Let Go Let God Bless Home

I Bless My Home.

More than just rooms and walls, my house is my home. I bless my home by making it a place of warmth, comfort, and welcome for all who enter it. With care and attention, I create a warm and lively environment, and I find joy in opening my doors to my friends and family in the spirit of hospitality. I bless my home with positivity and conviviality. My home is filled with love and joy, and I feel blessed to relax into its comforts. My home is a sanctuary of peace, where I can deeply feel my connection with God. Even if I am away from my house, my spiritual home is always available to me whenever I consciously commune with God. I make my home in the love and peace of God. I am blessed to always find comfort in the home of my heart.

My people will abide in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.—Isaiah 32:18

Let Go Let God as Light

The Light of God Surrounds Me.

When darkness casts shadows in my life or in the life of someone I care about, I call upon the divine light that lives within me and expresses as me. Just as the light of the sun illuminates the sky, the light of God illuminates my mind, brightens my soul, and warms my heart. Even during life’s darkest moments, the light of God is always shining within me just as it shines within all people. Basking in this light, I find the strength and power to lift myself up. Through acts of service and loving-kindness, I can be the light that helps guide others through any darkness they may be facing. Every smile, kind word, thoughtful deed, or offer of help has the potential to brighten someone’s day.

They rise in the darkness as a light for the upright; they are gracious, merciful, and righteous.—Psalm 112:4

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I Hold You in the Light of Love.

Today I give the gift of prayer. I remain mindful that my positive perspective blesses my loved ones, especially when it’s difficult to see beyond the immediacy of a hardship and maintain a higher view. I let go of thoughts of doubt or fear and feel my spirit lift. My hopefulness turns into certainty that the highest good will be revealed. I think and speak positively and affirmatively. My thoughts gently support those for whom I pray. I keep the highest thoughts for those I hold in prayer. I see each one as an expression of God, filled with divine light, life, and love. I affirm infinite wisdom and perfect wholeness. I see each one as love in action, ready to receive abundant blessings with grace and gratitude.

You also join in helping us by your prayers, so that many will give thanks on our behalf for the blessing granted us through the prayers of many.—2 Corinthians 1:11

Let Go Let God Forgive

I Find Freedom in Forgiveness.

Holding on to anger, fear, and resentment is like carrying a bunch of bricks everywhere I go. Each brick adds its own weight, and if I am not willing to release some of the load, the burden can become unbearably heavy. Forgiving not only allows me to lay down my bricks, it helps me use them to create a strong foundation of healing and growth I can continue to build upon. I release the power I have given the past over my present. I let go of the hold I allowed others to have over my feelings. I release judgment, knowing it only serves to weigh me down. I breathe deeply, releasing my pain one heavy brick at a time. Increasing strength, courage, and comfort create solid ground beneath me as I revel in the freedom of forgiveness.

Bear with one another and, if anyone has a complaint against another, forgive each other.—Colossians 3:13

Let Go Let God Renew

My Renewal Brightens My World.

Taking time to rest and recharge is an essential part of my spiritual practice. I may believe it would take a week-long vacation for me to feel well-rested, or that I would need to redecorate my home in order to feel a sense of newness in my surroundings. When I choose to view my world through the eyes of the Christ presence within me, however, everything is changed—just as it is. Everything feels vibrant and new when I make time every day to renew myself with meditation, prayer, deep breathing, a short walk, or even a few moments outside beholding the sky. I incorporate new activities into every day that reveal the Divine in all I encounter.

Let us know, let us press on to know the Lord; his appearing is as sure as the dawn; he will come to us like the showers, like the spring rains that water the earth.—Hosea 6:3

Let Go, Let God

I am Lifted in Spirit, Guided, and Loved.

I may become frustrated, exasperated, or impatient when I’m faced with unmet expectations or disappointments. Resisting the temptation to place blame or find fault, I pause and reflect instead. I realize that my upset is not serving me. Instead, I substitute trust, patience, and acceptance as I choose to let go and let God. My thoughts turn from frustrations to positive possibilities as I become aware of the presence of God in and as my life. By releasing worry and concern, I open to a warm assurance that all is in divine order. As I let go and let God, ideas flow freely and I discern opportunities I had not seen previously.

If you remove the yoke from among you, the pointing of the finger, the speaking of evil … the Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places.—Isaiah 58:9, 11

Let Go Let God Find Comfort

I Find Comfort in the Spirit of God Within.

As I focus my attention on my inner world, my awareness heightens and I rest in a deep and enduring trust in God. This abiding Spirit provides me with the lasting assurance that all is truly well. I allow my life to resonate with this divine presence. My time of prayer and reflection is an opportunity for me to fully realize my spiritual identity and meet life from a place of faith. Here, I discover wholeness and satisfaction in the deepest core of my being. My heart finds comfort in this feeling of peace and serenity. I feel a deep, nurturing love that warms my heart. Whatever my direction, wherever I go, I find comfort in the assurance that I am the beloved expression of infinite Spirit.

And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, to be with you forever.—John 14:16

Let Go Let God Be Open to Guidance

I Am Directed by God's Perfect Guidance.

Just as all of life moves forward toward the good, my life is being drawn ahead, guided by Spirit within. I pause to still and center my mind and open to a new direction. My spiritual intuition guides me along a purposeful course. I feel assured by this divine guidance. I call upon all the knowledge I need to make the choices that are mine to make. As I move in this new direction, doors of opportunity open before me. I walk through those doors with courage, trusting my heart to lead me clearly into the next step of my soul’s evolution. With the guiding spirit of God as my compass, I am fearless. My steps are sure, my heart is full, and I move ahead with confidence and resolve.

Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but will have the light of life.—John 8:12

Let Go Let God Inhale Inner Peace

The Peace of God Fills My Mind, My Heart, and My Life.

Quiet moments in a fragrant garden, a stroll by a lake or stream, or a visit to any place of beauty inspires a deep awareness of peace. I also enjoy peace in the company of friends, those with whom I have easy camaraderie and deep bonds. Growing in spiritual awareness, I claim inner peace wherever I am. True inner peace comes from deep within me. If I am feeling less than peaceful, I pause and breathe out worry, fear, and unhealthy concern. Giving my full attention to the divine presence within me, I breathe in a peace that soothes my emotions, calms my thoughts, and relaxes my body. As I continue to inhale peace and exhale concern, I move forward with renewed clarity and confidence.

Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—in peace because they trust in you.—Isaiah 26:3

Let Go Let God Create a Legacy

I Create a Living Legacy of Unity.

Since the beginning of time, people have wanted to understand the mysteries of life. I learn and grow from the discoveries of those who have come before me and hope that those who come after me will benefit from what I have learned. Throughout generations, many have contributed to the understanding of the power of thought, prayer, devotion, and service. I am a link in that chain, using my spiritual practices to improve myself and to help create a better, kinder world to leave for the next generation of spiritual seekers. I stand upon the shoulders of those who came before me and further their legacy by sharing their understanding and their vision.

Keep on doing the things that you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, and the God of peace will be with you.—Philippians 4:9

Let Go Let God with Excitement

I Am Alive with the Exuberance of Life.

A child experiences the world for the first time in so many ways: a snowfall; a puppy’s energetic, wriggly attention; a rainbow; a cookie. There is excitement and magic in these new encounters—a wonder, filled with surprise. My sense of wonder has evolved, yet I remain excited about new discoveries or breakthroughs in my life. I might devise a new way to accomplish a task. Perhaps I will reestablish contact with an old friend after many years apart. A spiritual principle I practice might change my perspective. I can bring more excitement into my life by trying new things, like learning to play a musical instrument or speak a foreign language. As I challenge myself, I feel ever more alive.

Open my eyes, so that I may behold wondrous things out of your law.—Psalm 119:18

Let Go Let God Respect

I Respect Myself and All Others.

Variations of the Golden Rule can be found throughout the world’s religions. Today I set the intention to live by this timeless rule of treating others the way I wish to be treated. I see the Divine in myself as a child of God, and I treat others with the highest respect as I recognize and celebrate their innate divinity. I offer respect in all of my encounters with people. I commit to listening without clamoring to speak. I practice patience with those who don’t keep my pace. I meet impatience with compassion. I behold my neighbors as my teachers, and I treat them with reverence.

But we appeal to you, brothers and sisters, to respect those who labor among you, and have charge of you in the Lord and admonish you; esteem them very highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.—1 Thessalonians 5:12-13

Let Go Let God Share World Peace

I Share My Peace with the World.

Today I choose to turn within to the place of peace that is always available to me. In this place, the news of the world cannot touch my mind or my heart. Nestled into the secret place of the Most High, I pray and lift my awareness to omnipresent Spirit. I set my mind on Spirit, and I affirm life, wholeness, harmony, and peace. The power and presence of God is all I know. As I return my attention to the world around me, my perception of my surroundings has shifted. No longer discouraged by news of conflict or strife, I share the gifts of my prayer time and affirm harmony and peace throughout the world and for the benefit of all people. As I am transformed through prayer, so the world is uplifted.

To set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.—Romans 8:6

Let Go Let God Act with Faith

I Believe All Things are Possible with God.

My faith carries me through all circumstances and empowers me to think and dream big. The power of faith helps me transcend thoughts of limitation, doubt, and fear. I can’t see a material outcome to my prayers yet, but I remain mindful that divine order is unfolding and answers and opportunities will come to me at the perfect time. In times of prayer, I visualize my dreams coming true as I use my power of faith to see the life I wish to live within my reach. Even if I start to feel doubt, I can pray, meditate, speak, and act with faith until I once again believe that my good is manifesting. I continue to connect with indwelling Spirit until I am filled anew with rightly directed faith.

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.—Hebrews 11:1

Let Go Let God Find Grace

I Am One with the Grace of God.

When I think of grace, movement may come to mind: a bird’s gentle flight; a lithe ballerina’s dance; a peaceful, meandering stream; or the continuous movement of stars and planets. Looking within, I remember grace as the movement of Spirit always at work in my life. Grace is sometimes so subtle that I may not be aware of it, but it is always there, flowing in and through me and my world. I may find grace in a friendly smile, an idea that motivates me, a quiet intuition that leads to a new direction, or renewed hope and purpose. Spirit’s graceful movement flows within me as easily and gently as a stream, filling me with energy and ideas and inspiring my steps in the direction of my true purpose.

The Lord be with your spirit. Grace be with you.—2 Timothy 4:22

Let Go Let God Be Protected

I Shine My Light and Feel Protected.

Feelings of fear that creep into my life may conjure childhood memories of scary nighttime images and noises. As a child, I may have felt afraid of the dark or startled by an unfamiliar sound. But the morning sun always dispelled the darkness, and I realized there was never anything to fear. I keep that knowledge alive as I let the divine presence within dissolve the darkness of fear and shine the light of comfort and safety. Now when any darkness descends in my life, I remember the protecting love, presence, and power of God expressing as me. As I attune more fully to my divine nature, light dawns within my consciousness and I realize that God’s protection is always mine.

The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?—Psalm 27:1

Let Go Let God Love

I Am Loving. I Am Loved.

Following the teaching of Jesus, I love my neighbor as myself. To be truly loving toward those around me, I cultivate the awareness that I am a spiritual being, able to love and be loved. I practice self-love by taking care of myself. I give myself permission for quiet time away to relax and reflect. I may take an hour to exercise or spend time with a cherished friend. I do the things that make me feel joyful and most alive. Prioritizing my self-care allows me to have more love to give. I freely share my loving intentions, attitudes, and actions. I offer my help, attention, or talents where I am needed—lending a hand to a neighbor, sharing my time or treasure, or deeply listening to family members and friends with kindness and compassion.

You shall love your neighbor as yourself.—Mark 12:31

Let Go Let God be Free

The Freedom I Seek is Already Mine.

Looking back on my life, I may remember times of sickness and health, conflict and joy, need and abundance. During challenging periods, I may have felt my freedom was constricted. The key to my freedom lies in the lens through which I view my life. I can shift my thoughts away from life’s transient rhythms and align with the divine light I carry within, seeing the world through the eyes of unlimited potential. I find opportunities for gratitude in every situation. I count my blessings and celebrate my accomplishments. I see the potential for growth in every challenge, and I take time to connect every day with my own unlimited nature. The light of God within reminds me every day that I am free!

So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.—John 8:36

Let Go Let God all is in Divine Order

My Life is in Divine Order.

As a child, I may have helped an older family member sew from a pattern, build a model from a set of instructions, or cook from a recipe. I also learned how flora and fauna develop, such as the way a tree grows from a small seed or a baby animal matures. I, too, grew from a pattern of spiritual perfection. My life has at its foundation a pattern of order along with qualities such as joy, peace, love, understanding, and wisdom. My growth is ongoing as I seek opportunities to express my divine gifts. I am made in the image and likeness of God, with goodness as the foundation of my being. I move forward, poised and ready to share the authentic spiritual expression that is me.

For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.—Ephesians 2:10

Let Go Let God Break Through

I Break Through from the Illusion of Limitation.

My spiritual development is a journey of discovery. Through the years, I have grown in insight and understanding, sometimes slowly, other times rapidly. I am always changing, always growing into my potential as a spiritual being, but sometimes it can feel as if I’m not making much progress. I remember that even though I may not have been aware of my growth as it was happening, my development has been ongoing. But there are also times when I have sudden inspiration or clarity. Like a butterfly emerging from a chrysalis and spreading its colorful wings for the first time, I am utterly transformed by new understanding. The world feels new and exciting. I greet it with enthusiasm and feel reborn.

Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord has risen upon you.—Isaiah 60:1

Let Go Let God Live in Prosperity

My Prosperous Attitude Blesses My Life.

I live and thrive in abundant prosperity. Every breath I take fills me with an awareness of abundance. I greet each day with gratitude for the many possibilities that await me. As I begin each day, I expect good, look for good, and find good in my life. That good multiplies with my appreciation. As I stay focused on thoughts of prosperity, I feel grateful for divine ideas, helpful people, and serendipitous circumstances. I am confident and rich in the awareness that God is in me and expresses as me. I accept my good with gratitude. To stay in the flow of gratitude, I may provide a helping hand or speak a kind word to another. I look for the perfect occasion to perform an act of kindness or thoughtfulness. I am richly blessed as I seek to bless others.

But their delight is in the law of the Lord … In all that they do, they prosper.—Psalm 1:2-3

Let Go Let God Know Healing

One with the Life of God within, I Claim Wholeness.

I am one with God, one with the spirit of intelligent divine life flowing through my body. This knowledge anchors my faith and fortifies my resolve if I am experiencing a health challenge. Rather than let discouragement or worry affect my thoughts and feelings, I focus on the truth of my being: I am created in the image of wholeness and life. I speak words of Truth to turn any negative thought into an affirmation of life, strength, and faith. By continually affirming the good around me, I keep my thoughts and feelings positive. My thoughts contribute to the healing of my mind and body, and I can more easily surrender any concerns about my health and let divine life within me do its healing work.

Your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit within you.—1 Corinthians 6:19

Let Go Let God Appreciate

I Am Grateful for the Good in my Life.

Today I take time to appreciate the abundance that surrounds me. I notice the beauty of the natural world, the talent and dedication behind the music and art I enjoy, and the skill and commitment of the people who work to maintain a safe and orderly world. The more I focus my attention on everything I have to appreciate in my life, the more I notice even more blessings. I am eager to share the gift of appreciation, so I give my full attention to someone I care about as we share a meal or a favorite activity, or simply a quiet moment together. Feeling grateful for my life’s blessings, I feel renewed appreciation for the love and beauty that enriches my life.

Then turning to the disciples, Jesus said to them privately, “Blessed are the eyes that see what you see!”—Luke 10:23

Let Go Let God Grow in Awareness

I Grow in Spiritual Awareness.

I am part of an infinite circle of spiritual light that illuminates the world. Knowing that I am one with God bolsters my faith and deepens my understanding of the great power and presence within me. During times of quiet contemplation, I touch this timeless Truth and feel my mind, body, and soul shimmer with light. This awareness of my divine identity remains with me throughout the day, lifting my mood, invigorating my steps, and opening my heart to everyone I meet in the spirit of friendship and love. My sacred moments of prayer deepen my awareness of my spiritual connection with all beings. I see each one expressing their divinity uniquely. This realization lifts me to new heights of spiritual awareness.

Believe in the light, so that you may become children of light.—John 12:36

Let Go Let God in Harmony

I Live in Harmony with All Things.

Everything on this earth is an individual expression of God with its own melody. Each melody creates a unique song that is beautiful on its own. But only when all things come together in concert—the plants, animals, water, air, and land—are we able to experience the true majesty of the world. Every organism, no matter how small or seemingly insignificant, contributes to the world and helps create the exquisite symphony of a dynamic ecosystem. Knowing I am but one voice in a vast and varied chorus, I choose to live in harmony with the systems and processes of our earth. I embrace and support a healthy, thriving planet by honoring and caring for the earth, and my life resonates at the frequency of Source energy.

Let us then pursue what makes for peace and for mutual upbuilding.—Romans 14:19

Let Go Let God Nurture

I Celebrate My Divine Nature and Nurture My Very Being.

Myrtle Fillmore brought a practical yet compassionate approach to life’s challenges, during which she encouraged those who sought her counsel to rely upon their spiritual capacities to empower themselves. “Get busy by using the Truth you know,” she wrote. “Bring forth your own joyous world of love, friendship, beauty, and plenty … There is within you the God-given intelligence to build such a world.” I create a nurturing environment—a place of beauty, peace, health, and happiness—by trusting the power and presence of God within. Divine light guides me as I consciously connect with my divine nature to nurture my mind, body, and spirit.

Ground that drinks up the rain falling on it repeatedly, and that produces a crop useful to those for whom it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God.—Hebrews 6:7

Let Go Let God With Joy

Joy Lifts Me Up.

I am invigorated by a feeling of happiness deep within me. My heart is buoyant as I am lifted into the flow of joy. When I live in a state of joy, I realize that all my needs are met and my supply is abundant. As I release all of my burdens from the past and concerns about the future, I am set free to flow in a living current of joyful expression. The flowing spirit of joy is my absolute delight that I cannot wait to share. My newfound energy enlivens me and centers me in a deep awareness of well-being. The joy in my heart overflows, and I make time during this day to share my joy with everyone I meet through acts of service and other considerate and thoughtful gestures. I immerse myself in the living presence of joy.

Everlasting joy shall be upon their heads; they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.—Isaiah 35:10

Let Go Let God Become Calm

Centered in Spirit, I am Calm and Relaxed.

A windstorm near a peaceful lake can roil the water, turning it cloudy as the sediment below is stirred up. After the storm, the surface settles and the water clears. Worry can be like a storm that roils my mind, and anxiety can keep me rooted in fear instead of grounding me in calm and trust. If my mind feels overwhelmed by swirling winds of thoughts and emotions, I remember my spiritual identity and become calm and relaxed. I repeat “Peace, be still” and enter the sanctuary of my heart. Feelings of peace and calm pervade my inner world. Fears and worries dissipate and my mind clears, leaving me open and prepared for whatever my life may bring.

You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”—Psalm 91:1-2

Let Go Let God Honor Truth

I Speak, Honor, and Celebrate My Truth.

I have a truth within me that is uniquely mine. Exploring my spiritual nature, I discern that I am an expression of God: wise, whole, loving, and free. Delving deeper into my attitudes and beliefs, I discover the ideals I hold true and most dear to my heart: kindness and compassion, generosity, and honesty. Every day I have opportunities to speak and act with integrity. As I express who I am, what I believe, and what I stand for, I shine the light of Truth from my being outward. Realizing that expressing individuality is each person’s right, I choose to listen to others with respect and honor their truths. I have the courage to be who I am and the willingness to accept others as they are. Each of us has the power to honor the truth of others.

The word of the Lord in your mouth is truth.—1 Kings 17:24

Let Go Let God with Compassion

I Am Kind and Compassionate.

Seeking to grow in compassion, I look to the example of Jesus. Gospel stories give many examples of Jesus showing compassion by demonstrating keen awareness of the needs and feelings of friends and strangers alike. I remember learning that Jesus did not turn away from social outcasts; he healed them and shared meals with them. His compassion fed a multitude and restored wine to a wedding reception. Upon learning that his dear friend had died, Jesus wept. Even when his disciples deserted him as he was crucified, Jesus asked God to forgive them. As I desire to grow in compassion, I know that my kind words and even simply my loving presence provide comfort. I listen deeply with my heart as well as with my ears.

Let each of you look not to your own interests, but to the interests of others.–Philippians 2:4

Let Go Let God on the Journey

I am Thankful for my Life's Journey.

When taking a vacation or going on a trip, I begin with a destination in mind. I may take the quickest route, or I may relax and see the sights along the way. The journey of life is where my true growth and learning happens. The road has not always been smooth, and I haven’t always pursued the fastest or easiest course, yet it brought me to where I am today. As I reflect on my life, I realize that sometimes I missed what was valuable by focusing only on goals. I see things differently now. I consciously choose to appreciate the sights, the people, the blessings, and even the challenges on my path. Each one helps me live my life in a fuller and more caring, wakeful, and mindful way. I am truly thankful for my life’s journey.

The Lord has made my journey successful.—Genesis 24:56
