Let Go Let God Now

I Find My Power in this Very Moment.

There is power in this very moment. Yesterday is past and tomorrow is not yet here. There is only this moment, ripe with promise and potential, ready for me to live into it fully. Through my many divine gifts, everything I need to get started is within me. I need not wait for the perfect moment to arrive because there is no time more perfect than now and no place more perfect than here. Procrastination has no place in my life. I fritter away my energy when I find reasons not to get started, losing my zeal and focus and inviting frustration into my life. Today I claim the power of the present and say “This is the day I begin!” Now is the time to begin, to serve, to forgive, to create, and to love.

See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!—2 Corinthians 6:2

Let Go Let God Give Self-Care

I Give Myself Love and Care.

The care and attention I give myself helps me claim my worth and give myself love. Just as I care for others, I also care for myself because I, too, am worthy of loving attention and support. Yet, I may find it more difficult to care for myself than for others. I might resist the idea of self-care or think I do not have enough time or money for it. I make time for pleasures as simple as laughing or stretching. I care for my spirit with prayer and by reading and speaking affirmations and scripture. I encourage myself for the small changes I make because every act of self-care demonstrates my belief in my worth as a spiritual being.

Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? Yet not one of them is forgotten in God's sight. But even the hairs of your head are all counted. Do not be afraid; you are of more value than many sparrows.–Luke 12:6-7

Let Go Let God Embark

I Reach For New Opportunities With Enthusiasm.

Today I rekindle my faith in the power of new beginnings. No matter what I am about to embark on, I bring great enthusiasm to it. I push past any fears or trepidation that have been holding me back and keeping me in my comfort zone. I believe in the power of passion and that my gifts and talents will carry me far. I embrace a beginner’s mind and heart as I embark on new opportunities. I trust the people I meet, the places I go, and things I learn will help me be ready, willing, and more than able to do everything I am called to do. Aware of the power, life, and love of the Divine within me, I am grateful for everything that has led me to be ready to embark on each of my new beginnings.

I am about to do a new thing; now it springs forth, do you not perceive it?—Isaiah 43:19

Let Go Let God Choose to Forgive

I Choose the Path of Forgiveness.

Forgiveness is a process that begins, however humbly, with the decision to forgive. I begin with willingness, but sometimes even that feels difficult. I do not try to rush the process, trusting the power of divine love within to free me from unforgiveness if I remain willing to forgive. When I’m ready, I allow myself to process any resentment I am holding on to. I might feel sad or angry for a while. Although this step may seem negative at first, staying with it gives me clarity. Getting real and honest about what I am feeling is an effective way to begin to let go of any hurt or anger. Forgiveness is a gift that I give to myself as I embrace my willingness to release resentments and free my heart.

Then Jesus said, “Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing.”—Luke 23:34

Let Go Let God Express Gratitude

I Am Grateful In All Things.

I awaken each morning grateful for the gift of a new day and the infinite possibilities that lie before me. Acknowledging my blessings fills me with vitality and enthusiasm for all the good in my life. Simply resting in gratitude for a few moments lifts my spirits and reminds me that wherever I am, God is. As a unique expression of the Divine, I am called to demonstrate the fullness of who I am. Nobody else can do this for me. As I take charge of my time and energy, I am better able to see the beauty in this day, my life, and my relationships. I find the seed of good within any challenge or difficulty I encounter. I nurture that good with faith, nonresistance, and a positive attitude. Grateful for my oneness with God, I continually grow in spiritual understanding.

Father, I thank you for having heard me. I knew that you always hear me.—John 11:41-42

Let Go Let God Know Mindfulness

I Am Fully Present.

Concentration can feel elusive when too many things tug on my attention at once. When I feel scattered, it’s difficult to perform any task to completion, time is always bearing down, and I feel tense and unhappy. Today I resolve to make a new choice. I focus my attention wholeheartedly and mindfully. I begin by immersing myself in the deep colors of a velvety sunrise. I draw the fresh morning air into my lungs and exhale fully. I nourish myself with healthy food and slowly savor each bite. As I give my fullest attention to my tasks, errands, and conversations, time expands. I feel myself relax into the flow that comes from being fully present. Mindfulness sets me free.

Then pay attention to how you listen; for to those who have, more will be given; and from those who do not have, even what they seem to have will be taken away.—Luke 8:18

Let Go Let God Guide Healing

Vitality and Well-Being Are Mine.

My body is blessed with the ability to heal itself throughout my life. The infinite intelligence of Spirit guides the processes of my body and brings about well-being and vitality. Through this intelligent process, my body is renewed, and I feel invigorated and restored. I spend time in prayer daily, blessing every aspect of my being. I take time to release and let go of limiting thinking and habits that would block the flow of good. Attuned to the divine life within, I direct healing energy to every organ, tissue, and cell. I affirm silently or aloud, My natural state is one of wholeness. I now claim vitality and well-being. Divine life energy harmonizes and energizes every cell of my body, and I am grateful.

In him was life, and the life was the light of all people.—John 1:4

Let Go Let God Realize Oneness

I Am Divine.

Over the years I have learned there is a spark of divinity within me and within all people. This divine spark binds us as members of one family and deepens our awareness of God. Today, my understanding of my divinity expands. My divine nature is so much more than a spark. It is my essence, who I truly am. I realize I don’t have to rely on anything outside myself for love, comfort, and guidance. Everything I could ever need from God is already mine and is expressing as meMy realization of oneness extends to all people, whom I now see as fellow divine beings. Freed from all illusion of separation, I am aware of the divine presence everywhere expressing through everyone. We are divine.

That they may all be one. As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us.—John 17:21

Let Go Let God In Faith

I Let Go in Faith and Trust My Spiritual Source.

Faith is the power that frees me to let go of personal control. I do not have to manage my own way through everything. A wise grandmother once told her grandson, “Don’t boss the job.” She was telling him to trust his indwelling spiritual power. The perfect power of his divinity would direct him to perfect outcomes. His only call to action was to yield to that power. As I yield to my spiritual source, I trust my highest and best outcomes are unfolding for me. With faith, I surrender and find myself guided in ways that may surprise me. I release my need to have everything figured out in advance. Calling upon my faith, I trust in the perfection, intelligence, and love of the Divine.

For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.—1 John 5:4

Let Go Let God Aspire

I Aspire to Reach New Horizons.

Sometimes I feel content with everything in my life—family, friends, neighborhood, career, and leisure pursuits—yet still harbor a vague, persistent feeling that I’m being called to reach for something new. I pay attention to my dreams, impressions, and thoughts, and I act upon any guidance I discern. In faith and with confidence, I heed this call and aspire to climb higher and achieve new things. As I do, I fulfill the call of my soul and grow an ever-deeper awareness of myself, my gifts and passions, and the unique ways the Divine expresses as me. My aspirations are always leading me in the direction of growth, expansion, and expression. As I answer the call, I grow into the highest, clearest expression of my divinity.

A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you.—Ezekiel 36:26

Let Go Let God Remain Calm

My Calmness Blesses the World Around Me.

I may not have control over the events of the world, but I have control over my reactions to what happens within and outside of me. Making this realization helps me remain calm and peaceful in all situations. My calm bearing has a soothing effect on everyone I encounter. As I go about my day, I meet unexpected delays with patience, misunderstandings with humor, and disappointments with optimism. My spiritual tools of prayer, meditation, surrender, and forgiveness keep my mind and heart focused on my oneness with God. My open heart and trusting soul engender calm as I train my thoughts on the enduring reality of the Divine within and all around me.

He woke up and rebuked the wind, and said to the sea, “Peace! Be still!” Then the wind ceased, and there was a dead calm.—Mark 4:39

Let Go Let God All Is In Divine Order

My Life and My World are in Divine Order.

If I am feeling impatient, confused, or unsure of what my next steps should be, I pause to breathe deeply and affirm divine order. Thinking and speaking these words reminds me that I am not merely hoping for a positive outcome, I am placing my faith in the orderly process of manifestation. Divine order assures me the perfect solution already exists and my highest good is on its way. I do not worry about what the future holds. Instead, I relax in the knowledge that tomorrow is the open door for the highest blessing, which is already unfolding for good. My mind and heart are peaceful. Affirming divine order keeps me open to receiving fulfilling results, even if the outcome is not what I expect.

All things should be done decently and in order.—1 Corinthians 14:40

Let Go Let God Share Positivity

My Positivity Energizes Me.

Being positive means more than looking at the world through rose-colored glasses. Positivity is how I engage the world and all the people in it. I endeavor to see the best in everyone I meet and make the best of all situations. My positive demeanor reminds me that my spiritual nature is greater than any challenge I could ever face. My positivity helps me remember who I am: Spirit infinitely expressing. My mind and heart are open, and I am light and free as I continue my life’s journey. Communing with the Divine in prayer keeps me brimming with positive expectation. I am energized and enlivened as I continue to find new ways to bring my positive outlook to the world around me.

For your steadfast love is before my eyes, and I walk in faithfulness to you.—Psalm 26:3

Let Go Let God Embody World Peace

I Bless The World With My Peaceful Heart.

Looking at the world today, it is tempting to feel discouraged or even angry at the discord and disagreement that seem to surround me. I pause to remember that no matter what is going on in my environment, peace begins with me. I breathe deeply and relax, softening my heart, calming my emotions, and easing my mind. I heed the words of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., who said, “Peace is not merely a distant goal we seek, but … a means by which we arrive at that goal.” Those inspiring words keep me centered and committed to remaining peaceful. No matter how I choose to engage the world around me, I rise above anger and strife and embody peace.

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.—Colossians 3:15

Let Go Let God Dream

I Turn My Dreams Into Reality.

Some of the most audacious, bold, history-making events began as dreams, born in the imaginations of those who understood the promise and potential of humanity and worked to realize their vision. Even if my dreams do not change the world, they have the power to change my life. Today I remember those whose dreams were fueled by their hard work, faith, and determination. I look to their example when my dreams feel far away and I’m running low on hope. I rekindle my dreams through my imagination, which keeps them vivid. My strength helps me remain committed to their realization, and my zeal renews my enthusiasm to work toward creating the life—and the world—of my dreams.

Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.—Joel 2:28

Let Go Let God Live In Joy

My Heart Is Filled With Joy.

Joy abounds in me when I open myself to the beauty that surrounds me. Breathing the fresh air and feeling the sun on my skin, beholding a blue sky, listening to the rain fall—I immerse my senses in the glory of the natural world and feel joyful. This deep awareness extends to my relationships with family and friends. Honoring the divinity of those in my life helps me perceive their unique qualities and gifts and compounds the joy I feel when we are able to connect. When I live in a spirit of joy, I cultivate the light within and all around me. I am an example of joy in manifestation when I express my cheerful nature. The more joy I share with the people around me, the more joy I receive in return. The circle of sharing just builds and builds.

But let the righteous be joyful; let them exult before God; let them be jubilant with joy.—Psalm 68:3

Let Go Let God With Compassion

My Compassionate Actions Uplift Others.

The love I feel in my heart urges me to do what I can to make a positive difference in the world. The words I speak and the actions I take demonstrate my genuine concern and love for others. I recall receiving compassion during my difficult times. Today I extend that compassion when I see someone in need of it. I realize that in so many ways we are alike. We all need love and have the capacity to care for one another. Like the Good Samaritan in the Bible, I don’t ignore suffering. I may become a volunteer or choose another way to offer support. My spirit is uplifted as I give of myself. As I reach out to help, the warmth of kindness touches my heart.

You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.—Luke 10:27

Let Go Let God Celebrate Freedom

What a Joy it is to be Free to Learn and Grow.

My spiritual journey gives me many opportunities to learn, grow, and change. Just as I am not the same person I was a few years ago, I will likely be even more different years from now. I am also free to change how I think and feel as I grow. I am blessed with the freedom to choose my thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs to match where I am on my journey. I don’t have to stay mired in old ways of thinking that no longer serve me and my view of the world. My fellow spiritual travelers are likewise free to choose as they progress along their life paths. I celebrate their freedom and my own as I evolve and live more fully into my identity as a spiritual being.

When Jesus saw her, he called her over and said, “Woman, you are set free from your ailment.”—Luke 13:12

Let Go Let God Provide Comfort

The Presence of God within is my Source of Comfort and Strength.

Remembering that God is within me, now and always, helps me cope in trying and difficult situations. Life has its ups and downs, its triumphs and even tragedies. But I am able to weather any storm and be grateful in every experience when I rely on the presence of God within. I not only grow in understanding and faith, but I become more aware of my indwelling divinity that leads me on the path of peace. “I will not leave you” are words that I have said to my loved ones when they needed support or encouragement. And I feel those words deep within me now as I seek peace and comfort from my awareness of God. Knowing I do not face any situation alone is a beautiful comfort to me now and always.

I will not leave you orphaned; I am coming to you.—John 14:18

Let Go Let God Use Power for Good

I Am Filled with the Power of Spirit, and I Use My Power for Good.

Jesus and other spiritual masters taught that the power to rise above any challenge comes from within. They drew upon this power to heal, comfort, and bless, revealing that our indwelling divinity gives us this same power. No matter what comes my way, I remember God is my source. I call upon my divine powers of strength, wisdom, and will to direct my life. If my energy is low, I summon my powers of life and zeal. If I notice discord, I use my power of love to guide my words and actions. If I feel limited, I turn to my power of imagination. I have the power to live each day with purpose in my heart and mind. Focused on Spirit within, I know I can use each experience to teach me, inform my thoughts, and help me grow.

All of them, from the least to the greatest, listened to him eagerly, saying, “This man is the power of God that is called Great.”—Acts 8:10

Let Go Let God By Grace

The Grace of God Is With Me Always.

I may discover grace in an unexpected act of kindness or a positive, uplifting comment. Perhaps a fortunate turn of events brings me relief or reassurance. Moments of grace remind me I am always enveloped in the love of God. No matter the challenge I encounter, I need only remember that I am never without God. Grace is the light touch when everything around me feels heavy. I feel this touch most easily when I am trusting, open, and in tune with my spiritual nature. If God’s grace feels far away, I take it as a cue to center myself, breathe deeply, and pray. Soon, answers come to me or I receive a flash of inspiration. The gentle touch of grace has again alighted as a bird landing on a tree branch.

But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace toward me has not been in vain.—1 Corinthians 15:10

Let Go Let God Nurture Prosperity

I Claim Prosperity Now.

When I feel tempted to wish for a more prosperous life, I remember my prosperity begins at the level of my thinking. I focus my thoughts on the many blessings already in my life and feel grateful. From this place of gratitude, it becomes easy to notice more and more blessings all around me. This awareness helps me develop an attitude of prosperity. I tend to my thoughts of prosperity as though they are flowers in a garden. I plant them in good soil and nurture them with water and sunshine. This rich environment allows prospering ideas to take root and grow. As I nurture these ideas, I am abundantly blessed in life, love, health, and joy.

They feast on the abundance of your house, and you give them drink from the river of your delights.—Psalm 36:8

Let Go Let God Relax

All Is Well With My Soul.

No matter what is going on in the world around me, the state of my soul is always perfect harmony and poise. I recognize that my soul dwells in perfection, beyond time, in the infinite realm of God. I relax, knowing peace and comfort always are as near to me as my next breath. In the depths of my soul, all is well. As I meditate on this truth, I relax into the infinite presence of God. Everything in my world is expressing in perfect harmony, and my highest good is manifesting. With ease and grace, I flow with that goodness, allowing it to permeate my feelings and consciousness. I relax into this blissful communion where I know perfect peace and become aware that all is well with my soul.

My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.—Exodus 33:14

Let Go Let God Pray For Others

In Gratitude, I Pray For All.

Observing the world around me opens my eyes, my ears, and my heart to all others on this human journey. As I relax into my time of contemplation, I call to mind those I wish to bless in prayer. I envision support for the highest outcomes. Thinking of someone in my past or present, I see them finding joy, health, forgiveness—whatever they need to live their most fulfilling life. I see them blessed, healed, and prospered in all ways. My prayers release me from concern and worry, and leave me in a state of gratitude and peace. My peaceful heart calms my mind and soothes my soul, allowing me to go forth cleansed and energized. Prayer is the song my heart sings, and I am blessed to be able to pray for others.

Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.—Colossians 4:2

Let Go Let God Trust Guidance

I Trust My Innate Knowing That Is Born of Divine Wisdom.

I remember times in my life when I intuitively knew which way to turn, which steps to take, when to move forward, and when to hold back. At all my crossroads, I have heeded my inner guidance and embarked on paths that led to growth, discovery, and adventure. These memories help keep me confident and relaxed as I travel new paths and make new choices. I release any worrisome or limiting thoughts about when guidance might be revealed and what it will be. I remain open and trusting, realizing answers can come when I least expect them and through surprising sources. All I have to do is turn my attention inward, to prayerfully seek assistance I can always rely upon.

The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters never fail.—Isaiah 58:11

Let Go Let God Open to Epiphany

I Radiate My Light Into The World.

Epiphany marks the arrival of the Magi in Bethlehem. They looked to the light from a radiant star to guide them as they traveled to honor the birth of the newborn Jesus. This holiday is a beautiful reminder of the divine light that shines within my soul and guides me along my journey of expressing my spiritual nature. As I acknowledge the light of wisdom and love within, I open my mind to new realizations and ways to fulfill my deepest intentions and goals. To remember the truth of who I am, I affirm: I awaken more fully to my true essence. I joyfully move into this new year knowing every day is an opportunity to share my gifts of love, peace, joy, and wisdom with the world.

Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.—Matthew 5:16

Let Go Let God Smile

When I Smile, I Shine My Light and Share My Love.

My smile is one of the most versatile instruments in my spiritual toolbox. Smiling may indicate my mood, my openness, my availability, and my willingness to interact or share. A simple smile opens a channel for two-way communication. If I observe someone who seems apprehensive or uncertain, my smile shares the message of my heart, conveying friendliness, caring, and compassion. I can improve another person’s day with a smile, a way to let them know they are not alone. My smile also elevates me and helps keep me positive. With love in my heart, I set my intention to be the light that buoys others’ spirits and shines as peace and joy.

I smiled on them when they had no confidence; and the light of my countenance they did not extinguish.—Job 29:24

Let Go Let God Be Protected

Wrapped In Divine Love, I Am Protected.

I carry the spirit of God within me always. Knowing this, I recognize I am never alone no matter what is happening in my life. My awareness of the indwelling divine presence helps me feel protected wherever I am, no matter what may be happening around me. I know that nothing in my outer world has the power to harm me at the level of Spirit. When I feel worried or unsafe, I visualize a protective bubble around me, surrounding me with love and peace. On my journey through life, I feel securely cloaked in divine protection. Divine love gives me the strength to withstand whatever comes my way. I am safe, enfolded in God’s protection that lives in me.

He protected us along all the way that we went, and among all the peoples through whom we passed.—Joshua 24:17

Let Go Let God Fulfill Potential

Yes, I Am Able. Yes, I Can.

Growing up, I received encouragement from my family, schoolteachers, and the other adults in my life. Their positive, affirming words helped lead me to pursue my passions and trust my gifts so I might realize my potential. Now that I’m older, I turn to the Divine within me to discern how I might best fulfill my potential. I prayerfully ask what possibilities remain to be realized in my life. What ignites my passion for self-expression? I receive inspiration from the time I spend in prayer. As I pray, any lingering thoughts of doubt or insecurity are replaced with renewed energy and enthusiasm. Nothing can stop me from stepping out boldly into the world to fulfill my potential.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.—Philippians 4:13

Let Go Let God Affirm Inner Peace

Letting Go of Expectations Gives Me Peace.

My goals and aspirations have led me to achieve great things in my life. My practices of meditation, prayer, and speaking affirmations have helped me make my dreams come true, often in ways I couldn’t have imagined. I remember this if I start to worry about whether situations will work out a certain way. Attachment to outcomes can cause me to feel anxious and rob me of my peace. I settle my mind by going within and remembering the infinite power of God. I breathe deeply and feel peaceful as I surrender my desires in prayer. I affirm: Peace is mine and all is well. Free of my attachments, inner peace and calm return to my mind and heart.

Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.—Philippians 4:9

Let Go Let God It Is A New Year

Living From My Divine Nature, I Begin Again.

Whether a new year or a new day, I am free to make a fresh start. Every moment offers a new beginning and a chance to rediscover who I really am. As I stand at the threshold of a new year, I remember God is within and make a commitment to live from my spiritual nature. Seeking to live more fully as a divine being, I grow more mindful of my thoughts and actions. When I notice they are not in alignment with love, I try not to dwell on them or judge myself. Instead, I return to Spirit. Like pushing a reset button, I center my mind and my heart in the Truth of my oneness with God and begin again. I connect with the loving presence within me, and I express more and more of my divine self.

See, the former things have come to pass, and new things I now declare.—Isaiah 42:9
