Let Go Let God Honor Connection

I Honor My Connection With All People.

No matter how great the distance that exists between me and the people I care about, I know we are connected by our love for one another. Today I reestablish and strengthen this connection by reaching out, even if it’s only to let someone know I’m thinking of them. Our connection is also kept strong through prayer. As I pray for those I care about, I bless them by holding my highest vision for their lives, seeing them as healthy, prosperous, happy, and fulfilled. Whether we’re in frequent contact or have fallen out of touch, my connection with my loved ones remains strong because we are one in God, one in love.

For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.—1 Corinthians 12:13

Let Go Let God Rely Upon Faith

Faith Buoys My Spirit and Carries Me Far.

Sometimes a dream feels too far away, an obstacle feels too big to surmount, or a goal feels impossible to achieve. I feel discouraged when I start believing more in problems than possibilities. At those times when I need to rekindle my belief in myself and the power of my dreams, I rely upon my faith faculty. Faith is my power to believe, which leads me to know I can do all that I set out to do. By believing in unseen possibilities, I open the way to my good. Faith assures me there is a solution to every problem and a remedy for every hurt. Faith keeps me optimistic that what is good in my life can become even better, and that my belief in myself can take me far.

By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared by the word of God, so that what is seen was made from things that are not visible.—Hebrews 11:3

Let Go Let God Stretch

I Stretch Myself and Grow.

If I want to make my body more limber, I gently stretch until I can move with greater ease and flexibility. If I want to expand my mind, I may take a class, learn a new skill, or listen to perspectives that are different than mine. No matter how I choose to increase my flexibility, I am kind and patient with myself. I may jump boldly into a new endeavor or I may take a more measured approach, starting small and celebrating incremental changes as I grow into new experiences bit by bit. Challenging myself to stretch and try new things helps me expand my skills and perspectives. As I commit to stretch myself, I am able to reach higher and higher and discover my future is unlimited.

You have been trustworthy in a few things, I will put you in charge of many things; enter into the joy of your master.—Matthew 25:21

Let Go Let God Open To Guidance

Opening To The Divine Within, I Am Guided.

Praying for guidance gives me comfort at times when the path before me does not seem clear. But in order to receive the clarity for which I pray, I must open myself to receive it. Needing guidance may leave me feeling unsettled as I search for answers or try to determine next steps. In those moments when I do not know which way to turn, I go within. I quiet my mind, breathe deeply, and access the wisdom of my heart. My breathing slows and deepens. In the stillness, I listen. Returning to the activities of my day, I feel confident that the wisdom of God within is guiding me, lighting the way before me. I am blessed to walk in this light.

And when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left, your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”—Isaiah 30:21

Let Go Let God Commit To World Peace

I Do My Part To Create Peace In The World.

A jigsaw puzzle is not complete until all of its pieces are in place. Just like puzzle pieces, each person is a vital part of the human family. If any person is not valued, peace will elude us all. The realization of world peace means every person is treated as important and worthy of respect. I commit myself to valuing the humanity and divinity of all people. Even if someone is unkind or impatient with me, I meet them with peace and compassion. My commitment to peace keeps my mind and heart centered on God and the connection I have with all others. I am determined to behold the best in every person. As I share my peaceful presence, I help complete the beautiful, intricate puzzle that is world peace.

If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.—Romans 12:18

Let Go Let God Pray for Healing

My Healing Prayers Encompass My Body and Mind.

When I am in need of healing, I do what is necessary to take good care of myself. I rest, eat nutritious food, and might ask for healing treatments and prayers. I also take loving care of my emotions as part of my healing. No matter my healing need, I face it with love and compassion for myself. I let myself feel frightened, sad, or angry. I allow myself to receive support from friends, family, and others who want to listen to me and offer help. I include my emotional needs in my prayers for healing. Just as I speak words of healing for my body, envisioning myself relieved of pain and dysfunction, I pray that acceptance and joy overtake my anger and sadness. I am grateful for the healing of my body, mind, and spirit.

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.—Matthew 5:8

Let Go Let God Invigorate

God Within Invigorates Me.

God is my unlimited source. Just as the food I eat fuels and nourishes my body, the indwelling Spirit fills me with life energy. This divine substance is always available to me, and my spiritual tools and practices help me access it and allow it to rejuvenate me. Anytime I need replenishing, I turn to God within and reconnect with my divine identity. I may most easily connect with Spirit when I meditate in silence, read scripture, or spend time in nature. Regardless of how I get there, what matters most is that I do my part and commune with my Source. I become open and I receive. The Divine within revitalizes and energizes me, and I am invigorated.

I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.–John 15:5

Let Go, Let God

I Do What Is Mine To Do and Release The Rest.

Over the years, I have accepted more and more responsibility as I have grown in maturity and experience. I have also grown in wisdom as I am able to discern what is mine to do. I have learned what to take on and what to leave for others. I have also learned not to exhaust myself by taking on too many commitments. Perhaps most important, I know when to use my will and determination to make things happen and when to let go. I recall times in my life when I felt frustrated that events did not unfold the way I had expected. I can now see how they unfolded perfectly, often in ways better than I could have imagined. I now let go easily, trusting in that perfection.

“In him we live and move and have our being"; as even some of your own poets have said, “For we too are his offspring.”—Acts 17:28

Let Go Let God Choose To Forgive

Choosing Forgiveness Blesses Me.

Forgiveness is a sign of strength. It’s also an ability to look beyond my personal view of a situation to a higher view, one that incorporates other people and differing perspectives. Often, taking the high road is not the popular choice and can even be uncomfortable. Choosing forgiveness is a higher road, a divinely inspired one. This road benefits me and may even benefit those whom I forgive. It helps me move on from discomfort or even anger to a place of peace and acceptance. God is my source of insight and strength, giving me the courage and power to forgive. Today, I choose to take the high road through forgiveness, knowing that it will heal my heart and bring me peace.

From the end of the earth I call to you, when my heart is faint. Lead me to the rock that is higher than I.—Psalm 61:2

Let Go Let God Cultivate Prosperity

I Create Space For Prosperous Living.

If I want to welcome something in my life, I need to create the conditions necessary for it to manifest. For instance, saying I want a loving relationship is not enough. I must be open and receptive to love. Craving comfort and security while dwelling on what I lack is akin to building a wall between me and all I desire. Removing the obstacles I have placed in the way of togetherness automatically brings me closer to others, and relationships naturally grow. Spending time in gratitude for what I already have gives me a prosperous mindset, and more to appreciate easily comes my way. I cultivate abundance by focusing my feelings and thoughts on the flow of limitless substance. I am prosperous beyond measure.

The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.—Proverbs 21:5

Let Go Let God Affirm Divine Order

I Affirm Divine Order In My Life.

Divine order has been an integral part of my spiritual path. My setbacks as well as my triumphs have helped make me the person I am today. My journey is ongoing. I prepare for even greater growth and expansion by affirming divine order. I have grown in so many ways on my spiritual journey. I recall times when I was convinced hoped-for developments and opportunities would never come to pass. Now, in hindsight, I can see how I had to grow through certain experiences and evolve in wisdom, strength, power, and love before those developments could come about. I step forward with confidence, ready to take the next step. I am grateful for the role of divine order in the perfection of my evolving soul.

The earth produces of itself, first the stalk, then the head, then the full grain in the head.—Mark 4:28

Let Go Let God Begin a Lenten Journey

I Begin My Lenten Journey and Welcome A New Way Of Thinking and Being.

On this Ash Wednesday, I give thanks for this holy season—a time of deep, prayerful contemplation. With faith, I commit to deepening my spiritual understanding and more fully expressing my divinity. I solemnly ask which habits or thought patterns are keeping me from being the person I want to be. I take time in the Silence to sit with this question, open to whatever wisdom comes to me. As I consider what to give up, I also think of what I am giving to. I release old thoughts and patterns of behavior and welcome a new way of living. I release negative thinking to give myself the gift of positivity. I make a sacred commitment to the process of allowing the pure expression of my Christ nature to shine brightly through and as me.

Commit your way to the Lord; trust in him, and he will act.—Psalm 37:5

Let Go Let God Feel Jubilant

My Jubilant Spirit Soars.

I greet the new day with joy and zeal. I feel wonderful, and I dance in perfect rhythm to the flow of life. Whether I hear the sounds of nature or the thrum of a city, the rhythms are like music to me. Radiant light streams from within me. My exuberant outlook brightens my world and shines kaleidoscopic, iridescent color, adding brilliance to even the most cloudy day. I see the best in each person and all situations, grounded in faith that God is expressing in and through all things. I choose to celebrate this glorious day, ripe with opportunity. I am jubilant, and my heart sings as my soul is uplifted in glorious harmony. With gratitude, I share my happiness with everyone I meet.

I know that there is nothing better for them than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live.—Ecclesiastes 3:12

Let Go Let God Inspire

I Inspire As I Am Inspired.

I remember with gratitude the people who have influenced me. In many ways, I have emulated their best qualities, and I have been blessed to share what I learned with others in my life. Inspired by their example, I am motivated to act through the power of God within me. I am imbued with creativity, substance, wisdom, and understanding. I treat others with kindness and respect. I greet strangers with a smile. I bless my friends and family with affirmative thoughts. I gratefully accept every opportunity to choose a higher path, be of service, teach, and learn. I see my life as an ongoing creative process. I am wonderfully and vibrantly alive, grateful for all the ways I may inspire others.

Then the Lord God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and the man became a living being.—Genesis 2:7

Let Go Let God Share Heart Expression

You Are Dear To Me, I Hold You In My Heart.

Sharing love is a wonderful way of discovering and responding to the divinity alive in every heart, binding us as a human family. My loving nature helps me see the best in every person whose life touches mine. Today I remember one of the legends of Saint Valentine in which he fashioned pieces of parchment into hearts, which he gave to others as tokens of his compassion and God’s love. Today the tradition continues when I say, “You are dear to me. I hold you in my heart,” with a card, gift, call, or a simple act of kindness. I share love with no expectation of reciprocation, and my heart welcomes every expression of love from others. Love’s energy grows through both giving and receiving.

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.—John 13:34

Let Go Let God Rest In Comfort

I Rest In Divine Light And Love.

Joy and sorrow are seasons of each person’s life. Each of us moves through times of ease and celebration as well as times of sadness and disappointment. When I feel distressed about something in my life or in the world, I soothe myself by taking time to rest in the love of Spirit. Like wrapping myself in a warm blanket, I feel enfolded in love as I breathe deeply and slowly and focus on the warm feelings in my heart. As I relax into deepening, comforting peace, I hear the soothing words found in scripture, “I am with you always” (Matthew 28:20). I am comforted by the presence of the Divine in these sacred moments. My heart is filled with gratitude for the times I have known this comfort and felt this peace.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.—Psalm 23:4

Let Go Let God Share Grace

I Share The Gift Of Grace.

I open myself to God’s grace as I awaken my willing spirit and receptive heart. Through grace, I know kindness, benevolence, forgiveness, and compassion. My heart warms and my soul shines as soon as I open myself to receive these divine gifts. Grace is mine to receive as well as mine to share. Every time I extend myself by lending a helping hand, I exhibit grace. Whenever I offer forgiveness to someone who has hurt me, I am sharing the gift of grace. When I slow down to listen deeply and empathize with someone, the space between us is filled with grace. Now, when I quiet my mind, I become receptive to the flow of grace that carries me on spiritual currents of divine love.

And now I commend you to God and to the message of his grace, a message that is able to build you up.—Acts 20:32

Let Go Let God Feel Free

Self-Knowledge Frees Me.

My ability to lead a balanced and fulfilling life depends on the freedom to know and be myself. Tuning into what I feel, need, and desire is aided by observation and soul-searching. When I am quiet and relaxed, I am able to become self-aware and explore my inner world. If I discover worry and stress are holding me back, I recognize I am curtailing my freedom. I free myself by giving my concerns over to the Divine within and praying for guidance and peace of mind. I call upon my spiritual attributes of wisdom, insight, and inspiration to lead me into wholeness and the freedom of expression I desire. As guidance comes, I feel light and free as I open fully to divine life and love.

I want you to be free from anxieties.—1 Corinthians 7:32

Let Go Let God Serve

I Find Joy In Service.

There are as many ways to be of service as there are people to serve. Some may serve by assisting a friend or neighbor and others may choose to volunteer at a school or for an organization. Today I ask myself what service means to me and how best I can serve. What causes and ideas excite me? In which ways can I give of myself to my community? Perhaps now is the time to search deeper within myself to discover that which resonates within me. Serving is a natural way to share the love and care of God. Through my service, I reach out to others lovingly and selflessly and share the best of myself. I am grateful for the ways in which I am able to serve, knowing my gifts and talents help make the world a better, kinder place.

Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. Let your good spirit lead me on a level path.—Psalm 143:10

Let Go Let God Pray For Others

I Lift Up Humankind Through My Prayers.

As I pray for others today, I am uplifted when I realize my prayers are touching hearts. Praying for others is a sacred practice and opportunity to bless people near and far. I may hold others in prayer as part of my sacred prayer time, or I may pray spontaneously throughout the day. Either way, I am working to lift up humankind and offer my consciousness of faith into the collective energy of goodness for all. My prayer is to affirm that the answers to every need lie in the divine wisdom, vitality, and abundance within each person. I give thanks for this truth and rest in the joyful knowing that everyone is truly blessed.

I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you.—Philippians 1:3-4

Let Go Let God Welcome Joy

As I Embrace My Feelings, I Journey To Joy.

I may be tempted to avoid feelings I find unpleasant. The amazing part, however, is that staying present as they move through me is the key to unlocking my greatest joy. Emotions are a natural and necessary part of being human, and each person will likely experience a wide variety of feelings every day. Welcoming and exploring any feelings of melancholy, passion, anger, or excitement allows us to understand ourselves better, leading to discoveries about why we feel the way we do, which can expand our horizons and enhance our quality of life. Today I release resistance and fully embrace my journey. Any darkness I am facing fades as the light of understanding dawns. I become calm and peaceful and welcome my joy.

Weeping may linger for the night, but joy comes with the morning.—Psalm 30:5

Let Go Let God Express Inner Peace

I Express The Peace of God.

“Peace! Be still!” With these words, Jesus claimed his authority and calmed the stormy waters. Following Jesus’ example, I, too, claim authority. In a stressful moment, I center my awareness in the divine presence that lives in me and expresses through me. This divine presence is perfect life, love, and wisdom. It is peace that nothing and no one can disturb. No matter what may be happening around me, at the center of my being there is always peace. It is an aspect of my divine inheritance, as near as my next thought. I release all fear and tension and embrace the peace of God. As I do, divine peace radiates from the center of my being. It clarifies my thoughts, calms my emotions, and relaxes my body. In every situation, I am a presence of peace.

Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—in peace because they trust in you.—Isaiah 26:3

Let Go Let God Remain Thoughtful

I Am Thoughtful With All My Words and Actions.

I genuinely appreciate the thoughtful, caring gestures shown to me. These may come as words of encouragement, a note of appreciation, or another’s patience when I’m feeling anxious or upset. I feel valued and heard. Moved to reciprocate, I express kindness and consideration to others. I take time to contemplate the likely consequences of all I say and do. I remember that as I give, I also receive. I open my mind and heart to share understanding and love. I release any need to justify a position and instead choose to be a better listener. I remain mindful that we each have value and deserve to be heard. My thoughtfulness is its own reward. I find joy in sharing myself in the way a flower shares its sweet fragrance.

Take thought for what is noble in the sight of all.—Romans 12:17

Let Go Let God Be Active

I Use My Gifts To Direct My Life.

Life is always in motion. From a subatomic particle to a galaxy, from the smallest one-celled creature to the entire universe, life itself is always moving, changing, and evolving. If I want to participate in the joy of creation, I must set myself in motion as well. I move into action by first taking stock of my intuitive guidance so my every action is spiritually directed. In this moment, I become quiet and ask, What is mine to do? Rising from my inner stillness, I feel a sure and calming sense of divine support and direction. I know what is mine to know, and I follow my inner leanings. Allowing my spiritual nature to guide my action, I am led to better outcomes and move toward my greatest good. I experience the full joy of living by taking divinely inspired action.

Jesus said to them, “My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to complete his work.”—John 4:34

Let Go Let God Be Brave

Bravery Makes Me Unstoppable.

I deserve the best life has to offer. The power of my dreams could take me far, but sometimes I shrink from taking the steps to make them come true. Today I say no to timidity, as I remind myself that the power of God is with me always. I am a spiritual being, brave and confident. I believe I am capable of achieving what I set out to do. My spiritual practices fortify my will and keep me motivated and full of confidence. I envision myself bravely moving forward to make my dreams a reality. I affirm: I am brave, I am unstoppable until I feel those words pulsate at every level of my being. I end each day with a prayer of gratitude for the gift of bravery and the power it gives me.

Be strong and of good courage, and act. Do not be afraid or dismayed; for the Lord God, my God, is with you.–1 Chronicles 28:20

Let Go Let God Feel Protected

I Feel Protected by the Presence of God Expressing Through Others.

Challenging or lonely times might leave me struggling to feel the presence of God. In moments when I find myself besieged with fear or anxiety, I help myself by calling upon the power of my faith. With faith, I quicken my belief that the presence of God is within me and all people. I pay close attention to signs of the Divine in the world—such as people helping others through service and generosity. I am grateful for those times when someone came to my aid. I feel safe knowing God is within all loving impulses toward service and help. I see evidence of the Divine when I look to others. I remember that the kingdom of God is all around me, and I feel protected.

Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve me against the wrath of my enemies; you stretch out your hand, and your right hand delivers me.–Psalm 138:7

Let Go Let God With Vision

I Use My Spiritual Vision To Direct My Life.

The future may be unknowable, but I am empowered and emboldened knowing I can help create it. I am blessed with the powerful awareness that my spiritual vision helps direct my way. As I open to the activity of God in me, I am able to discern clear guidance for my life’s direction. My thoughts and words are affirmations for my vision of my life. The words I speak and the actions I take propel me toward the realization of my goals. I keep my mind open to all possibilities. Through my spiritual vision I am able to glimpse a bigger picture and am entranced by the intricate details of my path. I trust that God within inspires me all along my way.

Suddenly the heavens were opened to him and he saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and alighting on him.—Matthew 3:16

Let Go Let God Bless Family

I Am Grateful for the Love of Family.

My family is precious to me. I cherish my time with them. Whether we are gathered in one room or spread across miles, we are always one. Being a family is not limited to my relatives. Some of my closest family ties are with people I have chosen to include. However I define what family means to me, I am grateful for our free sharing of spiritual, emotional, physical, and material support. Today I say a prayer of thanks. I am grateful for you, dear family. Thank you for your support, for the laughter in good times and the comfort in bad. Thank you for always being there for me. May the spirit of God that lives within your heart continue to guide you. May you always feel loved and worthy. May you always know that I love you forever.

Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor.—Romans 12:10
