Let Go Let God be Unique

I am a unique creation of God.

Authors Richard and Mary-Alice Jafolla wrote in The Quest, “Each of us is a congregation of inert elements of the physical universe ... But we are unique, vital clusters of those elements, able to walk and talk and dance and sing and think and love and contemplate our place in the universe.” I am vital in God’s plan for I bring my own unique perspectives, talents, and contributions to my space in the universe. The same holds true for everyone else as well. When I meet new people, I honor our spiritual kinship by recognizing their distinctive traits, interests, and abilities. The Christ in me greets the Christ in them as unique creations of a higher power.

It has the glory of God and a radiance like a very rare jewel, like jasper, clear as crystal.—Revelation 21:11

Let Go Let God We Are One

I feel a sense of oneness when I listen to the harmony of life.

We live in a world rich with diversity, yet it may be easy to forget that we are one—united by a divine common denominator. All things and people can work together in divine synchronization. Nature reflects this harmony. When I find myself in the great outdoors, I take a moment to listen to the cacophony of sounds. Various birdcalls mingle with the sound of the wind in the trees, the chirp of insects, the gurgling of water trickling to create a wondrous symphony. A beautiful harmony of human expression can be made too. I am listening and adding my own unique expression to the symphony of all life. We are one, and diversity makes this knowing even sweeter.
As you, Father, are in me and I am in you, may they also be in us, so that the world may believe that you have sent me.—John 17:21

Let Go Let God be Sheltered

I am sheltered by God’s love.

Conditions in my world change every day. The stock market goes up and down; the weather shines and storms; even my truest friends may argue and then make up. Conditions in my body change with age and sometimes illness or injury. I let go of any fear about changes or loss. If I experience fear or feelings of vulnerability, I remind myself who I really am: the divine child of an infinitely loving Creator. This love assures me things of the Spirit, including love, peace of mind, and life, will never be lost. I remain secure in the unchanging, everlasting love of my Creator. This love protects my peace of mind, my eternal life, and the endless love I continue to be.
And you will have confidence, because there is hope; you will be protected and take your rest in safety.—Job 11:18

Let Go Let God with Faith

I live in steadfast faith knowing that my needs will be met.

Today begins the Advent season, a time when I am reminded of the unlimited capacity to experience the presence of God within. With faith, I hold the keys to the kingdom that opens all doors to a full and joy-filled life. Even though I have faith, I may need to call upon patience or strength as I wait for a door to open. I may need to apply wisdom and understanding while making an important decision. Perhaps I will be guided to demonstrate unconditional love or conscious generosity. My answers come to me naturally and easily. Any assistance needed becomes available; any divine idea comes my way with clarity. As I move through the Advent season, I do so with excitement, with love, and with great faith.

Keep alert, stand firm in your faith, be courageous, be strong.—1 Corinthians 16:13

Let Go Let God Forgive

As I forgive, I find peace.

Holding on to resentment ties me to the pain of the past. Clinging to regrets also blocks the expression of my true nature, which is peace and joy. When I recognize a lack of forgiveness on my part, I remind myself to become still and surrender. The loving light of God purifies my heart and mind. Aligned with divine principle, deep spiritual healing begins to unfold. Anger and hurt begin to dissolve and a sense of peace washes over me. My heart opens to fully express peace and love to others. When I stay spiritually centered, I forever dwell in a state of harmony with God. A future filled with possibility opens up and I affirm: As I forgive, I find peace.

And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, as God in Christ has forgiven you.—Ephesians 4:32

Let Go, Let God

I let go and open my heart to the healing goodness of God.

When I let go and let God, I make a fresh start. To do this, I release any anxiety. If I am feeling low, my attitude reflects and attracts that negativity. So I let go. I trust in God. I forgive anything that may be preventing me from experiencing this new life of joy and contentment. The more willing I am to let go, the greater capacity I have for love. I dedicate this day as a blessed opportunity to let God’s love flow through my being, preparing me to receive abundant blessings in my life. I also release any fears that I may be holding, allowing the love of God to wash away all cares or concerns. I see these burdens lifted, making more room for new opportunities to experience a more peaceful, joyous life. My heart is full of gratitude as I fully rely on God.
Beloved, we are God’s children now.—1 John 3:2

Let Go Let God in Thanksgiving

I am grateful.

In the United States, today is a time to honor grateful living. Gratitude is more than just a one-day event—it’s a lifelong attitude. I consider everything for which I’m thankful, and then I go deeper. I bring to mind people, situations, experiences that I’m not joyful about. I make a mental shift, reevaluating them through the lens of an all-loving God. Is there someone I hold a grudge against? I give thanks for any turbulent relationships for they helped me on my spiritual journey and realizing my self-worth. Those times when I faced financial difficulties gave me a greater appreciation for the simpler things in life. I give thanks for all that I am and will be. With thanksgiving in my heart, gratitude becomes embedded into my consciousness.
Sing praises to the Lord, O you his faithful ones, and give thanks to his holy name.—Psalm 30:4

Let Go Let God as a Home Blessing

My home is an oasis of peace and love.

The foundation of a home provides greater stability than brick and mortar. When those within a home live from the realization that the spirit of God is at the core of each person, a home becomes an oasis of peace and love. I bless my home with such an understanding as I affirm the presence of God. The very atmosphere within my home surrounds all who enter with love and respect. Indifference or discord is unwelcome and dissipates with acceptance and attention. No matter the ages or personal connections with those present, there is a oneness of spirit and love that is prevalent during every conversation, meal, and activity.
He entered a certain village, where a woman named Martha welcomed him into her home.—Luke 10:38

Let Go Let God with Joy

Joy is an integral part of who I am.

Within me is the unborn possibility of joy that saturates every aspect of my life in varying forms when I allow it. There is quiet joy that keeps me calm and centered. It is an ever-present source of peace and goodwill, spreading out to touch those around me. Exuberance is joy that cannot be contained and bursts forth in laughter, song, or the urge to dance. It is pure energy, a direct result of the power within that cannot be uprooted. Perennial joy surfaces in times of difficulty. It is a gentle reminder that, no matter what is going on in the world around me, I always have hope and a reason to go on. In whichever form it emerges, joy is an integral part of who I am.
The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped, and my heart exults, and with my song I give thanks to him.—Psalm 28:7

Let Go Let God Breath Inner Peace

Peace is my breath, and serenity is the beat of my heart.

There is a basic rhythm in my body that resonates from a divine awareness that pulsates through all living beings. This pattern is found in the measure of my breath and in the cadence of my heartbeat. By quieting my mind and focusing on the natural pulse of my body, I create vital breathing space, both literally and figuratively. When I practice, gently focusing on inhaling and exhaling, my body and mind instinctively relax. My pulse slows and steadies. By noticing my body’s rhythms, I relax into a state of deep peace. Throughout my entire being, I feel a sense of harmony, belonging, and comfort. As I continue to breathe, I am aware that Almighty Spirit is breathing through me and as me.
But truly it is the spirit in a mortal, the breath of the Almighty, that makes for understanding.—Job 32:8

Let Go Let God in this Moment

Each moment is filled with unlimited possibilities.

My mind and heart are firmly present in the now rather than past hurts or future worries. One way for me to release the past is to honor it for what it has given me. I have been blessed with many opportunities for growth, whether I currently judge them as pleasant or unpleasant. Each one has given me a chance to stretch the wings of my soul and try out new spiritual gifts. With God, I dare to follow my dreams. Divine power makes all things new, bringing about the best and highest for me and for all whom I love. I feel my awareness of God’s presence expanding within me, nourishing my soul, and awakening my realization that life is filled with unlimited possibilities.
This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.—Psalm 118:24

Let Go Let God See Prosperity

With a grateful heart, I open to divine supply.

Prosperity is a state of mind, a focus on being happy, successful, and self-sufficient. When I focus my thoughts on those qualities, I begin to see more goodness in my life. Staying focused may not prove easy if I am facing large debts or unable to afford the necessities. Such things may keep me from seeing the good around me. But when I choose to change my focus, my vision clears and I can once again see the blessings that have always been in my life. My attitude shifts from fear to gratitude. Today I remove the blinders from my eyes and change my focus on God’s good. With a grateful heart, I open to divine supply, and I feel abundantly blessed.
Now therefore take your stand and see this great thing that the Lord will do before your eyes.—1 Samuel 12:16

Let Go Let God Be Refreshed

Spirit within refreshes and strengthens me.

Water is nature’s refreshment, providing nourishment for all life on the planet. Parched animals, plants, and ground hurriedly drink when it rains, finding renewed energy and strength. On hot days, animals seek refuge in pools of water. Oceans, rivers, and waterfalls refresh the human spirit as they inspire those who visit them. The greatest source of refreshment for my soul is my connection with God. I release doubts or habits that limit my thinking and open my mind and heart to receive divine guidance. Meditation invigorates my spirit with renewed energy and strength. Devoting time and energy to a relationship with God, I see inspiration in the world around me.
The water that I will give will become ... a spring of water gushing up to eternal life.—John 4:14

Let Go Let God In Healing

Mighty currents of God’s healing love flow through me now.

If a loved one or I face a health challenge, God’s healing love is the answer. Despite what appearances may suggest, the miraculous power of faith is already at work. If God directs me through prayer to see a doctor, I do. God loves me and has a plan for me that includes a healthy and happy life. So rather than focusing on what may be wrong with my mind or body, I concentrate instead on God’s life within. Mighty currents of God’s healing love flow through me now. I am surrounded by God’s love and enfolded in God’s embrace. In mind, body, and spirit, I am whole and well. God’s healing life flows in and through every cell and organ of my body, making me strong and capable and sure.
For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.—Proverbs 4:22

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I bless you, knowing that the power of divine love is at work in your life.

What can I do when a situation or behavior of another concerns me? The best thing I can do is pray. When I pray for a loved one, friend, or even someone I know about from the news or social media, I give the gift of love. Whether I personally know someone or not, I know that we are connected for the love of God is the essence of our being. As I pray for someone, I feel our divine connection as I affirm the goodness of God. I open my mind and heart to divine love. I let this love flow from me and affirm that the highest blessing is unfolding. We are all one in Spirit—one in love. I give thanks to God for the power of love at work in every life.
Let all that you do be done in love.—1 Corinthians 16:14

Let Go Let God Trust in Divine Order

I trust in the process of life.

In nature, all things have a purpose. I may not enjoy thunderstorms or damp, chilly days, but I appreciate why they are important and necessary. I trust in the process of life. In areas with seasonal weather, the earth transforms annually from a landscape lush with life to a scene that appears barren. Yet I know that the deterioration and decay of fall and winter lead to the birth of new life. Contrary to surface appearances, divine order is actively at work. I trust in the process of life. All things have a purpose. Divine order exists in all things, even when I cannot understand. I may see things in my life that look barren and dead, but I can trust that beneath the stillness lies the promise of new life.

You have made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows its time for setting.—Psalm 104:19

Let Go Let God Allow Guidance

My inner wisdom guides me on my path to good.

God is the source of all that is good, all that is true, all that is right in my life. So I give thanks daily for the inspiration and guidance that lead me step by step to my highest good. I am surrounded in a warm glow of divine light and love, and my faith in God is strong and sure. My faith opens my mind to new wisdom and new ideas, leading to a greater understanding of myself and others. Inner wisdom leads to new perceptions, and I begin to see a greater picture of my life. With determination and purpose, I strive to get out of my own way and allow divine wisdom to guide me on my path to good.
Wisdom and knowledge are granted to you. I will also give you riches, possessions, and honor, such as none of the kings had who were before you, and none after you shall have the like.—2 Chronicles 1:12

Let Go Let God Receive Comfort

I turn to my Divine Source to receive comfort.

In the wake of loss, I find comfort in the all-encompassing love of Spirit. This love may come in the form of a friend, family member, loving pet, or even a compassionate stranger. God moves through each of us as an expression of empathy and connection with each other. When I am feeling sad, comfort can be found in a warm hug, a listening ear, or simply the presence of another. I do not hesitate to ask my Source for the comfort I seek. I now open my heart to receive the gift of Spirit’s love through the countless, willing beings all around me. Thank You, God, for sending Your comforters just when I need them. I receive and rejoice with a light and grateful heart.
You will increase my honor, and comfort me once again.—Psalm 71:21

Let Go Let God Promote World Peace

I behold the Christ in all people and envision peace throughout the world.

World peace begins with me when I behold the Christ in all people, not just a select few. I begin by recognizing and honoring that there are many paths to God. The Christ within is common to each and all, even if by a different name. The Christ within is my spiritual essence, my connection with Spirit. Through awareness of this spiritual truth, all things are possible. I use my imagination and my faith to envision peace and to see peace being demonstrated in and between all countries, all people. I do my part to promote peace. Within my relationships I speak words that promote calmness and acceptance of others. I exhibit patience. I extend kindness to strangers. I forgive easily, and I am at peace.

Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.—Romans 14:19

Let Go Let God as Freedom

I am free to embrace life with optimism.

Today I ask myself: Do I take my freedom for granted? I am free to enjoy and experience life in a whole new way. Through the power and presence of the Divine within, I am free to realize my highest potential and I try to never take that for granted. I open my mind and heart to the freeing, healing, loving Christ Spirit abiding in me. Divine love washes over me, carrying away that which no longer supports my highest good. Old beliefs, hurts, grudges, and obsolete patterns fall away. I open my eyes to a brighter view of life and the opportunity to see the best in myself and in others. I am free to embrace life with optimism. I am free with the freedom of Spirit.

The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.—Luke 4:18

Let Go Let God in Fullness of Grace

Thank You, God, for Your grace in my life.

How do I define the grace of God? Grace is a gift from God that ensures my well-being. I hear that gift in the infectious laughter of children. I see it in the beauty of the mountains, trees, and ocean. I experience it in the synchronicity of a day filled with unexpected blessings. I feel it in the touch of a loved one’s hand when I am in need. Through the grace of God, I am safe and secure. With God’s grace, I am blessed with ideas and insights. I become more attuned to God’s grace when I have a grateful heart. By saying “Thank You, God,” I open my heart to receive more grace—more wisdom, more energy, more of an awareness of who I am as a spiritual being.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.—Ephesians 2:8

Let Go Let God Breathe

I breathe in the breath of God and enter a place of peace and serenity.

Deep, regulated breathing provides both physical and mental exercise. Breathing is an involuntary function of my body. Yet when I focus on my breath and control it, I enter a different realm of solitude and peace—a deeper mind, body, and spirit connection. I begin by consciously slowing my breathing, allowing each exhale to get longer, and each inhale to go deeper. My heart rate and blood pressure lower, my muscles relax. I exist only in this present moment, a place of peace. In this relaxed, receptive state of mind I connect with Spirit within. As I return to the present moment, I bring with me the peace and serenity of the simple act of breathing. I am ready for the rest of my day.
The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty gives me life.—Job 33:4

Let Go Let God Answer the Call

I answer the call of Spirit and embark upon a divinely directed path.

There are moments when I may feel drawn to take a stand for a particular cause or advocate for a person in need. The more I become involved in this type of support, the more I feel called to influence positive change in the world. Being called to help others is something I feel passionate about and guided to do. I can be sure that the spirit of God is gently leading me in ways that help me do this. As I turn within for divine guidance, I receive new insight about ways I may be able to network, companies I can contact for support, and people I can meet who will help me move forward in my cause. I am being divinely guided to establish positive change in my life.
Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known.—Jeremiah 33:3

Let Go Let God Moving Forward

I seek to learn and grow in spiritual understanding.

Life constantly moves me forward in my journey of spiritual growth and practice. Periodically I yearn for something more. Perhaps an inner whisper urges me to explore at greater depth or a life-changing event thrusts me into a new chapter of life. Life is a series of endings, new beginnings, and ongoing transformation. I am more than my physical self, more than my job, or my various roles in life. While these aspects of myself are meaningful and fulfilling, woven throughout each of them is my ongoing quest to grow in spiritual understanding. I include time each day for personal reflection, prayer, and meditation because they propel me forward in my desire to know and express more of my divine nature.
From this time forward I make you hear new things, hidden things that you have not known.—Isaiah 48:6

Let Go Let God As Mentors

Mentoring enriches my spiritual journey.

I am grateful for the coaches, teachers, and counselors who have mentored me on my spiritual path. By building a relationship of trust, modeling spiritual Truth, and sharing openheartedly from their own successes and struggles, these people have been instrumental in raising my consciousness. Mentorship enriches the mentor as well. Helping others helps me to clarify and reinforce my own spiritual lessons and beliefs. It also encourages me to be mindful that others are watching and listening to what I say and do. Spiritual mentorship is a precious gift that I can give to myself—whether I am called to serve as a mentor or a mentee. When I am able and willing to serve in both roles, I find myself doubly blessed on my spiritual path.

Let the wise also hear and gain in learning.—Proverbs 1:5

Let Go Let God Believe

As I believe, so I receive!

Spiritual Truth exists whether or not I believe in it; divine love is present whether or not I trust in it; Universal Intelligence is available whether or not I rely on it. While I am grateful that Spirit is eternal and changeless, I recognize that my capacity to fully receive Spirit’s bounty hinges on my faith. If, on reflection, I find that challenging times have clouded my belief in Spirit, I simply correct my thinking. I renew my belief in the eternal reality of spiritual abundance. I accept that God’s bounty and grace are meant for all—including me. I regain trust in my ability to freely give and receive. I align myself with Divine Mind, and Truth flows readily into my awareness, clearing the way for greater good.

I have come as light into the world, so that everyone who believes in me should not remain in the darkness.—John 12:46

Let Go Let God Hear Divine Messages

In the Silence, I listen. In the stillness, God answers.

Our days are filled with messages received from friends, work, or media outlets. While it may seem difficult to discern which, if any, of these are divine messages, I learn to listen with my heart and mind open to God. “You are loved,” is the melody sung by songbirds. “You can do it!” is whispered in my ear as I tackle a challenge. Other times a divine idea persistently speaks to me, nudging me into action—“Try this.” “I am with you always” is what I hear as I move into prayer. There is no end to the ways God brings guidance and encouragement to me. When I hear words that uplift and inspire me, I know these are divine messages meant just for me.
When he spoke to me, I was strengthened and said, “Let my lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”—Daniel 10:19

Let Go Let God in Abundance

Abundant living is my birthright. I claim my good now!

One definition of abundance is “living with a degree of plentifulness.” So how does this apply to me? As a child of God, abundant living is my birthright. I accept my inheritance when I turn to divine ideas and use them as the building blocks of my life. I choose thoughts that represent prosperity and plenty. God intends for me to live fully and I allow God’s nature to express through me in all that I say and do. I know the power of my thoughts and prayers. I set aside time to give thanks for the many blessings in my life. God created me to live a beautiful, abundant life. Truly, my life is a living prayer of appreciation. Abundant living is my birthright. I claim my good now!

Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.—James 1:17

Let Go Let God with Patience

I am one with the Source of all.

I know God as the Source of all understanding, love, patience, and kindness. I am part of this powerful Source. To achieve poise and serenity in my life, I have only to turn within to the silence of my soul. If I am waiting in a line of shoppers, stuck in traffic, or just tired after a long day, I may find my patience waning. I take time, wherever I am, to reconnect with my Source. A moment of focus calms my mind and revives my spirit. With my patience restored and my mind at ease, I better relate to and understand those around me. I remind myself that my Source is unlimited and eternal and that all else is just temporary. I am one with the Source of all.

May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.—Romans 15:5

Let Go Let God Discover Potential

I am ready and willing to discover and fulfill my divine potential.

When I open my eyes in the morning the dark veil of night has lifted to reveal a brand-new day, bringing with it unlimited possibilities. I live in a world of unlimited potential. While every attempt I make to fulfill that potential may not be successful, I write it up to experience, and then strive on. I fully believe and achieve what is mine to do by following and listening to divine wisdom. Spirit provides me with direction on which path to travel toward fulfilling my divine destiny. I am a child of God, filled with capabilities that exceed any that I could ever imagine for myself. I am ready and willing to discover and fulfill my divine potential.

By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.—Galatians 5:22-23
