Let Go Let God Welcome

I am ready to welcome the new

Today I honor what has been and welcome what is to come. I give thanks for the year that is ending, for all my experiences, and the growth of my soul. I am ready to say goodbye to past events, the challenges that strengthened my faith, and the blissful moments that made me whole. I create a personal ceremony for letting go. I imagine myself as a sacred vessel from which I pour out the past. With each gentle breath, I release everything to God. Reverently, I let go. I feel lighter in mind, body, and soul. I rest in the holy emptiness, trusting Spirit to fill it with Divine Love. On the threshold of a new beginning, I am ready to welcome new growth. I am cleansed, refreshed, and optimistic. I am grateful and open to God’s good.
I am about to create new heavens ... a new earth; the former things shall not be remembered.—Isaiah 65:17

Let Go Let God Dream

Through the power of God within me, my dream comes true and blesses others.

A divine plan for good is at work in my life and in the Universe. My dream is a part of that plan. It comes from God—a vision and desire planted in my soul. To picture this vision, I use my faculty of imagination. With my mind’s eye, I see myself achieving my dream. I allow myself to savor how it feels to see it accomplished. If I face challenges, I do not become discouraged. I keep focused on my vision, and trust Spirit to reveal my purpose and direction. Confidently, I take the next step. My heart’s desire propels me through any obstacles. My dream comes from God, and it is for my soul’s unfoldment. I joyfully take my part in the divine plan and bless the world.
You have given him his heart’s desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips.—Psalm 21:2

Let Go Let God Provide Comfort

I find God in me, and I am comforted.

If I ever feel alone, without help or support, I remind myself that in truth, I cannot be alone. God is within and around me at all times. Beyond the material world, the presence of Spirit is alive in me. I turn from any sense of loneliness and lean on this comforting truth. I am one with Christ. Within me is all power, all love, and all joy. No outer trouble has the power to remove God from me, even when it feels overwhelming. I pray to see challenging conditions in a new light. I become willing to look for God in the person or situation that seems to cause me distress. I ask to discover how everything is working for my highest good. I receive all I pray for at the right and perfect time. God is in me, and I am comforted.
Then the father said to him, “Son, you are always with me, and all that is mine is yours.”—Luke 15:31

Let Go Let God Forgive

I forgive and my divinity blossoms.

Resentments close my heart like a withered flower. Forgiveness is the water that nourishes me, so I can blossom into my full expression once again. Forgiveness frees me to be prosperous, healthy, creative, and joyful. I call on Spirit within to radiate healing love, and I release grudges and unhealed relationships. As I forgive, I am unencumbered by regret or resentment, free to be my true self. Forgiveness requires awareness, willingness, and letting go. I stay attuned to how I honestly feel and give myself the time needed to heal. When I am ready, I let go, and all I wished for and more comes into my life. As I forgive, my divinity blossoms.
But you are a God ready to forgive, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love, and you did not forsake them.–Nehemiah 9:17

Let Go Let God Trust

I rest confidently in God.

Relationships with our four-legged furry companions can be spiritual touchstones. When a beloved pet lays its head on our shoulder or lap, we feel their sincere and sacred trust. Their serenity inspires me to rest confidently in Christ within. Prayer is my touchstone in my relationship with God. As I lean on Spirit, I live confidently. I feel safe and comforted. I know that anything I may need—healing, love, or abundance—will come at the right time. My assurance in Spirit within brings me peace, and I am grateful. God is a principle of eternal good. I exercise faith in Spirit by desiring good things for my life and knowing they will manifest. When I trust my life to Christ in me, I open the way to true blessings.

But I trust in you, O Lord; I say, “You are my God.”— Psalm 31:14

Let Go Let God Be Free

I live free from limiting labels.

Limitations come from beliefs I hold about myself or that I may have accepted from others. The world may use labels to describe me, or try to impose limits that feel like chains holding me back. I have the key to liberate myself from those chains. I break free by no longer identifying with limits or labels. I speak only powerful, uplifting words of Truth about myself: The magnificence of God dwells in me. I use all my gifts to be God’s wisdom and love in expression. Each time I affirm the Truth, I dissolve any beliefs that diminish my full expression as a human and a divine being. Whatever my gender, race, appearance, or abilities, I live freely as a unique expression of the Christ.
There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.—Galatians 3:28

Let Go Let God It's Christmas

I open gifts of peace, joy, hope, and love.

It’s Christmas! Joy and excitement fill the air. I have gifts to open and to share. I open the gift of peace. I have peace of mind and heart because I am one with God. I share it with the world through acts of kindness and prayers for harmony among all. I open the gift of joy. I rejoice in the birth of the Christ within me. My realization of the kingdom of God within fills me with appreciation for the happiness of this season and of every day. I open the gift of hope. I expect good to come to me and to those I love. Good is available this very moment. I open the gift of love. Love is unconditional good. It allows me to see the best in others and to be kind and compassionate to all. Thank you, God, for the gifts of Christmas!
To you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is the Messiah, the Lord.—Luke 2:11

Let Go Let God Be Reborn

Christ is reborn in me.

Just as Mary joyfully expected the arrival of Jesus, I await the rebirth of the Christ in me with great anticipation. This rebirth quickens my desire to share my unique gifts with the world—gifts of love, harmony, and peace inspired by Spirit. Through his example and message, Jesus showed us how to have a deep and meaningful relationship with God. He taught us to honor our own divinity—the Christ in each of us. I celebrate the birth of Jesus and the rebirth of the Christ within me by giving and receiving from a heart full of joy. I also celebrate the divine potential within every person. With our gifts, we all contribute to the consciousness of love Jesus Christ brought to the world.
Do not be afraid; for see—I am bringing you good news of great joy for all the people.—Luke 2:10

Let Go Let God When Giving and Receiving

As I graciously give and receive, I am blessed with abundant joy.

Gifts of all types are exchanged during the holiday season—store-bought presents, homemade creations, and offerings of time and service. As I prepare what I want to bestow and plan to whom I want to give, the spirit of generosity arises within. This is the greatest present: What appears to be giving is also a process of receiving. I experience generosity again when others share their genuine gifts with me, and I accept them with an open heart. The abundance of the Universe works through this principle of giving and receiving, known as the Law of Circulation. I participate in it through gracious giving and receiving, and I am blessed with abundance and inner joy.
Each of you must give as you have made up your mind, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.—2 Corinthians 9:7

Let Go Let God in the Quiet

In the quiet, I feel the loving presence of God.

In the stillness of a winter evening, I may look out the window and see the snow softly falling. A feeling of calm fills the silence of the night. In my quiet space, I find a healing, rejuvenating peace. In the stillness, my soul is restored. In Truth, I can find this quiet place any time of day or night. I only need to close my eyes, and think of God, and God alone. I take a moment to close my eyes and breathe. As I exhale, I release busy thoughts. As I feel my connection with Spirit, I am lifted from busyness and distractions. In the quiet, I contemplate the vastness of Spirit. I sense God’s loving, protecting presence. I am calm, clear, and at ease. With a peaceful mind and a restored soul, I am grateful for Divine Love.

I have calmed and quieted my soul.—Psalm 131:2

Let Go Let God with Joy

I express pure joy from the inside out.

Joy begins in the depths of my soul, radiates through my heart, and shines out to the world. Although the events of this season may bring pleasure, the deepest joy comes when I connect to my Christ nature. When my heart, mind, and soul are aligned with the indwelling Spirit, I am naturally curious and excited about everything and everyone I meet. I am enthusiastic about my life and eager to do all that is mine to do. I experience a contagious bliss and ease as I connect to my inner wellspring of gladness. The joy of Spirit in me is effervescent. It sparkles through my eyes and adds a bounce to my step. Today I rejoice as God’s jubilation bursts forth from within me.
I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.—John 15:11

Let Go Let God Provide Solutions

I release the need to control and open to divine solutions.

Challenging situations can spur drama that diverts my attention. Anxiety, stress, and the need to have things my way may prevent me from thinking clearly. With such limited focus, I may lose sight of a bigger perspective. The tension in my body may restrict the flow of ideas to my brain and love to my heart. In circumstances like these, I choose to lay my burden down. I take time apart for a relaxing activity and trust Inner Wisdom to guide my way. I let go of the need to impose my vision and allow the flow of ideas from Spirit. As creative solutions come to mind, I find a new way to approach a situation. When I release the need to control, Inner Wisdom reveals the right answers.
I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will solve my riddle to the music of the harp.—Psalm 49:4

Let Go, Let God

I am one with the presence of God that fills me and guides me.

My mind has tremendous power. With it, I formulate thoughts and perceptions that shape my everyday experiences. Yet sometimes I may spend too much time thinking instead of simply being. Jesus taught us the importance of going apart for a while to rest and connect with God. I breathe and simply “be.” I cease my constant mental and physical activity. I stop doubting, stressing, or worrying. As I let go of the concerns of the day, I relax, and let God fill my heart, mind, and soul. By letting go, I give my mind a rest and my heart full attention. I think less and experience more. I relax and breathe deeply. I let go and trust God. I am renewed and at peace.
Do not worry about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.—Philippians 4:6

Let Go Let God Praise

I praise others and am blessed in return.

Children shine when they are praised by parents, teachers, and loved ones. They beam with pride when they are told they have done well, or when they are recognized for their talents. Although I am now an adult, I react in the same way when I am praised—I feel a sense of pride when others acknowledge my skills. I can give that satisfaction to others by praising them, so they, too, feel the glow of accomplishment and appreciation. Today I make a conscious effort to praise others. I point out their strengths and recognize their abilities. We all enjoy being acknowledged for our uniqueness and for the gifts we bring to the world. Today I appreciate others, remembering what a joy it is to be praised!

Rejoice in the Lord, O you righteous. Praise befits the upright.—Psalm 33:1

Let Go Let God in Unity

One Light illumines all the Universe.

In winter, when natural light is in shortest supply, many faith traditions celebrate holidays with lights. Each festival portrays faith as our comfort in darkness. As varied as the celebrations may be, regardless of their names and descriptions, they all recognize the One Light that illumines the whole Universe. We are all sparks of the One Light. By seeing the same Light in each of us, we dissolve the darkness of separation. As we acknowledge we are all rays of the same Light, all barriers are removed. We see everyone in the image and likeness of God. By living in unity and letting our lights shine, we dispel the darkness of fear, ignorance, and lack. Nothing is stronger than the Light of God that shines in all of us.
Has not one God created us?—Malachi 2:10

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

Spirit is my compass on each step of my journey.

When my vision is clouded by uncertainty, I imagine the security and assurance a blind person feels as he or she walks with a trusted guide dog. The well-trained dog confidently guides its handler around obstacles in their path. The handler learns to be sensitive to every hesitation and redirection the dog uses to warn of hazards or barriers. When I need to discern my next steps, I turn my attention away from my concerns and meditate in the Silence. As I commune with Spirit, I carefully listen for subtle nuances to offer me direction. I see my way around stumbling blocks and trust my intuition to give new direction if needed. Spirit in me knows my perfect path, and my way is made clear.
You are indeed my rock and my fortress; for your name’s sake lead me and guide me.—Psalm 31:3

Let Go Let God See Beauty

I see beauty everywhere I look.

Today I take time to behold beauty in and around me. I pause to look into the eyes of my family, friends, and those I meet. My mind may notice only physical appearance, but I aim to see beauty with my heart. In each face, I find the story of a life unfolding. I look with the eyes of my heart, and discover Divine beauty in each person. I notice their most positive aspect—an attitude, a gesture, a smile. Finding beauty is a practice that takes time, but I am patient. If I rush or disregard what’s in front of me, I remember to slow down and perceive the best in others. As I form this new habit, I am gentle with myself. I gaze in the mirror and behold the loveliness of Spirit expressing through me. Beauty is everywhere I look.
Many prophets and righteous people longed to see what you see.—Matthew 13:17

Let Go Let God Love

It is my nature to love.

The love of God flows through my heart to the hearts of others. When I am a conduit for love, I recognize the divinity in all beings. I honor their lives and want only the best for them. Following Jesus’ teaching to love one another is easy when I cherish people dear to me. However, I am also called to appreciate those who are different from me, and even those who hurt or offend me. Loving as Jesus loved means to accept all people as expressions of Spirit, regardless of their actions, choices, or abilities. They are the beloved of God. Love lives in me. It flows from Spirit and I share it with others. As I love, I am fully alive. I love because it is my nature to love.
I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you.–John 13:34

Let Go Let God in My Life

I create a blissful life.

Life is the power of God at work, constantly flowing in the present moment. It is invigorating and subtle, strong and vulnerable. Divine Intelligence created all I see in the physical world, including me. With my mind and heart, I have the power to connect with Spirit and cocreate a blissful life. I start by expressing gratitude for my existence. I ask for the right guidance, and write down the dreams of my heart. I plan what I need to accomplish my desires—an outline to start a business or an application for school. I follow God’s direction in each step and express gratitude for my life as it unfolds. All things work together to support me. When I cocreate my life with Spirit, what I do blesses the world, and I live in bliss.
Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart.—Psalm 37:4

Let Go Let God in Prosperity

I give from my heart, and I am richly blessed!

Optimism and pessimism are often defined as seeing the glass either half full or half empty. Prosperity thinking sees the glass completely filled with two different elements—water and air, for instance. Today I see my life through prosperity thinking. Abundance is so much more than material possessions. I prosper in my relationships because they are mutually supportive. I am wealthy in my health because I take care of my mind and body. I eat nutritious meals, exercise regularly, and think positively. If I experience lack in any area of my life, I ask myself: How can I more fully participate in the cycle of giving and receiving? I can volunteer, reach out to help someone, or appreciate others. As I think prosperously, I am blessed!
Those ... attentive to a matter will prosper, and happy are those who trust in the Lord.—Proverbs 16:20

Let Go Let God in World Peace

I honor all expressions of God.

Differences are an inevitable part of human life. Peaceful coexistence does not mean trying to make myself or others conform to one certain way of being or thinking. Being rigid or critical often generates conflict and violence. I contribute to peace on earth when I first accept in my heart the diversity of the world. In prayer and meditation, I withdraw attention from any differences I perceive with my physical eyes. I behold with my spiritual vision the Oneness we all are. Conscious of the underlying unity of all existence, I see great beauty in the diversity of life. I appreciate grace, order, and harmony in the multitude of ways the One Spirit shows up in the world.
To set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.— Romans 8:6

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

We are one in Spirit, one in the love of God.

Praying for others is one way I express the love of God within me. As I pray for my loved ones and for the world, I enfold everybody in thoughts of guidance, love, power, and protection. As I pray, I affirm God’s light is leading each individual in ways of peace. I declare Spirit’s nurturing love is flowing through all, restoring the fabric of each precious soul to wholeness. I affirm the power of God inspires us to serve our community, our nation, and the world in ways of safety and understanding. The presence of God within connects us to one another in peace and harmony. Wherever we are, God is, and all is well.
I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you.—Philippians 1:3-4

Let Go Let God I Am

I use the words “I Am” with clarity and purpose.

Do I really give it much thought when I begin a sentence with “I am”? Declaring “I am worried” or “I am confused” is invoking the name of God, the “I Am,” and giving power to that statement. I could more appropriately say that “I have a concern about an issue.” When I use the words “I am” carefully, I connect with the highest, healthiest thoughts about a given circumstance. By saying I am able, I affirm confidence. By pronouncing I am open, I assert willingness. When I declare I am worthy, capable, healthy, and prosperous, I activate these qualities within me. The “I Am” is God in me, so I speak those words with clarity and purpose. I connect “I Am” with positive, affirmative statements, and declare my oneness with God.

God said to Moses, “I am who I am.”—Exodus 3:14

Let Go Let God Remember

I remember what is true, good, and holy.

Everyday happenings may trigger old feelings, images, or responses. While some of these memories may be sweet and joyful, others may feel painful or challenging. I release old emotions with the help of Divine grace. As memories come up, I center faithfully in Spirit, acknowledge the feelings, and let them go. Infinite Love comforts me with tenderness, like a caring mother rocking a newborn baby. Basking in God’s compassion, I remember who I truly am—a precious child of the Most High, worthy of all good. My divine inheritance is wholeness, love, prosperity, and joy. Assured of this Truth, the past no longer has any power over me. I claim my good in full right here and now.
They remembered that God was their rock, the Most High God their redeemer.—Psalm 78:35

Let Go Let God in Inner Peace

The peaceful presence of God is within me.

On this second Sunday of Advent, I focus on peace. I clear my mind of cluttered thoughts and replace them with images of tranquility. I visualize a quiet lake, the stars on a clear night sky, or my family snuggled in to restful sleep. I let go of outer concerns and trust Spirit. Peace is a state of mind in which I know I am one with God. The Presence is within me, around me, and in everyone for whom I care. Focused on peace, I am guided in every decision, and directed toward my good. By maintaining a peaceful state of mind, I allow the full expression of God within me to bless every area of my life. I hold only positive, faith-filled thoughts. As I choose to live peacefully, I am a blessing of peace to others.
Live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.—Romans 15:5

Let Go Let God with Hope

God is my ever-present source of hope.

God is with me through the stormy times in life. God is like the sun that shines even on a rainy day—it is merely hidden behind the clouds. In troubled times, my thoughts may turn cloudy with doubt and fear. If I feel separated from God, my hope may begin to fade. At such times, I turn within. I rest in quiet prayer and meditation. I gently release any sense of separation. I affirm that God is my ever-present source of hope. Sitting in the Silence, I hear the still, small voice within. It whispers, “God is in the rain.” This truth washes over me and cleanses me of fear. The renewing light of God shines through me like the rays of the sun. Spiritual light radiates from within, and my hope is restored.
Let your steadfast love, O Lord, be upon us, even as we hope in you.—Psalm 33:22

Let Go Let God Be Protected

Divinely protected, I live boldly and confidently.

The protection of Spirit is boundless. Wherever I go, I am guided and safe. The all-seeing wisdom of God is within me, as my inner voice and intuition. It is my steadfast lighthouse, gently guiding me away from stormy situations. Enlightened in the love of God, I am steered toward my highest good. Knowing I am divinely protected, I live boldly and courageously. I navigate through uncertain situations with supreme confidence, always expecting good. God is within and around me, calling forth the highest expression of humanity in myself and others. Wherever I am called to be, and whatever I am called to do, Spirit’s omnipotent power is with me. I am protected by the infallible Presence; I am always harbored in love.
Do not fear, greatly beloved, you are safe. Be strong and courageous!—Daniel 10:19

Let Go Let God Allow Healing

Wholeness is my divine birthright.

Healing occurs when physical and emotional blocks are removed from mind and body. Then life energy can move freely once again. If I experience sickness, I become aware of any thoughts of limitation and let them go. I consider how to care for my body, and make any necessary adjustments. By making healthy choices, I consciously move toward wholeness. By stretching, dancing, or exercising, I release tension or pain, and help my physical health. I let go of mental blocks with powerful statements: Sickness has no power over me. All that endures is wholeness. I may combine exercise, such as walking or yoga, with affirmations. Today I move toward wholeness, and wholeness grows from within.
Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well. —Matthew 9:22

Let Go Let God to Grow

I am growing toward the light.

In order to grow, a seed must be covered under the dirt and find its way to the light. While in the darkness, it is nurtured by soil, heat, and water. Once the seedling bursts through, it leans toward the sun and creates food from sunlight, water, and carbon dioxide. In time, the plant yields its fruit. Facing darkness is a normal process of life. At such times, I reach for the light of God to find my way, and I grow in faith, wisdom, understanding, and love. I become aware of my inner divinity and nurture my seeds of potential through prayer, study, and practice. The light of God helps me grow courageously. I keep moving toward Spirit and harvest the fruit of realization.
Other seed fell into good soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing and yielding thirty and sixty and a hundredfold.–Mark 4:8

Let Go Let God Now

I am home in the present moment.

The present moment is the most powerful moment of all. It is the only time I can breathe, connect with my body, and feel alive. When my mind is distracted and jumps to the past or the future, I may experience fear or worry unnecessarily. To be at peace, I need only return to the now—to this breath, to this heartbeat. As I breathe in, I gently think of the word “in.” As I breathe out, I softly say to myself, “out.” I repeat this cycle for several minutes, and any mind disturbances dissolve. Quiet and calm, I experience the peaceful power of the present moment in my body. My gentle breathing relaxes my inner dwelling. I am alive in my breath, I am at ease in my heart. I don’t need to go anywhere else to find peace. I am already home.

Now you are the body of Christ.—1 Corinthians 12:27

Let Go Let God with Light

I am the light of the world!

God’s light shines in and through me, guiding me to be a loving presence. The Psalmist sang: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” The same light that shined through Jesus is in me and my loved ones. If I am seeking answers, I trust the indwelling Christ to bless me with light and show me the way. As I follow God’s guidance, my steps are illumined and my words express faith. When I pray for others, I affirm: Spirit is leading you to your highest good. I behold my dear ones being receptive to God’s light. As I allow Spirit to enlighten my life, I see my path clearly. My life is a blessing to others, and I am a presence of light in the world.

Let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.—Matthew 5:16

Let Go Let God in Faith

I have absolute faith in God.

As Christmas approaches, my faith grows. I imagine what it must have been like 2,000 years ago when Mary was expecting baby Jesus. Her anticipation and wonder were multiplied knowing this baby was particularly special. Her faith was absolute and unshakable. My faith in God is immovable. If I sense a tinge of doubt, I close my eyes and feel the presence of Spirit. As I remember that with God all things are possible, my faith is instantly renewed. Mine is an understanding faith. I may not grasp all the complexities of life, but spiritual understanding assures me that divine order is always unfolding. As I am guided to something new or even challenging, I step out in faith and expect only good.
Whatever you ask for in prayer with faith, you will receive.—Matthew 21:22

Let Go Let God Dance

I join in the glorious dance of Life.

Sunlight sparkles across a blue lake. Shadows play across a wall. Winds rustle through evergreen forests. Even the busy city streets have a steady flow about them. All of life is a dance, a perfect choreography of Spirit. With joy and delight, I step in the beautiful flow of creation. As I turn my attention to the indwelling Spirit, I sense the underlying rhythm of all living things. It is in my own breath and my own heart. When this tempo changes on the outside, I stay attuned to my inner music—my divine guidance. I whirl and jump through twists and turns with seamless grace. In sync with Spirit, I play my unique part in the dance of Life.
Singers and dancers alike say, “All my springs are in you.”—Psalm 87:7

Let Go Let God in Comfort

I rest in the love of Spirit, knowing all is well.

Sunshine on my face, a loving hug from a friend, a crackling fire, a soft blanket, soothing candlelight, a hot bath, beautiful music … all of these bring me comfort. I know how to create a nurturing environment for my body, mind, and soul. I take good care of myself with gentleness and love. I know that just as important as what I do is the consciousness with which I do it. If I am conscious of the eternal love of Spirit, I am more deeply soothed by each activity of well-being. My awareness of God is the most fulfilling and lasting comfort of all. However I choose to soothe myself in body, mind, and soul, I do so knowing that I am eternally loved. And in the everlasting love of Spirit, all is truly well.

Let your steadfast love become my comfort according to your promise.—Psalm 119:76

Let Go Let God with Gratefulness

In all things, I give thanks to God.

I practice gratitude in all circumstances. I begin by thanking God as my omnipresent guide and source. Through the spiritual practice of thanksgiving, I move beyond doubt or worry into a place of faith and trust. Gratitude goes beyond giving thanks for help in times of need; it is a way of life. Gratefulness is my way of being, my foundation for living. As I give thanks, my heart and mind open to the goodness of God. I become a vessel into which divine abundance flows. My greatest blessing is the Christ Presence within—my hope, and the very essence of love and life. Every breath I take and every word I speak reflect the activity of God in me. For all of life’s blessings, I give thanks.
Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.–1 Thessalonians 5:18

Let Go Let God with Hospitality

I greet all people with friendly hospitality.

This holiday season may give me opportunities to welcome others into my home, workplace, or church. Whether I host friends or people I don’t know, I greet each one with heartfelt hospitality. Hospitality is my gift. And as I give, I receive. I demonstrate hospitality by considering the needs and wishes of others. I delight in making them feel right at home. I graciously offer my care and kindness as an expression of the love of God in me. Gratitude fills my heart as I serve and appreciate others. I acknowledge how much they have blessed me, and I let them know how I feel. My hospitality connects me with others, and I show them how special they are.
Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by doing that some have entertained angels without knowing it.—Hebrews 13:2

Let Go, Let God

I am guided and restored by God’s power and light.

Completing errands, shopping, planning meals, and hosting gatherings can cause stress during the holiday season. When I feel I don’t have enough time for everything, or find myself harried, I stop and take a deep breath—then release. I let go of the day’s worries and let God restore my peace. As I commune with God, I release my anxiety and let Spirit renew my energy. I then have the strength and calm to complete what is mine to do. Spirit is the light that guides me. When I don’t know what to do, I ask within. I let go of my way and let God shine the light of understanding in me. My life runs smoothly as I yield to the light and power of God. In the midst of holiday busyness, I let go and let God.
To give light to those who sit in darkness ... to guide our feet into the way of peace.—Luke 1:79

Let Go Let God in Togetherness

I am never alone; God is always with me.

Wherever I am and whomever I am with, God is there. Spirit is always with me. When I walk in the woods, sit by a stream, or hear a beautiful birdsong, I sense the presence of the Divine. If I ever feel separate from others, I consider whether I am holding thoughts of separation, such as judgments or comparisons. I release them and remember the Truth: whomever I am with, God is there. I affirm: I am one with God and with all people. I soften my gaze and look again at the people around me. I behold Spirit expressing as them. I relax and feel my oneness with others and with all of life. I enjoy being together with others. All of life shares divinity—we are always together in God.
Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate.—Mark 10:9

Let Go Let God with Will

I use my human willpower to act on divine ideas in the world.

My human willpower helps me to accomplish things in the world. When I align it with the power of God, I can do anything. Will is the capacity to make choices, and I use it to shape my ideas and my life. When I act on a thought, I bring it to life. I use this power to make healthy choices, choose positive thoughts, or focus on a goal and achieve it. With the ability of will, I direct my life. I make wise choices to be the best person I can be. I align my willpower with the power of God. In prayer and meditation, I listen to divine ideas of peace, reconciliation, forgiveness, and love. I choose to act on these divine ideas for myself and others, even in difficulties. In this way, I manifest Spirit in the world.

If God is for us, who is against us?—Romans 8:31

Let Go Let God in Prosperity

I am open to God’s creative flow.

Eliminate such thoughts as ‘I can’t,’ ‘I’m afraid,’ and ‘there is not enough’. Instead, talk only about the things you want to see live and grow. Keep your thoughts centered in the idea of abundance, sufficiency, and well-being. Through faith, I align my thoughts and words with God’s creative flow. I am enfolded by the Divine seeking to express through me. When I need encouragement, I turn to nature and admire life expressing in countless ways. I observe the hills, valleys, and forests overflowing with life. I am part of that same richness, created to give, love, and be loved. I enjoy life’s abundance. With faith, I focus on what I want to see live and grow.
The pastures of the wilderness overflow ... they shout and sing together for joy.–Psalm 65:12-13

Let Go Let God Write It Down

I can do all things through Christ in me.

Today I let the power of my words flow. I write down my ideas as they come to me, recording my special needs and desires. I write an original message of Truth for myself. If I need healing, I create a simple healing statement—God is my health. I write it down and add my healing thoughts and prayers. If I seek greater harmony, prosperity, or peace, I write about the fulfillment of that need—God is healing me now. Love harmonizes my relationships. I am prospered by divine ideas. I abide in the peace of God. I read my affirmations aloud, and envision good results. I may also find a Bible verse that speaks to my heart and fits my need. When I put my faith into words, I call forth the creative power of Spirit in me.
Be doers of the word.—James 1:22

Let Go Let God with Laughter

My life is filled with laughter and my heart is full of joy.

There is nothing like a good laugh to make me feel refreshed, free, and joyful. In the presence of laughter, any worries or stress melt away. When I laugh with others, I feel connected to them. Today I take everything a little less seriously. I open, soften, and embrace the joy that is everywhere present. I look around and see the humor in life. Laughter arises as I open myself to express it. My burdens lighten, and my spirit is lifted. My laugh comes as easily as the joyful giggle of a carefree child. I happily go about my day sharing my good energy with others. As I do, my heart is cheerful and I live in joy.

Then our mouth was filled with laughter, and our tongue with shouts of joy; then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.”–Psalm 126:2

Let Go Let God with Success

I apply my talents and abilities to my work, and I am successful.

My work is more than a source of supply; it is also a source of fulfillment. My work gives me the opportunity to use the talents and abilities God has given me. When I use my gifts to serve and bring joy to others, I have a sense of accomplishment—I achieve true success. No job needs to be boring or humdrum. If I feel my work does not give me the opportunity to grow, I pray for a change. In the meantime, I do the best I can right where I am and thank God for my job every day. I bring happiness to the people I serve. Today I put my heart into what I do, knowing that true success comes from the inside. I am blessed to be of service in the world!
Serve him with single mind and willing heart; for the Lord searches every mind, and understands every plan and thought.—1 Chronicles 28:9

Let Go Let God with Encouragement

Infused with Spirit, I am strengthened and inspired.

When learning to fly, a fledgling bird often needs prompting from its mother to try again if it has fallen. Life has its challenges, but even when I feel defeated, I do not allow discouraging thoughts to hold me down. God is my greatest support; I am inspired with the courage to persevere. Deep at the center of my being lies a powerhouse of encouragement. In prayer, I turn away from self-defeating thoughts and tap in to the divine spark in my heart that burns with optimism, and fuels me forward. From this higher vantage point, setbacks become stepping-stones. I spread my wings with confidence—nothing can hold me back. Spirit uplifts me and carries me forward.
We will not fear, though the earth should change, though the mountains shake in the heart of the sea.—Psalm 46:2

Let Go Let God with Gentleness

I heal myself with gentleness.

Gentleness toward myself is an act of self-love and the first step toward compassion for others. Jesus proclaimed that all humans belong to one spiritual family. His teachings were about gentleness, compassion, and love among people. I practice gentleness by first noticing my feelings. If I feel anger, I look for the causes within. I meditate, pray, or write in a journal. With time and patience, I may discover my inner child calling for love. I comfort this part of me with utmost tenderness, as if caressing my soul with the delicate touch of a feather. As I nurture my inner child, my anger subsides. I am healed inside and feel at home within myself. Any sense of separation dissolves; I belong to myself and to humanity.
You who have received the Spirit should restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness.—Galatians 6:1

Let Go Let God Learn

I treasure all my learning experiences.

A Chinese proverb states that learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere. All my triumphs and tribulations are to be treasured. With each experience, I learn more about myself and my purpose. With every situation, I see the world from a new perspective, and I grow. Each stage of my life has its challenges and rewards, and brings wisdom and insight. How exciting to know life’s lessons are unfolding! How wonderful that each day inspires new growth! My life is not stagnant or dull, but filled with new joys. I look forward to each day, ready to learn about myself and the world. I treasure my life and all its lessons.
So that they may have all the riches of assured understanding ... all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.—Colossians 2:2-3

Let Go Let God Be Free

Today, I choose to be free.

Freedom is a state of being beyond external circumstances. I can experience freedom regardless of what I see outside myself. I choose to be positive in my thoughts and feelings, attitudes and perceptions. By choosing to focus on the good, I am free. I release negative thoughts and emotions, and feel lighter in mind, body, and soul. I nurture my mind with ideas of health and well-being and experience the freedom of a balanced and productive life. My outlook is positive—I expect only good. Freedom is a choice, a state of mind. By holding positive thoughts and feelings, I experience life to the fullest. Today I choose to be optimistic. Today I choose my freedom.
I have set before you life and death ... Choose life so that you and your descendants may live.—Deuteronomy 30:19

Let Go Let God in Harmony

As I live in harmony, I am an agent for peace.

I am in harmony with Spirit in mind, body, and soul. As I experience wholeness and express it in my unique way, I become an agent for peace in the world. Spirit is the essence of my being, the I Am expressing individually as me. My body is the vehicle to carry Spirit into the world. As I align myself with Christ within, thoughts of wholeness fill my mind, my body experiences balance, and I feel aliveness in my soul. If I experience disharmony or disease, I pause to recenter my thoughts and focus on Spirit. In harmony with God, I affect my outer environment positively. Aligned with Divine Love—in mind, body, and soul—I speak and act in the world from the peaceful, loving center of my being.

You also are built together spiritually into a dwelling place for God.—Ephesians 2:22
