Let Go Let God with Imagination

I perceive a new possibility and make it a reality.

Imagination is a creative power that works through each of us uniquely. The architect may see a bridge and the chef may see a delectable array of dishes. As I enter the new year, I utilize my imagination to perceive possibilities that are not currently visible. My vision is free from any limit on the good I desire. I visualize a comfortable environment or feel the emotions of loving relationships. I list the attributes of fulfilling work. Linking the energy of faith to my power of imagination, I take action to make tangible what I have envisioned. My positive words claim the good that is perfect for me. I stay alert to nudges and ideas that guide me. Together with Spirit, I create something even better than I imagined.

But I tell you, look around you, and see how the fields are ripe for harvesting.—John 4:35

Let Go Let God Affirm Power

I am a spiritual being, bestowed with great power.

In this moment, I affirm: There is only One Power and Presence active in my life: God the Good. The power that flows from the one source pours into all things. As an expression of God, I claim my spiritual superpower. My power resides in my ability to choose. In all situations I choose to be victorious. No thought, situation, or circumstance can hold me back. I am stronger than any doubt from within or any judgment from without. I have the power to conquer any self-limiting thoughts that might otherwise hold me back. I align my thoughts with my highest good, envisioning health, abundance, love, and success. I affirm: I am love; I am peace; I am pure strength. I am a spiritual being, bestowed with great power.

He sent them out to proclaim the kingdom of God and to heal.—Luke 9:2

Let Go Let God Extend Love

It is my nature to extend love.

Feelings of anger might embolden me to speak my truth or to draw a much-needed boundary with another person. Consciously channeled, the energy I am experiencing can move me out of my comfort zone and motivate me to serve a meaningful cause. However, if I allow my feelings to fester into resentment, I lose myself to the damaging aspects of anger. So how do I utilize the energy of anger? I keep in mind that Spirit—the essence of my very being—is infinite love. As I embrace and embody this truth, I regain the awareness of my oneness with all life. I recognize that forgiveness is easier than condemnation because forgiveness reflects the truth of who I am. God is perfect love and therefore so am I.

Be angry but do not sin; do not let the sun go down on your anger.—Ephesians 4:26

Let Go Let God Call on Wisdom

I am one with infinite wisdom.

When I need something more significant than my own opinion or thought to solve a dilemma, I can turn within to divine wisdom. It is an awareness that uplifts and heals. Wisdom springs forth from an inner knowing that is beyond my human mind. When I call on the power of divine wisdom, my answers emerge spontaneously, perhaps as an idea or from a chance conversation or book. There are no limits to the ways my innate inner knowing can speak to me. I may ask for guidance at night and awaken with the answer clearly in my mind. Whatever I am facing, my inner resource of divine wisdom provides the answers I seek.

How much better to get wisdom than gold! To get understanding is to be chosen rather than silver.—Proverbs 16:16

Let Go Let God be Strength

Divine strength expresses through me as poise and confidence.

During times of prayer or meditation, I relax away from the outer world. As my attention turns inward, I am filled with confidence, power, and light. It is here that the spirit of God reveals the right solution to every problem, the right answer to every need. Whatever may await me in life, I can meet each day with poise and confidence, for God is my help and support, my ever-present source of strength. Divine strength expresses through me as poise and confidence.

You ... will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”—Psalm 91:1-2

Let Go Let God Believe & Perceive

I am guided by divine ideas.

Divine ideas inspire and uplift me. They continually guide me toward my highest good in all situations. I am led toward my dreams and comforted in times of challenge. The source of these spiritual truths and guidance is rooted in the source of all being, God. Tapping in to the awareness of divine mind is like opening my mind to let the winged angels float in. These divine ideas come to me whenever I listen. Sometimes I hear them in moments of meditative silence and other times they speak to me in the middle of my daily activities. Intuitive nudges guide me down safe roads, place me right where I need to be, and help me see the light in all things. I am guided by divine ideas.

For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.—Psalm 91:11

Let Go Let God it is Christmas Day

The spirit of Christmas fills my soul.

Today I take time to reflect on the holy birth and the joy and jubilation its spiritual message brings to me. As I celebrate the birth of Jesus, I celebrate the Christ presence within me. The welcome news is that the Christ light shines brightly through me as life, love, and peace. This divine light is the essence of my being. At any time I can experience a new and joyful awakening. I experience Christmas of the heart! The spirit of love and joy remains with me as I return to my day, rested and renewed. I am at peace—one with the presence of pure Being. The spirit of Christmas fills my soul.

To you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord. This will be a sign for you: you will find a child wrapped in bands of cloth and lying in a manger.—Luke 2:11-12

Let Go Let God on this Silent Night

I experience a rebirth—an awakening of the Christ within.

Every time we sing “Silent Night,” we have a feeling of hushed awe at the wonder of the Savior’s birth. Every time we sing “Joy to the World,” our hearts seem to burst with unspeakable joy. Christmas is a wonder to us as we let ourselves believe that it is more than a celebration that took place almost 2,000 years ago. It is a right-now thing; it is an event happening to us, in us, wherever we are, whatever we are doing. It is the rebirth, the awakening, of the Christ in us, the child of God in us. It is love incarnate in our hearts. It is life filling our being. It is joy filling our souls. Christmastime reminds us of the mystery and the miracle of life itself.

The angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.”—Luke 2:10

Let Go Let God be Joy

The joy of the Lord is my strength. I am God’s joy!

Joy is the happiness of God, expressed through humankind. Because I am God’s living expression, joy is my birthright, part of my nature. Gladness gives us strength, primarily when we focus on spiritual things. I am an open channel of God’s love and joy when family and friends gather. This is a time of joy and love, of caring and compassion, of opening my mind and heart, my very soul to the Divine. Joy is a divinely inspired attitude I take with me, into every experience of my life. I share my attitude with everyone I meet as the divine happiness in me recognizes itself in them. I gratefully affirm: The joy of the Lord is my strength. I am God’s joy!

The joy of the Lord is your strength.—Nehemiah 8:10

Let Go Let God Find Comfort

I invite serenity into my life.

Given a choice, I sit in a comfortable chair. Given the option, I may place myself in tranquil and relaxed circumstances. There are times, however, when life circumstances can seem anything but comfortable due to outside influences or conditions. Where do I find comfort during those times—relief from pain or misery or doubt? My answer comes from within. I become quiet, even if just for a moment. I discern the presence of Spirit. I feel the love, the guidance, and the warmth of God filling me and surrounding me. I remember that wherever I am, God is. Any worries or concerns fade away as I invite serenity to replace any and all uneasiness.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.—Psalm 23:4

Let Go Let God as Divine Expression

I am the light of God in expression.

I remind myself every day that I am here on this earth not only for the purpose of receiving divine blessings but also for the purpose of sharing my good with others. I am divinely created as a channel through which flows life, joy, peace, and love to all who come my way. I am the light of God in expression, and as such, I can be the light that keeps another soul from stumbling in the darkness. I bring peace to my own life when I serve as a source of harmony for others. With this thought in mind, I speak words of strength and offer comfort to those in need. As a loving friend, I share understanding, forgiveness, compassion, and kindness. As I give my very best, I become the very best.

God is love, and those who abide in love abide in God, and God abides in them.—1 John 4:16

Let Go Let God Receive

Being a good receiver is a gift back to the giver.

With December holidays approaching, I look forward to giving and receiving. When I give to others, I feel the warmth that comes from demonstrating my appreciation of them in the form of a thoughtful gift. While I do not give to receive, I realize the importance of accepting graciously. There is spiritual reciprocity embedded in the process of giving and receiving. Receiving a gift in such a way is giving a gift back to the giver. Another person thought of me. When I graciously accept a gift, a kind word, a smile, or a hug, I acknowledge that I believe I am worthy of receiving. In doing so, I also accept and celebrate that everybody has value, and all are worthy.

The measure you give will be the measure you get back.—Luke 6:38

Let Go Let God Give

I give and receive in the spirit of love and gratitude.

Life is a perpetual process of giving and receiving. Every time I share—time, attention, love—waves of energy impact the world around me. Knowing this, I choose to give Presence, not just presents! Before I step into the flow of the day, I take a moment to center myself in the awareness of the Christ presence within me. As I take a deep, centering breath, I allow my attention to move from the thoughts in my head to the feelings in my heart. I bring forth divine love, gratitude, peace, and joy, taking time to cherish each one. I claim these gifts for myself and then make a conscious choice to embody each one, sharing them all with everyone I meet. In this way, I shine forth the Christ light within and illuminate the path for others.

Who then will offer willingly, consecrating themselves today to the Lord?—1 Chronicles 29:5

Let Go Let God On Purpose

I choose to live my life on purpose.

At different points in my life I may ask why I am here or ponder what I should do next. Life provides many possibilities, so how do I know which are the “right” answers for me? Instead of becoming worried or stressed about solutions, from this point on, I choose to live my life on purpose. Living on purpose is about making life choices from a place of spiritual awareness, taking direction from my divine compass within instead of the chatter of the material world. When I do, the rest sorts itself out easily according to divine order. Source leads me to my best and highest expression. I am here by divine appointment, living on purpose.

The human mind may devise many plans, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.—Proverbs 19:21

Let Go Let God Share Prosperity

I have more than enough.

During this busy time of year, I may focus on not having enough because I want to share with friends and family. The most important thing I can remember is that there is always enough! I follow my inner wisdom to the good I seek. I speak positive words of faith and truth. I let go of any fear that I will not have enough. Giving thanks that Spirit is infinite and unlimited, I joyously open to rich ideas and inspiring ways to use them to increase my supply. I give without hesitation in the faith that all that I have and all that I give multiplies and returns to me in abundance. I am open to my good in whatever form it takes or channel it flows to me.

We have had enough to eat and have plenty to spare; for the Lord has blessed his people.—2 Chronicles 31:10

Let Go Let God Share Love

I am divine love in expression.

I am a creative spiritual being, and the substance with which I create is divine love. This includes the loving feelings I may experience as my day unfolds. These are important elements, but divine love exists deeper than feelings, at the very core of my being. The Trappist monk and author Thomas Merton described love as “an intensification of life.” My life today is deepened and strengthened by the creative intensity I bring to every choice. It is only by allowing the substance of love to shape my day that I can intensify my life experience and be a blessing to others. I am divine love in expression, and my heart is open to every opportunity the day will bring to share that love with others.

Above all, clothe yourselves with love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony.—Colossians 3:14

Let Go Let God be Free

I express my inner freedom.

I am a unique creation, and I celebrate my one-of-a-kind self by letting my individuality shine. There is nothing I need to do to claim this freedom. Simply by being myself, I am liberated to express who I am. As I find my center of inner acceptance, I express the God creation I am meant to be: beloved, possessing a light heart and a radiant spirit. I cherish myself exactly as I am. My heart is filled with gratitude for all of the qualities that have made me who I am. I am a child of God—creative, expressive, free! My heart can love, my hands can help, and my mind can imagine great things. I value all of these unique gifts within me and more! Freedom is now established as a true state of my being. I am my unlimited, free self!

For you were called to freedom, brothers and sisters.—Galatians 5:13

Let Go Let God See Divine Light

I am guided by my inner light.

Authors Richard and Mary-Alice Jafolla wrote, “With the realization of God’s active presence in our lives, the specter of fear disappears into the mists of the unreal—like a snowball dropped into a pail of hot water.” I recognize the struggle of holding on to the “snowball of fear” even though I know the truth of God’s presence is always with me. At times I may find letting go of my unbelief difficult. So I increase my practice of prayer and meditation. I refocus my thoughts away from fear and toward God within. I visualize the snowball disappearing and instead see the warmth of divine light filling, surrounding, and going before me. In the depth of my being, I know nothing can separate me from divine love.

The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my rock in whom I take refuge, my shield.—Psalm 18:2

Let Go Let God as Commitment

I am a child of God, firmly anchored in my faith.

When I make a commitment—to a relationship, educational pursuit, pet, and so on—I may face new responsibilities and decisions. But any veil of uncertainty is lifted when I turn within to the inner place of oneness. It is there I connect with my inner strength and guidance of Spirit. I commit to my spiritual practice, to prayer, and to caring for myself. The outcomes of all other promises, endeavors, and dreams are influenced by this primary commitment. Daily I remind myself: I am a child of God, firmly anchored in my faith. With the assurance of this divine inheritance, I know that at any time, I can turn within as Jesus instructed in Mark 6:31, to “Come away to a deserted place all by yourselves and rest a while.”

We have this hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul.—Hebrews 6:19

Let Go Let God Cherish Life

I cherish the gift of life.

I create my life with my outlook, my choices, my thoughts, beliefs, and actions. I have the power to be grateful, even while experiencing disappointment. I can be loving, even in the face of anger. What I choose to energize will determine the tone of each day. My attitude creates waves of energy as my life resonates at the frequency I send out. I choose to claim my life as a precious gift. I make lists of things for which I am grateful. I speak words of love to my friends and family. I share smiles with strangers. I help where I can, and I cherish every single moment I have. I live and breathe within the All-ness of God, and I see blessings bursting forth in new and exciting ways every day.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits.—Proverbs 18:21

Let Go Let God Discover

Within me lies the kingdom of peace, love, health, and plenty.

Have you discovered that you have within you the source of all good things? We each have the power to make this kingdom manifest. Heaven is not something apart from us or lying in the distant future, nor are we powerless to cause heaven to appear in our lives. God in the midst of us is the very essence of heaven. As we realize this truth, we begin to recognize the blessings that surround us and heaven as the sum of all good appears. It consists of peace, love, health, and plenty. In heaven there is no absence of these. There can be no disorder, hate, fear, or lack because we are one with divine life and love. Heaven is in the midst of us, and we are in the midst of heaven.

The kingdom of God is among you.—Luke 17:21

Let Go, Let God

Letting go opens the way for spiritual ideas.

The language of “letting go and letting God” can be misleading. It can sound as if I am being asked to surrender control of my life to an external authority. However, the opposite is true. Letting go and letting God means surrendering my human identification and turning control over to my true, divine nature. In Truth, I am one with the Allness of God. As I let go of the need to figure out my life intellectually, my internal and eternal divine wisdom effortlessly guides my path. When I let go of the need for recognition or approval, feelings of love and self-worth fill me. I open the way for spiritual ideas to flow forth to bless, inspire, and prosper me. As I continually commit my life to Spirit, I feel ever-increasing satisfaction and peace.

Commit your way to the Lord.—Psalm 37:5

Let Go Let God Embrace Peace

God’s peace is mine. All things contribute to the calm peace of my soul.

Peace is always possible, even on the busiest of days. I am never far away from what the apostle Paul called “the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.” I am a living expression of God, just as every person is. I know that peace, like all of God’s qualities, seeks expression in my life. In the stillness of prayer, I embrace God’s peace, allowing it to fill my body, mind, and spirit. Centered in the stillness of God, I go about my daily activities, affirming: God’s peace is mine. All things contribute to the calm peace of my soul.
Interruptions and inconveniences no longer upset me. My peaceful presence blesses me and everyone I meet.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.—Philippians 4:7

Let Go Let God Trust in Divine Order

I trust my highest good to unfold.

Spending quiet moments in nature, writing in my journal, praying, and meditating all support me in being more resilient to life’s changes. My commitment to my spiritual practice supports my evolution and growth, a natural part of life. In these quiet times, I surrender to the underlying current of good that flows through every aspect of my life. I let go and begin to relax into a state of peace and trust. Thought patterns or habits that have been weighing me down or holding me back are replaced by helpful, productive thoughts and behaviors. As I continue to grow spiritually, I begin to move efficiently and gracefully into the next phase of my life. I joyfully step into a new way of being as I trust my highest good to unfold.

He leads me in right paths for his name’s sake.—Psalm 23:3

Let Go Let God Create World Peace

I create harmony in my own life and in the world.

World peace may seem like an impossible dream, but I have the power to create it by embodying peace in my own life. Martin Luther King Jr. said, “Peace is not merely a distant goal that we seek, but a means by which we arrive at that goal.” It is a state of being that begins within the individual. By being peaceful, I create peace. Peace is my practice as I align my heart and mind with God. When I turn within to the Silence, I connect with my infinite source. When I center in Spirit, my words and actions naturally stem from a place of peace. I interact with others calmly, and in doing so help others experience peace. I create harmony in my own life and in the world.

I will both lie down and sleep in peace; for you alone, O Lord, make me lie down in safety.—Psalm 4:8

Let Go Let God in the Stillness

Times of stillness recharge me.

Have you found the presence of perfect quietness at the center of your being? Have you discovered that divine life abides within you as the presence of stillness? Do you know that you can take control of all the affairs of your world simply by feeling the power of this innate quietness? Keep your thought fixed upon God and you will have no difficulty connecting to the Divine. Things cannot disturb you and your world when you feel quiet within yourself. Noises and confusion cannot exist in your world for you when your heart is established in perfect quiet. Turn many times daily to this presence of quietness. Learn to look at these times of stillness as opportunities to recharge yourself with divine power.

Keep silence and hear, O Israel!—Deuteronomy 27:9

Let Go Let God be Healed

Divine life radiates healing energy through me.

We often think of healing as a “return to wholeness.” If I feel less than healthy, I pause to remember my true nature is the eternal wholeness of divine life. Like a flame that burns within and never goes out, divine life illuminates anything in my temporary physical experience that feels wounded, broken, or limited. The light of Spirit is the light that heals and restores me. I take a gentle breath. I feel the flame within me burn brighter and expand its warmth into every part of my mind and body. As I exhale, I allow any thoughts of pain or disorder to flow out and dissipate. I open to the healing energy radiating through me. Each mindful breath unifies spirit and mind into a seamless expression of wholeness.

Heal me, O Lord, and I shall be healed.—Jeremiah 17:14

Let Go Let God Answer the Call

I answer the call of my heart.

When I have a decision to make or feel that I am being called in a certain direction, I may seek the advice of friends, but my true counsel comes from putting my faith in and following my inner wisdom. As I pray, I listen to the divine whispers of my heart. If I hear any doubt, I open to guidance. I honor any feelings of divine discontent, for these may be the driving factor that urges me forward and gives me the courage to step out in faith. I let go of any doubt or fear. I let go of any thought of limitation or unworthiness. I trust. I know that as I answer the call of my heart, all is in divine order. I live my truth. I follow my heart, open to the fullness of divine love and unlimited possibilities.

For we walk by faith, not by sight.—2 Corinthians 5:7

Let Go Let God Receive Understanding

With divine understanding, I am wise and compassionate.

Understanding is one of the 12 divine powers within me. I choose to follow the guidance of Spirit to enrich my understanding. With understanding, I am in control of my thoughts, and I choose to think positively and affirmatively. I say No! to the chatter of negativity that enters my mind and Yes! to constructive, productive thoughts. In this way I create an environment of positivity and success. I am open to new ideas and easily grasp new concepts. I see the good in all.

I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven.—Matthew 16:19

Let Go Let God through Faith

Through faith I am centered and guided every step of every day.

My faith is more than a passive state of being. It is the active energy that empowers my thoughts and brings them into manifestation in this human experience. I am always expressing faith in something—either spiritual Truth or dualistic illusion. I am grateful for the growing awareness that allows me to recognize where I am placing my faith and to make conscious creative choices through each day. If I find myself giving my faith to thoughts of lack or limitation, I shift my focus to the spiritual substance that can accomplish all things through me. It is by embracing this understanding of faith that I create a new consciousness, choice by choice.

But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.—James 1:6

Let Go Let God Rest

My mind, body, and spirit are renewed as I rest in the silence of prayer.

Spending time in the silence of prayer is a powerful self-care therapy for body, mind, and spirit. In the stillness, I connect with God within. My heartbeat and breathing return to a calm pace. I relax and just be. I become aware of the divine activity of my body, knowing that supreme life flows through every cell, continually revitalizing me. My spirit rejoices with a sense of renewal. My times of resting in the Silence promote a spirit of creativity and cooperation that prepares me for the day ahead.

But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles.—Isaiah 40:31
