Let Go Let God With Spiritual Power

I Have The Power To Shape My Life.

I am blessed with spiritual powers that I use to create my world. As I choose my thoughts, feelings, words, and actions, I am using my powers creatively and with intention. For instance, I express the power of love to contribute to a world of harmony and peace. I connect with my restorative power of life to send healing energy throughout my body. I use my power of understanding to deepen my awareness of my spiritual nature. When faced with a decision to make, I discern the options available to me through my power of wisdom, and I use my power of will to choose the best one. My power of faith helps me believe those I hold in prayer are abundantly blessed. I am a divine being, blessed with spiritual gifts that make me powerful beyond measure.

For the kingdom of God depends not on talk but on power.—1 Corinthians 4:20

Let Go Let God Find Serenity

I Find Serenity In All Circumstances, Knowing God Is Within And All Around Me.

There is a place inside me that is untouched by the chaos of the world, a part entirely centered in the awareness of the divine love and unlimited possibility that is God. No matter what is happening outside of me, I can reach this space by pausing, breathing deeply, and anchoring my consciousness there. As I do these things, I find calm in discord. Within turmoil, I sense serenity. Feeling lost, I am suddenly found. I am never alone because God is within me. I am never past hope because I am within God. Right at the center of who and what I am is my guiding light, every possible solution already known. I stand serenely within any challenge because I stand within God.

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways. The Lord be with all of you.—2 Thessalonians 3:16

Let Go Let God With Attention

I Place My Attention On The Best Aspects Of My Life.

My attention is a powerful tool I can use to focus my thoughts and feelings. When I place my attention on my many blessings, I live in constant awareness of everything for which I am grateful, all that is good in my life. Living in this state of gratitude keeps me positive and expectant that even more good—more love, more joy, more peace, more prosperity—is on its way to me. As thoughts of gratitude fill my consciousness, my attention naturally goes to all that is beautiful and positive in my life. Soon, all worrisome and troubling thoughts are crowded out by the attention I place on my blessings, the goodness of the people in my life, the beauty of the natural world, and the love I feel for God.

Happy is the one who listens to me, watching daily at my gates, waiting beside my doors.—Proverbs 8:34

Let Go Let God Provide Comfort

Comfort Comes When I Embody God's Gentleness And Compassion.

When I see someone in distress, I want to do what I can to ease their pain. I center myself so I can be spiritually present. At the core of my being, my divine nature knows just what to do and say to bring calm and ease. Sometimes there just are no words that can relieve another’s burden. It is then that my loving touch can speak volumes. If we are not together, then I send love and prayers across the miles. I trust that they will feel my prayer and be comforted by it. There are times when I may need comfort as well. I prioritize my needs and give myself the opportunity to take some time alone and find peace in whatever way works for me. God is with me and I am comforted.

Let your steadfast love become my comfort according to your promise to your servant.—Psalm 119:76

Let Go Let God Spread World Peace

My Peaceful Heart Spreads Peace Throughout The World.

When I toss a pebble into still water, I can see ripples spread out from around it. One small pebble can create an effect that far extends outward. I remember this when I think of the state of the world today. The spiritual energy I put forth causes a ripple effect that extends beyond me and the people I know, reaching people I will likely never meet. A peaceful world begins with my peaceful heart. When I wonder what I can do to bring peace to the far corners of the world, I begin where I am. I am patient and understanding. I am quick to offer forgiveness and lend a helping hand. I trust that being a peaceful presence will reach far beyond me, blessing so many lives.

Then turning to the disciples, Jesus said to them privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!”—Luke 10:23

Let Go Let God Live In Thankfulness

Thankfulness Is My Heart's Natural Expression.

I need no special reason to be thankful, no list of blessings to inspire gratitude. Rev. Eric Butterworth wrote, “One can be grateful with the same spontaneity as being happy. It simply flows forth from within and becomes a causative energy.” With a thankful mind and heart, I release worry and frustration, trusting that my every need will be met. I discover more of God’s presence in myself and others, everywhere I go. I see possibilities for good even in challenging circumstances. Eager to share my thankfulness, I welcome opportunities to be of service to others, just as I gratefully accept blessings shared with me. I live in the flow of life, love, peace, and abundant beauty. I am thankful!

Give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.—1 Thessalonians 5:18

Let Go Let God Relax

I Relax And Recharge As I Breathe Into This Moment.

There are times when the clamor of my life makes me want to wall myself off from the world. While this is neither practical nor possible, I can step away, even if just for a moment or two. Stilling my thoughts and concentrating on my breath, I begin to let go. I release worry or anxiety. I think only of my oneness with God, a connection of love, wisdom, and peace. Attuning my spirit to God within, I find my innate peace and calmness. In these quiet moments, I create a positive, tranquil climate, and I feel fulfilled. I let stress fall away as I decompress and relax. Breathing and affirming peace, I nurture my mind, body, and spirit. Now fully charged, I am ready to reenter the world in a spirit of blissful calm.

Be still, and know that I am God!—Psalm 46:10

Let Go Let God Forgive

Through Forgiving Others, I Restore Myself.

I may find it difficult to forgive others for something they have done if I perceive it to be wrong. Forgiveness can be even more difficult when another’s acts or words have left me feeling hurt. Jesus taught that forgiveness is something to be practiced often. It is truly a gift we give to ourselves. When I forgive another, my thought of that person is healed of the burden of my harsh judgment. I am restored, and I believe they are uplifted and restored as well. As I release my heavy load, I breathe, realizing that the grip I have held for so long on these individuals has kept only me in bondage. The pain has been mine, not theirs. Now I can move forward in lightness and freedom.

My friends, if anyone is detected in a transgression, you who have received the Spirit should restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness.—Galatians 6:1

Let Go Let God Protect

I Bless The Earth With Love And Care.

I am a caretaker of my beloved home, planet Earth. Just as I want my living space, my body, and my loved ones cared for and protected, I pray for and work to protect the earth. The Book of Genesis proclaims humankind was given dominion over the fish, birds, and living things of the earth. I accept this authority and use it wisely. I am mindful of steps I can take to support a healthy and vibrant planet. Recycling, opting for environmentally safe products, and working to eliminate litter and contamination help keep waterways, air, and environments safe for all life. In my spiritual practice I bless and give thanks in honor of the earth and for all those who share the call for its protection.

As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night, shall not cease.—Genesis 8:22

Let Go Let God All Is In Divine Order

Everything In My Life Is Working Out For Good.

My life is an adventure in change, and I have learned to flow with those changes by establishing myself in the spirit of divine order. Change can feel scary, especially if it involves something I didn’t choose or expect. I call forth the spirit of God within me to grow in faith and trust in divine order working in and through my life. As I trust this process, I become increasingly flexible and spontaneous, relaxing into the unknown. Through my faith in God, I believe my life—and all life—is moving in the direction of its most perfect expression. My expanding awareness reveals the world to me in a new way. I am in the flow of divine order, and my life is working out for the best.

For God is a God not of disorder but of peace.—1 Corinthians 14:33

Let Go Let God Release

I Release My Past And Future And Embrace My Present.

How many times have I tried to get started on a new endeavor only to shrink from it, feeling hesitant remembering past mistakes or feeling fearful about whether I have the ability or talent to complete it successfully? I rob myself of my power and agency when I dwell in the past or future. With gratitude, I release the past, taking from it lessons I’ve learned and memories I want to treasure. With acceptance, I release the future, doing what I can to ensure my success and then letting go of concern about whether my efforts are enough. Releasing the past and future keeps my attention focused on the present moment. This is where I am most aware of my divine nature, where I most fully feel the presence of God.

So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!—2 Corinthians 5:17

Let Go Let God Have Faith

I Have Faith The Highest And Best Outcomes Are Unfolding In My Life.

Whenever I am faced with a tough situation or challenging circumstance, I take some quiet time to turn my awareness inward. In these sacred moments, I breathe gently, releasing my fears and worries. I acknowledge an inner knowing that goes beyond my physical senses as I affirm: I have faith the highest and best are unfolding. Through prayer, I am able to move my attention from any problem I may be facing, going beyond the appearance of lack to the reality of abundance. I draw from a deep well of faith and open to alternative solutions and infinite possibilities. I move forward in confidence, blessed with faith that love, peace, health, and joy are manifesting in my life now.

But overhearing what they said, Jesus said to the leader of the synagogue, “Do not fear, only believe.”—Mark 5:36

Let Go Let God Pray For Others

With Mind And Heart, I Know The Truth For Each Person I Hold In Prayer.

A friend, someone said, knows the truth for you until you can know it for yourself. Praying for friends, family members, and those I haven’t met, I center my awareness in the truth that each one for whom I pray is a living expression of God, just as I am. Letting go of fear, I release thoughts of lack, illness, disharmony, or any limitation. I see each person for whom I pray abundantly blessed. I see each one warmed and comforted by divine love that lifts their hearts and brings harmony to their relationships. I affirm their abundant living guided by divine love, wisdom, and understanding. I see each life unfolding in perfect divine order, enjoying security, health, and joy.

I will pray with the spirit, but I will pray with the mind also; I will sing praise with the spirit, but I will sing praise with the mind also.–1 Corinthians 14:15

Let Go Let God Receive Guidance

I Am Grateful For The Gift Of Spiritual Intuition.

When I need to make a decision or decide my next steps, my first thought might be to look for directions outside myself. Today I make a new choice. I become quiet and receptive and connect with my still, small voice. Fresh ideas and specific solutions arise in my mind as I place my oneness with God at the forefront of my mind. If I have a question, I write it down, go into meditation, and trust my impressions. I invest some time in a spiritual search using my intuition, aligning with that part of me that knows answers and inspiration are already at hand. I tap into an abundant storehouse of knowledge and discover more about who I am and who I am called to be along this journey of a lifetime!

Now listen to me. I will give you counsel, and God be with you!–Exodus 18:19

Let Go Let God Be Happy

My Soul Sings A Song Of Happiness.

The joy I feel in my heart is the source of my happiness. My mood is light and my outlook bright because of the happiness I bring to every area of my life. Being in joyful connection with the Christ essence within me, I go through life uplifted and happy. My happiness helps me rise above anything that might bring me down. I am kind and welcoming to everyone I encounter, and my cheer and laughter come forth easily. Being happy is a constant reminder not to sweat the small stuff and remember what is truly important in life: my friends and family, the majesty of the natural world, and the joy of living a spiritual life. In tune with my divine essence, I am a happy and joyful person.

Happy are the people to whom such blessings fall; happy are the people whose God is the Lord.–Psalm 144:15

Let Go Let God Know Prosperity

Prosperity Blesses My Life.

Prosperity is so much more than what’s in my wallet or bank account. Prosperity is a mindful focus on the things that are important to me and help me feel happy and successful in life. I feel prosperous when my family is happy, my life has meaning, and I am meeting my goals and living my dreams. I feel prosperous when I walk the path of life in deep awareness of God, the true source of prosperity and peace. How blessed I am to know that I am not alone, that God is within and all around me. I train my thoughts on abundance. As the divine idea of prosperity fills my consciousness, so, too, does it manifest in every area of my life. I am so grateful for my prosperity.

Let the favor of the Lord our God be upon us, and prosper for us the work of our hands—O prosper the work of our hands!–Psalm 90:17

Let Go Let God Bless The Animals

I Give Thanks For All Animals And For Our Sacred Connection.

This wondrous world is home to a magnificent array of animals. As I consider the animal kingdom, I give thanks for the animals that are part of my daily life—my pets or those of family and friends and the wildlife that lives nearby. I expand my thoughts to include all creatures of the land, sea, and air. All are an integral part of the world, helping to create our diverse ecosystem. Today I feel my deep connection to all animals. I learn from the unconditional love of pets as well as from the astute intelligence and sharp instincts of the wild creature. I recognize my role in both appreciating and protecting animals, and I bless them with thoughts of love, gratitude, safety, and order.

But ask the animals, and they will teach you … In his hand is the life of every living thing and the breath of every human being.—Job 12:7, 10

Let Go Let God Receive Healing

The Healing Energy Of God Renews Me.

Wholeness is my true nature as a child of God. Each time I connect consciously to Spirit within, I discover this Truth and am renewed with an influx of divine healing energy. When I still my body and mind and bring my attention to my divinity, I become more receptive to the presence of God within me. Like flipping a light switch to let the electricity flow, my peaceful mind invites the light of God to rush into me and fill my entire being. I imagine this healing light flooding every cell in my body and every corner of my mind. In this state of oneness, I open myself to the healing energy of God. I am grateful for this healing, a blessing and a return to wholeness.

Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly.—Isaiah 58:8

Let Go Let God Live In Peace

I Live In A State Of Peace Today.

Using the creative power of my thoughts, I begin my day by centering myself in the peace of God that resides deep in my heart. Breathing deeply, I find this infinite peace. I spend a few quiet moments in this sanctuary as I prepare to greet the day. With peace in my heart, I see beyond any act of another that may disturb or annoy me. I put down my defenses and let wonder guide me. I recognize that I don’t know the reasons behind the actions of another, and I bless that person. I focus on what I want to accomplish today. In awareness of my oneness with the peace of Spirit, I live this truth: I AM peace, I AM love, I AM wisdom. I move through my day with confidence, doing that which is mine to do.

While they were talking about this, Jesus himself stood among them and said to them, “Peace be with you.”—Luke 24:36

Let Go Let God Imagine

I Imagine Limitless Possibilities.

In childhood, my imagination helped me see fascinating shapes and wondrous creatures in cloud formations. Picking up a twig, I might have pretended I held a wand that could give me magical powers. An ordinary packing box could become a vessel to sail on or under the seas, an aircraft to fly higher than mountains, or even a spaceship I could fly to explore the stars. Much more than whimsy, imagination is a potent spiritual tool. I use my imagination with intention to give shape to my dreams and goals. Although my childhood may be a memory, I am grateful that I can still use my imagination to create the life of my dreams as I envision possibilities beyond the reality I know and the world I see.

For I tell you that many prophets and kings desired to see what you see, but did not see it, and to hear what you hear, but did not hear it.—Luke 10:24

Let Go Let God Discover

My Life Is A Great Adventure Of Discovery.

Every day provides me with new and exciting opportunities to learn, change, and grow. I align with the presence of God within and am uplifted by divine love, wisdom, knowledge, and grace. This awareness helps me discover more about who I am—an infinite, divine being. I claim this day and use the opportunities it provides me. As I face life with an adventurous spirit, I experience the happiness and love that my heart desires. I am grateful for the energy that empowers me to accomplish what is mine to do. I embrace today as my perfect opportunity to express my adventurous self. As I discover my spiritual purpose, I feel emboldened and brave, ready to open new doors of experience and walk through.

From this time forward I make you hear new things, hidden things that you have not known.—Isaiah 48:6

Let Go Let God Be Set Free

My Inner Spirit Sets Me Free.

I express my free and unlimited spirit in this moment. The past cannot bind me. The future does not limit me. As a spiritual being, I am free! As I let go of any thoughts and feelings that have burdened me or pushed me down, my heart is uplifted into a new vista, a higher atmosphere of freedom. I embrace the truth that I have the power within me to determine my experience. With God as my source, I am meant to live freely. No one else can give me my happiness or peace of mind. Just as I wish to express my uniqueness, I allow others their distinctive expressions. As I free others, I generously share the love of God that fills my heart, expands my mind, and frees my soul.

See what love the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and that is what we are.—1 John 3:1

Let Go Let God Spread Harmony

The Harmony I Seek Begins With Me.

It’s natural to want to live in harmony with other people and the world around me, but I cannot expect to find harmony around me if there is inharmony within. I search myself for anything that may be keeping me from living harmoniously. Maybe I’ve been working too hard and need some rest and relaxation. Or perhaps I could benefit from some calming time in nature. The best way to regain harmony is to tend to my spiritual life. I take time to rest in the Silence, quieting my mind. I listen to my favorite music or read my most treasured scripture, opening my heart. I feel deep peace on these walks with God, and I carry the harmony that soothes my soul into the world.

As a plan for the fullness of time, to gather up all things in him, things in heaven and things on earth.—Ephesians 1:10

Let Go Let God Live With Vigor

I Am Blessed With Vivacity, Vim, And Vigor.

Health is more than the absence of illness. It is living fully to the best of my abilities until I brim with vitality. Today I do everything I can to increase my vigor. I exercise to develop my muscles and increase my stamina. I learn new things to expand my mind, stimulate my imagination, and broaden my perspective. My vigor makes me strong and resilient as I call myself higher; each challenge is an invitation to do what I’m not sure I can do and to go further than I think I can go. Through it all, my commitment to my spiritual practices increases my vigor and my awareness of my oneness with God. I am vitally alive and full of vigor as I achieve all I set out to do.

May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power.—Colossians 1:11

Let Go Let God Discover Grace

I Discover Grace In Every Moment Of Connection.

Teachings about grace are found in many of the world’s religions. Though details may differ, all agree that grace is an aspect of the Divine that exists inside each one of us. Grace helps us weather life’s storms, find light in the darkness, and keep faith strong when the evidence for it is hard to discern. The grace of God that lives within us shows itself in small ways every day, whenever we experience something that causes us to pause, even for a second, and become aware of our connectedness. Grace is a gift that lives in me that I give freely and with joy. I might send a greeting to a faraway friend or offer a helping hand to someone in need. Grace is a beautiful way of sharing the love and care of God.

Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.—Hebrews 12:14

Let Go Let God Be Joy

The Joy Of My Heart Is My Guiding Light.

Joy is the expansion of my heart. My joy is a sparkling gem of spiritual activity that buoys my spirit. My heart expands in joy when I learn of stories about a person who has gone out of the way to help someone else or whose small gesture makes a monumental difference in another's life. Opening to the feelings that bubble up when I observe such actions, I am inspired to act in kind. I give from a place of joy to lend a helping hand to someone in need or provide humor to lift someone's spirit. In turn, my joy deepens and expands. I choose to live from the joy in my heart, which is the guiding light of my thoughts and actions. I find deep, lasting fulfillment in all I do.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. - Galations 5:22-23

Let Go Let God Arise

I Welcome My Resurrection Experience.

In Mark's gospel, the women who come to anoint Jesus' body on Easter morning flee in terror when, after finding the tomb empty, they are told Jesus has been raised. Stories from early Christian communities describe a transformation from fear to faith as Jesus' early followers come to realize that not even death can hold the Christ spirit captive. With joyous faith, Jesus' followers greet one another, declaring, "He is risen!" and affirming, "He is risen indeed!" Letting go of fear, I say yes to my resurrection experience. Guided by the resurrecting power of the Christ spirit within me, I am set free from the tomb of lack and limitation. I follow Jesus into the light of new awareness, a new dimension of life. Christ is risen in me.

But he said to them, "Do not be alarmed; you are looking for Jesus of Nazareth, who was crucified. He has been raised; he is not here." - Mark 16:6

Let Go, Let God

Spiritual Surrender Empowers Me.

Sometimes I've done all I can do and said all I can say. When I have exhausted all options and find myself without remedy, comfort, or resolution, I may feel frustrated, defeated or even brokenhearted. At times when all hope feels lost, I find my strength and power in surrender. Letting go and letting God is an act of trust and faith. It's the belief that even in my bleakest moments, the presence of God is within me and all around me. I think of the chasm between the pain of Jesus' crucifixion and the promise of his resurrection, when his followers were left only with their faith to sustain them. During my longest nights, I call upon the faith they demonstrated as I accept the darkness and prepare to welcome the dawn.

And remember, I am with you always, to the end of the age. - Matthew 28:20

Let Go Let God Contemplate

I Contemplate My Journey Of Faith On Good Friday.

I remember times in my life when my faith was tested, particularly at those times I faced a seemingly hopeless situation or a painful ending. Today I focus my thoughts on Jesus’ final hours. I search beyond the pain and fear he surely felt and imagine the faith that sustained him until the end. As I contemplate Jesus’ suffering and his eventual acceptance at the end of his life, I am reminded of the times when my faith may have waned before it led me to a place of acceptance. Just as Jesus overcame the cross, I, too, have overcome my darkest moments and toughest trials. I contemplate this overcoming and give thanks the faith Jesus demonstrated lives in me.

I have said this to you, so that in me you may have peace. In the world you face persecution. But take courage; I have conquered the world!—John 16:33

Let Go Let God Love One Another

Love Flows Through Me To Bless Others.

Throughout his ministry, Jesus often spoke about love. I am inspired by Jesus’ words but perhaps even more by his actions as I reflect on his washing his disciples’ feet on Maundy Thursday. Through this act of humility and service, Jesus set an example for the disciples to follow to continue his ministry. He then said to the disciples, “I give you a new commandment, that you love one another … By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another” (John 13:34-35). Jesus spoke of his love for his disciples as he called upon them to abide in his love. Today I make a new commitment to follow Jesus’ commandment as I welcome all opportunities to serve and to love.

As the Father has loved me, so I have loved you; abide in my love.—John 15:9
