Let Go Let God Find Inspiration

I find inspiration in all things.

The luminous dance of the aurora borealis has inspired many artists. The Grand Canyon hints at the incredible vastness of life. The kaleidoscopic Great Barrier Reef can feel transcendent. While unique, natural wonders invoke awe, when I am attentive, I find great inspiration in everyday things. While sitting in any office or room, I can marvel at the slant of light in a corner, the din of children playing outside, or the wonder of everyday technology. My own existence is a magnificently crafted miracle. When I meditate on my heartbeat, I feel a profound sense of home. I recognize how magical life truly is when I look for and find inspiration.
Ever since the creation of the world his eternal power and divine nature ... have been understood and seen through the things he has made.—Romans 1:20

Let Go Let God Live Fully

I am divinely inspired to create and live a full, abundant life.

I am the author of my story. No matter what happens, I choose the meaning I give to events in my life. I see myself through divine perception: as a spiritual victor, an over-comer, and not as a victim of life’s circumstances. Inspired by Spirit, I discover deeper understanding and new gifts in myself as I move through challenges. No part of my story limits the adventure of this day. There are no mistakes or wounds of the past that keep me from living fully now. I forgive myself and others the errors that occur when we fall short of being our best selves. We are all doing the best we can in this moment. I am free to love, to laugh, and to fully live the abundant life I am divinely inspired to create.
I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.—John 10:10

Let Go Let God in Balance

My life is peaceful and balanced as I turn to God within.

News feeds, social media, maneuvering the demands of work and family—these can be part of everyday living. But they do not have to consume my life. I can balance this busyness with moments of quietness and solitude. Prayer and meditation allow me a peaceful place in which to rest and experience inner peace. Moments in prayer move my focus from my head and into my heart. They help me feel more relaxed and refreshed, able to meet the tasks of my day. By balancing my tasks with moments of prayer, I am achieving a balance that helps me meet the demands of my day with an uplifted heart and greater energy.
My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.—Isaiah 32:18

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I reach out to others through faith and prayer.

I find value in praying for others, extending a spiritual helping hand, reaching out in a gesture of comfort and support. A connection is made that blesses both the giver and the receiver. As I pray for others today, I am connecting on a spiritual level that is beyond boundaries or beliefs and strengthened through our united faith in God. Prayer links me heart to heart with others and connects us with the all-knowing, all-providing presence of God. Through our spiritual connection, we support and encourage each other, and we have the ideas and insight to make positive changes in our lives and in the world. With hands and hearts united in God, we are each abundantly blessed.
Reach out your hand and put it in my side. Do not doubt but believe.—John 20:27

Let Go Let God from Inner Peace

I draw peace and strength from my inner Source.

I am uplifted by the wise words of Gautama Buddha, “Peace comes from within. Do not seek it without.” These words remind me that in order to experience peace in the world, I must experience it first within my own heart and mind. Whenever I experience a personal challenge, I turn within and release any resistance I may be holding on to. I breathe in to symbolically cleanse my mind, allowing any tension to release. I then become more calm and relaxed. With a clear mind, I experience a deep sense of inner peace that comes only from God. I no longer expect outer conditions to make me peaceful or happy. As I tap into God’s peace in my heart, I sense spiritual strength throughout my being.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives.—John 14:27

Let Go, Let God

I let go of the past and boldly move forward to my greater good.

When I let go of something, I may feel a sense of relief that I am no longer hanging on to it. Yet worrying and fretting may bring back what I thought I had released. Today I declare my freedom. I have the strength I need to release. I have the deep, innate awareness of the freedom that is mine. I stand fast in my faith and in my understanding that I can release that which is not for my highest good. I let it go, knowing that God is my comfort and my strength. God within me propels me forward to new avenues of fulfillment. I am created for a purpose, and by letting go I am moving toward that purpose. I am free to express my true nature. I am free to be me.
Look, we have left everything and followed you.—Matthew 19:27

Let Go Let God Express My Gifts

I express and share my unique gifts with the world.

Every person has unique, God-given talents that find expression through a skill or passion. I, too, have natural gifts bestowed upon me, and the choice is mine whether I express them in ways that bless and inspire others. When I keep my talents to myself, they do not grow or increase. When I actively express and give my gifts freely to others, I show appreciation for my Spirit-led abilities. As I use my talents to help create a better world for all, I fulfill my purpose. I do my divine job to express the talent God has given me and follow my true calling, in whatever form it takes.
For to all those who have, more will be given, and they will have an abundance; but from those who have nothing, even what they have will be taken away.—Matthew 25:29

Let Go Let God as Caregiver

I am God’s love in expression.

When I care and share love and attention with someone in need, I am God’s love in expression. Putting aside time and finding ways to give is also about making a heart-to-heart connection with others. I am the eyes that see when there is a need. I am the hands that offer a gentle touch to soothe someone’s pain. I am the companion for someone feeling alone or forgotten. I am an advocate who supports the need for clean air and soil. When I turn I can into I am, the good that I give returns to bless me. This activity of giving and receiving creates a circle of love. With each caring act, each loving word and touch, I am being a messenger of God’s love.
We know love by this, that he laid down his life for us—and we ought to lay down our lives for one another.—1 John 3:16

Let Go Let God through Awakening

Divine revelations awaken me to greater understanding.

Daily routines may keep me paused from fully experiencing life. As I move through my activities, I may be half conscious of my actions. Being awake is a state of consciousness. Still, when I remain present and wholly engaged in each moment and every activity, I begin to experience spiritual awakenings in every instant. Practices such as meditation, inspirational reading, and attending sacred services may aid in deepening my spiritual understanding. Spiritual awakening occurs when I dedicate myself to the awareness of Spirit active in my life. Engaging in daily interactions and activities can also be catalysts to higher levels of consciousness.
The Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory.—Isaiah 60:19

Let Go Let God Be Authentic

I am one with Spirit—an authentic expression of my true divinity.

In a world that is constantly changing, I may ponder my role in it and who I have come here to be. My personality, interests, and desires may change over time, but the one thing that never changes is my divine connection. Jesus taught that I am authentic, divine, and blessed because I have the kingdom of God within me. I may not always speak or act in ways that reflect my authentic self, but that does not take away from its presence within me. I can always trust in the knowledge that my connection to God is authentic. I strive to further express this truth in my life—to think, speak, and act in ways that are in alignment with my authentic divine nature. I am one with Spirit—an authentic expression of my true divinity.
The kingdom of God is among you.—Luke 17:21

Let Go Let God as World Peace

I am an ambassador of peace in the world.

At any point in time, millions of people are praying for peace in our world. While peace may feel far out of reach, I remain steadfast in my prayers and faith that peace is attainable. I also realize that beyond speaking my prayer, I must be it. As an ambassador of peace in the world, I show up as the spiritual quality of peace itself. I move through everyday life—physically, emotionally, and mentally—infused with the essence of peace. I affirm peace by listening to others from my heart, even if their ideas, words, and actions are in conflict with my own. I affirm peace by expressing appreciation whenever and wherever I encounter beauty, kindness, and goodness. My life is an embodied, living, breathing prayer of world peace.

Therefore say, “I hereby grant him my covenant of peace.”—Numbers 25:12

Let Go Let God with a Leap of Faith

I am moving forward in my journey of faith.

In 1969 people around the world watched as astronaut Neil Armstrong stepped onto the lunar surface and said, “That’s one small step for man, one giant leap for mankind.” Reaching the moon was a leap of faith. Each leap of faith I take is founded on my belief in living from the spirit of God within me and surrounding me. I can accomplish what I’m divinely inspired to do. I have a world of opportunities awaiting me. Mine is a sacred journey of walking a walk that leads me to greater expression of myself. I am never limited to only what I think I can achieve. With God, I can—and will—accomplish and envision even more than I could ever imagine was possible. I am moving forward in my journey of faith.
All things can be done for the one who believes.—Mark 9:23

Let Go Let God Forgive

In forgiving, I find peace.

If I find myself upset or hurt by something another person did or said to me, I may feel justified in holding on to resentment. In that moment, I have a choice to make. Do I perpetuate the injustice by remaining unforgiving? Or do I let Spirit work through me and choose to forgive, thus bringing healing energy into the situation? Forgiveness is a simple yet profound act that frees me to move forward. I do not condone the harmful actions of another, but still I can find it in my heart to forgive and release the situation. Forgiveness is an expression of God’s love through me. With forgiveness, I am able to look for and find the good in others and to feel the good in myself. In forgiving, I find peace.
Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone.—Mark 11:25

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

God is my strength and vitality. I am renewed.

As I turn to my inner center of strength, I activate the healing, life-giving flow of God. I can feel the presence of Spirit at work to nourish, restore, and quicken every cell of my body. I affirm this when I echo Myrtle Fillmore’s words, “God in the midst of us that frees and heals.” Every cell works in perfect harmony, establishing a latticework of strength and vitality. Upon this power-filled structure of faith, my natural balance of health is restored. My mind fills with uplifting thoughts, my emotions lift with invigorating energy, and my body establishes divine perfection of wholeness. From within and moving out, my healing takes place. God is my strength and vitality. I am renewed .
Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly.—Isaiah 58:8

Let Go Let God with Affirmative Prayer

My mind and body respond to words of Truth.

When I pray affirmatively—thinking or speaking words that reflect positive beliefs about the desired outcome, I emit positive energy. I speak the truth about my body: I am created in the image and likeness of God, whole and strong in every way. My body responds to these words with an increased flow of divine healing life. I speak the truth about my mind: Divine light guides me. My mind is clear and I make wise decisions with clarity and confidence. I speak the truth about my life: I am a pure expression of God. I live in harmony; I am prosperous and successful. All is in divine order. In the quiet stillness of prayer, I feel my connection with God.
When the crowds saw it, they were filled with awe, and they glorified God, who had given such authority to human beings.—Matthew 9:8

Let Go Let God in Divine Order

I am divinely imprinted with all that I need to succeed.

An acorn carries within it the imprint of its destiny to become a mighty oak tree. Within me lies the imprint of my heart’s desires and the imprint of my sacred lineage. Spiritual order proceeds from within to the outer. I reflect on the divinity that permeates me—my source of strength and new ideas. As clearly as I see the potential of the oak tree in the acorn, I see all that I desire to be and to have arising from the divine imprint in me. My faith in God-life moving through every cell of my being propels me ever forward, first as the idea and then the expression. I do not worry about when or how the process unfolds. I trust divine order in my life.

The kingdom of God is as if someone would scatter seed on the ground ... and the seed would sprout and grow, he does not know how.—Mark 4:26, 27

Let Go Let God be the Foundation

I build my life on the firm foundation of prayer.

The foundation for a house provides a solid base for construction to build upon. When completed, the house provides shelter and security for its inhabitants. Spirit within is the foundation for my life and my being. Each moment I spend connecting with God in quiet times of prayer creates another layer of my spiritual character. I express the spirit of God through me and build my house—my spiritual character—with unshakable faith and unlimited joy. Because I have a relationship with God as my foundation, I easily express my true nature of light, life, and love. I build a life of peace and order. As I keep this truth in my heart, I know with certainty that I can do all things.
Everyone then who hears these words of mine and acts on them will be like a wise man who built his house on rock.—Matthew 7:24

Let Go Let God with Equality

We are all children of God.

Physicists tell us that every particle is connected to every other particle in the universe. The same is true for humanity. Nobody is separate or set apart. No one is superior or inferior. We all come from the same Divine Source. The inner light that births us and sustains us also unites us in a spiritual purpose, which is to grow and change and be. The essence of every soul is revealed as our inner spirit in which we are all one. How can we best access this God-oneness, which guides and heals? When we take a moment to focus on the heart, we find our connection to every other soul. In our oneness with God, we find our oneness with every other soul along the path of life.
You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and ... your neighbor as yourself.—Luke 10:27

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

Divine light illumines my mind and guides my way.

In the process of seeking answers in life, I may list pros and cons, research options, or consult with others to increase my knowledge and widen my perspective. Then comes the most important step when I turn it all over to God. Divine guidance comes as insight with a feeling and sense of rightness. It also brings peacefulness and joy in knowing the answer has come. This guidance comes in ways I cannot ignore and that my heart recognizes as true. I rest in peaceful, trusting anticipation, for I know my path reveals itself. I have faith that divine light will steer me always toward my highest good.

I await the light of insight, the signs of answers revealed, and the dawn of understanding that always comes. I am the light of the world.—John 8:12

Let Go Let God in Comfort

I breathe in comfort and I exhale love.

A breathing meditation by Buddhist monk Thich Nhất Hanh shares: Breathing in, I calm body and mind. Breathing out, I smile. Engaging in mindful breathing meditation such as this centers me and provides comfort from any perceived fears. If I feel disconnected or overwhelmed by life experiences, I can turn to this mindful practice. I begin by allowing my mind to release thoughts of the past or future. Each inhale and exhale becomes a focal point moving me from outer to inner experience. Mentally speaking today’s affirmation, I bring my awareness to Spirit. It is here that I find the peace of God within. I breathe in comfort and I exhale love.
Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father ... comfort your hearts and strengthen them in every good work and word.—2 Thessalonians 2:16, 17

Let Go Let God as Family

I hold this truth in mind and heart—we are all brothers and sisters.

The Lord’s Prayer begins with the words “Our Father.” Authors Richard and Mary-Alice Jafolla wrote, “Those two words alone contain just about everything we have to know about ourselves and our relationship to God and to each other. This one small phrase tells us we are all created by and loved by the Creator, which makes the entire human race brothers and sisters in the truest sense of the words.” I hold this truth close in mind and heart: We are one. Whether biological family, close friends, or familiar acquaintances, I welcome all into my heart as my spiritual family. With an open mind and unlimited love, I pray for the peace, health, safety, and goodness of all of my brothers and sisters.

For in Christ Jesus you are all children of God through faith.—Galatians 3:26

Let Go Let God Now Is the Time

Now is the time. This is the place. I am the one.

Life is filled with adventures, moments of beauty, or heartfelt laughter. So why would I allow the busyness of material life to edge out my deeper priorities and values? Every moment is precious. Now is the time for me to forgive, reach out, and express my love. Now is the time to live as prayer in action—in gratitude for the gift of my life. I recommit today to being fully present in the moment—to the content and awareness of God’s presence. I allow Spirit to take charge of my life, aligning my priorities with my values. I trust that I am always in the right place at the right time. I am always in—and acting as—the presence of Spirit. In faith, I affirm: Now is the time. This is the place. I am the one.
You know what time it is, how it is now the moment for you to wake from sleep.—Romans 13:11

Let Go Let God with Faith

The seed of faith within me expresses through every choice I make.

When I consider the totality of life in its many expressions, I may feel overwhelmed. Jesus provided a teaching that encourages us to keep things in perspective: faith the size of a mustard seed. That tiny seed of faith within me consists of two words: God is! There is a power of infinite love and a spiritual dimension that embraces and transcends our limited human understanding. I plant that seed of faith, and I nurture it daily with affirmations and careful, loving choices. Minute by minute, day by day, choice by choice, the infinite life and love of God expresses in every part of my life.
For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, “Move from here to there,” and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.—Matthew 17:20

Let Go Let God in Wholeness

Divine life is my ongoing source of well-being in mind, body, and spirit.

I am a child of God, created in the pattern of wholeness and perfection. Divine life is my ongoing source of well-being in body, mind, and soul. Caring for the entirety of who I am calls for balance, so I nurture all aspects of my being. Maintaining my spiritual practice of prayer and meditation keeps me open to the flow of divine ideas, substance, and guidance. Self-awareness helps me choose the thoughts and behavioral patterns I store. It is from this storehouse that I express myself and influence all my life experiences. I am divinely reminded that my ability to help and care for others is only possible because I first care for myself.
May the God of peace himself sanctify you entirely; and may your spirit and soul and body be kept sound.—1 Thessalonians 5:23

Let Go Let God with Joy

I choose joy.

I may feel sadness, impatience, or even anger because of my life’s circumstances. But I recognize that these emotions are temporary, for my spirit will always naturally seek to express joy. True joy is not about outside circumstances. Rather, it is an inner awareness, developed through consciousness. Inner joy is about my connection with God, with the truth of my being, with nature, and with all life. Undeterred by the opinions of others or even by difficult circumstances, the peace I feel is the result of an inner decision to live my life in joy. Peace fills me, and a sense of purpose directs me. Because of my decision to choose joy in my life, I make a positive difference in the world.
Everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.—Isaiah 35:10

Let Go Let God From The Heart

Whatever I give, I do so from my heart.

I might find myself moved when a child spontaneously gives me a hug. Likewise, I might be especially overjoyed when a beloved pet greets me at the door, or when a loved one surprises me with a gift. We recognize each other on a heart level when we act and speak with open and honest intentions. Reflecting on this, I remember to check my own motives. Am I saying or doing something today just to be polite or because I feel that I should? Is my kindness authentic? Am I expressing compassion to everyone at all times?
Remembering that all I give is given unto me, I choose to give from a pure and open heart.
But the aim of such instruction is love that comes from a pure heart, a good conscience, and sincere faith.—1 Timothy 1:5

Let Go Let God Flow in Prosperity

The infinite goodness of God flows to me and through me.

If left undisturbed, a stream brings a perennial flow of fresh water along its way. Likewise, a free-flowing stream of divine consciousness freshens and revitalizes me. With this awareness, new opportunities are revealed to me. There is no limit to the abundance of God that flows to me and through me, so I do not construct barriers to my good by denying what is possible. It is up to me to keep that free flow of God’s goodness moving. As I keep this truth in mind and heart, I am participating in the free flow of prosperity that blesses me and those I interact with, both near and far. The infinite goodness of God flows to me and through me.
See if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.—Malachi 3:10

Let Go Let God Do or Be Free

I am grateful for the freedom to do or be.

Rev. Eric Butterworth once wrote, “We need to think of freedom in a more creative sense: the freedom to be big enough to deal with life by releasing our own spiritual capacities.” My idea takes on an entirely new aspect when I consider it in terms of being free to do or be something rather than freedom from something. Governed by my Higher Self, I rejoice in the freedom to express my full and glorious potential. I open myself to divine guidance and grace by going deeper within. This inner work permits me to grow in spiritual understanding. Aligned with Spirit, I find my true power within that frees me to be all that I AM. I am grateful for the freedom to do or be.
And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.—John 8:32

Let Go Let God in Unity

I live in harmony with all people around the world.

Each member of our global society is unique in many ways. The world is blessed with people who are different from one another, with unique talents and preferences. Even if we are in disagreement with the opinions of others because their values seem out of alignment with our own, we can make an effort to listen and learn from a different point of view. When we recognize and celebrate our similarities and differences, we begin to live in unity. What we have in common links us together in the web of life. Each one of us also has within us a spiritual nature that expresses as our individuality. Because we are divine creations living human experiences, we can learn to live in harmony.
How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity!—Psalm 133:1

Let Go Let God Give & Receive Spiritual Support

I give and receive light and love.

I am grateful for my spiritual support system—the people and practices that reinforce my spiritual understanding. Prayer is an integral part of that system. I take time each day to quiet my thoughts, speak prayerful words, or simply be. I am part of something greater than myself. Keeping this truth in my heart prepares me for any seeming challenge in life. Knowing that God and I are one gives me strength. I build upon my support system by reaching out to people—forming friendships, joining prayer partners, and attending church services. In this way, I bolster my sense of belonging. I find inspiration to live my purpose. I also become part of the support system of others. I give and receive light and love.
While you have the light, believe in the light, so that you may become children of light.—John 12:36

Let Go Let God as an Earth Blessing

I bless the earth and the earth blesses me.

Everything on earth—from the great to the small—vibrates with the energy of God and expresses the divine creativity from which we are all created. That same divinity exists within and around me at all times. Because of our spiritual connection, I feel a kinship with all living things. I share a sacred synergy with Earth and her inhabitants. When I remain a good steward, nurturing and protecting the environment, it flourishes and provides all that I need to survive. The same God-essence that fills every corner of the cosmos exists within me and touches my heart. With a sense of oneness, I know that, as I bless the earth, the earth blesses me.

Then God said, “Let the earth put forth vegetation: plants yielding seed, and fruit trees of every kind on earth that bear fruit with the seed in it.”—Genesis 1:11
