Let Go Let God Begin a Fresh Start

I begin anew in this new day!

Now and then life is challenging. I may not welcome challenge itself, but I welcome the opportunity to learn from whatever arises, to grow in understanding, to flex my spiritual muscles!

Every day is a new day, a fresh start. No situation or circumstance can hold me back. My life is not only about what's happening to me; it's also what's happening through me.

The Christ within is my source of unlimited wisdom and creativity. I do my best when I respond to any challenge from my Christ nature, rather than reacting impulsively from my human nature. Every day I pursue what enriches me, enjoying the journey to my goals as much as the destination.

So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!--2 Corinthians 5:17

Let Go Let God with Grace

With gratitude, I remember the gift of God's grace.

As I go about my day's activities, I can sometimes get preoccupied by tasks and to-do lists. Or I may become distracted by turmoil in a close relationship or a personal conflict. I may forget the bigger picture and the gift of divine love.

God's love and grace are present in my life even when I am not paying attention. If I make a choice that isn't in my best interest, God's grace protects me from experiencing the worst possible outcome. Through God's grace, unexpected opportunities and unforeseen blessings come my way.

God's powerful and constant love supports my spiritual growth and unfolding. I acknowledge the many ways grace demonstrates in my life, and I am grateful.

But each of us was given grace according to the measure of Christ's gift.--Ephesians 4:7

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I am safely guided by the light of God.

Light is often synonymous with guidance. A lighthouse emits a beam of light to guide ships away from danger. Runway lights guide pilots to safe landing. Luminarias light up a welcoming path.

The light of God within me is wisdom, knowledge and inspiration. I open my eyes both figuratively and literally to the world around me and allow the light of God to shine from within my deepest being. I am guided to peace, safety, abundance and fulfillment.

I keep the light within shining through prayer and meditation. Open to God's illuminating presence, I recharge the light within so I may easily see the path before me.

If I take the wings of the morning and settle at the farthest limits of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me. --Psalm 139:9-10

Let Go, Let God

I let go of worry and God brings forth my good.

Even planned and welcome changes may arouse a certain amount of anxiety. At the start of a new job or a move to a new home, part of me may be afraid it may be too good to be true! And yet I know God's will for me is only good. So I take charge of my thinking. And I ask myself, What if everything goes right? I anticipate the blessing and then let go and let God.

I let go of worry and let God work in and through all people and circumstances to lead the way. I claim my inheritance of divine support and supply, and I free my heart of any feelings of unworthiness. I believe in God's limitless abundance, and I am ready to receive it! With a calm and peaceful heart, I affirm my belief in God and receive my good.

Do not let your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me.--John 14:1

Let Go Let God with Time Enough

I am in the right place, doing the right thing at the right time.

We are faced with many demands upon our time. If I were to allow anxiety to overwhelm me, I would not function at my highest and best.

I choose instead to turn within when I feel anxious--to breathe, relax and open my mind to divine ideas. I embrace peace rather than anxiety or concern; a sense of purpose rather than a sense of worry.

I discover that time serves me as I go calmly about my business. I am relieved as I act to the best of my ability. I give no thought to what I did last or what I must do next. Instead my complete attention is on the task at hand. This brings me a deep sense of satisfaction in all that I do.

I know that there is nothing better for them than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live.--Ecclesiastes 3:12

Let Go Let God Provide Prosperity

With thanksgiving, I give generously and receive abundantly.

When Jesus was teaching a large crowd and they became restless and hungry, his disciples gathered the food that was available: five loaves of bread and two fish. Jesus blessed the food and began to pass it through the crowd. In the end, there were baskets of food leftover.

Generosity inspires generosity, and giving generates abundance. As I give my attention to others, I find that I have all the time I need to accomplish the task. As I give, I experience a flow of abundance in my own life. I also give thanks in advance, just as Jesus did. Aligning my heart and mind with the divine flow, I express gratitude for all my blessings.

And taking the five loaves and the two fish, he looked up to heaven, and blessed and broke them, and gave them to the disciples to set before the crowd.--Luke 9:16

Let Go Let God in Faith

My faith is strong.

If something appears to be wrong, missing or broken in my life, I don't fixate on it, giving energy to anxiety and fear. I focus instead on God's all-sustaining essence, and I experience the calming influence of faith.

In prayer, I become still and affirm that my faith is strong. I am reassured that God is my ever-present help and the unlimited source of my supply. God and I are one.

As I rest in a state of quiet expectancy, my fear-based emotions transform into faith-filled realities. My mood lifts, my confidence grows, and I complete my prayer time with fortified faith in a divine outcome. I choose thoughts that move me out of fear to take faith-inspired steps to fulfill my good.

If you had faith the size of a mustard seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, "Be uprooted and planted in the sea," and it would obey you.--Luke 17:6

Let Go Let God Spiritually in Mind and Body

I am alive, alert and enthusiastic about life!

My mind and body are in an ongoing conversation. My body responds to my thoughts, and my mind continually receives messages from my body, especially when something is out of order. However, I am more than mind and body; I am created in the image and likeness of God. I am first and foremost Spirit.

As I bring my spiritual awareness into the conversation between mind and body, I keep myself in balance. I know my body and its needs. I nurture it with food and water, rest and exercise. I also send an affirmation of life and renewal to every cell of my being. With Spirit-centered thoughts, words and actions, I claim my true identity as a whole and healthy expression of God--mind, body and spirit.

To set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.--Romans 8:6

Let Go Let God Be Receptive

With childlike wonder, I am receptive to God's kingdom of good.

Some may think the kingdom of God is a place in the afterlife, but the kingdom Jesus described was, and is, eternally present. It is right here in the midst of us. We experience it when we trust in God's all-sufficiency, not only in the future, but today and every day.

Each morning, I enter into the kingdom of God. When I retire each night, I am grateful for God's kingdom of good. I receive the kingdom as I recognize God's living, loving presence all about me. I am joyful and at ease, receptive to divine guidance and life-enriching ideas. When I am in a childlike state of wonder and appreciation, I am open, receptive and cooperative with God's plan for my good.

Whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little child will never enter it.--Mark 10:15

Let Go Let God Be Fulfilled

I am fulfilled by the spiritual life.

Happiness presents itself in all types of packages: the love of family, the beauty of nature, the joy of watching puppies play. And yet family dynamics can change, beauty may fade, and puppies may chew my shoes! Lasting pleasure and fulfillment come from giving my heart, mind and soul to the eternal, unchanging spirit of God.

As I grow and develop in Spirit, I enjoy expressing God's love through service. I look for ways to serve the people in my community, protect the well-being of the planet, or contribute my resources to animal welfare. In whatever way I am guided by Spirit within, I joyfully share my strengths and gifts, living a life of lasting fulfillment.

May he grant you your heart's desire, and fulfill all your plans. --Psalm 20:4

Let Go Let God Give Comfort

My heart is open to the blessings of divine love.

There may be no greater time to realize the presence and power of God's love than when one is in need of comfort. If I've suffered a loss or disappointment, I may feel heartbroken, but as I become willing to be lifted up by Spirit, I am comforted. All tendency to "go it alone" falls away as I remember I am God's beloved.

If I falter physically or emotionally, I call on the love of God to strengthen me. Knowing I am an expression of divine love, I experience both physical and emotional healing. I make decisions that need to be made, accomplish tasks that previously seemed impossible. God's love flows through me as I open my heart and my life to divine love.

Let your steadfast love become my comfort according to your promise to your servant. --Psalm 119:76

Let Go Let God in Divine Order

My life is peaceful and orderly as I let go and trust God.

As I pray, I become centered in the love and guidance of God. At one with the Presence within me, I tap into a higher consciousness. I become aware of the presence of God guiding and directing me in right and orderly ways. Divine order manifests in my life.

When I align myself with divine order, I experience keen intuition. As I act on this inner knowing, confidence replaces worry, and I move forward in faith.

Many new, exciting events will occur in the year ahead. I give thanks for God's continual guidance. I maintain a consciousness of peace and hope, knowing that my life is unfolding in divine order.

What should I do then? I will pray with the spirit, but I will pray with the mind also.--1 Corinthians 14:15

Let Go Let God Illuminate Splendor

The Christ Light illuminates the splendor of my being.

The sun's rays catch the icy branch of a tree and suddenly the very ordinary becomes a thing of splendor. In the same way, the Christ Light within me shines and illuminates the splendor of my being.

I am a spiritual being in human expression. My spiritual nature radiates through my humanity to reveal the beauty of the gifts I have to share. I am loving and wise, compassionate and generous. I am divine love expressing.

Caught in the rays of the Christ Light, simple acts and words become a part of Spirit's transformative power. Nothing is so ordinary that it will not become a thing of splendor when the Christ Light shines through it.

Deck yourself with majesty and dignity; clothe yourself with glory and splendor. --Job 40:10

Let Go Let God I Am Protected

I move through each day knowing I am divinely protected.

Every experience offers me an opportunity to remember God's constant love and protection. When traveling, I may affirm the shield of divine protection. If I am experiencing a health issue, I remind myself there is nothing to fear, God is with me. In every situation, I have the chance to gain a fuller realization of God's loving presence.

Looking back, I see how different situations spurred my growth. Even experiences I would not wish to repeat have increased my awareness of my connection with God.

I move through this day and every day enfolded in God's powerful protection. My mind and heart are filled with the protecting power and presence of God's love.

He protected us along all the way that we went, and among all the peoples through whom we passed.--Joshua 24:17

Let Go Let God Be Courageous

I am faith-filled, strong and courageous.

Sometimes I resist change and other times I feel an inner stirring to initiate change and start a new adventure. I may have satisfactory employment or a comfortable lifestyle, yet feel called to something more. Spirit calls me to expansion, inviting me to step out in faith and act courageously.

I pray, listen to my inner guidance, and then put feet under my prayers. The positive action I take sends a clear message to Spirit. I am saying "Yes" to my increase and expansion right now! I am not discouraged if I hit a roadblock. I fully trust that God goes with me wherever I go, showing me the way through any challenge. I am faith-filled, strong and courageous, living a life of adventure.

I hereby command you: Be strong and courageous; do not be frightened or dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.--Joshua 1:9

Let Go Let God Foster World Peace

I contribute to a world of peace through the power of my word.

As individuals we can each foster peace in our world. I can do something right now to contribute to greater peace: I can, through the power of my spoken word, extend a blessing to everyone in my awareness, even those I may consider my "enemy."

The act of blessing creates positive energy that dissolves negative thoughts and feelings. The blessing ripples out as a vibration of healing love to my community and the world. My words not only create my life, they can also create peace--both within me and within others. Therefore, I imbue my words with loving intention and share blessings that inspire and encourage others. In this way, I help bring harmony to each interaction and peace to the world.

Do not repay evil for evil or abuse for abuse; but, on the contrary, repay with a blessing.--1 Peter 3:9

Let Go Let God Be Animated

I am animated by the gifts of Spirit within.

If ever my body feels sluggish, uncomfortable or in pain, I rest in the Silence and allow the Divine to stir up the gifts of Spirit within me. I expand my vision to see beyond physical appearances and experiences. Truth is quickened in me. I view the conditions of my life from an elevated perspective. I am lifted out of the doldrums and infused with new energy and vitality, free of burdens and negative beliefs.

Animated with renewed hope and positive expectation, I experience greater appreciation for life and for the gifts of Spirit within me. As I go through my day, I choose enlivening thoughts and express myself in energized, purposeful and spirited ways.

Everyone whose spirit God had stirred--got ready to go up and rebuild the house of the Lord in Jerusalem.--Ezra 1:5

Let Go Let God Equality

I am one with the family of God.

While I may do some things better than another person, they may do other things better than me. We each have unique strengths and qualities, but we are equally worthy and valuable.

Equality doesn't mean being the same as everyone else. It means we are unique in our differences, yet one at heart. We depend on one another to fill in the gaps. We look to our spiritual nature to show us our oneness.

I acknowledge the strengths and special gifts of my fellow human beings, lifting others up rather than tearing anyone down. I may do some things better than you. You may do some things better than me, but together we make a formidable team.

Not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ.--Romans 12:4-5

Let Go Let God Find Inner Peace

My divine connection brings inner peace.

Peace is an inside job. It begins inside me. If I notice that I've become disturbed or agitated, I can take action to bring myself back into alignment with Divine Peace.

I close my eyes, breathe in deeply and with a long, slow exhale I remember that I am a child of God. I am never alone. I feel the divine connection throughout my body. I feel relief calming any stress I was experiencing. I am at peace.

Deep and lasting inner peace comes from connecting with the Divine, moment by moment. Knowing I am one with God quickly and easily calms me, enlivens me and provides me with abiding inner peace.

For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.--Romans 14:17

Let Go Let God Forgive

Forgiveness is a gift.

Forgiveness is one of the greatest gifts I can give myself. When I let go of judgment, resentment, expectation or anger, I open my heart and my life to the experience of growth and freedom.

If I am having trouble letting go of a past hurt, I decide whether I am willing to forgive--even if I don't know how. With a willing heart, I ask Spirit for help--clarity, guidance and understanding. Through the power of Spirit within, my heart opens and my vision clears. I feel more love and compassion for others and myself because my mind and heart are no longer closed to the experience of forgiveness. As I forgive, I give myself a precious gift. I am free.

Do not judge, and you will not be judged; do not condemn, and you will not be condemned. Forgive, and you will be forgiven.--Luke 6:37

Let Go Let God Through Transition

I move forward through change.

While change is inevitable, my response or reaction to change is up to me. How can I best prepare myself for change, and how can I make the most of it?

Change is a transition from one thing, one place, one state of mind to another. I am evolving from what was to what is. I am becoming more than I was before. Just as my view changed as I transitioned from childhood to adulthood, I now see that I am gaining a new perspective during this transition.

I may be stepping into unfamiliar territory, but this step is an opportunity to grow in spiritual awareness. With each shift or change in my life, I am moving forward.

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child ...; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways.--1 Corinthians 13:11

Let Go Let God with Commitment

I am committed to my highest good.

From time to time, I establish new personal goals. I begin by making a commitment to myself. Fulfilling promises, even to myself, is one way I live in integrity. If I have a setback, I recommit. Even if I must do so again and again, I remember that Spirit will help me fulfill any prayerful and sincere promise I make to myself.
Through the power of God within me, I can accomplish whatever I set my mind and heart to do. I am divinely inspired, and through that inspiration, I find the strength and resolve to accomplish my intentions.
I envision the result and imagine the feeling of a job well done. My faith and confidence grow with each goal I achieve. I am committed to my highest good.
Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.--Mark 11:24

Let Go Let God Be Free

It is not I, but the Christ within who does the work.

Sometimes I get so busy working out my problems that I neglect to connect with the power of the Christ within and let it work for me. Depending too much on my own efforts plunges me into fatigue and failure. Quietly and confidently, I relax my personal endeavor and lay hold of the Christ power, which never tires or fails.

The Christ within frees me from striving, stress or strain. Tension is released when I let Spirit work in and through me. My connection to the power of the Christ is strengthened when I am relaxed and open.

Free and unrestrained, I allow the flow of divine guidance, energy, intelligence and power to work through me. Nothing is up to me alone. I turn within to the Christ for help with everything. As I do, I am liberated.

Christ is all and in all!--Colossians 3:11

Let Go Let God It Is That Simple

Wherever I am, God is.

The path to God is not long or difficult or complex. Wherever I am, whatever I am doing, I pause and bring awareness to the One Spirit that is within me.

I open my mind to the thought of One Creative Energy enlivening me and the world. I open my heart to the One Love that is the essence of life. This love, God's love, is within us all. Whether others judge moments in my life as accomplishment or failure, I treasure most the moments I am being God's love in expression.

Spirit needs no books or rituals, wealth or architecture, to reveal itself. It is as intimate as a touch and as vast as the infinity of space. I am at peace in the simple knowing that wherever I am, God is.

For what can be known about God is plain.--Romans 1:19

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

The healing presence of Spirit fills every cell of my being.

I call forth the healing activity within each cell of my body. Observing my state of mind, physical activity and nutrition, I identify any patterns that are not in support of my highest good. With help from Spirit within, I have the strength to release unhealthy habits and establish new ones in alignment with divine wholeness.

Throughout the day, I mindfully practice an expectancy of and gratitude for wholeness and peace of mind. My body and mind are empowered to restore, resurrect and function with new life, strength and vitality. The powerful healing presence of Spirit touches every cell of my being. I am healed and brimming with zest for life.

On the day I called, you answered me, you increased my strength of soul. --Psalm 138:3

Let Go Let God Be Cheerful

I am co-creating a happy world.

Endowed by my Creator with a full range of emotions to experience all of life, I may feel happy or sad, excited or pensive in any given moment. No matter the circumstances, I have the divine capacity to live in joy, which is more than an emotion; it is a way of being in the world.

I make a difference in the lives of those around me when I meet a frown with a smile, a complaint with a compliment, or a tear with an encouraging word. I affect the lives of others, and I am also affected deeply.

With every optimistic word and every smile, I choose to live in a cheerful world. Infused with the divine power to choose my attitude, outlook and expression, I am co-creating a happy life.

A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance.--Proverbs 15:13

Let Go Let God in Harmony

I am aware of the unifying harmony of God's love.

When listening to a symphony, I hear a harmonious blend of notes that is music to my ears. It resonates within me peacefully. But when a note is out of place or an instrument is out of tune, I hear a discordance that sounds unpleasant.
The harmony of a symphony is like my relationship with God. When I am attuned to God, I feel peace, for I am in harmony with Divine Love. I feel this Love and experience it in every area of my life. When I experience discord in my thoughts or circumstances, it feels unpleasant. It is a reminder to return to the harmony of Love.
Resting in awareness of Divine Love, I experience inner joy. This joy empowers me to face each day with strength and hope.

Clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.--Colossians 3:14

Let Go Let God and Learn

I am in tune with infinite intelligence.
Whether I am a student trying to comprehend a textbook, an employee learning the requirements of a new job, or a fledgling driver learning to drive a car, I remember there is only one Mind--Divine Mind--and this Mind is in all.
Whatever I may be learning, the process is easier and simpler if I remember that Divine Mind gives me the power to learn and comprehend. I find it easy to learn new things when I keep myself in tune with infinite intelligence.
I am lifted out of fear and tension as I attune myself with Divine Mind. I am free from any feeling of inadequacy. God's Spirit of success is within me, and I am capable of succeeding at whatever I choose to learn.
We have the mind of Christ.--1 Corinthians 2:16

Let Go Let God in a Community

I am a beneficial presence in my community.

I am often part a group--my family, colleagues at work, fellow passengers on a plane or subway, or neighbors at the local store. In every situation, I create community as I share and seek to discover the common threads that weave us together.

I commit to being a beneficial presence in my community. I make connections and demonstrate the qualities I wish to experience. When I see love, I reflect it back. When I see sadness or anger, I embrace the individuals with compassion. When I see conflict or confusion, I center myself in the calm peace of God within so that I may be divinely guided to the right words and actions. My community is uplifted as I act with peace and love.

O magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together. --Psalm 34:3

Let Go Let God in a New Year on a New Day

I make room for new ideas.

A new day, a new year, a new beginning! Today everyone is thinking in terms of newness. We may feel as if we have emerged out of an old world into a new one, as if we are taking hold of a new life, as if the very Spirit of newness is alive in us.

I dedicate this day to new ideas, new viewpoints and renewed living. I leave behind outgrown thoughts of past limitations and lack. I let go of old grudges and outdated viewpoints. Fresh ideas refresh my mind. I make room for new, vital, healthy and prosperous ideas.

My world is new as I respond to life in a new way. I see people and situations in a new light. I begin today by acknowledging the Spirit of newness within me, and I am renewed in mind, body and spirit.

Sing to him a new song.--Psalm 33:3
