Let Go Let God Begin Again

I find blessings in every circumstance.

Any difficulty I may experience in life is a beginning point for greater growth. As I continue my life’s journey, I may at times stumble as I encounter some of the lessons found on my way. If I experience a disappointment, I lift myself up by tapping in to my divine resources of faith, strength, love, and understanding. My spiritual nature makes me strong and resilient. If I recognize a mistake, I take ownership, using it as an opportunity to learn and grow, to forge a new pathway. If life seems difficult, I pause and reflect on the blessings sometimes hidden within every circumstance. With renewed faith and courage, I begin again.

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord my whole life long.—Psalm 23:6

Let Go Let God Commit to the Environment

I commit to living in harmony with the earth.

By physical standards, I am separate from other things on this earth—the ground that supports and feeds me, the water I drink, even the air I breathe. When I shift into spiritual awareness, I recognize the oneness of the tapestry of life. Not one thread can be pulled without changing the whole. I contemplate life teeming in the rainforest and the ocean, as well as the icy reaches of the polar caps. The ecological actions I take ripple out to support elements in this living organism we call home. I am grateful for the bountiful home we share, cocreated through the activity of Spirit. Recognizing the oneness of all creation, I commit to being a good steward of the gift of life expressing on this planet.

The earth is the Lord’s and all that is in it, the world, and those who live in it.—Psalm 24:1

Let Go Let God bring Healing

My true nature is that of health and wholeness.

Affirmative thoughts and words of Truth will help bring about a complete healing. I can transform every aspect of my life. I regularly set aside time to speak words of Truth both aloud and quietly in my mind in prayer and meditation. I remind myself that the deepest Truth of my being is health and wholeness. Acknowledging what I know to be true, I affirm: My true nature is that of health and wholeness. Through the practice of affirming this Truth, I am powerfully transforming and blessing every aspect of my life.

If your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.—Matthew 6:22

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

In faith, I pray without ceasing.

In the apostle Paul’s first letter to the Thessalonians, he encouraged them to “Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances.” Prayer is connecting within to the Divine that is the essence of my being and also at the heart of everything else. So when I pray for the ones I love, I give thanks in advance that their needs are being met at the right time and in the right way. I see them as wholly divine creations, regardless of the circumstances they find themselves in at this moment. When I hold someone else in the energy of prayer, I go deeper. I see beyond their human situation and instead behold and embrace the Christ presence within them. I pray without ceasing, allowing for divine order in all situations.

Pray without ceasing.—1 Thessalonians 5:17

Let Go Let God Seize the Moment

I embrace the possibilities for good in this moment.

I ask myself What good thing is ready to happen in my life right now? I begin thinking of problems as possibilities. I recognize my divine nature, and my perspective transforms. I find meaning in every situation, every moment. The statement “Wherever I am, God is” becomes a vibrant reality. Unlimited divine life, love, wisdom, and power are mine to use, not only as I move through major life events but also in the ordinary moments of everyday life. God’s life, love, wisdom, and power express in my decisions and in my actions.

Let us love, not in word or speech, but in truth and action.—1 John 3:18

Let Go Let God Have Faith

My faith is in the light of God.

In areas that experience seasonal weather, landscapes can appear bleak during the winter. Seasons will pass and the long days of summer light will return. The same holds true with my own life. If I notice any darkness, I remember that all things have their source in the light of God. Any seeming darkness comes from the veil of my limited human vision. Faith is the conviction of things not seen. If the outer world seems chaotic, I have faith that there is something greater at work. Although the world I live in is complex, in God there is only oneness. I have faith in the power, presence, and harmonizing love of God. If personal troubles arise, I affirm: This, too, shall pass. There is nothing to fear for my faith is in the light of God.

The one who is righteous will live by faith.—Romans 1:17

Let Go Let God be Free

I am free. I am unlimited.

God’s essence and energy is free and unlimited, and because I am divinely created, I exist without restriction or repression. I begin to understand freedom as a quality of Spirit through conscious communion with God. As I connect with Spirit in prayer and meditation, I begin to experience and know a deep, authentic kind of freedom. If I feel stuck in life’s circumstances, I remember and call upon the freedom through Spirit that surpasses any condition in my outer life. I eliminate any thoughts, feelings, or actions that no longer serve me. I connect with the unlimited essence of Spirit within me and affirm: I am free. I am unlimited.

For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set you free from the law of sin and of death.—Romans 8:2

Let Go Let God Forgive

As I forgive myself, I can forgive others.

The words I say and choices I make can sometimes hurt others, and I may feel regret for something I’ve said or done. Forgiving others is one of the keys to living free. Before I can truly forgive anyone else, however, I must first be willing to forgive myself. At my core, I am divine. On the outside, I am a human being who can make mistakes and fall short of my best. I take time to reflect on what happened and then pause, inhaling a deep, cleansing breath. Moving from human judgment into the space of divine love, I embrace the lesson available to me. This is a moment of discovery—an opportunity to find compassion for myself and others. I make amends, knowing that at the core of forgiveness is mercy, love, and grace.

Blessed are the merciful, for they will receive mercy.—Matthew 5:7

Let Go Let God be Guided

I am continually guided to my greatest good.

How do I know whether I am acting upon divine guidance or merely listening to the busy mind of my human self? I do it through spiritual practice and a willingness to stop the mind chatter. I listen intently and faithfully through meditation and prayer. When I receive a divine idea, there is a sense of rightness to it. I can feel it. It may not always provide the easiest route to go, but I trust that Spirit within is directing me, step by step. Since I know divine guidance is always for my highest and best use, I find the courage to follow through. I may be guided to begin a new venture, to express appreciation to someone, or to forgive a past hurt.

And when you turn to the right or when you turn to the left, your ears shall hear a word behind you, saying, “This is the way; walk in it.”—Isaiah 30:21

Let Go Let God in the Sanctuary

My heart is a sanctuary of divine love.

Love is an amazing power that comforts and heals, uplifts and transforms. Love has the power to heal the world. When I reach within to touch the power of divine love, I tap in to a source that guides my thoughts, words, and actions. As I remain attuned to this power, I am able to love unconditionally. I see the world and the people in it through the eyes of understanding, not condoning error or shortcomings, but instead looking beyond those things to see the divine in others. I recognize each person as a divine being and myself as an emissary of peace in the world. I create an environment of harmony, respect, and reverence as I act from the love in my heart.

And now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; and the greatest of these is love.—1 Corinthians 13:13

Let Go Let God Dream

I dream my dream, holding an image of goodness and peace.

Since Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. shared the words, “I have a dream ...” they have echoed throughout the ages, inspiring generations to believe in peace and equality. I give myself the gift of dreaming, and I dream big! I dream knowing all things are possible when I align with my divine nature and affirm my good. My dream cannot be limited by the ideas of others. It is my dream to explore, expand, and live. I pursue my vision through my thoughts, words, and actions. I dream, using my power of imagination to manifest results. I create, utilizing my power of faith. I hold a vision of good. Whatever I aspire to do, I will accomplish through the power within.

Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, and your young men shall see visions.—Joel 2:28

Let Go Let God through Enrichment

Divine love blesses all that I think, say, and do.

In the Hebrew scriptures, Jacob dreamed of angels—divine thought messengers—ascending and descending a ramp connecting heaven (the divine realm) and earth (human awareness). In his dream, God promised Jacob that the families of the earth would be blessed through him and his descendants. Upon awakening, Jacob exclaimed, “Surely the Lord is in this place—and I did not know it.” When I experience a spiritual awakening, I discover that the divine presence—the indwelling Christ—is within me, even when I do not recognize it. I open my mind and heart to the Christ presence, and my life is enriched in every possible way. Divine love blesses all that I think, say, and do.

Then Jacob woke from his sleep and said, “Surely the Lord is in this place—and I did not know it!”—Genesis 28:16

Let Go Let God Provide Comfort

I am soothed by divine love in my heart.

Receive and know the loving reminder that God is omnipresent as light, love, and strength. At any time I can pause and turn within for this reminder. At the depths of my soul there is a degree of wisdom that goes beyond the conscious—assuring me that I am one with the eternal presence of the Divine. In these sacred moments, I know beyond a shadow of a doubt that I am enfolded in pure love. Relaxing into a sense of well-being allows me to tap in to God’s love. I experience a peace that surpasses all understanding, and I carry that assurance with me wherever I go.

It is the Lord who goes before you. He will be with you; he will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed.—Deuteronomy 31:8

Let Go Let God Explore

I move confidently forward to claim new good.

At any time I can do something new, whether making friends, traveling an unexplored route, sampling new cuisine, and more. Each exploration opens my mind to fresh perspectives and a variety of new ideas. My heart opens to embrace new ways to connect and paths to follow. My natural curiosity and urge to explore is Spirit nudging me to live boldly. I move confidently into new territory, eager to explore any amazing opportunities before me. A journey of discovery can also lead me inward. There I find a wellspring of health, energy, and happiness. I make great leaps in spiritual understanding as I open my soul and let the guiding light of God flow through me.

Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.—Matthew 7:7

Let Go Let God in Joy

There is always space in my heart for joy.

Joy is everywhere present, even during the darkest moments in life. But happiness never forces its way into my heart. To experience its gifts, I have to be willing to choose joy and welcome it. I consider how I might make room in my life for more gladness and aliveness. Perhaps it is time to finally release a certain resentment. I might be ready to gently transition out of a period of deep grief and loss. Maybe I have been berating myself or taking life too seriously. Joy is my natural state. When I choose to make space for it, spontaneity and playfulness emerge. I set aside my to-do list and eagerly compose a gratitude list. As I open myself to joy, I am grateful for how it changes my outlook.

And your hearts will rejoice, and no one will take your joy from you.—John 16:22

Let Go Let God in Wholeness

I am whole, capable, and complete, just as I am.

When I am feeling well-balanced in all ways, I experience my physical body as limber, strong, and able. Emotionally, I perceive an optimism that pervades all I do. I am blessed with mental acuity—I think with clarity and purpose. Yet what I value most is the awareness and acceptance of my spiritual nature. I am not reliant on another person, place, or thing to make me whole. Rather, it is my spiritual awareness that lifts me when I feel tired, despondent, or confused. When I affirm that I am a creation of the Divine, I find the strength and mental sharpness to do whatever I am called to do. I am first and foremost a spiritual being. I am whole, capable, and complete, just as I am.

Then God said, “Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness.”—Genesis 1:26

Let Go Let God through Prayer

I share a divine connection with all creation.

God is everywhere present in all things; therefore, I am always in the presence of God. I cannot be where God is not because all is divine energy. Prayer allows me to acknowledge the Presence within and gives me an opportunity to explore that union. Through prayer, I experience my oneness. I spend time in prayer every day, just as I make time to connect with a close friend or loved one. My faith strengthens each time I acknowledge the Presence. I turn within and silently commune with my Source. I remember that I am never alone. I am always part of something greater, and prayer helps me to remember this truth. I share a divine connection with all creation. We are each a part of God, united by love.

I in them and you in me, that they may become completely one.—John 17:23

Let Go Let God Know Prosperity

I prosper as I align my thoughts and beliefs with the Christ essence in me.

Prosperity is an outer expression of my Christ consciousness. Abundance appears in many forms including health, peace, relationships, and financial stability. Jesus gave thanks as he shared a few loaves and fishes to provide food for the entire crowd. I follow this example and bless all that I have, all I receive, and all that I give. I align my consciousness with the Christ through my thoughts, beliefs, and faith. I refrain from thoughts of lack and separation from Spirit for they block the flow of good in my life. I deny the power of such thoughts and instead refocus on the Truth: I inhabit an abundant universe, and as a child of God, I am blessed. I am in the flow of plentiful good and joyously let it flow in and through me to bless others.

Christ in you, the hope of glory.—Colossians 1:27

Let Go Let God as a Spiritual Family

I align with others in a spirit of support and cooperation.

I am a spiritual being—nothing is missing; nothing is withheld. I allow my Christ nature to make the choices that lead me through any challenges I may face. I also know that creating or developing a world that works for everyone and a new spiritual consciousness is a collective effort. It relies on a sense of cooperation and understanding that allows my nature to align with others who share my sense of divine purpose. We come together for mutual support at every opportunity, uniting to fulfill the purpose of divine wisdom, life, and love. I am grateful for the love I receive from my spiritual family. I align with others in a spirit of support and cooperation.

You are citizens with the saints and also members of the household of God, built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets.—Ephesians 2:19-20

Let Go Let God be Peace

Peace is the foundation of every person and every situation.

When my heart is touched by world events, Spirit within invites me to step into a time of prayer. Rather than focusing on negativity or worry, I accept the invitation to pause and remember the Truth: Peace is the foundation of every person and every situation. These quiet moments affirming Truth allow me to surrender to the wellspring of peace within my own heart. Divine peace is my foundation for living. Steeped in a sense of well-being, I share the energy of love and acceptance with others through my calming words and actions. What is going on in the world around me is nothing compared to the power of peace that dwells within me. Affirming this Truth sustains and inspires me to remain centered and poised in the midst of any and all situations.

Do not let your hearts be troubled.—John 14:1

Let Go Let God Seek Safe Harbor

I am divinely protected.

Like a harbor shelters vessels from a storm, so, too, divine love offers me infinite protection. I seek refuge when I feel scared, hurt, or lonely. Any anxiety I feel dissipates in the warmth and peace of divine love. I connect with the protective energy of Spirit and know that I am eternally safe. Regardless of any circumstances or situations, I remain divinely protected. If my mind becomes chaotic with worry, or if I feel overwhelmed with fear, I redirect my attention to God’s presence within. I imagine steering my consciousness like a boat into the harbor of divine love. As I shift my attention, the sea of thoughts and feelings subsides and calm surrounds and fills me. I am divinely protected.

The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run into it and are safe.—Proverbs 18:10

Let Go Let God with Patience

With faith, I exhibit patience in every situation.

The foundation of patience is faith and the practice of being present in the moment. I remind myself to be patient with myself and with others. I cannot rush the changing seasons, hurry the development of a baby, or rush the hands on a clock. Patience helps support my well-being. Maintaining a calm demeanor allows divine life to flow through me. If I feel impatient, I take deep breaths and remember that only I can adjust how I react in the moment. I affirm things will work out in divine order even if the results do not occur within my preferred time frame. With faith, I exhibit patience in every situation.

With all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.—Ephesians 4:2-3

Let Go Let God Relax

I am relaxed and rejuvenated.

A time of rest each day is essential to my health and well-being. For physical rejuvenation, I remember to practice the simple act of taking deep, conscious breaths throughout the day. With each breath, I envision every cell of my body being filled with love. For mental restoration, I practice mindfulness. When I am fully present to even the smallest task, I give my mind a break from dwelling in the past or future. For spiritual renewal, I practice time in the Silence, allowing Spirit’s peace to fill my heart and replenish my soul. When I make time to care for my whole self—body, mind, and spirit—I feel invigorated and inspired to fully embrace each moment of this precious and amazing life. I am relaxed and rejuvenated.

My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.—Exodus 33:14

Let Go Let God as One Power

I live in an awareness that I am one with the One.

It is freeing to realize that I alone decide what kind of day I am going to have, and through that decision, what kind of life I will experience. I begin by becoming aware, moment by moment, of the thoughts I am entertaining in my mind. Although I may experience random thoughts, I choose which of these thoughts I will continue to feed and nurture, and I focus on the positive ones. My attention is firmly fixed on the one power that is good, the one power that is God. I set my attention on only helpful, harmonious, and loving thoughts and attitudes. There is only one power that I choose to empower in my life—God! Today I affirm: I live in an awareness that I am one with the One.

We were all made to drink of one Spirit.—1 Corinthians 12:13

Let Go Let God Focus

I create a world of unity.

When I focus inward, I send energy into the universe. As Rev. Eric Butterworth wrote in his book, In the Flow of Life, “Life is lived from within-out. This means that the whole universe is concentrated at the point where you are. More than this—you are the universe expressing as you.” Recognizing this, I understand how important it is for me to keep my focus on things that allow me to connect with my divine nature. I take time for me. I live with an attitude of gratitude. I spend time in prayer and meditation, and I become fully involved in my spiritual community. I create a world of unity by focusing on the reality I wish to create.

But strive first for the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.—Matthew 6:33

Let Go Let God as Epiphany

Today I greet new possibilities now born in me.

According to the Gospel of Matthew, Epiphany represents the arrival of the Three Magi in Bethlehem—scholars and priests who traveled from the East, following a star to greet the new Christ energy. They were the first to recognize the newborn child as divine love in expression. Epiphany is a timely reminder to recognize that same Christ presence in myself. My awareness may feel as small and tentative as a baby at first, but with time and attention, it becomes a part of my being. I am continuously connected to Spirit—one with a higher power far greater than my human self. With this in mind, I discover more of my expanded spiritual purpose as I greet new possibilities now born in me.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.—Isaiah 60:1

Let Go Let God Release

I am the love of Spirit expressing in this world.

Release is a natural part of health and growth. Just as my breath and my digestion are continuous cycles of intake and output, my thoughts work in similar ways. If I am resistant to letting go of a belief or habit that may limit my happiness, I pause for a breath. The dynamic activity of Spirit moves through me in a constant state of creation. Divine wisdom reveals any limiting thoughts or beliefs, which I then release from my mind and heart. Letting go of the old creates new space in my mind for a fresh awareness of the power of Spirit moving through me. I confidently affirm: I am wise; I am healthy; I am the love of Spirit expressing in this world.

The wine will burst the skins, and the wine is lost, and so are the skins; but one puts new wine into fresh wineskins.—Mark 2:22

Let Go Let God with Zeal

I come alive through the power of zeal!

Author and philosopher Howard Thurman is credited with saying, “Ask what makes you come alive, and go do it, because what the world needs is people who have come alive.” In whatever situation I find myself, I recall these empowering words. I ask myself, When do I most feel joy? What inspires me with zeal and enthusiasm? The answer may be a variety of interests—travel, meeting new people, learning a new sport or hobby, or more. When I follow my passion and actively do things that make me feel enthusiastic and accomplished, I align with Spirit. With faith, I joyfully affirm: I come alive through the power of zeal!

But let the righteous be joyful; let them exult before God; let them be jubilant with joy.—Psalm 68:3

Let Go Let God All Is In Divine Order

My life is in perfect order and all is well.

There are times when I need a reminder that all is in divine order, particularly if circumstances seem to indicate otherwise. When viewed from a higher perspective, divine order reveals itself in any situation. The affirmation divine order contains the seed thought of healing, prosperity, harmony, guidance, and right outcomes. It is the essence of all that I could ever desire or need. With it, lost items have been found, tangled circumstances have worked out in grace, misunderstandings have resulted in peace. I immerse myself in the life and energy of these two words: divine order. I feel myself becoming absorbed in their healing vibration. As I relax, I find the realization that all is well. My life is in perfect order and all is well.

The crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways made smooth.—Luke 3:5

Let Go Let God with Free Will

I am blessed by the divine gift of free will.

I make choices every day—what to eat, how to spend my day, even what to think. Yet sometimes I neglect the incredible potential that is mine through God’s gift of free will. I may have become complacent, making the same choices day after day. While these choices are comfortable and will likely bring about predictable results, now may be the time to break out of my routine or comfort zone. My options may seem limited by people or circumstances. It is then that I remind myself I am in command of my attitude. I am divinely blessed with free will. I utilize that gift, choosing to take charge of my life; to express the creativity, vitality, and wholeness that truly define me.

You will decide on a matter, and it will be established for you, and light will shine on your ways.—Job 22:28

Let Go Let God Understand

I give thanks for divine wisdom and understanding.

Today is the dawn of a new year in which my spiritual development and understanding will continue to grow. I ask for understanding to be revealed, listening for and discerning divine revelations. My trust in this spiritual practice requires attentiveness and faith that answers will come in the right time and in the right way. These insights may come quickly or appear over time, in subtle and not-so-subtle ways. What is mine to do is to trust that the activity of the Christ spirit within me is always actively at work. I have faith that the Divine in me is constantly seeking expression through me. I give thanks that divine wisdom and understanding are being revealed.

Think over what I say, for the Lord will give you understanding in all things.—2 Timothy 2:7
