Let Go Let God Be Filled With Joy

One With God, I Am Filled With Limitless Joy.

Joy fills my soul. Affirming these words each morning sets my intention for a positive day of ease and grace. As the day progresses, I may get swept up in activity or knocked off my spiritual center. When this happens, I take a brief break and affirm: Joy fills my soul. I take these words into my heart and return to joy. At the end of the day, I wind down and relax, once again affirming: Joy fills my soul. Like a healing balm that soothes me from the inside, these words fill my mind and body. I focus my thoughts on joy and love—love for myself and joy for life. Joy truly does fill my soul. I am one with God. This is my truth, today and every day.

They lift up their voices, they sing for joy; they shout from the west over the majesty of the Lord.—Isaiah 24:14

Let Go Let God Provide Prosperity

The Infinite Abundance Of God Is My Spiritual Inheritance.

Worldly conditions may change from day to day, and my fortunes may ebb and flow, but my connection with God is steady and sure. With God as my source, I am one with the world’s abundance. As a divine being, I have access to divine ideas, the seeds of my prosperity. In prayer, I release my limited pictures and specific outcomes so the greater good can manifest. Through forgiveness, I let go of anything preventing me from knowing the compassionate love of God as the root of my abundance. I am aligned with the presence of God within. My focus is not on the things of the world—it is on the Divine and my place in the flow of infinite prosperity.

And God is able to provide you with every blessing in abundance, so that by always having enough of everything, you may share abundantly in every good work.—2 Corinthians 9:8

Let Go, Let God

I Bravely Release Outworn Behaviors And Embrace My Bright, Brilliant Future.

Holding on to what no longer serves me because it is familiar and I’ve grown accustomed to it may stall my growth. I evolve much more quickly when I trust my guidance and release old patterns and behaviors. In my heart, I know that when I move away from a dysfunctional relationship, a negative attitude, or unhealthy way of living, I move toward something greater—peace, safety, harmony, freedom, and fulfillment. I let go of anxiety or fear and open myself to happiness and security. I breathe in freedom. My heart becomes buoyant and my steps lighter. I set my intention today to release anything I have been fearful of letting go so that I can confidently move forward, open to infinite good.

Truly I tell you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.—Matthew 18:18

Let Go Let God With Self-Care

I Take Time To  Nourish My Mind, Body And Soul.

Taking care of myself is vital to my mental, physical, and spiritual well-being. I honor my mind, body, and soul when I respond to how I feel. If I am tired, I may take a nap or go to bed earlier than usual. I choose nourishing food. Taking a walk or going to the gym energizes me. I affirm life and energy. If I feel sad or anxious, I look for ways to lift my mood, staying in the present moment and appreciating even the smallest instance of goodness. I allow myself to feel what I feel and affirm peace in all circumstances. I enrich my soul with prayer and meditation, feeling the peace and power of God within. Taking time to quiet my mind and relax my body, I let go of the thoughts of the day. Even a few moments of stillness restore peace to my soul.

He said, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”—Exodus 33:14

Let Go Let God Receive Guidance

The Wise Guidance I Give And The Guidance I Receive Have Their Roots In God.

Throughout my life I have benefited from wise guidance. Family members, friends, community leaders, and spiritual guides have shared their insights with me. I could feel the wisdom and care of God as they listened to me pour out the concerns of my heart. Sometimes people I care about call upon me for guidance. I listen with an open mind and heart, trusting my words of compassion and counsel will come from my divinely inspired wisdom. If a health crisis arises for a loved one, I offer words of support as they recover. If a friend faces a decision about a relationship, I am a safe harbor and offer my words of wisdom without judgment. God’s wisdom is my wisdom, and I offer it in the spirit of loving service.

Where there is no guidance, a nation falls, but in an abundance of counselors there is safety.—Proverbs 11:14

Let Go Let God Have Faith

With Understanding Faith, I Affirm My Oneness With God.

God is the one presence and power in the universe. There is no competing power. God is all-supply. There is no lack in Spirit. God is vibrant life, so wholeness is my true nature. I anchor my faith in the knowledge that I can never be separated from God’s good, abundance, or wholeness. Jesus understood his oneness with God, and I aspire to have this same understanding so I can live my faith fully. Christ in me is, as the apostle Paul wrote, my hope of glory. I believe. I trust. In faith, I thrive. I have absolute, understanding faith in the changeless truth of God. I trust this truth is part of me and mine to express as only I can.

The glory that you have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one, I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one.—John 17:22-23

Let Go Let God On Ash Wednesday

The Christ Light Renews My Soul.

Today is the beginning of Lent, a powerful time of renewal. I welcome the Lenten season with willingness to shed old ways of thinking. I open to new life as I shift my focus to life-affirming ideas and a renewed awareness of my oneness with God. I let go of limitations. I release habits that no longer serve me and commit to the revival of my soul. I have the courage to take a deep dive into the still waters of Spirit as I welcome a new vision for my life. I give the past no power as I rise above life-inhibiting judgments and resentments. I am free to begin anew. During the next 40 days I will focus on life-affirming truths as my Christ light guides me to embody my spiritual gifts of love, compassion, wisdom, understanding, and discernment.

So we do not lose heart … Our inner nature is being renewed day by day.—2 Corinthians 4:16

Let Go Let God Have Fun

I Honor God With My Happy Heart.

Having fun is a wonderful spiritual practice. I draw close to God during times of lightness and levity when my heart feels happy. Fun can be as different and individual as the people having it. For some, it’s big and boisterous, and for others it’s intimate and quiet. No matter how I choose to have fun, I’m giving myself a great gift when I make time for it. I feel worrying thoughts fade from my mind as I lose myself in the activities I enjoy most. I am elevated, lifted to a place of clarity and peace. Here, I gain a new perspective, discerning the presence of God and trusting that the Divine is in and through all things. In my enjoyment and bliss, I realize I am never alone.

I know that there is nothing better for them than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live.—Ecclesiastes 3:12

Let Go Let God Follow Direction

I Follow The Call Of My Heart And Follow Divine Direction.

There have been times when I have felt such a strong call to move in a certain direction that I simply could not ignore it. This call is my intuition, nudging me to take action and move toward my highest growth. When I remember my intuition has its roots in God, in my divinity, I trust in the power of divine direction. I believe I am meant to live a full and vibrant life and use my gifts to express my human and spiritual natures as only I can. Heeding divine direction can feel scary if I believe I do not have what it takes to do what I am being called to do. At times such as these, I trust the call of my heart not to lead me astray. I am here to grow, to explore new directions, and to offer the best of myself to the world as I pursue my dreams and live up to my potential.

He leads the humble in what is right, and teaches the humble his way.—Psalm 25:9

Let Go Let God Aspire

I Aspire To Help Create A World That Works For All.

I hold a vision of an equitable world, a global community that supports and encourages all people to live fully and reach their unique potential. I feel a kinship with those who hold a similar vision and work to realize it. My past experiences and present perspective show me what is mine to do and how I can contribute to realizing my vision. I trust I will be guided and inspired to find avenues of service where the things I do best and most enjoy doing will be most helpful. I bless people I may never meet, and I offer my time, talents, and effort to further my vision of a new way of living. With clarity of purpose, I take my place among a growing network of caring, visionary souls.

The gifts he gave were … to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ.—Ephesians 4:11-12

Let Go Let God Forgive

Peace Fills My Heart As I Forgive.

If my prayer life has become less fulfilling, I’m finding less satisfaction in my pursuits, or my life feels out of harmony, I look at the thoughts I am holding and the feelings those thoughts are generating. I ask myself if there is something or someone I need to forgive. Unforgiveness is a mental and emotional barrier that blocks the flow of good in my life. When I hold unforgiving thoughts, I am the one who suffers. Although I may have felt wounded by what was said or done, I choose to forgive. Forgiveness does not require me to approve of words or actions that have hurt me. Through the power of my Christ nature, I release the bonds of resentment and welcome my healing.

Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.—Mark 11:25

Let Go Let God Be Comforted

More Tenderly Than Words Can  Describe, Divine Love Comforts Me.

Throughout my life, I have known God as unconditional love, all-encompassing wisdom, and a steadfast protecting presence that is within me, aspects of my divine identity. But when someone I love has transitioned from this life or when I am feeling the pain of any loss, my heart may long for a more personal awareness of divine love, the nurturing presence, the motherly love of God that the prophet Isaiah describes. Opening my heart, I feel this longing as completely as I can. Then, silently and patiently, I wait. In a way more exquisitely tender than words can describe, the divine love that lives in me responds to my heart’s longing. I am comforted. My heart is healed.

As a mother comforts her child, so I will comfort you; you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.—Isaiah 66:13

Let Go Let God Pray For World Peace

I Am A Presence Of Peace In The World.

Centered in God, I hold a vision of a world at peace, where cooperation and compassion rule and we respect our differences, living in harmony. When I am willing to be a presence of peace in the world, I open up to a world of bountiful beauty and abundance. When conflicts and suffering arise, instead of focusing on what’s wrong, I pray and open to the possibilities of harmony. My faith in the human spirit becomes unshakable as I visualize the awakening of a harmonious world. Nothing can take my serenity away as I commit to being a beneficial presence no matter the situation. In oneness with God, I am lifted along with all people. I take my place in an awakened world overflowing with love and support.

Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace among those whom he favors!—Luke 2:14

Let Go Let God Pray For Others

I Behold The Divine Presence In Those For Whom I Pray.

Each person, no matter who they are or what they’re going through, is a divine being. Before I pray with someone, I affirm their divine identity to remind myself all they could need is already within them. Rather than thinking I know what is best for them, I instead entrust them to the care and keeping of their inner direction. As spiritual beings, wholeness is their natural state. Their guidance is clear and sure. Their needs are supplied from the infinite reservoir of love and light within them. I see them enfolded in the compassionate love of God, supplied by the generous bounty of infinite Spirit. I see them shining, radiant, peaceful, and confident. My heartfelt prayers affirm their divinity and bless them with grace.

I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.—Ephesians 1:16

Let Go Let God Love

I Share Blessings Of Love

Today I share the love in my heart. I let those who are closest to me know how I feel about them, how much I value their presence in my life. I let them know how much I appreciate their unique qualities and gifts, the little things that make them like no one else. How grateful I am to love these dear souls and know I am loved by them. Whether through kinship or friendship, my life is made rich and full by my dear ones and the time we spend together and the memories we create. I pray all people will know this kind of love, the love of God brought to vibrant life. I will live this prayer by generously sharing the divine love that resides within me, as I bless all the world’s people with thoughts of harmony and peace.

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.—Colossians 3:14

Let Go Let God By Grace

Divine Grace Supports My Every Step.

I’ve known a range of experiences in my life from joyous to heartbreaking and from triumphant to tragic. Along the way, divine grace has been my companion, elevating me in times of ease and keeping me from falling too low in times of difficulty. Grace is a wonderful gift, a way to feel the love and power of God in a personal way. It is my spiritual safety net, my assurance that no matter what I may go through, I will not go through it alone. I am secure in faith, held in love, and sustained in strength. I am grateful for these divine gifts and for the grace that makes me keenly aware of divine activity as I navigate the peaks and valleys of my earthly life.

For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.—Ephesians 2:8

Let Go Let God With Compassion

Acts Of Loving Compassion Build My Strength.

Whether in my community or across the world, many people face hardships. As a member of the human family, I am inspired to undertake compassionate action and help however I can. Sometimes just a prayerful thought or simple blessing can make a powerful difference in someone’s life. Other times, I may be able to take more direct action. I may listen to someone deeply as they share the concerns of their heart, or I may volunteer to drive them somewhere or complete errands for them. Regardless of the form my compassionate action takes, I am motivated to be of sacred service, to bring the love and care of God into manifest form though my decisive action.

When he went ashore, he saw a great crowd; and he had compassion for them and cured their sick.—Matthew 14:14

Let Go Let God Protect

I Am Divinely Protected.

When I feel worried or afraid, I visualize an unbreakable barrier surrounding and protecting me and those for whom I pray. We are enfolded in divine love. Within this barrier are my thoughts of God, the one presence and power. Even in the midst of seeming darkness, I do not fear because I focus on the light and love of God. Peace and calm are mine as I affirm God’s light shines within me, casting out all darkness. God is absolute goodness, greater and more enduring than the things of the world. Faith in this truth is my greatest protection and my constant comfort. I face all situations calmly and peacefully knowing I am always loved and protected.

He protected us along all the way that we went, and among all the peoples through whom we passed.—Joshua 24:17

Let Go Let God Receive

I Receive With A Grateful Heart.

I have learned from as early as I can remember it is better to give than to receive. Of course, giving is important, a way to practice generosity and bring blessings into the lives of others. But being a gracious and grateful receiver is important because it places me in the flow of abundance in a way that giving alone does not. When I receive graciously, I am blessing the giver that they might feel joy in their giving. I am acknowledging God as the source of all the good in my life, opening myself to the love and care of Spirit as a flower opens itself to the sun. My good comes from all kinds of channels, and I receive with a glad and open heart. I don’t question whether I deserve my life’s gifts. I am a dear child of God deserving of every good thing.

Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be complete.—John 16:24

Let Go Let God Relax

Peace Fills Me As I Relax.

Relaxation is an important part of spiritual living and the gateway to finding deep, lasting peace. It’s also an important early step in being able to bring a peaceful bearing to situations and a serene countenance to my relationships. I relax by practicing self-care, making time for the things that bring restoring harmony to my life. This could mean doing the things that make my mind and heart feel rested and nurtured. My tensions dissolve as I give myself what I need to feel balanced. I am a peaceful presence. Where there is tension, I remain calm. Where there is impatience, I feel no need to rush. Where there is uncertainty, I feel no anxiety. Peace is mine as I relax.

Come to me, all you that are weary and are carrying heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.—Matthew 11:28

Let Go Let God In Divine Order

Divine Order Is At Work In My Life And In The World

When I think of divine order, I picture the order that exists in nature and in the universe. I remember the same order exists within me as well. It is active in my mind and body—from its various systems, functions, and movements to the energy and strength that flows freely, animating me. There is also a divine order at work in my everyday life—from the divine guidance I discern when faced with a decision to the steps I choose to take as I act upon those decisions. I relax and align with divine order. I feel the presence of God moving in and through me as healing life and a guiding light. I release my concerns, relaxing and trusting this truth and living with faith in it. My thoughts, actions, and life are in divine order.

The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it.—Psalm 24:1

Let Go Let God Bless Caregivers

Thank You Caregivers.

Caregiving is one of the most rewarding and sacred activities a spiritual being can undertake. The presence of God rarely feels more powerful than when helping another find love, comfort, safety, and peace. Often, more is received than given in the exchange. It takes love to give love, however, and today I offer a prayer of refreshment and renewal. I send heartfelt blessings to all caregivers. The love in my heart meets the heart of each caring individual as they do their selfless work. Sending prayers of love, gratitude, and support, I see each one divinely guided and inspired to provide dedicated care. May they feel this circle of love and compassion ever expanding as they share solace and support for those in their care.

And the king will answer them, “Truly I tell you, just as you did it to one of the least of these who are members of my family, you did it to me.”—Matthew 25:40

Let Go Let God Be A Free Spirit

I Am An Unlimited Free Spirit.

I am neither bound to circumstances nor limited by appearances. I am free through the abundant life of God. As I connect with my Source in mindful contemplation, I rise above the concerns of daily life into the clear atmosphere where all things are possible. I see everything in the light of God’s perfect wholeness. In prayer, I claim my unlimited inheritance of divine power and strength. Aligning myself with the life of God within me is the key to my freedom and abundant living. With an open heart, I brush aside feelings of limitation and behold my life anew. I move forward with confidence. I live from my spiritual identity as a joyous expression of God.

But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act—they will be blessed in their doing.—James 1:25

Let Go Let God With Healing

My Faith Is Making Me Well.

Myrtle Fillmore’s healing journey began when she changed her mind. Inspired by the words of a healing practitioner, she took this affirmation to heart: I am a child of God, and therefore I do not inherit sickness. After two years of persistent health-affirming meditation, prayer, and practice, Myrtle was healed. Her faith made her well. Myrtle Fillmore lived joyously and vigorously for many years. I take inspiration from this story. I, too, am a living expression of God. I feel my body’s quickening response as I claim my inheritance of divine life, vibrantly active in every cell of my body. Good nutrition, exercise, and rest support my healing practice. My faith is making me well.

He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease.”—Mark 5:34

Let Go Let God Through Divine Light

Divine Light Shines In And Through Me.

I start every morning by affirming the light of God is shining within me. This simple act reminds me I am a radiant spiritual being. I feel joyful and eager to share my divine light with everyone I meet. I am the light of God. In the past I may have chosen to keep my light hidden, afraid to call too much attention to myself. I remember the words of Jesus (Matthew 5:15-16), “No one after lighting a lamp puts it under the bushel basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others.” As I give of the divine light within me, its illumination grows stronger. As I shine boldly and brightly, I ignite that same blessed spark within others so that we may join together in sharing God’s light with the world.

O send out your light and your truth.—Psalm 43:3

Let Go Let God Be Inner Peace

With Calm Confidence, I Become The Peace That Passes Understanding.

No matter the tempest that swirls around me, I have the power to be the presence of peace in the middle of it all. As soon as tensions rise, I pause and calm my breathing. I release any troubling visions that grip my imagination. I remember there is nowhere I can be that is apart from God. Finding comfort in that awareness, I discern the calming, steadying presence inside. I focus on the truth of God within me. The qualities of God—wisdom, strength, understanding, love—are mine to express. With an open heart and a centered mind, I move from reflexive reaction to compassionate, intentional response. Peace of mind and heart is mine to live, and I trust I will surmount any challenge.

The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.—Numbers 6:26

Let Go Let God Savor Anticipation

I Look Forward To A Sunny Future.

Anticipation can be fun to savor, a way to prolong an eagerly awaited experience. Whether or not I think I know what is going to happen, the excitement of anticipation enlivens me, keeping me hopeful for something wonderful to unfold. I recall other times of blissful anticipation—waiting for a special person to arrive for a visit, counting down the days until a festive occasion, or getting to go somewhere special—times I felt that special feeling of wonder and excitement. I renew this feeling of eager anticipation, waking to a world filled to overflowing with possibilities. Whatever happens in my life today has its place in the perfect flow of life. I trust this divine unfolding and expect the highest and best outcomes.

But as for me, I will look to the Lord, I will wait for the God of my salvation; my God will hear me.—Micah 7:7

Let Go Let God Trust

I Trust In The Absolute Goodness Of God.

Just as the sun is shining even on the cloudiest days, God is absolute goodness and love, despite whatever may be happening in the world or in my life. Trusting this truth keeps me spiritually centered and optimistic when the state of the world feels troubling. When disorder seems to swirl around me, I put my trust in divine order. When discord rattles my nerves, I trust in the power of love. When I can’t see the way out of a troubling situation, I trust my power of imagination to envision a creative solution. I have within me the power to make the goodness of God manifest. I trust this indwelling power as I live more and more confidently from my divine identity. The state of the world no longer troubles me because I trust God and the Christ within.

When I am afraid, I put my trust in you.—Psalm 56:3
