Let Go Let God Give Glory

I Give Glory To God In All I Do.

When I dedicate myself to doing my best, I am honoring my divine nature. Whatever I do today, in my work, school, or relationships, I give the glory to God. As I do, my thoughts, words, and actions bring value to my life and to the world. No matter what I am doing, I do so with intention and purpose. I give my all with the satisfaction that I am contributing to the good of something greater than myself. Knowing that everything I do has value, I go about it with humility and gratitude for the opportunity to serve. I live each day dedicating myself to my higher power. I honor the sacred value of all people and treat them with respect. I see the glory of God in each person.

In the same way, let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father in heaven.—Matthew 5:16

Let Go Let God Grow

With God, I Am Ready To Grow.

Feeling bored or stuck in place is a sure sign it’s time to try new things, stretch myself into new experiences, and grow. Sometimes I might believe that life just isn’t that interesting or that my adventures and fun experiences are behind me. But life is what I make of it, and the more of myself I invest, the more interesting my life becomes. I am ready to grow. I listen to the call of my heart and follow the promptings of Spirit about where to go and what to try. Feelings of hesitation fade when I heed my guidance, the whisper of the Christ within. Life is for living, loving, and exploring. With Spirit, I am ready. Wherever I go and however I grow, I go and grow with God.

But speaking the truth in love, we must grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ.—Ephesians 4:15

Let Go Let God Behold Joy

Joy Lifts Me.

I feel the light of joy shimmering throughout my body and mind. The fruit of Spirit is joy, and I share it freely with everyone I meet. Joy feels like a magical power. Even in the tough moments, when the world seems bleak, I can go within myself and bask in God’s love and feel the joy that is always a part of me. Nothing and no one can take it from me. When facing adversity, I call forth the power of joy to help me lighten up. When I want to express how I feel, I may listen to uplifting songs, dance freely, or laugh with a dear one. Watching a sunset, looking at a baby’s sweet face, or marveling at a budding flower reminds me to open my heart to my feelings and express my joy. Every day, I behold the miracle of life with a joyful heart.

God keeps them occupied with the joy of their hearts.—Ecclesiastes 5:20

Let Go Let God In Comfort

The Comforting Presence Of God Is With Me Always.

Even though I am always in the presence of God, sometimes the stress of challenging circumstances causes me to doubt this powerful truth. I may forget, in a difficult moment, that God is never further away than my next thought. Even in life’s darkest moments, the light of divine strength, love, and wisdom glows in my mind and heart. Taking dominion of my thoughts, I release fear and worry. My spiritual strength overcomes my human weakness, the warmth of God’s love replaces feelings of hurt and loneliness, the clarity of divine wisdom shows me the way forward. I cherish the support of those I love and who love me. But even in moments of solitude, I am comforted knowing I am never without God.

Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I fear no evil; for you are with me; your rod and your staff—they comfort me.—Psalm 23:4

Let Go Let God In World Peace

I Join With Others To Build A Peaceful World.

The world’s problems can feel so overwhelming and its needs so great that I may wonder how my individual efforts could make much of a difference. But every action I take can contribute to world peace. I remember there are people throughout the world who feel the way I do. So many are doing what they can to bring light and love to their neighborhoods and communities. I feel comforted realizing I am not alone in my efforts. Peace begins with each person and inspires others as it spreads, uniting all the world’s people to live and thrive in harmony and cooperation. We are meant to live in peace. I hold that vision and offer compassionate service as a way to make my dream for world peace a reality for all of us.

Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.—Romans 14:19

Let Go Let God With Acceptance

Acceptance Brings Me Peace.

With an open and willing heart, I accept the things I cannot change. I release the need for control, and the heaviness of judgment sinks like a stone thrown into the ocean. Free from the weight of negativity, I welcome people and situations as they are, not as I think they should be. When I am unhappy with something, I first discern whether I can change it. Most often, the only thing I have the power to transform is myself. I let go of negative thinking, denying that people or events have power over me. Acceptance means affirming the highest outcome for myself and others. I take responsibility for what is mine to do, and then I release the result by letting go and letting God.

For God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline.—2 Timothy 1:7

Let Go Let God Discover Beauty

Beauty Is Within And All Around Me.

Beauty surrounds me. From the magnificence of a rainbow and the glory of sunrises and sunsets to the small wonders found in a backyard garden teeming with life, I am grateful for beauty I find everywhere. I discover even more beauty when I really look. I find wonderful people performing amazing acts of love and compassion. Regardless of outward appearances, their true beauty comes from the divine light shining within them. I, too, create and share beauty through the power of my divine nature. This is how I bring God’s love and joy into the lives of others. Every impulse I have toward service and kindness makes the world a more beautiful place.

One thing I asked of the Lord, that will I seek after: to live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.—Psalm 27:4

Let Go Let God With Anticipation

Strong In Faith, I Believe The Best Is Yet To Come.

Time spent waiting can be wretched or wonderful. Which one it is depends on my outlook and the expectation I hold as I visualize what is to come. Counting down to a celebration may boost my mood. Visualizing another’s happiness fosters my own. If the countdown is one of concern, staying centered may be more of a challenge. Either way, I meet the moment with affirmative prayer and a focus on God. No matter the circumstance, I release my attachment to specific outcomes as I declare the highest outcome is unfolding. I affirm: The power and presence of God is in this and every circumstance, and the best and highest outcomes are assured, for me and for all. I know there is good to come, and I welcome itAmen.

Rejoice in hope, be patient in suffering, persevere in prayer.—Romans 12:12

Let Go Let God Forgive

Forgiving Frees Me To Move Forward.

Memories of hurtful experiences and painful conversations can repeat in my mind like old movies on a perpetual loop. The best way to free myself of these memories is forgiveness. Forgiving another—and even myself—is a wonderfully freeing and healing practice. It doesn’t mean I need to welcome unhealthy relationships or situations back into my life, but it does mean I refuse to be bound to the past. The nature of life is forward motion, growth, and evolution. Staying stuck in resentment while life is happening around me only compounds my unhappiness. Forgiving is key to my growth. As I forgive, I feel alive, cleansed, and ready to move forward.

Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone; so that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.—Mark 11:25

Let Go Let God Envision

I Envision My Future As I Live My Dreams.

As I follow the promptings of my heart, I may be surprised at the direction I find myself moving. Yet I answer the call and trust it. My destination becomes increasingly clear with each step I take in the direction of my dream. There are no limits to what I can envision and work toward. In faith and with trust, I step into a brilliant future, even greater than I imagined.

According to your own heart, you have wrought all this greatness.—2 Samuel 7:21

Let Go, Let God

I Let God Be God In Me And Through Me.

The frustration I feel when a challenge seems insurmountable is an invitation to let go and let God. When I reach the limit of my human wisdom, understanding, love, and strength, I discover limitless love, wisdom, strength, and understanding as parts of my spiritual identity. When I say I let go and let God, I do not become passive. Rather, I release human willfulness and all thoughts of human limitation. I willingly embrace all the divine qualities that seek expression in my life. I let go and let God be God in me and through me. Divine wisdom, love, and understanding guide my decisions and actions. With spiritual strength, I am able to accomplish all that is mine to do.

But Jesus answered them, “My Father is still working, and I also am working.”—John 5:17

Let Go Let God With Understanding

With Understanding, My Spirit Is Always Cool.

One of the best ways to remain calm in any agitating circumstance is to practice understanding. Seeking to understand gives me information and insight and eases my reactivity. It keeps my emotional thermostat dialed down if I am tempted to lose my cool. Perhaps poet Rudyard Kipling was referring to understanding in his poem “If” when he wrote of the importance of “keep[ing] your head when all about you are losing theirs and blaming it on you.” Properly mastered, my power of understanding gives me the strength and presence of mind to be a beacon in times of trouble or crisis. Whatever this day may bring, I will carry the light of understanding with me. I am cool in spirit. I am understanding.

One who is cool in spirit has understanding.—Proverbs 17:27

Let Go Let God Be In The Presence

I Am In The Presence Of God.

No matter where I am or where I go, I am in the presence of God. It’s a blessing to realize I can never be outside this presence. All things-whether seeming good or bad-are happening inside God, the one presence and power in the universe. There is not one thing in life I need face alone. The presence of God is also in me. It may be easy to feel divine presence most keenly in times of mindful contemplation or prayerful practice, but I can also feel it each time I consciously live from my divine identity. I am being the presence of Spirit each time I show grace to another, with each loving act of kindness and consideration, when I offer forgiveness, or share generously of my supply. God is good, all the time. I pray that, through me, all others know this truth.

Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his presence continually.—1 Chronicles 16:11

Let Go Let God Pray For Others

Let Prayer Go Forth To Everyone.

I love to pray with those I care about, to hold their dreams and concerns in my heart and affirm the Divine is active in their lives. But I may feel challenged when called to pray with someone who has treated me or others poorly. I remember that all people are worthy of prayer and everyone falls within the divine embrace. Before I pray, I release any judgment, understanding there is no unforgiveness in God. Free from any negative feelings, the wisdom of the Divine flows freely from me. My prayers are healing. I speak words of truth and hold them in my heart. My words are uplifting and my presence serene. I release all concerns in prayer, affirming divine blessings for those for whom I pray just as I am also blessed.

But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.—Matthew 5:44

Let Go Let God Live In Inner Peace

I Live, Move, And Breathe In Inner Peace.

Peace is the watchword of my heart. Even in times of conflict or chaos, I can remain calm because I choose peacefulness. Through quiet times of prayer, I release tension or worry. With each beat of my heart, I affirm peace is flowing through me. I let tranquility flow through me to bless the people and situations in my life. Rather than letting outside factors control how I feel, I trust my intuition and guidance and respond with wisdom and grace. My serene attitude lends calmness to any situation, helping me cope with uncertainty and contributing harmony to all. Peace is a choice I make again and again. No circumstance or thing has the power to take it away. I live with grace and gratitude from the depths of my heart.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.—Matthew 5:9

Let Go Let God Be Protected

I Am Safe And Secure In The Peace And Love Of God.

“Wherever I am, God is.” These words from the “Prayer for Protection” comfort me. There is power in speaking these words aloud or holding them in my heart because I am affirming that I am never outside the presence of God. God is in me as love and wisdom. I am in God, much like a wave in the ocean; we are one and can never be separated. With this truth in mind, I feel safe wherever I go, whatever I do. As I go about my daily living or approach a new opportunity, I am secure in the understanding I am not alone. I am serene, poised, and alert. I breathe a prayer of thanks, knowing my steps are steady and I am safe at all times.

Know that I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.—Genesis 28:15

Let Go Let God Claim Healing

I Am Grateful For My Healing Journey.

I am whole in Spirit. As I relax into this awareness, I feel the healing stream of spiritual power restoring the cells of my body and bringing peace to my mind and heart. I feel the presence of God as I realize my wholeness. With a prayer of gratitude, I welcome my healing. My body responds as I bless my organs and tissues. My thoughts are uplifted and enlivened by the vibrant, healing energy of divine life. Deep feelings of well-being and peace envelop me. I visualize healing light within my body’s every cell and imagine the dynamic, restorative power of God. I make changes to support my wellness so that I can better realize my wholeness. In this moment, I claim my healing.

Jesus turned, and seeing her he said, “Take heart, daughter; your faith has made you well.” And instantly the woman was made well.—Matthew 9:22

Let Go Let God Smile

My Smile Is God's Love Expressing Through Me.

A smile communicates in ways that words cannot. Long before they begin to speak, babies respond to smiles. People from all cultures recognize the meaning of a smile. When language differences make communication between two strangers challenging, a smile can put both at ease. My smile may be my spontaneous response to a humorous situation or happy surprise, or it may tell everyone who sees it that all is well with me. My smile may be my heart’s response to someone who needs encouragement when there are no words to express what I am feeling. Although each smile is as unique as the person who offers it, its message is universal: Even if we speak different languages or come from different cultures, we are one in God.

The Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you.—Numbers 6:25

Let Go Let God Know Excitement

I Am An Active Participant In This Exciting Life.

Each new day, the sun rises on a world full of wonders. From the magnificence of the natural world to the many fascinating things there are to learn and the many displays of creativity that surround me, I can find so much to capture my interest and kindle my excitement. When I shrink from life, when my interest in exploration wanes, I can lose my zeal and passion. My involvement is the key. To regain my excitement, I become an active participant in life. I break out of comfortable habits and routines. I try new things and meet new people. If this is intimidating, I remind myself God is everywhere and in everyone. As I explore, I am opening myself to more and more of the Divine. As my interest grows, a bigger world awaits me.

Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!—Psalm 150:6

Let Go Let God Receive Grace

Grace Flows To Me, Through Me, And From  Me.

Grace is such a remarkable gift, a wonderful way to feel God in action. So many times I have received the blessing of divine grace when I couldn’t imagine how a problem would resolve or how a bad situation would improve. Grace is the inspiration I feel to pay forward the spontaneous kindnesses that have come my way, often from unexpected or surprising sources. It is the action of the stranger who pays my way or lightens my load, prompting similar actions from me to others. Grace is the nudge from Spirit telling me to let small irritations go, extend patience in the face of frustration, and give and serve cheerfully without expectation of anything in return. Grace only increases the more it is shared.

From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.—John 1:16

Let Go Let God Be Ready

I Am  Ready To Be Of Joyful Service.

It might be easy to say I will do what I can to express the divine spirit within but harder to know where to start. This is where having some ideas in mind can help to get me going. These ideas are simple steps I can take that will brighten the world by shining the Christ light from within me. I can show kindness by stopping to help someone struggling with a task, perhaps carrying their groceries home. I can offer spiritual support, praying with someone and seeing them healed and prospered. Little acts of love can have big consequences. The more ready I am to express my highest self, the more habitual it becomes. Ever ready to serve, I think of more and more ways to help, to love, and to care.

They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.—1 Timothy 6:18

Let Go Let God Relax

 I Relax And Find Ease.

A stream flows before me reflecting the expanse of the sky. Rays of sunlight glisten on the surface like diamonds with each gentle movement of the water. With little effort, the water flows, free of resistance. I match my breathing to the rhythm of the spring, taking my cue to loosen and become more fluid. Just as sediment and sand settle to the bottom of the stream, I feel my body similarly relaxing. All anxiety and restlessness begin to fall away. Free of tension, I become open, unwinding from the pressure I had been carrying. When stress and worry tell me to push through, I remember the water’s wisdom. I move with increasing ease, going with the flow instead of resisting it.

Be still before the Lord, and wait patiently for him.—Psalm 37:7

Let Go Let God In Devotion

I Am Devoted To God.

Of all the people, places, and things that fill my life, I feel especially blessed to put God first. I begin each day in prayerful communion, pouring out the concerns of my heart and listening for guidance. As I go through the day, I notice blessings all around me. Each encounter, every kind word and thoughtful act, is a way to feel the Divine in action, expressing through the people I meet. As the day winds down, I release the concerns and activity of the day with prayers of gratitude for all that went well, and forgiveness and acceptance for that which troubled me. I prepare for restful sleep, secure in the love of God and grateful for my place in the world.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.—1 John 4:7

Let Go Let God Give Thanks For Prosperity

I Give Thanks For Prosperity's Many Manifestations.

I open myself to prosperity by placing my faith in God. Prosperity—inexhaustible, invisible spiritual substance—is the source of all supply. The story of Jesus blessing the loaves and fish and giving thanks for the food to feed 5,000 hungry people beautifully demonstrates this teaching. As I seek to demonstrate greater prosperity, I focus my thoughts and feelings on abundance rather than insufficiency. I ask and believe as Jesus did, giving thanks in advance, and expecting to receive. I do not limit the idea of prosperity solely to money or tangible things. I understand prosperity encompasses inspiration, guidance, loving relationships, healing, and all the immeasurable blessings that give warmth, depth, and color to life.

Riches and honor are with me, enduring wealth and prosperity.—Proverbs 8:18

Let Go Let God Cooperate With Divine Order

Cooperating With Divine Order Increases My Awareness Of God.

When life seems chaotic and unpredictable, changing in ways that may feel too fast or too great, I go within and remind myself the divine pattern of order is always present everywhere, in everything, and in everyone. Knowing my oneness with God and all of life, I realize I am already in alignment with divine order. To bolster this awareness and keep it at the forefront of my thinking, I claim order in my body, my relationships, and every area of my life. When confusion or anxiety breaks through, I remain calm and remind myself that all is well and in order. I am in harmony with life and in the flow of all good things. One with God, I am in tune with the order that is always present.

The human mind plans the way, but the Lord directs the steps.—Proverbs 16:9

Let Go Let God Have Faith

No Matter My Need, I Begin With Faith.

Today I remember the importance of faith in all my endeavors. Like everyone, I will need all kinds of things during my lifetime. More money, more time, greater harmony, to name a few. Rather than pray for specific things or results, praying for the understanding and clarity to draw upon my faith is the best place to begin. I believe in the absolute goodness of God, and I believe in myself as a spiritual being endowed with the gift of faith to direct however I choose.

All things can be done for the one who believes.—Mark 9:23

Let Go Let God Be Free

I Am Free In God.

So many things in life can chip away at my sense of freedom. Schedules and obligations, memories, regrets, and resentments can bind my thoughts and constrict my heart, making me feel trapped in the past and anxious about the future. I can feel my precious freedom once again by placing my energy and attention on the realm of Spirit. In this place of precious communion, I touch the presence and peace of God. As I release the concerns of my worldly life in prayer, a new life opens up before me. Freed from limitation, I perceive the timelessness of divine life. The pressure to do and achieve diminishes. My thoughts quiet and I become still and serene. The past and the future fall away. In the present moment, I am free.

So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.—John 8:36

Let Go Let God Begin

Each New Day Is An Opportunity To Begin Again.

Just as the sun rises on the new day, a light dawns within me as I begin anew. My past is behind me. Not bound by my mistakes or regrets, I take the best of what I learned and leave the rest. My future is ahead of me, mine to shape according to my highest hopes and dreams. I say yes to opportunities that call to me. I pay attention to my passions and those things that kindle my zeal and enthusiasm. These nudges from Spirit encourage me to live into the highest expression of myself as a divine being, a beloved child of God. I am in the precious present now. I leave hesitation behind. One with God and at peace with myself, I am ready for every good thing as I begin again.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.—John 1:1

Let Go Let God Trust Guidance

God Is My Guiding Light.

Every day I have decisions to make. Some are small—what to wear, what to eat, where to go. Others are large and looming—financial concerns, health challenges, or how to help a loved one. Regardless, I make all my decisions from a place of love and wisdom. God is my light. Like the beacon of a lighthouse that guides ships safely around the shore, my inner light illuminates the path before me, highlighting my journey’s every twist and turn, making my way safe and sure. If I’m not sure what to choose, I become quiet and listen. My listening heart opens to divine wisdom, and I follow my guidance with faith. I do not need to know where my journey will take me. I need only trust my inner light is guiding me to my good.

This is God, our God forever and ever. He will be our guide forever.—Psalm 48:14

Let Go Let God Know Truth

God's Truth Is My Truth.

The world is filled to overflowing with information, so much, in fact, that I may find it difficult to know what is true. When I feel overwhelmed, I turn to the most reliable source of truth-the truth of God. God is absolute goodness, peace, and love. These are the enduring truths to which I give my attention and place my energy. Whatever builds me up, inspires me, and triggers my impulses toward kindness and decency has its roots in spiritual truth. Ideas that promote fear, scarcity, and separation are not based upon divine ideas of love, peace, and goodness. When I stay focused on the name and nature of God, I can more easily discern what is true in the world.

Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart to revere your name.—Psalm 86:11

Let Go Let God Share Compassion

I Give The Blessing Of My Compassionate Heart.

The Bible stories of Jesus forgiving, healing the sick, and feeding the hungry show me the importance of compassion. When I meet someone who is struggling, I can offer a helping hand. My offerings of the heart are as meaningful as any material gift. I can forgive, even if I am still hurting emotionally. I pray for those with health challenges, holding a vision of wholeness and peace. I offer help to those in need. I keep my heart open to others’ needs and consider their feelings. Acting from my spiritual nature, I hold thoughts of peace, love, and order and let them guide my words and actions. I practice patience, kindness, and love without expectation of return.

As he went ashore, he saw a great crowd; and he had compassion for them, because they were like sheep without a shepherd; and he began to teach them many things.—Mark 6:34
