although my path may not always be clear, I can enjoy the journey. With God, all things are possible. I hold this truth in mind and heart as I live in faith.

What is impossible for mortals is possible for God.—Luke 18:27

Let Go Let God in the Community

In truth, we are one.

When I think of the word community, I may picture a group of people united in a common cause or a small town in which neighbors help and support one another. In this time of instant news, emails, and texts, the means of creating community may have changed, but it still involves people connecting with one another. Today I remind myself of the value of community. I identify the communities that help and support me—my spiritual community, my neighborhood, my workplace, clubs or groups to which I belong, and my town or city. I am also part of the world community. Living together on this planet, we can assist and support each other in peace and love every day. Let us be one community!

Peace be to the whole community, and love with faith, from God.—Ephesians 6:23

Let Go Let God in World Peace

I prayerfully do my part to effect peace.

Regardless of news reports about conflict or unrest around the globe, I hold to my faith in the promise of peace for our planet. Motivated by the infinite peace of God, I do my part to effect peace in the world. I radiate life-affirming, loving thoughts to any areas compromised by war, misuse, abuse, neglect, or the forces of nature. I affirm the power and presence of Divine Life and Love for members of all nations and communities affected by such conditions. I look for the good in each person I meet. I use respectful, compassionate words that calm combative situations, which brings about peace and harmony. I choose to make peace with others, realizing the ripple effect is peace in the world.

To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.—Romans 8:6

Let Go Let God Forgive

As I forgive, I am set free.

Even when there is no apparent problem in my relationships, I may at times feel tense with others or hesitate to interact. At such times, I turn within for prayer. Connecting with my divine nature, I invite and embrace a spirit of forgiveness toward others and myself. Through prayer, I forgive others for actions, attitudes, or words that may have left me feeling hurt or diminished. I open my heart to express compassion, kindness, and divine love. While forgiving another may appear to set them free, in reality, it sets me free of regret, resentment, and ill will. Through forgiveness, I welcome new possibilities, deeper bonds, and a fresh start.

If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.—John 20:23

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I trust the spirit of God within.

When a friend or loved one is hurting, I may wish I could change their circumstances, give them a new start, or free them from a destructive habit. But I must lift my love and caring above the situation, look past my perceptions, and set my faith on God within them. I pray knowing my loved one is in God’s loving care and blessed by the healing activity of Spirit. I seal my prayer with the affirmation: Thy will be done. I release attachment to any specific outcome, resting in the assurance of divine results and timing for all concerned. In praying for others, I give them a personal and powerful gift—an expression of my faith in them, in the spirit of God within them, and in the enduring power of prayer.

Pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances.—1 Thessalonians 5:17-18

Let Go Let God in Prosperity

I open myself to the divine flow of goodness, ideas, and substance.

I believe in abundance and the continual flow of divine goodness, ideas, and substance. If I am experiencing lack in my life, I may need to examine my thoughts and actions to determine whether they are in alignment with my beliefs. Do I often worry whether I will have enough money to meet my needs? Do I hold on to possessions I no longer need in fear of being without? If the answers are yes, I have a powerful opportunity to realign my thoughts, feelings, expectations, and actions with Truth. My good comes from the inexhaustible, omnipresent substance of Spirit. I place my faith in Spirit and give thanks for all I receive. I am part of a joyous divine flow. I affirm and expect prosperity in every area of my life.

To all … that live throughout the earth: May you have abundant prosperity!–Daniel 4:1

Let Go Let God in Joy

My joy is complete in Spirit.

If I am searching for someone or something outside me to make me happy, it’s time to shift my attention inward. I may be discontented with what is happening or not happening in my life—but my life’s circumstances do not define my happiness. I choose instead to embark on an inner journey to joy. Joy is always within me as a gladness of my soul waiting to burst forth. Sometimes I simply need to give myself permission to experience joy. The joy of Spirit is as much a part of me as my heart and soul. I have joy in knowing the spirit of God is always present, and I carry this with me every moment of the day. I’m not waiting for something to happen to me or for me. My joy is already complete in Spirit.

I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.—John 15:11

Let Go Let God Begin a New Adventure

This is the first day of my new adventure.

First-time snorkelers might initially struggle to keep the snorkel above the waves. But as they turn their faces toward the ocean bottom, the rolling surface is forgotten and they are awestruck by a vastly different perspective—a world of colorful fish and forms. Beneath the surface is a whole new world. If life has become more of a struggle than an exciting adventure, I make the decision to change my perspective. I break away from limiting conditions and affirm a new way of life. When I do, an unexplored world opens up to me. I begin to see the joyful adventure that has been waiting for me all along.

You have heard; now see all this; and will you not declare it? From this time forward I make you hear new things, hidden things that you have not known.—Isaiah 48:6

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

The gentle presence of Spirit guides and directs me.

In times of turmoil, I may ask myself, What am I going to do? or Why did I make that decision? I can either wrestle with these questions, becoming bogged down in worry and blame, or I can turn within and allow Spirit to guide me. In quiet moments of prayer, I open my heart and mind to receiving direction from Spirit within. As I relax in silent contemplation, I am receptive to subtle suggestions from Divine Wisdom. When I listen with an open heart, even something as simple as an overheard remark or a line from a song on the radio may provide an answer. The gentle presence of Spirit guides and directs me. I know what to do, and I proceed with confidence.

If we live by the Spirit, let us also be guided by the Spirit.—Galatians 5:25

Let Go Let God Have Independence

I freely express the power of Spirit.

I declare my independence as I acknowledge Spirit to be the only source of power in my life. I refuse to believe that other people or conditions have power over me. I cast out any thought that the creative and loving power of Spirit in me is affected by what another person says, does, or thinks. Likewise, no physical condition can keep me from expressing the greatness of Spirit within. Claiming the power of Spirit, I know I am wise and loving and creative. I have the ability to overcome challenges. I dream big dreams, and through Spirit, I achieve them. I have the opportunity to live a life of purpose and meaning and to use my gifts in unlimited ways. I am free!

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom.—2 Corinthians 3:17

Let Go Let God Break Through

I am open and responsive to insight and intuition.

If I ever feel as though I’ve hit a brick wall when moving toward a goal—whether in my personal relationships, health, or career—rather than being frustrated, I regard it as a signal to take another approach. I pause for a moment and refer to my spiritual compass—the Christ of my being—for direction. Through inner guidance, intuition, and faith, I remove any limitations I may have placed on myself. I break through to a new understanding and move forward. When obstacles arise, I think and act from my Christ Consciousness to discover possibilities I may have never before considered. Acting on the insight I receive, I am part of the transformation that results.

Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”—John 14:6

Let Go Let God Reach Out

I reach out to life, and life reaches out to me!

When I reach out to life, life always reaches out to me. I begin by examining my thoughts and attitudes. Have I thought life was passing me by? Have I felt unneeded or unimportant? If so, I shift my thoughts. It is never too late to expand my horizons, to participate in life more fully, to look at life differently. If I have allowed my life to become routine, or shut out new interests or friendships, I prepare to make a change. I reach out, break out of my shell, and become a vibrant life-participant. I have much to give to life, and life has much to give to me. God’s spirit in me is always nudging me to express more love, more joy, more enthusiasm. I respond by saying yes!

Get yourselves a new heart and a new spirit!—Ezekiel 18:31

Let Go Let God in Harmony

My gifts are an essential part of divine harmony.

On the day I was born, I brought a unique song into the world. It is a song only I can express—a divine manifestation. It is essential to the great oneness of us all. No puzzle is finished without all the pieces, and no melody is complete without all the notes. If I withhold the talents that are mine to give, I create an incomplete harmony in the world. If I try to make myself a copy of someone else, I create disharmony within myself. Spirit has blessed us all with gifts, and I celebrate mine. No one else has my smile, my laughter, my love, or my voice. As I share from Spirit, I find nothing lacking. I give freely in harmony with the good that Spirit provides for me and for us all.

To each is given the manifestation of the Spirit for the common good.—1 Corinthians 12:7
