Let Go Let God in Balance

Work, play, rest, and prayer are balanced in my life today.

Creating a new dimension of consciousness, one that Jesus called the kingdom of heaven, is my purpose as I move through this day. Achieving that goal requires time and commitment, and I do what is mine to do with gratitude and appreciation. However, rest, relaxation, and prayer are also elements that are vital to my spiritual well-being. My mortal mind tends to overemphasize negative, fear-based challenges at the expense of the light and love that fill even my gloomiest days. Balance occurs when I surrender my mortal mind to the infinite mind of Spirit within me. There I will find my day perfectly balanced in rewarding and surprising ways among work, rest, relaxation, and prayer.

I have seen the business that God has given to everyone to be busy with. He has made everything suitable for its time.–Ecclesiastes 3:10-11

Let Go Let God Forgive

I celebrate the power of forgiveness.

I am a divine work in progress—continually learning and growing. In the process of becoming all that I can be, I may make mistakes; yet when I know better, I do better. To remember the truth of my being, I breathe gently and pause for a sacred time of prayer. As I connect to my divine nature, I surrender negativity and perspectives that do not serve my highest good. Self-limiting thoughts dissipate, and I see who I am. From this higher perspective, I recognize the wholeness within myself and all others. Even though I have made mistakes in the past, I remember that I am loved and loving. I celebrate the power of forgiveness that sets me and all others free.

He will wipe every tear from their eyes ... mourning and crying and pain will be no more, for the first things have passed away.—Revelation 21:4

Let Go Let God Seek Comfort

I am comforted by the Christ presence within.

We are all born into this world as spiritual beings. Regardless of external appearances, the potential perfection of health, abundance, and peace lies within. In times of conflict, I seek comfort from this inner sanctuary. Through the Gospel narratives, Jesus demonstrated the importance of taking time away from daily activity for solitude and prayer. If at any time my mind perceives less than the highest potential in any situation, I turn within through the solitude of prayer. Praying to remember the truth of my being, I breathe in the consciousness of the ever-present Christ presence within. I affirm healing in times of sickness; abundance in times of need; and joy in times of sorrow.

In your presence there is fullness of joy.—Psalm 16:11

Let Go Let God Live Centered

I generate positive energy when I live a centered life.

While the life I am creating begins within, my choices affect more than just myself. The way I react to things creates waves of energy that move outward, influencing the people and world around me in small and large ways. I make consciously connected choices knowing that the positive energy I create moves outward into the world at large. The way I choose to show up in the world helps others move closer to a core of calm, centered energy. Before I react to any negativity, I pause. I take a breath and use this moment for reflection, allowing myself to relax into a conscious response. I choose to be centered, living on purpose, contributing to a world of love and peace.

And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body.—Colossians 3:15

Let Go Let God Be Compassionate

I am compassionate and caring.

I let my feeling nature, my inner spirit of love, guide my actions whenever I see someone who needs a helping hand, a listening ear, or a kind word. As an expression of divine love, I am naturally gentle and caring about the situations of the people around me. “Be kind” is my mantra. I look for ways each day to make a difference in the life of another. Where I see sadness, I offer words of peace and encouragement. When I sense stress, I offer lightness and smiles. Being compassionate and caring is staying Christ-centered, attuned to the feelings of others while remaining aware of the truth about the person or circumstance. Prayer keeps me centered in God and compassionately aware of how I can help.

Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor.—Romans 12:10

Let Go Let God All Is In Divine Order

All is in divine order.

There are times when I may not recognize that all things work together for good. When I align my thoughts with the Divine and open myself to ideas, I come to realize that my life is indeed in order. Looking back on times when circumstances were not going the way I wanted, I can now see those experiences led to a blessing. Affirming All is in divine order shifts my consciousness away from thoughts of limitation or lack to infinite possibilities of all that is good! I need not concern myself with how things will work out; I only need to hold to my faith that they will. I affirm divine order and know that however my life unfolds, it will be for my highest good. All is in divine order.

Do not be afraid, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the kingdom.—Luke 12:32

Let Go Let God in Harmony

In Spirit, we are all one.

There is a saying that harmony cannot be achieved if we are all singing the same note. When we add our own uniqueness to everything we do, we add depth and meaning. As I move through the day, I look at everyone through my heart’s eyes. My heart knows that each soul is here in a state of grace, and this knowing opens the way to harmony. I remind myself that from the highest perspective all souls are vessels for the One. I let this knowing lead the way in my interactions with others. I never discount the value of any soul; instead, I take joy in each person. This anchors me in harmony. In Spirit, we are all one, growing individually and mutually as we honor, love, and understand each other.

There is no longer Jew or Greek, there is no longer slave or free, there is no longer male and female; for all of you are one in Christ Jesus.—Galatians 3:28

Let Go, Let God

I release fear-based reactions and allow infinite love to fill me.

Each day brings new adventures in being. Keeping up with the schedule I compile for myself each morning could become a challenge as the day unfolds. Facing challenges and making choices are essential elements in fulfilling the purpose that brings me, a spiritual being, into human form. Every loving choice represents another step toward the transformation of this world into the new dimension that Jesus Christ called the kingdom of heaven. Jesus also said, “I can do nothing on my own” (John 5:30), and I remember those words as I face every challenge. I gently release fear-based thoughts that crowd my mortal mind and allow the infinite love within me to guide me to my highest good.

Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.—Proverbs 3:5

Let Go Let God Securely

I walk confidently in the light of God.

The spiritual truth is that I walk in divine light in every moment. However, there are times when I become so focused on everyday life that I forget God’s presence is everywhere active in me and as me. In these moments, I remember to stay centered rather than let fear take over my mind. To remind myself of spiritual truths and bring myself back to center, I take a gentle breath then release all concerns as I exhale. I then affirm words of truth, saying quietly to myself: I walk in the light of God. I am at peace within my being, knowing that I am an expression of God, an expression of light. As I move through my day, I am reminded that wherever I am, God is.

For ‘In him we live and move and have our being’; as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we too are his offspring.’—Acts 17:28

Let Go Let God as Empathy

My heart connects with all hearts in loving compassion.

Loving my neighbor is the best thing I can do while one of the most difficult to achieve. In the midst of all that is occurring in the world, I remain open and receptive to the possibility of healing. Love is the only power and God the only presence. Every small effort that I make to hold my heart open generates powerful healing energy, no matter what is happening around me. I find my comfort and solace here. I rest in this heartfelt presence. With my family, my friends, my loved ones, and myself, opening my heart space allows for something new to emerge—a new spirit, a new life, a new presence of love and peace. I feel this healing power moving in my life and world as I align and harmonize my being with divine love.

So then, putting away falsehood, let all of us speak the truth to our neighbors, for we are members of one another.—Ephesians 4:25

Let Go Let God with Confidence

I live in confidence and trust in my higher self.

I may have long forgotten how it felt to master walking as a toddler or how many times I had to pick myself up and start over again. As adults, we can gain inspiration by observing the progress, determination, and confidence of a child. These seeds of resilience are still with me, waiting to be activated through belief and faith in my divine essence within. What is it that I would like to accomplish, what dream, what skills, what travels, what overcoming? I pray for guidance and direction. I listen. I begin with one trusting step forward. Then another. My faith is strong, no matter how many times I need to redirect or start over. God life within is my strength. I live in confidence and trust in my higher self.

Do not, therefore, abandon that confidence of yours; it brings a great reward.—Hebrews 10:35

Let Go Let God Open to Healing

In mind, body, and spirit, I am healed and whole.

In the Bible, Jesus reassured people that their faith had made them well. They made progress because of their intention and their willingness to be healed. When something in my life seems out of order, I begin my healing process by observing the situation without judgment, fear, worry, or anxiety. I open my mind to clear direction and affirm divine order. Healing is happening with or without my permission, yet it moves more quickly and freely with my attention and cooperation. I intercept any negative thinking about my healing and instead fill my mind with the wonder of divine intelligence coursing throughout my body. In mind, body, and spirit, I am healed and whole.

Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.”—Matthew 9:22

Let Go Let God through Inner Peace

Centered in peace, I am renewed.

Many major cities are home to beautiful parks. Amid concrete, rushing cars, and busy people are lush areas of beauty, play, and nature. So, too, in the midst of the busy thoughts and priorities in my mind, there is a place of peace and beauty. The journey to my peaceful place is not measured in miles. With my awareness focused within, I follow my breath from my head down into my heart space. I allow each inhale to expand my sense of love and peace in the center of my being. Each exhale carries away the tension and distraction of things beyond my control and imagined limitations. In a time of quiet communion with the divine energy that infuses each breath and every thought with peace, I find rest. Centered in peace, I am renewed.

I have calmed and quieted my soul.—Psalm 131:2

Let Go Let God with Vision

I hold a vision of goodness and create the life I want to live.

As I reflect on the direction of my life, I consider the things I would like to experience. I picture the result I want. I think about how I will feel when this blessing comes to fruition. I take these thoughts and feelings into prayer and envision the goodness I desire. I hold a vision of peace, light, and love. My inspired vision sees beyond any appearance of chaos or limitation to the beauty and perfection that is inherent in all creation. I look past any seeming challenge to the completion of my inspiration. Fully connected to the creative power within, I hold a vision of overflowing goodness. I see life rich with joy, love, and peace. I know that all things are possible, and I am open to my good.

So consider the word and understand the vision.—Daniel 9:23

Let Go Let God in World Peace

Peace in my life is my contribution to peace in the world.

Reading or watching the news today may cause me to feel frustrated and angry. It would seem that there is little I can do to affect events in the world. Surely world peace lies well beyond my abilities. Yet I know and affirm that all life is an expression of spiritual consciousness. My every thought plays a vital role in determining not only how my life will unfold, but what I am contributing to the collective consciousness. The peace I choose to express in my life resonates into all of creation. As today unfolds, I welcome every opportunity to stop and center myself. Through my spiritual willingness, I contribute to peace in the world.

I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!—John 16:33

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I affirm the divine possibility in others.

I am a spiritual being, created in the image and likeness of God, and as such, I have creative power. All things are possible through the power of God within, and prayer is an affirmation of those potentialities. While I cannot control the events or people around me, I can manage how I think and feel about them and how I respond. When I pray for others, I do so not to control or change them, but to trust the spirit of God within them. When I pray for others, I consciously utilize my innate creative power. I see the good in the people I pray for, and I affirm their divine potential for love, joy, peace, abundance, and health. When I pray for others in this way, I respond lovingly to life.

Therefore encourage one another and build up each other, as indeed you are doing.—1 Thessalonians 5:11

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I trust divine guidance to show me the way.

Spiritual guidance is always present within and all around me. I know without a doubt that the answers I seek are now on the way to me. I focus on letting go of any concerns I may have. I don’t try to solve situations by myself. Instead, I release everything into prayer. If I am experiencing any darkness in my life, I know God will guide me out of it into the light. If I begin to worry about something, I remind myself of divine guidance. Enlightenment may come at any time and often in unexpected ways. I must keep my mind open and receptive to all avenues of divine direction. Insights will come to lead me along my right path. I move forward one step at a time with confidence. My mind is at peace.

You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will receive me with honor.—Psalm 73:24

Let Go Let God on World Day of Prayer

I am a healing presence.

A gentle yet powerful message from Spirit within is continually calling on me to accept all that I can be. Today I unite in mind and heart with others celebrating World Day of Prayer by affirming these words: Aligning my mind and heart with the mind and heart of God, I center myself in Pure Being. In a state of spiritual realization, I remember I can never be broken, limited, or unworthy. Courageously, I rise into my true spiritual nature in this moment of healing. I heal the whole of me as I accept that I am brave. I am bright. I am beautiful. My self-regard and self-respect are not mere platitudes but rather essential stances from which I support healing in the world.

Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.—Philippians 4:9

Let Go Let God be Free

When I open myself to possibilities, I set myself free.

The view I see today is just a small part of the larger picture. Absolute freedom comes with the realization that what I see with my eyes is the surface view. When I look from within, I am free to see the whole picture. Looking to the future, I make a commitment to see beyond appearances. I vow to go within and connect with my divine nature when I envision my path ahead. I allow myself the freedom to understand that what shows up for me in the world of the senses will look different from the picture I paint in my imagination. I am free when I evolve and grow with the changing view. When I open myself to unlimited possibilities, I set myself free.

Live as free people.—1 Peter 2:16

Let Go Let God in Remembrance

Through the practice of remembrance, I honor the past and infuse it with love.

On this day, I honor and remember the past. I bring to mind events that have made the news: individuals who rose in the face of tragedy, and hearts that were broken by loss. One by one, I bring each of these thoughts into prayer. Holding them gently in my mind, I surround them with love in a consciousness of God. I affirm the peace, power, and presence of God in the midst of all situations past, present, and future. Where there seems to be trouble or discord in the outer world, the inner spirit of God is an ever-present source of comfort. Praying from this spirit within, I send thoughts of forgiveness, healing, and gratitude where they are needed.

Take thought for what is noble in the sight of all. If it is possible, so far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.—Romans 12:17-18

Let Go Let God through Wisdom

Divine wisdom guides my daily choices.

I access divine wisdom when I face big decisions. In the silence of my prayer time, I quiet the many thoughts competing for my attention. Affirming a simple phrase like Peace, be still opens space in my mind for the wisdom within me to rise into conscious awareness. A new insight or an internal nudge points the way to my highest good. I also take time to allow divine wisdom to guide the simple choices I encounter throughout the day. Pausing before I eat allows me to make healthy choices. In the space of a gentle breath I discover guidance for words to create peace and understanding in difficult situations. Day by day I learn to turn to the wisdom of Spirit. Divine wisdom guides my daily choices.

Show by your good life that your works are done with gentleness born of wisdom.—James 3:13

Let Go Let God in the Creative Process

I am a divine expression of infinite creative energy.

Symbolically, the seven days of creation described in the Bible correspond to the seven stages of the creative process. The Book of Genesis also shares that humankind was created “in the image of God.” It stands to reason then, that I must be an expression of that same divine energy and an essential part of the creative process. As such, I birth divine ideas into tangible expression in this mortal experience. The creative process is sparked by a vague restlessness, a dissatisfaction with what is. Ideas become manifest, and clarity begins to take shape when I surrender to the process and affirm: I am a divine expression of infinite creative energy.

So God created humankind in his image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.—Genesis 1:27

Let Go Let God Appreciate Prosperity

All things are possible through divine life within.

I have a consciousness of abundance. My creative expression is the foundation for prosperity, and I watch for opportunities to translate these ideas into action. Taking time to actively express appreciation for this world of plenty changes my perspective from lack to abundance. All that I could ever need is found here. In gratitude I affirm: All things are possible through divine life within.

But Jesus looked at them and said, “For mortals it is impossible, but for God all things are possible.”—Matthew 19:26

Let Go Let God Explore

Each day I am reminded that I live in a divinely created world.

Being in a familiar place is comforting, yet exploring new destinations has its rewards. As I discover the majesty of this world, I make a spiritual connection with others. The more I seek, the more inclusive and accepting I become. I also take a fresh look at views and scenes I have retained as memories or captured in paintings or photographs I have made. Each new look provides greater appreciation. My explorations go beyond the physical realm when I explore within. Here is where I go to express my spiritual identity and here is where I discover that I am at home wherever I am, wherever I travel. Each day I am reminded that I live in a divinely created world.

Where can I go from your spirit? Or where can I flee from your presence?—Psalm 139:7

Let Go Let God Realize Potential

I radiate the light of God from within, and I realize my potential.

With his message, Jesus encouraged everyone to let the treasures, gifts, and talents within find expression. By doing so, I live with purpose and experience the flow of Source expressing through me. My divine gifts may seem dormant at times, but in no way do I allow that to deter me. Divine assistance is mine for the asking. I have only to shift my attention from my concerns to the center of being in which Spirit is all. I begin the day acknowledging oneness with Source. I do so with the certainty that God’s presence is ready and poised to assist me as I move toward my potential. The blessings I have to offer are now brought forth into the world through the radiant light of God within.

All that the Father has is mine. For this reason I said that he will take what is mine and declare it to you.—John 16:15

Let Go Let God Make Progress

Each day is an opportunity to make progress in my life.

We are always making progress, even when we are seemingly taking two steps forward and three steps back. We cannot unlearn what we have learned just as we cannot undo what we have experienced. With that in mind, I make the decision to point myself in a purposeful direction. I have learned from my experiences. I seek to do more of what makes a positive difference in my life and less of what does not. Even in times of chaos there is order. A failure shows me what not to do. I have faith that as I listen to that “still, small voice” I will be guided. I proceed with confidence, optimism, and trust. Each day is an adventure and an opportunity to make progress in my life.

Put these things into practice, devote yourself to them, so that all may see your progress.—1 Timothy 4:15

Let Go Let God be Selfless

I practice selflessness when I express love and compassion to others.

I am a spiritual being living a human experience, and as such I have all that I need to be loving, selfless, and compassionate. When I focus less on my physical wants and more on the desires of my spiritual self, I embody the selfless spirit of God. My spiritual self reveres all life and wants to express as generosity and kindness. So I practice interacting with others with compassion, understanding, and love. Being selfless does not mean I neglect myself, but rather it means I express more of my divine self. When I practice selflessness, I show up authentically as my best self. I give of myself and I am blessed in return.

You were taught to ... be renewed in the spirit of your minds, and to clothe yourselves with the new self, created according to the likeness of God in true righteousness and holiness.—Ephesians 4:22-24

Let Go Let God Rest

I rest in God’s love and peace.

The presence of Spirit in my life brings peace and contentment. The knowledge that the fullness of God is deep inside me is also restorative. It allows me to feel renewed in a way that nothing else can. However hectic life seems, I have only to turn within to find the calm I need. I breathe deeply and affirm that Spirit fills me with peace and tranquility. This short meditation may be all I have time for right now but it is enough to make me feel centered in God. I am now able to move on with my day with a sense of relaxation and lightness of being. To rest in God is to connect with the spiritual presence within me. When I take time in prayer and meditation, I can feel the movement of Spirit. I am rested and renewed.

Therefore my heart is glad, and my soul rejoices; my body also rests secure.—Psalm 16:9

Let Go Let God in Faith

I express my faith with every choice I make today.

My every choice, no matter how small, expresses my faith in something at that time. Those moment-by-moment choices create my life experience, so it would be impossible to live without faith. The great news is that I can change my focus whenever I choose—I am not a victim of the events and challenges in my life. When I pause for a moment to remember the Truth of infinite love, I am at peace. I take time today to observe the life I am living. It is a perfect expression of the faith I am holding. Faith allows me to see peace in the midst of conflict, to find abundance where once there seemed lack, and to love all others rather than judge.

But ask in faith, never doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind.—James 1:6

Let Go Let God Reveal Purpose

My inner light reveals my true purpose.

My search for meaning cannot be found in the whirlwind of daily happenings and routines. I choose instead to look within for answers. As I shift from outer to inner reflection, from the physical to consciousness, from ego to Spirit, I awaken to the presence of God within. Here I find out who I really am and what I am here to do. Here I find Self. Whenever I question life’s meaning, I quiet my heart, open my mind, and become receptive to divine purpose. My inner spirit knows who I am and what is mine to do. I breathe slowly, gently, and let go into the angelic whisper of divine guidance. I let go and simply be. My inner light reveals my true purpose.

My purpose shall stand, and I will fulfill my intention.—Isaiah 46:10
