Let Go Let God Be Heart-Centered

My heart is the abode of Love.

In a moment of quiet contemplation, I fix my thoughts on my heart center, and very quickly, I feel the love of God. Allowing my attention to rest here for a few moments, I declare silently: I am the abode of Love. Love is synonymous with God. It is unfailing and unchanging, mine to draw upon at any time. When I allow Love to permeate my entire being, it becomes a powerful force, driving out any doubt, sadness, or fear. My heart fills with the mighty magnetic force of Love, and I am empowered to do only good, to share only love. My every thought, word, and action express the love of God in me. Aglow with God’s love, my heart becomes a magnet attracting good from every direction.

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.—Proverbs 4:23

Let Go Let God in Prayer

In prayer, I commune with Spirit.

I treasure the act of prayer—communing with Spirit about what is on my heart and mind. I may say a prayer of gratitude for a specific blessing, or seek a change in circumstances. I may pray for clarity about a difficult decision or for the needs of a loved one. As I live in constant communication with Spirit, my life becomes a prayer. Answered prayer comes to me as an opportunity, a divine idea, a sense of hope, or perhaps a serendipitous connection with another. Whenever I pray, I feel connected, one with God. I believe in and expect answered prayers. I pray for “This or something better,” and I give thanks. As my prayers are answered, my faith grows.

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.—1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Let Go Let God in Faith

My faith is strong and my life successful.

Faith is the perceiving power of mind coupled with the power to shape substance. It is knowing that what I seek is already mine in Spirit. Through the power of faith and the energy of God, I cocreate experiences of health, abundance, and joy. Faith is like the steel used to reinforce and strengthen concrete. Steel provides a strong foundation on which to build a desired structure. Likewise, faith provides a stable foundation for creating the life I want to live. I allow faith to permeate my mind, filling me with the assurance of God’s good. Day by day, as I live in faith, it grows stronger and my life unfolds with ease and grace.

Who is a rock besides our God? The God who girded me with strength, and made my way safe.—Psalm 18:31-32

Let Go Let God Be Unique

I honor God’s grace by expressing my unique gifts.

Robert Browning wrote that there is “an inmost center in us all, where truth abides in fullness.” To know this inmost center, he said, we must open a way for the “imprisoned splendor” to escape. When my attention is focused outward, I may find that I compare myself to others or wish I was in some way different or better. When I turn inward, I see through the eyes of the Divine and realize my innate wholeness and perfection. I embrace my unique combination of God-given gifts and acknowledge my heart’s desire to express them. Uplifted and inspired, I joyfully share the richness of my divine inheritance with the world.

Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.—1 Peter 4:10

Let Go Let God Through Words

Through the power of my words, I create my reality.

Words are powerful tools that shape divine ideas into manifest reality. My words are always formative—what I think and consistently affirm becomes true for me. The throat serves as a doorway from the formless to the formed worlds. The words I choose generate emotions and reactions in myself and others, establishing our beliefs and stirring us into action. When I am attuned to Spirit within, I use the power of my words to create good. I support, uplift, and encourage myself and others. Conscious that what I routinely affirm becomes my reality, I choose words that create a stream of good in my life.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.—John 1:1

Let Go Let God be Flexible

Rooted in the wisdom of God, I am strong enough to be flexible.

As I interact with others, I may find it challenging to accept a different idea or point of view. My body may tense as I prepare to defend my beliefs. Instead, I consciously choose to pause, relax, and remember there are many paths to the top of the mountain. We each find our own way, and no single path is the only right one. As I open my heart to listen to others, I also hear guidance from within. Divine wisdom tells me what to say and do. When my life is firmly rooted in God, I have the strength to be flexible. When winds blow, the tree that bends remains intact, while the rigid timbers snap and fall. As I consider new ideas, I am strong enough to be flexible.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts … and my heart exults.—Psalm 28:7

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I affirm God’s blessings for you.

If a loved one faces difficulty, I pray for them. When I watch a news story or witness an accident, I pray for those involved. Prayer connects us soul to soul. Spirit is active in all beings at all times, and a simple prayer from the heart can help reestablish wholeness. Praying for others strengthens my faith. I trust the loving power of God to touch the hearts of those for whom I pray. When I see results or evidence of divine order, I am reassured and my faith deepens. Although I may not always know the outcome of my prayers, my faith assures me that needs are met in the right and perfect way. I am grateful that the spirit of God is with us and within us at all times and in all circumstances.

I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.—Ephesians 1:16

Let Go Let God on the Right Path

I am on my right and perfect path.

Sometimes life seems anything but simple. Yet the more I focus on how complicated a situation is, the more complexity I create. My imagination never pauses. Left to wander, it will often create problems and obstacles. But I can choose differently. I let go and surrender the situation to the power of God within. I give my imagination a rest and listen for divine guidance. I know that God’s guidance is neither complicated nor negative. It is simple, peaceful, and true—it feels right. Back on the right path, centered in God-consciousness, I now direct my imagination to envision the good unfolding in my life, and I am grateful.

The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything.—John 14:26

Let Go Let God with an Earth Blessing

I bless this glorious planet and all that live upon it.

In Genesis we read, “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth … Then God said, ‘Let the land produce vegetation: seed-bearing plants and trees on the land’ … God saw all that he had made, and it was very good.” Today I express my deep gratitude to God for this planet and all its glory. To show my appreciation, I take care of my earthly home. I start a garden, plant a tree, or pick up garbage in my community. I enjoy a walk in nature or meditate at sunrise. I bless the Earth by caring for it and respecting its delicate balance, which allows all life to coexist in harmony and flourish in abundance.

I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name.—Ephesians 3:14-15

Let Go Let God in Happiness

Centered in Spirit, I am happy.

We often think that money, possessions, and external conditions bring happiness. But it is my consciousness that determines true happiness. My state of mind affects my perception of the people, places, and events in my life. At the same time, my thoughts and words influence my experiences. Knowing this, I assume responsibility for my own state of happiness. Attuning myself to Spirit, I contemplate the love of God within me, for out of this love all blessings flow. I contemplate peace, which dwells deep within my soul. Out of this peace flows harmony with others. With my thoughts on these gifts of Spirit, I feel gratitude welling up within me, and happiness springs up naturally.

Happy are those who find wisdom, and those who get understanding.—Proverbs 3:13

Let Go Let God this Easter

I rejoice in the Christ Spirit within.

This Easter morning, I rejoice in Jesus Christ for demonstrating that no worldly tomb can imprison the living, loving, eternal Spirit of God. No matter what the circumstances, the resurrecting power of the Christ within restores and uplifts us. Whatever challenge I may be facing, I experience new faith and hope in the spirit and message of Easter. I rejoice in knowing I can “die” to my former self and be born anew—transformed and triumphant—through the power of the risen Christ in me. The Christ within invites me to rise up and walk in newness of life. I am liberated from any thoughts of weakness. I am free, powerful, and victorious. Thank you, Jesus Christ, for showing us the way to resurrection.

I am the resurrection and the life.—John 11:25

Let Go Let God Forgive

I forgive, and I am forgiven.

Today I choose forgiveness for myself and others. I let go of the perception of how things should have been and open my heart to accept life as it is. I make a choice for my serenity and peace of mind. I forgive any error I may have made in my thoughts, words, or actions. I quickly release any harsh judgment and step into expressing my best self. In so doing, I become more accepting, tolerant, and free. As I forgive others, the Divine in me connects to the Divine in them. Even if no apology is spoken, my forgiveness cleanses me of any bitterness. Forgiveness creates harmony and builds communication and understanding. By forgiving both others and myself, I gain an open heart and peace of mind.

For you, O Lord, are good and forgiving, abounding in steadfast love to all who call on you.—Psalm 86:5

Let Go Let God Reawaken

I am one with the Christ of my being.

Good Friday signifies the day on which Jesus was crucified and laid in the tomb. It symbolizes the process of transformation followed by resurrection. We can see it as a time to rest in God and enter into a higher state of consciousness as we release what no longer serves our spirit. Today I prepare for my own transformation as I retreat from the world and enter the Silence. In this sacred space, I let go of any worry or fear. I release any sense of inadequacy or doubt. I let go of anything separating me from the love of God. At rest in Oneness, I reawaken to my spiritual nature. I am one with the light and life of the indwelling Christ.

Now there was a garden in the place where he was crucified, and in the garden there was a new tomb in which no one had ever been laid.—John 19:41

Let Go Let God be Free

Today I am free to begin anew.

In springtime, all is made new. As buried bulbs push up through the ground, I behold the cycle of Life at work. I discover the same kind of drive in me to create a new life for myself. I am free to release old ideas, habits, or preconceptions. I choose to think and do only what supports my highest good. Each moment offers me the gift of making a new choice. I deserve the life I dream of—the life I was meant for. Every day I remind myself: I am free! I am free! My freedom grows as I trust in my God-given power. The seed of new possibilities has been planted in me. I blossom in every area of my life. I am happy, joyous, and free!

For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.—Galatians 5:1

Let Go Let God in World Peace

I emanate peace and love to all the world.

If I have been feeling angry or critical, I recognize that I may be disconnected from God’s peace within. Today I rise above these feelings, release them, and reconnect with the presence of God in me. As I meditate, I feel divine love moving in and through me. Loving-kindness begins to emanate from me to each person I meet. Love is the greatest harmonizing force in the world. It dissolves any feelings of negativity or judgment. It fills my heart with peace. As I discover and express the peace of God, I share it with others. As I do, they, too, awaken to peace within. As each individual recognizes and expresses peace and love, the world is blessed. One person at a time, we contribute to a world of peace.

A harvest of righteousness is sown in peace for those who make peace.—James 3:18

Let Go Let God in Discernment

In the Silence, I find the answers I seek.

When I need guidance, I go directly to the source of divine wisdom. I close my eyes and relax into my breath. I gently release the chatter in my mind, letting thoughts drift away like faint clouds sweeping across a blue sky. Settling into this silent place of peace, I find the all-knowing mind of God. I ask, rest, and listen. God’s will is always for the highest good of all concerned. It reveals next steps that unfold easily without force or manipulation. Divine guidance nudges me toward my good. I recognize its wisdom as an inner knowing and a feeling of peace in having received the answers I seek.

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your minds, so that you may discern what is the will of God—what is good and acceptable and perfect.–Romans 12:2

Let Go Let God for Prosperity

I am grateful for God’s abundant good.

If ever I fear I don’t have enough, I remember the story of the prophet Elisha and the poor widow. Elisha advised the widow to fear not, but to recognize what she had. He blessed the small amount of oil in her home and had her gather more vessels in preparation for its increase. Oil flowed, every available vessel was filled, and the widow was able to provide for her family. Prosperity was demonstrated through the widow’s gratitude, faith, and action; the good she prepared for came to her. I demonstrate prosperity as I bless and appreciate all I have and make room for more. All I need flows freely to me. As I receive with faith the riches of God’s kingdom, abundance is mine.

Then go in, and shut the door behind you and your children, and start pouring into all these vessels; when each is full, set it aside.—2 Kings 4:4

Let Go Let God in Welcome

With joy, I welcome the Christ—the spirit of God in the midst of me.

Palm Sunday commemorates Jesus’ triumphant entry into Jerusalem. The multitudes that awaited Jesus’ arrival cried, “Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord!” The thoughts we think, the cells in our bodies, and the events in our lives are like the multitudes who waited for Jesus: Everything in us waits for the appearance of the Christ—the Spirit of God in our midst—and shouts with joy at its arrival. If, for any reason, we are discouraged or in need, we recognize the Christ Spirit as it appears in our hearts and our consciousness. We feel uplifted. Through the power of the Christ within, our lives are transformed.

Blessed is the one who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!—Matthew 21:9

Let Go Let God Provide Comfort

I rest in Spirit, and I am comforted.

Life is unpredictable, and sometimes, I may feel frustrated or disappointed by unexpected events. I may feel hurt by the words or actions of others, or fearful due to an accident or illness. Yet through it all, I count on the love and comfort of Spirit. I am empowered by the spirit of God within, giving me courage and wisdom to brave any hardship. I hone in on what is working well in my life, while facing challenges with strength. I know that even the most difficult situations bring blessings. I rest in the comfort of Spirit, listening for guidance and finding the answers I seek. I am reassured, soothed, and consoled. Peace fills my soul.

For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Do not fear, I will help you.”—Isaiah 41:13

Let Go Let God in Birth

With each new insight, I am born anew.

Our physical birth is the beginning of our time on Earth, yet it also marks the end of a period of gestation or development. Whether a newborn emerging from its mother’s womb or a butterfly emerging from its cocoon, every being experiences this process of development and birth. While my physical body was born only once, my spiritual nature continuously seeks fuller expression. With each new insight or revelation, with each new period of growth, I am born anew. I am a spiritual being. I am the love of God in expression. In times of growth, challenge, or change, Spirit expands in me. My time on Earth may be limited, but my spiritual Self is eternal and ever-renewing.

What is born of the flesh is flesh, and what is born of the Spirit is spirit.—John 3:6

Let Go Let God in Affirmation

I affirm the absolute good of God.

The words I speak and write carry energy and power, so I choose them with care and clear purpose. When I speak words that express Truth, I set in motion the energy of prayer. My chosen words are sacred. What I send into the world returns to me multiplied. I boldly declare my good, speaking in life-affirming ways about myself and others. I live an empowered life of confidence and optimism. God is the only power at work within my mind, soul, and body, and this power is invincible. My affirmations demonstrate my faith in the absolute good of God. I speak with certainty, clarity, and positive expectation.

So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose.—Isaiah 55:11

Let Go Let God with Consciousness

I see the dawn of a new day.

My life is a reflection of my consciousness. If I am feeling unhappy with my circumstances, I don’t linger in disappointment or discouragement, but rather I rejoice in the discovery that I can change my life by shifting my consciousness. If I don’t like the film that is playing, I can change the reel! To shift my consciousness, I examine my beliefs. Do I believe I am deserving and loved? Do I believe I am one with God? I discard any unsupportive self-talk and affirm: I deserve all the good God has for me. I am whole, confident, and strong through the power of God within me. I repeat this practice until my consciousness shifts and I see the dawn of a new day.

I pray that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ … may give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation as you come to know him.—Ephesians 1:17

Let Go Let God Be Protected

I am strong and unafraid in the presence of God.

We are indebted to the men and women who protect us from harm—police officers, firefighters, those in military service, and many others. They help ensure our health and safety. I am also grateful for the divine protection of God. The presence of God within continually guides and protects me. I am never alone. Should a difficulty arise in my life, I draw on divine wisdom and courage to meet the challenge successfully. My faith in God gives me confidence and assurance that all is well. Aware of God’s presence and power, I am strong and unafraid. I am guided safely through every situation as I trust in the power of God within.

Protect them in your name that you have given me, so that they may be one, as we are one.—John 17:11

Let Go Let God in Healing

I am renewed by the healing activity of God.

The energy of God continually moves through me and all of life. As I attune myself to this life force, I unleash the mighty healing power of God within me. I affirm renewed energy, and I focus my thoughts on wholeness and healing. I release any worries I may have about my health and remember I am always in the flow of Divine Life. I welcome wholeness and peace of mind, placing my faith in the healing activity of God. In a similar way, I choose affirmative thoughts about others. When I pray for my loved ones, I visualize them whole and healthy and I let go of any worry. For all people in all situations, I have faith in the restorative power of the indwelling Spirit.

I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.–John 10:10

Let Go Let God with Perception

Behind all of life, I perceive Infinite Love.

Our physical senses allow us to perceive the world from a certain perspective. Yet as we expand our view spiritually, we perceive so much more. We open ourselves to a consciousness of Oneness—harmony and connectedness that radiates through everything and everyone. With our thoughts on the Divine, we attune to the Infinite Love behind all life. This radiant energy is present in every circumstance and in every person, even if it is not readily seen or heard. Evaluating life only through the filter of our physical senses, we might perceive discord or lack. Yet when we look at our lives with our hearts and minds on Spirit, evidence of the Divine is unmistakable.

Whoever is from God hears the words of God.—John 8:47

Let Go Let God with Inner Peace

I am peaceful and serene as I open to the Christ within.

In meditation, I leave all thoughts behind and begin a journey within. I breathe easily and allow my body to rest. If a thought distracts me, I take a deep breath and gently set it aside. I am peaceful and serene as I open to the Christ within. Comfortable here in the Silence, I relax and listen … A whisper resonates within, inviting me to immerse myself in the calm peace of my soul: “Peace, peace, Beloved.” All tension in my body melts away. I am a living, breathing expression of the Christ within. When I am ready, I bring my attention back to my surroundings. I am renewed in mind, body, and spirit. I am at peace.

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.—Romans 15:13

Let Go Let God with a Zest for Life

I love life!

If my life feels out of order, my enthusiasm may wane. Yet I feel my joy returning as I pause for a moment of prayer. I am a divine creation, made in the likeness of God to deliver a unique gift to the world. I bless every circumstance I encounter. My relationships, health, and goals are revitalized as I express the power of love and appreciation. God moves in and through me, and my life is blessed. I greet each new day with enthusiasm. Whatever I do, I do it with zeal!

Rekindle the gift of God that is within you.—2 Timothy 1:6

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I claim the wisdom of divine guidance.

If I lose my way while traveling, I stop to get my bearings. Likewise, on my journey through life, if I stumble or feel uncertain, I pause to re-center myself. I do not allow fear or anxiety to take over my thoughts. With each calming breath, I claim the wisdom of divine guidance, always available in that peaceful place within. As I breathe, I release thoughts that I may be lacking anything necessary for my good. I affirm: As I let go of the tension of uncertainty, I claim the wisdom of God’s guidance. Nothing is more powerful than Divine Mind. I am one with its infinite wisdom. As I speak these words of Truth in prayer, I open the way for the guidance I seek.

Your words have supported those who were stumbling, and you have made firm the feeble knees.—Job 4:4

Let Go Let God Teach Me

I am willing to learn and grow.

As I turn within to pray, I prepare to bring forth my best Self. I am willing to learn and grow. All I need is fulfilled through the presence of God within me. I open to greater faith, love, and understanding as I pray: Teach me. Show me how to be more loving and understanding. Teach me to embody and express Divine Love in my thoughts, words, and actions. Lead me into forgiveness. I open now to the way of Divine Love. Guide me. Show me how to be faith-filled. Give me the vision to see beyond appearances. Help me to know how to live and express Truth every day. I open now to Divine Wisdom and Understanding. With gratitude, I open my heart to learn and to grow in the way of Truth. And so it is. Amen.

Humility goes before honor.—Proverbs 15:33

Let Go Let God Bring Joy

Gratitude brings me joy!

According to the Law of Increase, what I focus on multiplies. Knowing this, I refrain from dwelling on my challenges and struggles. I choose instead to center my thoughts on what brings me happiness—my friends and family, beloved pets, satisfying work and interests, the beauty of nature, and so much more. As I appreciate the blessings in my life, they multiply abundantly. I joyously and continuously give thanks for my ever-increasing good and stand in awe of the activity of God. As I dwell in the energy of gratitude, its radiance expands within me, blessing not only myself, but also those around me.

You have multiplied the nation, you have increased its joy; they rejoice before you as with joy at the harvest.—Isaiah 9:3
