Let Go Let God in Recovery

I am courageous and strong.

My faith in the constructive, restoring, and rebuilding power of God within me ignites my healing and recovery. My faith strengthens me and empowers me to overcome mishaps or misjudgments and to make new choices that expand my life in positive ways. Through the power and presence of God, I have the ability to recover from health issues, financial difficulties, or habits that have been harmful to me. I don’t shrink from life’s challenges; instead, I rise to them. I make choices that help me live a healthier and happier life. I am an overcomer, moving forward with courage. As I do, my world expands and I live the life I have dreamed.

Be strong and of good courage, and act.—1 Chronicles 28:20

Let Go Let God in Joy

I am one with Spirit, one with joy.

Nothing surpasses the joy of Spirit; nothing is stronger than the indwelling Divine Presence. Joy is always available, regardless of outer conditions, other people, or adverse circumstances. If I ever lose touch with inner joy, if I ever feel discouraged that life does not seem to be going my way, I simply bring myself back to center. I look within to find that joy has never left me. I am loved. I am strong. I am one with God in every way. My sense of joy returns as I allow my consciousness to rise to an awareness of Spirit’s unmovable presence and power. Joy is as natural to me as breathing and smiling, because Spirit is with and within me at all times.

God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness.—Hebrews 1:9

Let Go, Let God

I let go and let the light of God shine.

If I ever feel weighed down with responsibility, I consider whether I have unduly taken on the cares and concerns of others. Do I feel responsible for their success and well-being? God is the One Source, available to meet every need for everyone. Each of us has access to divine wisdom, strength, creativity, understanding, and love. God is in relationship with each of us.I pray for my loved ones and release them to the path unfolding for their highest good. My focus is on my relationship with the Divine. Guided by God, I do my part with joy and peace. Beholding the Divine power in myself and others, I let go and know God is there for us all.

Trust in him at all times, O people; pour out your heart before him; God is a refuge for us.—Psalm 62:8

Let Go Let God for Inner Peace

Divine peace calms my mind & lifts my spirit.

I declare peace in my life today by choosing peace-filled thoughts. If I have been dwelling on worries, regrets, or deadlines, I stop, take a breath, and imagine a tranquil scene. I see myself sitting by the ocean, taking a walk in the woods, or meditating in a quiet, sacred space. My body relaxes and any tension fades into nothingness. I bless myself with these moments of peace, which lift my spirit, enhance my creativity, and focus my mind. Remaining attuned to divine peace, I am undisturbed in any circumstance. As peace emanates from within, I impart calm and composure to the situations of my life. My serenity spreads to others. Peace begets peace.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.—2 Thessalonians 3:16

Let Go Let God Glow

I am aglow with vibrant life.

To function at optimum health, I nourish myself with nutritious food and drink, plenty of exercise, and time for renewal and rest. Such care and attention feels good in the moment and pays dividends for years to come. My healthy body knows exactly what to do, and I support it. I voice encouraging and uplifting words to and about myself, rather than criticism or fear. Whether positive or negative, the thoughts and words I tell myself also feed my body. Positive self-talk invigorates and supports my intention to maintain a vibrant, healthy body. I am physically and spiritually alive and well. I am wonderfully aglow with light, life, and vitality.

I pray that … you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.—3 John 1:2

Let Go Let God in Meditation

In meditation, I connect with my source.

Meditation is a deep and powerful way of connecting to the Divine, realizing oneness with All That Is, and allowing the deepest desires of my soul to surface. I begin my meditation by choosing a quiet place and time of day. I sit comfortably for a period of time. I close my eyes, relax my palms on my lap, and breathe naturally. I may contemplate or repeat a spiritual idea or scripture. Should my attention wander, I gently return it to that idea or refocus my attention on my breath. I am still and silent, as I connect directly with the Source of my being. Concluding with an affirmation or prayer of gratitude, I am ready for the day ahead.

The meditation of my heart shall be understanding.–Psalm 49:3

Let Go Let God with Patience

With energy and strength, I wait.

Patience is an act of confidence that all is unfolding as it should—even when the process takes longer than I had hoped or expected. Patience is not laziness or indifference. I don’t have to push or force a result in order to feel as if I am making progress. But just as a farmer cannot hurry or worry a harvest into existence, I cannot rush results that must unfold in their own time. True patience is a silent energy, one that restores and strengthens. I deny power to any feelings of doubt or impatience, and while I wait, I pray. I stay focused on the present moment, comforted by a quiet faith, and patiently expecting the greater good to come.

May you be made strong … and may you be prepared to endure everything with patience.—Colossians 1:11

Let Go Let God in Trust

I open my life as I trust the wisdom of God.

It can sometimes be difficult for human beings to trust one another. Trust requires willingness to surrender and to be open and vulnerable. In learning to trust, I begin by trusting the Divine within. By placing my trust in God, I will never be led astray. This does not mean that I adopt a passive attitude. Rather, it means being alert and responsive to divine wisdom and discernment, to love and beauty, to divine order and truth. As I do, I learn to trust myself to judge rightly and act on the wisdom that I receive. Spirit will guide me to people and experiences that bless me, and I will find others with whom I feel comfortable sharing my thoughts, ideas, and feelings. As I trust, a world of blessings opens up to me.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.—Psalm 56:3

Let Go Let God in the Light

I live in the light of God.

The sunlight that awakens me on a summer morning is bright and encouraging. Its radiance beckons me into a day of abundant possibilities. The indwelling light of God is constant. It leads me on a path to my highest good, providing direction when I am unsure what to do. To find this inner light, I center my heart and mind on the love of God; my path becomes clear. God is my light, my strength, and my hope. I trust the light of God within to awaken me to my full potential. With divine light shining in me, I am strong and confident. I live in the light of God. Each day is like a bright summer day in which all things are possible.

Indeed, you are my lamp, O Lord, the Lord lightens my darkness.—2 Samuel 22:29

Let Go Let God Celebrate Summer

I celebrate the radiance of Summer.

For those of us in the northern hemisphere, today is summer solstice, the longest day of the year. In many cultures, it is a day of celebration. I celebrate, too, by giving thanks for the sun and its life-giving warmth for our planet. I honor God’s creation by enjoying its beauty. I go outside today to celebrate my connection with nature. I walk through a garden or park, ride a bicycle, play a game outdoors, or simply sit in the sun. I feel the joy of God in all nature. I breathe the fresh air, bask in the warmth of the sun, and enjoy the beauty of this day. I revel in the bounty of creation!

So I commend enjoyment, for there is nothing better for people under the sun than to eat, and drink, and enjoy themselves, for this will go with them in their toil through the days of life.—Ecclesiastes 8:15

Let Go Let God in Awakening

I awaken to love.

Feeling alone or unloved can seem like living in a cold, dark cave. Awakening to the ever-present light and love of God brings us out of that empty place into the brilliant, warm sunlight. In prayer, I relax into a willingness to accept the love of God. I pray: I let go of any thought of being unlovable or unworthy. I accept the love of God. I express the love of God. I am the love of God! Where there was once darkness, a light now shines. These words of truth awaken in me the realization of a love I do not need to earn, a love that has been with me always. I am, have been, and always will be enfolded in divine love, just for being me. I am worthy. I am loved!

God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.—1 John 4:16

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I confidently follow Divine Guidance

When I reach a fork in the road, I may sometimes resist what I know is the right path for me. Perhaps I am afraid to take the next step, unsure of what lies ahead. Yet I am not alone on my life’s journey. Spirit is my trusty guide. Divine guidance unfolds in recognizable ways. It is clear and unmistakable to me; it is always for the highest good of me and all concerned. Everything necessary for success is provided in divine order. Releasing any fear or resistance, I trust in divine guidance. Calm and confident, I move forward, learn, and grow. The right and perfect outcome is unfolding.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths.—Proverbs 3:5-6

Let Go Let God in Prosperity

I prosper by attuning to Spirit.

As an expression of God, I am endowed with all I need to live a prosperous life. Love, Life, Abundance, and Peace—these are the gifts of Spirit. As I attune to Spirit, I prosper. I live from Love, the essence of my being, and enjoy healthy relationships. I live from Life, my innate wholeness, and take good care of my body. I live from Abundance, an endless supply of ideas and opportunities for my good. I live from Peace, which guides me through any conflict. Firmly rooted in the gifts of Spirit, I know without a doubt I am blessed. I am meant to live a fulfilling, prosperous life. I am a divine creation, blessed with all I need to live abundantly.

If you know these things, you are blessed if you do them.—John 13:17

Let Go let God in World Peace

I set an example for peace in the world.

World peace is born from peace in our hearts and in our households. I foster peace within me by maintaining my spiritual practice. I observe my thoughts, feelings, and words and commit to my personal growth and healing. If I do not feel at peace, I seek to understand my true needs and fulfill them in a conscious and compassionate way, which nurtures peace of mind. I work to resolve any conflict with others through respectful and honest communication. I speak my needs and listen with my heart. I welcome opportunities to understand any differences. Peace begins with me. The example I set and the energy I radiate cultivate peace on earth.

Whatever house you enter, first say, “Peace to this house!”–Luke 10:5

Let Go Let God Now

I live in the present moment.

Life takes on new meaning as I understand the power of the present moment, which is God’s eternal now. All that has gone before has brought me to this moment. I realize the futility of past regrets and let them go. To live fully in the present, I must also realize that the future is only a concept and its mysteries cannot be known. My readiness for what lies ahead depends on what I make of today’s opportunities. I put my energy and focus on making the most of what is before me right now. The present brings me new opportunities to serve, love, forgive, understand, and grow. I am inspired to think in new ways and step out in new directions.

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.—Psalm 118:24

Let Go Let God with a Father's Blessing

With love and appreciation, I bless my father.

As we express love to our family members, we are channels for the love of God. Today we love and honor our fathers and the father figures in our lives. Whether they are with us in person or spirit, we express our love and appreciation. We remember what these men have taught us, what they have shared, and what we have experienced with them. We hold them in prayer, knowing prayer is not limited by time or space. If for any reason we have felt alienated from our father, we allow the forgiving love of God to heal whatever may have kept us from understanding and loving each other. We let the love of God express through us.

The Lord bless you and keep you … the Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.—Numbers 6:24, 26

Let Go Let God in Comfort

I am never alone.

The lights in the night sky remind me of my infinite connection with All That Is. As I allow my thoughts to turn away from the day’s events, I focus on the truth that I am one with God, one with all life. This brings me comfort. Gazing at the heavens filled with distant stars and planets, I see my life from a cosmic perspective. I feel my divine connection with these many little dots in the sky. I am comforted by my powerful connection with Spirit and the knowledge that I am never alone. The lights of the heavens shine upon me. The wisdom of Spirit is my guide. The strength of Spirit is my support. The peace of Spirit lies deep within me. I am surrounded and enfolded in God’s ever-present love.

I, I am he who comforts you.—Isaiah 51:12

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

As I pray for others, I am richly blessed.

As I bear witness to Truth for others, I cannot help but experience its power myself. Prayer awakens in me a profound knowing of the infinite power and presence of God.
When I affirm another’s prosperity, my assurance in Spirit’s infinite supply is deepened. As I bless those who may have hurt me, I reinforce the healing power of grace and forgiveness in my life. As I hold in consciousness another’s wholeness and well-being, I recognize the strength and vitality of God in me. As I faithfully proclaim another’s joy, my own heart is opened to receive it. As I pray for others, I recognize more fully the rich bounty of my own existence, and I am blessed.

My God will fully satisfy every need of yours according to his riches.—Philippians 4:19

Let Go Let God Await Discovery

God’s world awaits my discovery.

As the school year comes to a close, students are filled with a sense of anticipation. I, too, am excited about what is to come in my own life. What new experiences await me? What can I discover about myself and the world? I take a moment to become consciously aware of my surroundings, even that which may seem insignificant. As I notice a squirrel scurrying about, a couple holding hands, or the laughter of friends at an afternoon picnic, I note how God shows up in the everyday activities of life. God’s world awaits my discovery! I seize every opportunity to notice and appreciate it. I am constantly learning and growing. I am filled with exuberance for life.

When you search for me, you will find me; if you seek me with all your heart.—Jeremiah 29:13

Let Go Let God Be Free

I choose freedom, and I soar!

When a butterfly leaves its chrysalis, it abandons its former way of life. The transition takes time as the newly formed butterfly waits for its wings to dry. Once ready, it takes flight, leaving old ways behind as it soars freely. Like the butterfly, I may find that my freedom from a former way of life takes time. I cocoon myself in prayer and meditation. I consciously let go of old thoughts, ideas, and habits that keep me from the full expression of who I am. I let go of the past and live in the present. I am no longer held back by fear of failure or defeat. Through the power and presence of God within, I am free to soar through the garden of life.

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters.—Galatians 5:13

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

I am healthy, whole, and well.

Words of truth connect me with my innate wholeness, so I speak these words to my body, mind, and soul: I am healthy, whole, and well. God is my strength; I cannot fail. I am born of God, born to wholeness and vitality. If someone greets me with the question, “How are you?” I respond, “I am well.” Hearing myself affirm the truth reminds me that I am indeed whole and well. When I acknowledge my innate wholeness, I become a free channel for the healing power of Spirit to flow. As I affirm my wholeness and read words that empower and enrich my life, Truth fills my heart and mind, and I am healed.

My child, be attentive to my words … For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.—Proverbs 4:20, 22

Let Go Let God Envision

As I believe, I gratefully receive.

The power of imagination is an amazing gift from God. With faith, I visualize what I want to manifest in my life. Sending forth a powerful affirmative prayer, I picture in detail what I seek to create. My vision is specific, broad-reaching, and impactful. By seeing the result first in mind, I generate the feelings that accompany success. I may feel a sense of pride, relief, or joy as I envision a favorable outcome. I am grateful for what I know will be achieved. I internalize that sensation, and whenever I imagine my goal, the positive feelings return. When my good comes to fruition, I welcome it with appreciation and joy. As I believe, I gratefully receive.

Whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.—Mark 11:24

Let Go Let God with Illumination

The Holy Spirit is active in me.

If ever my faith or understanding feels inadequate or I do not know what to do, I become still and meditate on the power of the Holy Spirit within. I never need to feel as if any situation is impossible, for the power of the Holy Spirit is active in me, revealing Truth to me whenever and however I need it. My mind is illumined through divine ideas flowing continually from the mind of God. I make use of these ideas by acting on them as they come to me and by being open and receptive to divine understanding. As I affirm my faith, the power of the Holy Spirit becomes active in me and my way is made clear.

This is the Spirit of truth … You know him, because he abides with you, and he will be in you.—John 14:17

Let Go Let God Restore

Quiet moments of contemplation restore my soul.

As I enter into a time of contemplation, I pause from the activities of the day, quiet my thoughts, and focus on these ideas. My breathing slows and my body relaxes. This sacred time is like a peaceful valley nestled between rugged mountain peaks—a pause for renewal and rest. For these few moments, I set aside the demands of the day. I am at peace and at ease. If I long for greater simplicity in my life, I begin by making room for times of quiet contemplation. I carve out moments in my daily routine and make a commitment to spend them in communion with Spirit. This simple act reaps bountiful rewards. I find restoration and peace.

He leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.—Psalm 23:2-3

Let Go Let God for Dynamic Living

My life makes a positive difference in the world.

Each of us is given many gifts. As we discover them, we must put them into action. Jesus lived a dynamic and inspiring life. Through his works we know of his many gifts. We, too, are known by the dynamic expression of our spiritual gifts. I choose to share the gift of unconditional love. With a smile, a word of encouragement, or a helping hand, I create a ripple of love. I choose to share the gift of divine wisdom. As I respond to others with compassion and forgiveness, tense situations are transformed into opportunities for growth. I give of my time and talents and take every opportunity to make a positive difference in the world. My God-given gifts empower me to lead a dynamic life.

For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is also dead.—James 2:26

Let Go Let God Forgive

I forgive and make a fresh start.

Mountain climbing with a heavy pack is difficult and burdensome, especially if the pack is full of unnecessary items. That’s how it feels when I carry the weight of resentment or anger with me day after day. Yet through the practice of forgiveness, I am able to let these burdens go. In prayer, I release to God all grudges, resentment, and unforgiving thoughts I may have held against others. I ask for relief and willingly let go of any sorrows from the past so I am open to the blessings of today. Through forgiveness, I free myself to enjoy life fully. My load is lightened and my burden is lifted. Today is a new day, a time to make a fresh start, a day filled with unlimited good.

If you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.—Matthew 6:14

Let Go Let God Be Young At Heart

I am fearless about my bright future.

No matter the date on my birth certificate, I am ageless! My life is renewed with every breath, with every new moment. I do not allow my biological age to define or restrict me. In Spirit, I am unlimited and fully capable of great achievements no matter when I was born. I gently relinquish any fears I may have about the aging process. I do not lament natural changes taking place in my body. I remain young at heart by maintaining a positive attitude, which inspires me to think, act, and appear youthful. I am free to live a joyful, graceful, and continually refreshed life, for at any age, in Spirit, I am ageless!

The righteous flourish like the palm tree, and grow like a cedar in Lebanon. They are planted in the house of the Lord ... In old age they still produce fruit.—Psalm 92:12-14

Let Go Let God with Wisdom

I see the world clearly from my heart and soul.

Wisdom is more than intellectual discernment or logic; it comes from the heart and soul. With wisdom, I look beyond appearances and perceive the divine potential inherent within every circumstance and every person, including myself. Through my prayer practice, I develop and strengthen my ability to make wise choices. I connect with Source and open my heart and mind to possibilities I did not recognize before. A daily connection with my divine nature helps me listen deeply, see clearly, choose wisely, and advance joyfully. From within the sweet silence of prayer, new possibilities arise and my capacity for wise discernment grows.

You desire truth in the inward being; therefore teach me wisdom in my secret heart.—Psalm 51:6

Let Go Let God on the Path

I am an adventurous, faith-filled, courageous explorer.

Poet James Dillet Freeman wrote, “Life is a road that winds among the hills of time. With every turn in the road, an old view vanishes, a new view appears. Life is a pilgrimage, a passage through eternity, a journey ...” Sometimes my path is smooth. Other times I may stumble over obstacles or tire from the climb. No matter how steep or winding the course, I follow the path before me. I know that through every twist and turn of life, God is with and within me as my light and guide. Each day calls me to journey with God in confidence and to grow in spiritual understanding. I am an adventurous, faith-filled, courageous explorer with a fresh new day on the horizon.

You show me the path of life.—Psalm 16:11

Let Go Let God Thrive

I thrive from the inside out!

Just as wild flowers bloom and flourish on a rocky mountainside, my life can thrive in less-than-ideal conditions. It is not outer but inner conditions that determine my health and well-being. At the center of me is God—the very wellspring of life, the source of all good, all love, all life, and all joy. I am most at peace when I stop struggling to change outer conditions and turn within. As I attune to the harmonious vibration of Divine Love, I feel utmost joy. I experience complete satisfaction as I am filled with the enormity of Infinite Spirit. I am restored and uplifted. Within me is all the wisdom I need to make loving, life-affirming choices. Within me is all I need to thrive!

To get wisdom is to love oneself; to keep understanding is to prosper.—Proverbs 19:8
