Abundant Life Is Present Through Me And All Around Me.

When I notice the world around me, I find life everywhere—in the air, on the land, and in the water. With gratitude, I observe this life growing and pulsing, providing beauty and nourishment in a perpetual, generative cycle. Each beautiful and unique form of life is an expression of God and reminds me that I, too, am a divine expression. A continual flow of infinite, intelligent life animates me. I encounter the world anew. Everywhere, I find abundant life expressing gloriously in wondrous diversity. This perspective helps me see God everywhere and in everyone. I feel joy for the abundance of each divine expression, thankful for the opportunity to take my place as the unique expression of life I am. 

I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.—John 10:10

Let Go Let God Behold

I Behold The Christ In Myself And Everyone I Meet.

In my daily life, I may see others as separate from me. I may have even been taught from an early age to see others who do not think as I do or who are different from me as enemies to be feared. Today I vow to see differently. I behold others as kindred spirits, as fellow members of the same human family. I remember the same radiant light that was in Jesus lives in all people, just as it lives in me. This understanding helps me be welcoming and accepting, even when it may be a bit of a challenge. I return again and again—as often as necessary—to the truth of all people. With the clarity of spiritual vision, I behold the Christ in others and myself. The veil of illusion lifted from my eyes, I see only God. 

God saw everything that he had made, and indeed, it was very good.—Genesis 1:31

Let Go Let God Claim Healing

My Healing Is Assured. I Am Whole.

All healing originates from the divine spirit within. When I have a healing need of any kind, I pray affirming perfect wholeness as the truth of my being. Appearances may be deceiving, especially when it looks as though nothing positive is happening. However, I remain patient and undaunted as I continue to affirm perfect wholeness. I have faith my healing is happening in my consciousness. As I sit quietly, I visualize healing energy flowing through me. I open myself to healing and claim wholeness as the truth of my life. There is no healing need so great that it can keep my realization of wholeness from me. I release my illness to the indwelling divine presence and let it go. In perfect trust, I am healed. 

Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly.—Isaiah 58:8

Let Go Let God In Prayer

I Enrich My Life Through Prayer.

Prayer is essential to my life, whether my prayer time is a quick affirmation of truth or a longer time in the Silence. I begin my morning with a thought of gratitude for the new day and set the stage for a day bright with promise and possibility. Through my prayer practice, I cope more easily with daily stresses or unexpected turns of events. If I feel overwhelmed, I pause to calm my thoughts and remember I have the strength and power within to handle any situation I face. At day’s end, I relax and give thanks for all that took place—the good and the not so good—knowing each activity and step keeps me learning and growing. I am grateful throughout the day as I practice the presence of God through prayer.

The prayer of the righteous is powerful and effective.—James 5:16

Let Go, Let God

My Human Nature And My Divine Nature Are In Sync.

Through the years, I have worked hard to ensure my success, safety, and prosperity. I have also grown in spiritual understanding, trusting God as the one presence and power with me and within me. Now, instead of relying on my human efforts or my divine identity alone, I see the wisdom of working toward a desired result or outcome and releasing the outcomes to the presence and perfection of God. I do what I can in the world, using my thoughts and feelings, my time and talent, mindfully. I also cooperate with Spirit, believing there are synchronicities and possibilities of which my human mind cannot conceive. Letting go and letting God means weaving together the human and divine, knowing I am both.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.—John 14:1

Let Go Let God With Joy

I Draw From My Wellspring Of Joy.

There are so many ways to express joy. I may speak words of praise that bring the awareness of even more blessings to mind. I may take joyful action, my every step aglow with the light of God, enlivening all I do. I celebrate the playful joy of every child—especially the child within me. I experience the same happiness whether I am in the heart of a busy city or in the stillness of nature. And then there is the quiet joy of just being, the richest joy of all. I rediscover my joy by taking slow, deep breaths, tapping into my wellspring of well-being that never runs out. I feel its energetic flow spilling over into my heart and life. What joy to be a spiritual being, a precious child of God.

But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.”—Luke 2:10

Let Go Let God Rest

I Relax Into The Divine Rhythms Of Life.

I am honoring God when I take care of myself. One of the best ways to make sure I can accomplish all that is mine to do is to make time for rest. Even a small time-out serves to relax me and renew my perspective, making goals feel reachable and life’s puzzles easier to solve. Even better, an entire day spent restfully has even greater benefits. Getting adequate rest, enjoying a leisurely meal, and spending unhurried time with my favorite people nourish me like rainfall on parched land. I honor my body’s needs, resting when I need to for as long as I need to. My mind opens, and my body feels refreshed. I relax, rest, and find precious, restorative balance.

So then, a sabbath rest still remains for the people of God; for those who enter Godʼs rest also cease from their labors as God did from his.—Hebrews 4:9-10

Let Go Let God Share Prosperity

I Am Grateful For Opportunities To Share My Prosperity.

Giving daily thanks for my prosperity—family and friends, my favorite music and literature, cool drinks in hot seasons, warm food in winter—keeps abundance at the forefront of my thinking and stirs up gratitude for the many blessings in my life. My prosperity only increases when I share generously. Giving freely and with joy lets receivers know I do not fear scarcity. More than charity, I share my prosperous attitude in addition to my material goods. I am in the flow of God, trusting I will have everything I need when I need it. This is perhaps the greatest gift I have to give—trust in the law of giving and receiving and faith in God as the Source of every good thing. I am grateful for all I have and all I give.

The measure you give will be the measure you get, and still more will be given you.—Mark 4:24

Let Go Let God Rediscover Silence

I Am Still And Silent Within The Sacred Energy Of God.

The world is filled with sounds—some are soothing, others jarring. Over time, I may become accustomed to the voices, animals, and other sounds of daily life I may no longer consciously notice. In a world awash with activity, I make an effort to still myself and quiet my mind, leaving the noises of my life behind to rediscover precious silence. I need not wait for a perfectly quiet environment to feel this serenity within. Free from distraction, I now feel the presence of God anew. Silence surrounds me as the activity of the world falls away and blessed peace envelops me. Spiritual silence is mine even in the midst of busyness and noise. I find it each time I reach within myself and touch the presence of God.

But the Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth keep silence before him!—Habakkuk 2:20

Let Go Let God Bless Work

I Am Blessed By My Work, And Through My Work I Am A Blessing.

I make a valuable contribution to the world through the work I do. I consider my work one of the ways I give loving service. It is also a constructive outlet for my unique talents and abilities. If I am retired, I trust my current endeavors have worth and meaning and will be a blessing to others as they are a blessing to me. If I am looking for work, I have faith that I will find the perfect place and opportunity for my unique light to shine. I am creative and industrious. No matter my particular work or where I do it, I approach each day as an exciting opportunity to give my very best, knowing I am expressing the life and energy of God as only I can.

All must test their own work; then that work, rather than their neighbor’s work, will become a cause for pride.—Galatians 6:4

Let Go Let God Be Assured In Guidance

I Am One With The Powerful, Indwelling Light Of God.

The light of God is within me, a beacon of hope, peace, joy, and love. I might not always see or feel it, but this light is guiding me on the path of life. Just as storm clouds may temporarily block the sun, it is always there. After the storm passes and the skies clear, I can feel the sun’s full, warming rays once again. In a similar way, if the storms of life cause me to experience stress or concern, I rest assured the light of God is still within, guiding and inspiring me. My role is to hold to the truth that even in a storm, the full light of God will become apparent. Every storm is temporary. There is always another day, a new day filled with light and love. This light is my guide as I walk the path of life.

It is you who light my lamp; the Lord, my God, lights up my darkness.—Psalm 18:28

Let Go Let God Affirm World Peace

Peace, Be Still. All Is Well.

Today I lay a foundation stone in the house of peace. I understand each person has a role to play in establishing world peace, and I am willing to do my part to help bring it about. My realization of world peace begins in my mind and heart. I find perfect stillness within as I commune with God and touch the peace that passes all understanding. From this place of perfect tranquility, I radiate waves of peaceful blessings to encompass the world. I send thoughts of love, healing, and assurance of the divine presence and power within me, just as it is with all people. Holding the world’s people in my heart, I affirm: You are love. You are peace. All is well. Peace, be still.

And I will grant peace in the land, and you shall lie down, and no one shall make you afraid.—Leviticus 26:6

Let Go Let God Find Comfort

I Find Comfort In Expressions Of Love.

Speaking the words I love you provides comfort for an aching heart and peace in times of uncertainty. Today I open my heart to these loving expressions as a soothing balm for distress or grief. When I am concerned about another, love centers me in the truth that all is in divine order, no matter how circumstances appear. I enfold the people I care about in a sphere of love, encircling them in peace and protection. When I am troubled, I find comfort in others’ loving words. I surround myself with those who offer solace in my time of need. I find encouragement in their kindness and compassion. As we share of ourselves in kind and loving ways, we hearten spirits and bolster faith, giving comfort to ourselves and others.

Comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word.—2 Thessalonians 2:17

Let Go Let God With Imagination

My Imagination Is The Key To My Creative Power.

My imagination is a powerful spiritual gift, one that I use mindfully and with intention as I bring my dreams and aspirations to vivid, tangible life. My imagination knows no limitation, isn’t stopped by circumstance or made small by my past mistakes and missteps. My imagination is part of my divine identity and is as boundless as God. Understanding this, I believe I have the power to create a life full of opportunity and abundance, overflowing with beauty and wonder. Together with my faith, I cultivate the images and ideas born in my imagination and let them flourish in my consciousness. I then take practical steps in the world that create the circumstances for my dreams to become reality.

I will pray with the spirit, but I will pray with the mind also; I will sing praise with the spirit, but I will sing praise with the mind also.—1 Corinthians 14:15

Let Go Let God Through Faith

My Faith Is Strong As I Rest In Awareness Of God.

Jesus spoke of having faith the size of a mustard seed to show just how powerful faith can be. He reminded us that even the smallest amount of faith can bring about positive, even miraculous, results. Today I focus on my faith in God. I see it as a vital part of my life, setting the tone for the day, centering me in the assurance I am not alone. I bolster my faith with prayer and meditation, knowing these spiritual activities deepen my awareness of God and boost my mood and carry me throughout the day. My faith inspires me to believe in myself. I am a beloved child of God, endowed with joy, peace, and every other attribute of the Divine. I trust myself the way I trust God, and my faith sees me through whatever life may bring.

For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.—Galatians 3:26

Let Go Let God In Amazement

I Stand In Amazement At The Beauty Of God.

I can become so accustomed to the beauty and majesty of the world around and within me that I may lose my capacity for amazement. Today I renew my wonder and appreciation for the miracles of life surrounding me. As I gaze upon the natural world’s beauty—flowers in bloom and birds in flight, the orderly rhythms of sunrises and sunsets, tides, and seasons in transition—reasons to be amazed abound. I am amazed at the miracle of my very life—the beat of my heart and the breath in my lungs. Perhaps most of all, I am humbly amazed by the awesome mystery of God, the Source of every good thing, my constant comfort and inexhaustible strength, the love in my heart, and the truth of my life.

Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? Who is like you, majestic in holiness, awesome in splendor, doing wonders?—Exodus 15:11

Let Go Let God Forgive

I Find Peace And Contentment In Forgiving.

Holding on to a painful memory is a burden to my mind and body. Forgiving helps me heal and move forward. To forgive, I quiet my mind and become aware of the love that is always a part of me. Turning within, I touch a place of understanding that is beyond hurt. Centered in peace, I begin to release pain and negative thoughts. I can forgive. Even if I find it difficult to get past a specific act, I can begin by recognizing the spiritual truth of the one who hurt me. Silently, I pray: I forgive you. I release you in love. Surrounding people and situations in love opens the way for release. I trust this process and pray as often as necessary. I release all into divine love, more powerful than any circumstance.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.—Luke 6:37

Let Go Let God Be Free

In God, I Am Free.

Occasionally I may feel hemmed in by circumstance, my choices narrowed by factors and forces beyond my control. While it’s true I may have to accommodate certain physical or material limitations, I also understand the situations of the world are temporary. The truth of God is constant, enduring, and unchanging. This truth is the key to my freedom. Rather than struggle against circumstances, resisting what is, and lamenting my lack of freedom, I align myself with a greater truth. I am free to choose my thoughts and feelings. I am free to choose my responses. I am free to forgive, release, and grow into the person I want to be. My trust in God expressing within and all around me is the sweetest freedom of all.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free.—Romans 8:2

Let Go Let God Behold Oneness

We Are One In Spirit.

It is a wonderful feeling to know at a deep level every person in the world is divine. Even if they don’t realize it, I know they are spiritual beings. This understanding is my call to behold our oneness in all I think, say, and do. Even if I feel challenged by certain individuals or situations, I keep our oneness, our kinship as members of the one human family, at the forefront of my awareness. Compassion flows from my desire to treat others the way I want to be treated. Kindness springs from my wish to live in a harmonious, friendly world. Cooperation generates patience and forgiveness where there once was conflict. I behold the Christ, the divinity in all people. We are divine.

Holy Father, protect them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, as we are one.—John 17:11

Let Go Let God Illuminate

I Welcome The Light.

Taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of a sunset, I realize that, in another part of the world, the first rays of a rising sun are bringing light to a morning sky. Whether I can see it or not, the sun never stops shining. Somewhere, a new day is dawning. Much more brilliantly than the sun, the light of God, too, is always shining. Sometimes my thoughts may be so focused on a challenging life situation that I do not sense this divine light. Then in a flash of insight, I experience again the illuminating presence that, even in my darkest moments, is as near as my next thought. I affirm: Let there be light. I breathe out frustration and worry. Breathing in, I am filled with the light of truth that illuminates my mind and shines from within my heart.

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.—Genesis 1:3

Let Go Let God Pray For Others

I Behold The Truth Of God As I Pray.

Each person carries within them the potential for the highest expression of their divinity. As I pray for others, I trust this truth, knowing all people are made in the image and likeness of God and already have within them everything they need. In prayer, I direct my attention to the peace and perfection of divine mind. I rise above the appearance of lack, conflict, and separation, and any other aspects of my human perspective. I center myself in spiritual truth. Drawing from the source and substance of all that is, I feel no need to save or fix others. My prayer emerges instead as a beautiful affirmation of love, joy, and peace overflowing in the lives of those for whom I pray, their hearts full and their souls at ease.

Open my eyes, so that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.—Psalm 119:18

Let Go Let God Release

Releasing Keeps Me In The Flow Of Life.

I am always growing, always changing. The very nature of life is change. Integral to this change is the clearing out of the old to make way for the new. I see examples of this throughout all aspects of life. Whether cleaning out a closet or searching my memories for long-forgotten assumptions or resentments that have hardened my heart, releasing whatever no longer supports my growth frees me. I am meant to live as the powerful, creative, spiritual being I am. I express the power and presence of God with greater clarity and purpose when I am no longer carrying the weight of past experiences and regrets. I do not shrink to fit an outmoded version of myself. I release the past and live boldly into my brilliant future.

Do not remember the former things, or consider the things of old.—Isaiah 43:18

Let Go Let God In Grace

I Am In Awe Of The Unending Grace Of God.

When I think of grace, I may envision a ballet dancer moving with elegance across the stage. I may observe a bird in flight, peacefully soaring above the earth. I may picture a meadow of vibrant flowers, gently swaying in the breeze. Grace is also personal, blessing my relationship with God and touching every aspect of spiritual living. I experience grace when I lovingly share my time and energy, let go of resentment and choose forgiveness, or use my words and actions to help others. By giving of myself, I share the beauty of God’s unending grace. Whether out in the world or deep in my heart, I feel deeply and abundantly blessed. I walk in spiritual awareness, one with the grace and benevolence of God.

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.—2 Timothy 4:22

Let Go Let God As Infinite Possibilities

I Give Thanks For Infinite Possibilities.

Today I become aware of infinite possibilities. I let my mind wander and open to the good things that can happen. I consider a long-held dream and imagine what it would feel like for it to come true. My aspirations reflect God within expressing uniquely as me—infinite wisdom inspiring my mind and guiding my steps into each new adventure, expanding my soul. I imagine the best and live my life as though my deepest heart’s desire is already at hand. My vision becomes my reality as I put my faith in the power and presence of indwelling Spirit. Through imagination, I dream. In faith, I believe in possibilities. With order, I make my vision a reality.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”—Matthew 19:26

Let Go Let God With Powerful Protection

God Within Is My Strength And My Shield. I Am Powerfully Protected.

As long as I am alive, I will have hopes and fears, joys and sorrows. There will be times I sail right through and times I will need every ounce of courage I can muster to take even a single step. This ebb and flow is part of being human. Each situation becomes easier to face when I remember that all of life is happening through God, and God is with and within me. With God, I am never alone and never without options and possibilities. I remember I have overcome my prior challenges through the power of indwelling Spirit, making me stronger and more capable with every trial. I imagine the presence of God within as impenetrable armor around me. I am strong, powerful, capable, and protected.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.—Proverbs 18:10

Let Go Let God Trust Divine Order

I Cooperate With Divine Order And Know Peace.

Divine order is not something I need to pray for or try to bring into my life. It simply is. I need only look around me and notice the rhythms of the natural world in easy, effortless harmony. Today I bring that harmony into my mind and heart. I appreciate divine order in the intricate functioning of my body, the beating of my heart, and the respiration of my lungs. I also appreciate how divine order operates in my mind, as my dreams and ideas manifest into thoughts and feelings, which, in turn, manifest in the physical world. Divine order is the truth of my life, just as it is the truth of all life. I trust this order is mine to use to create the life of my highest imaginings, bringing my dreams to vivid life.

All things came into being through him, and without him not one thing came into being.—John 1:3

Let Go Let God Claim Dominion

I Claim Dominion And Direct The Course Of My Life.

While I may not be able to control what happens in my life, I am always free to determine how I will respond. Through my divine faculty of dominion, I decide what to think, what to say, and how to act. If a thought of fear or powerlessness arises, I remember all the wisdom, understanding, and strength of God are within me. Whether I’m organizing my day or moving forward after making a life-altering decision, the principle of dominion is always mine to claim. Knowing this, I move through life with quiet confidence. I am secure in myself and in the knowledge I am a divine being. I claim dominion and feel my life expand into a field of limitless possibility and potential.

You have given them dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under their feet.—Psalm 8:6

Let Go Let God Ensure Success

I Live From My Divinity And Ensure My Success.

Discouragement visits everyone from time to time. I do not chastise myself for occasional bouts of disappointment or doubt, but I commit to rise above them and feel confident in my eventual success. I do this by placing my attention on God and away from the things and concerns of the world. Fortunes rise and fall like the tides. My success is not dependent on the capriciousness of random happenings and changing trends. I am a divine being. The intelligence, creativity, and power of God are mine to bring to life as I create my life and make my mark on the world. My triumph is assured when I live from my divine nature, the source of my success.

Do not let loyalty and faithfulness forsake you; bind them around your neck, write them on the tablet of your heart. So you will find favor and good repute in the sight of God and of people.—Proverbs 3:3-4

Let Go Let God Grow Friendship

Friendship  Is The Gift Of My Heart.

Being a friend means opening my heart in understanding, compassion, and welcome, inviting others to feel comfortable when they are in my company. My openness and acceptance invite those who don’t yet know me well to feel relaxed and free to be themselves. Each act of compassion and each kind word strengthen a feeling of community among us. Friendship means speaking and listening from my heart. I quietly listen to the thoughts and concerns of others without judgment or agenda. I also speak my truth, feeling safe enough to be vulnerable and trust my friends with my tender heart. Friendship grows and deepens with each act of trust and sharing from one caring heart to another.

Some friends play at friendship but a true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.—Proverbs 18:24

Let Go Let God Cultivate Inner Peace

I Cultivate An Inner Garden Of Peace.

I plant seeds of peace in my mind and lovingly tend them, cultivating a rich, luscious garden. My calming thoughts infuse my affirmations with peace, providing the right conditions for the seeds to sprout. I speak of serenity and keep my mind and heart open to absorb spiritual truth like water. A feeling of peace starts to grow, like seed casings opening and roots emerging. Even when I don’t see my garden’s progress immediately, I remain devoted to its cultivation. I trust that out of the stillness, shoots will come up through the ground and arise into sunlight, blessing my life with peace. Harmony will blossom as a field of blessings, and I will harvest tranquility. I reap my garden’s fruits in a cycle of planting, nourishing, and harvesting peace.

And a harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.—James 3:18

Let Go Let God With Courage

I Move Ahead With Courage And Confidence.

I observe physically strong people and marvel at their ability to perform impressive feats of strength and endurance. Even if their muscles are pushed to the edge of their ability, they are able to do what they set out to do. I remember them when I feel challenged, pressed to carry a burden I’m not sure I can lift. My courage is my spiritual muscle, giving me the strength and endurance to persevere and triumph even under the most adverse circumstances. The courage that fills my heart is the strength and power of God within me. I need not rely upon my human abilities alone. Instead, I draw from an inexhaustible well of divine power and trust my courage will be more than enough to meet any need I have.

Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.—1 Corinthians 16:13
