Let Go Let God Unfold

As I grow in understanding, I open myself to receive more of God’s blessings.

When a plant blooms, it takes in the energy of the sunlight, the oxygen from the air, and the nourishment of water. Slowly, the furled petals of blooms unfold, revealing the face of the flower. I, too, am like that flower unfolding. As I mature into my spiritual development, I receive blessings available to me as a divinely created being. So I prioritize my spiritual growth by devoting time and energy to God. Spiritual texts and other resources help me to learn and deepen my understanding of faith-based teachings. I bring what I have learned into my life through my thoughts, words, and actions. I create daily practices that support my further seeking of God. As I grow and allow more of God’s light into my life, my true self is further revealed.
May you be made strong with all the strength that comes from his glorious power.—Colossians 1:11

Let Go Let God through Comfort

I am the Christ Light in expression; nothing can disturb the calm peace of my soul.

The teachings of Jesus are eternal Truths that help me along life’s path. So am I living my life according to his example? I find reassurance in the knowledge that I share the same sacred qualities—the Christ Mind. I achieve an elevated spiritual awareness when I embrace my own divinity—the “I AM” presence of God within me. Inspired by Jesus, my Way Shower, I am comforted and I bring comfort to others. Soon my life will reflect the calming peace of Spirit in all that I say, think, feel, and do. Comforting thoughts resonate throughout my being. My soul rejoices as peace and comfort transcend all emotions. I am the Christ Light in expression.
I pray that, according to the riches of his glory, he may grant that you may be strengthened in your inner being with power through his Spirit.—Ephesians 3:16

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

I live from the truth of my being. I am whole, strong, and well.

I was born in the image and likeness of the Great Creator. As such, perfect health is my divine inheritance as a child of God. I recall the story of the woman who touched the fringe of Jesus’ garment and was immediately healed. He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well.” Like this woman, my faith enlivens and strengthens me. I reach within and touch God through prayer. I affirm the truth of my body’s natural healing ability and envision the radiating light of God working in me now to establish the highest manifestation of my physical being. Every cell is infused with life-creating properties. I am renewed and revitalized from head to toe. My heart overflows with gratitude for the gift of health and wholeness.
He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace.”—Luke 8:48

Let Go Let God all is in Divine Order

I am grateful for the guidance of Spirit.

Nature reflects perfect order. The sun rises and sets. Tides ebb and flow. Migratory birds flock as if on cue. There is perfect order in my life as well. While it may not be as obvious as the movement of nature, I can be certain that it is always there. Order may come in the form of new opportunities that present themselves. Perhaps a thought comes to mind that leads to a better solution or a perfectly timed encounter. If I ever feel doubtful or anxious, I affirm: divine order. This statement of faith gives me confidence and reassures me that divine order is at work in every situation, whether I see evidence of it or not. Divine order moves through me and energizes me.

But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits.—James 3:17

Let Go Let God with Joy

The joy of God fills my heart.

Because I am rooted in the eternal reality of God, nothing can ever diminish my joy. I know that this shining inner presence can never be taken away. Joy finds a home in my heart and radiates from deep within me, shining round about me, reaching out to brighten and bless every corner of my life. Any rough patches I may experience on the pathway of life are smoothed by the joy of God that fills my heart. My capacity for joy is unlimited, so I freely share it with others. As I give it away in the form of a smile, a good word, or a kind deed, my supply is immediately replenished by my Divine Source. My joy is free to express in the world to benefit all.
For the kingdom of God is not food and drink but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.—Romans 14:17

Let Go Let God be Protected

I am safe and protected in the light of God.

Being alone in the dark is a common childhood fear. The active imagination of a child creates monsters hiding in the shadows. When a parent turns on the light, the shadows disappear to reveal the reality—that the creature was merely clothing or furniture. There may be times in my life when I feel a fear of the unknown or unseen. My imagination may get caught up in the illusions of the world. During those times I need to remember that I am a child of God, protected by spiritual illumination. I focus on God’s presence in my life, centering myself within, anchoring myself with faith. Doing so I am able to turn my attention from external fear to internal guidance. I am safe and protected in the light of God.
For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.—Psalm 91:11

Let Go Let God in World Peace

I envision a world where peace resides in every heart.

Amid turbulent world affairs, the goal of world peace can feel lost—as if peace were as fleeting as a feather caught in a mighty wind burst. I recognize, however, that despite appearances, this is not the Truth. In reality, there is only One Power and One Presence in the universe—God. When I rest in the awareness of this Truth, I remember that, with Spirit, global peace is possible. So I attune to the infinite peace and power of God ever radiating from the center of my being, willingly serving as a beacon to enlighten the world. With steadfast faith, I stand for oneness, love, and harmony. As I do so, I inspire others to do the same. Together in Spirit, I join with all people to bring perfect peace to this world.
The darkness is passing away and the true light is already shining.—1 John 2:8

Let Go Let God Create

I use the power of my God-directed mind to create.

The amazing power of my imagination is possible because I have been given a gift from Spirit. Author Steven Covey shared the idea that all things are created twice—first mentally, then physically. If I can dream it or perceive of it, I can do it. Thus I envision a creation or an outcome, then take action to bring it into reality. Every problem has a solution, and every goal contains a way to achieve it. So I prepare for positive results. I use my creative mind, allowing Spirit to guide my next steps. I trust that I will have all that I need in the right and perfect time. I begin in absolute faith and positive anticipation. I find purpose and joy as I use the power of my God-directed mind.
For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.—Ephesians 2:10

Let Go Let God Achieve

I answer the call of God to do my best and be my best in all situations.

What I desire to do and be is not beyond my ability to achieve. Self-doubt may arise if I concentrate on my perceived flaws or limitations. Yet if I don’t try, I will never know what I am capable of achieving. Perhaps there is a calling I am eager to follow but can’t seem to take that first step toward it. When I am focused and principled, I know when an urging from within my soul is leading me right. I have the courage to do my best. I am willing to learn as I go. I work and serve from the integrity of knowing I am a creation of God, capable of both ordinary and extraordinary accomplishments. This is the hour, this is the day. I answer the call of God to do my best and be my best in all situations.

May integrity and uprightness preserve me, for I wait for you.—Psalm 25:21

Let Go Let God

I let go and let God.

I am empowered when I speak or meditate on a God-centered truth and then rely on the all-omnipresence of God to work through me. I am united in spirit, mind, and body to achieve or overcome whatever I face. I feel tension flowing from me as I acknowledge that Spirit is within me and everywhere present around me. I move from feeling stressed to embracing a sense of calm. Now I can think clearly. Turning within brought an awareness that, in any situation, I am not alone. I let go of the struggle. I not only know what to do, I also claim what is mine to do. I breathe deeply and relax into the realization that an entire plan may not be revealed to me all at once. Life is a process, and I am progressing, day by day.
The Lord is near to all who call on him, to all who call on him in truth.—Psalm 145:18

Let Go Let God in Faith

I open my mind and heart in faith.

How do I overcome feelings of uncertainty? Having faith means focusing my mind and heart to God to open the way for new possibilities. So what can I do right now to ensure that door is open? I can rest in the moment in prayer and meditation. I slowly extend my hands and feel energy tingling through to my fingertips. Now I focus on my heart. Beat by beat, my pulse stays in rhythm with the goodness of God that flows through me now. My limited perspective gives way to new, inspired ideas. I picture my God-thoughts as pinpoints of light, gently floating into my consciousness then bursting forth with vibrant, rich energy. As I do, I become receptive. The door to new possibilities is open.
Let us approach with a true heart in full assurance of faith.—Hebrews 10:22

Let Go Let God as a World United

I envision all people coming together in unity.

John Lennon’s song, “Imagine,” shares these inspirational words: “Imagine all the people living life in peace.” With the power of my imagination, I visualize people throughout the world coming together in unity. I pray for peace among all people and for creative solutions to seemingly difficult situations. I support efforts to bring people to mutual understandings. I speak words of kindness and act respectfully toward others whose views may not align with my own. If I encounter chaos or unrest, I respond calmly as I display my prayerful peace of mind. Through my prayers and actions, I help to create a world where all people come together in unity.
The effect of righteousness will be peace, and the result of righteousness, quietness and trust forever.—Isaiah 32:17

Let Go Let God with Inner Peace

I connect with Spirit and peace fills my heart.

The Christ Presence within me is my greatest source of inner peace. When I pause, even for a few moments, and devote my attention to silent communion, my cares begin to subside, and tensions fall away. When I become still—keeping my mind from racing and my body from hurrying—peace has the opportunity to settle around me. Calm assurance envelopes me. I find true peace when I turn within. There, in the stillness of sweet Spirit, I enter the Silence and rest in the presence of profound love.

My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.—Exodus 33:14

Let Go Let God Forgive

I am liberated from the past and ready for a new beginning.

I enrich the quality of my relationships when I am willing to forgive—not only others but also myself. When I stop revisiting the past, I achieve a blessed freedom of mind and spirit. Releasing the resentments and discouraging memories opens the way for new experiences. Like the free-flowing stream that brings an ever-renewing supply of fresh water, the act of release clears the way with a fresh inflow of energy. As I think, speak, and act from the Christ of my being, I can and do forgive. The Christ Spirit strengthens me to move past hurt and disappointment and on to living life fully. I forgive myself and all those involved. I am a new person with a fresh, positive outlook.
So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!—2 Corinthians 5:17

Let Go Let God as a Spiritual Being

I am a spiritual being, gifted with unlimited power and potential.

At all times I can feel centered and in charge of my life when I remember to utilize the spiritual abilities that I already possess. These sacred gifts—expressions of divine life within—are available to me simply because I am a child of God. I use my powers of faith and strength to face and overcome difficult situations. I use my powers of love and understanding as I pray for myself and others. I use my powers of wisdom and guidance when I question my life’s direction. I am a spiritual being, gifted with unlimited power and potential.

When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child; when I became an adult, I put an end to childish ways. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then we will see face to face.—1 Corinthians 13:11-12

Let Go Let God Dream

I am divinely inspired as I pursue my goals and dreams.

When Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. spoke the words, “I have a dream,” he opened a dialogue, encouraging us to live in harmony with one another. His dream was a powerful one, and he followed that vision with dedication and faith. For any dream to be fulfilled, there must be action taken. I cannot hope that the Universe will transpire to bring about my goals. I must act, pursue, and above all else, live in faith-filled awareness. I am dedicated and purposeful toward achieving my goal. When I include God in my pursuit of dreams, I can be assured that I am guided to the people, places, and circumstances that ensure success.

But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act—they will be blessed in their doing.—James 1:25

Let Go Let God Surrender

New discoveries await when I listen to the Divine and move out of my comfort zone.

A boat in dry dock will never experience the waters it was built to sail upon. Likewise, I must release myself from the shores of limitation in order to fully experience the life God created for me to live. The waters of my life ahead may range from turbulent and uncharted to safe harbors of stillness. How will I know unless I let go of the shore? I begin by inquiring within. Are there instances when I am clinging to the comfortable and safe rather than moving forward? I will know when it’s time to cast off when remaining anchored to the shore becomes less comfortable than launching into the unknown. I let go and, in the words of the Karen Drucker song, “Let Go of the Shore,” I “float into the mystery.”
Put out into the deep water and let down your nets for a catch.—Luke 5:4

Let Go Let God as Family

Our expanded concept of family includes all people.

The people we call family are united by birth, like minds, or spiritual connectivity. No matter how we define and develop our family unit, we can expand our vision. We are all children of God, linked in spiritual oneness with each other and kindred souls regardless of our cultural or perceived differences. As with immediate and extended family, we may not always see eye to eye or connect heart to heart. During those times, let’s remember that those who may be the hardest to relate to as family could very well be the people needing our compassion and prayers the most. Together we are members of a divinely created, universal family.
As God said, “I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”—2 Corinthians 6:16

Let Go Let God Be Free

I honor and celebrate my freedom.

Every day is an independence day for me when I consider my spiritual freedom. Despite whatever human constraints are put upon my actions, I am free to think my own thoughts, creating and visualizing new ideas. I remain open to divine guidance, trusting and following my intuition. Events from the past may linger, creating emotional barriers that prevent me from fully letting go and moving on. It’s up to me to bless the past as a learning experience. It’s my choice to let go, so I do. I am ready, willing, and able to make courageous and mindful choices, moving forward with peace of mind and positive intentions. I thank God every day for the spiritual freedom with which I have been blessed.
You will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.—John 8:32

Let Go Let God as the Power Within

My inner strength is greater than any outer appearances.

I am connected within to the spirit of God. Wherever I go, whatever I do, I am divinely uplifted. I may look back on my life and find times when I felt insignificant or lacking confidence. Still, I take to heart the energy available to all things, even something as simple as water. Once harnessed and directed, water becomes the dynamic force in a steam turbine. Those same molecules, when influenced by cold, become ice with the power to crack concrete and topple trees. When I discover and harness my power within, I have the potential to make a mighty difference in my life and in the world. I place my attention on Spirit. With faith, I can overcome any circumstance: My inner strength is greater than any outer appearances.

I will put my Spirit within you.—Ezekiel 36:27

Let Go Let God through Guidance

I am guided to new and fulfilling discoveries.

Through the years, I receive guidance from family, teachers, mentors, and more. There is also a deeper guidance that fills me with strength and peace—one that leads me to new and fulfilling discoveries—the direction I receive from Spirit within. If I’m uncertain about how to proceed with a difficult decision, or if I feel uneasy or confused, I turn within and pray. During these prayerful moments with God, I receive the assurance that I am never alone, that I am always supported and guided by the One Presence that is available to me at any given moment. Spirit is greater than any concern I may have. By turning within for this divine guidance, I have the assurance that I am following the path that is right for me.
But truly it is the spirit in a mortal, the breath of the Almighty, that makes for understanding.—Job 32:8

Let Go Let God as a Pet Blessing

I bless all pets, giving thanks for their love and companionship.

Pets come in many shapes, sizes, and personalities. I cherish the diversity of the animal kingdom, and I give thanks for all pets—past and present—who have blessed my life with their unconditional love. Animal companions are also healers and teachers. Whether a child’s pet hamster, a service animal trained to assist someone with a disability, or a therapy pet visiting senior citizens, pets demonstrate amazing loyalty and devotion. Caring for and nurturing these creations of God is a sacred responsibility. I pray that every pet has or finds a home with caring and loving people. Companion or helper, I give thanks for the sacred role that pets serve in the world.
But ask the animals, and they will teach you; the birds of the air, and they will tell you.—Job 12:7

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

My prayers for others lift me to a higher level of awareness.

Praying for others is a noble act that benefits my own well-being. When I speak powerful, affirmative words of truth for someone else, my thoughts are also lifted to a higher plane of awareness. United in affirmative prayer, I feel a heightened sense of the Christ Presence within and between us. We commune in the powerful presence of the Christ Consciousness. Jesus affirmed this conscious presence when he said, “Wherever two or three are gathered in my name, I am there in the midst of them.” I give thanks for every sacred opportunity to pray with others. As I do so, I am lifted to a higher level.

When they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God with boldness.—Acts 4:31

Let Go Let God Attract Prosperity

My positive thoughts attract abundant blessings.

Behind everything physical in the world lies the unseen substance of Spirit. Although material things come and go, the flow of God’s abundance can never run out. If appearances seem to indicate lack in my life, I remind myself that God is the unseen source and substance of everything that exists. I make a conscious effort to appreciate what I have. By creating these positive thoughts of gratitude, I will attract abundant blessings in return. These thoughts lift my consciousness to a higher ground. From there I place myself in the flow of abundance by giving or tithing from my prosperity consciousness. I have faith in God as my ultimate source, knowing that my positive thoughts attract abundant blessings.
See if I will not open the windows of heaven for you and pour down for you an overflowing blessing.—Malachi 3:10

Let Go Let God with Patience

God’s presence keeps me calm and patient at all times.

How do I react to delays that keep me from accomplishing my goals? Experience tells me that getting irritated or impatient will not change the circumstances. A slow line will not move quicker by frowning. Traffic does not clear because I show frustration. What I can do, however, is visualize right outcomes for myself and others. If I am delayed, I use that time to center my thoughts and to give thanks for God’s presence within. I practice slow, easy breathing while affirming: I am peaceful. I am calm. Being patient today is an investment in peace for tomorrow. I refrain from being reactionary and saying or doing something I may regret later. As I hold thoughts of peace for others, I benefit from being patient and calm.

As a deer longs for flowing streams, so my soul longs for you, O God.—Psalm 42:1

Let Go Let God as the Epiphany

With joy of heart, I awaken anew to the divine power within me.

Today is Epiphany, an observance of the Magi’s visit to the manger. The Magi were the first people who saw the newborn child for the pure expression of divine love. Just as the Magi sought the Christ child, I seek to know the magnificence of the Divine within me. When I love and forgive others, I draw upon the unconditional love of my true nature. I give generously to those around me, and I discover the abundant substance of Spirit readily available. Humble and still, I awaken anew to the divine power within me. There is no greater epiphany than to know myself as an expression of the Divine. Claiming all that is revealed to me as a child of God, I am filled with joy.
You have made known to me the ways of life; you will make me full of gladness with your presence.—Acts 2:28

Let Go Let God with Wisdom

With God, I walk a path of wisdom.

Wisdom is more than being well-versed in facts or figures. It is the highest level of spiritual knowing—a discernment that helps me see the larger picture in a situation and apply spiritual teachings to it. With wisdom, I am able to walk in another’s shoes and see the many facets of a dilemma or concern—a 360-degree view. Jesus was wisdom in action. He taught us how to see people as children of God and to view situations as opportunities to seek truth from our Divine Source. He did not discriminate. Instead, he loved all people, all beings, and taught that we are one. Remembering this, I do what I can to make situations better and to bring people together in love and harmony. I walk a path of wisdom.
Teach me your way, O Lord, that I may walk in your truth.—Psalm 86:11

Let Go Let God Be Diverse

I am grateful for my uniqueness.

Grains of sand on a beach look the same to the naked eye. Yet when magnified hundreds of times under a microscope, the grains lose their similarity. Each grain reveals itself as unique, whether it is a sliver of shell or a minuscule piece of glass or rock. Each piece has its own unique story to tell of how it came to be. The same holds true for the world’s inhabitants. Despite outer appearances, we are each unique expressions of our Master Creator. We have our own life story to share. As written in The Quest, “God exists in everything, just in unique ways. It is the Christ in each human being that is the specific thread which joins humanity into a patchwork quilt of oneness.”

The glory that you have given me I have given them, so that they may be one, as we are one.—John 17:22

Let Go Let God Fulfill Intentions

Divine nature allows us to fulfill our goals and intentions.

Typically the new year is a time to consider the goals we will attempt throughout the next 12 months. So we ask ourselves, What are my intentions? What do I hope to accomplish? Do I have time and energy to see these into fruition? Whichever goals we decide upon, we can pursue them systematically. Any journey begins with a plan or a map, so we should consider the steps we need to take to move forward purposefully. If a roadblock should appear, we can regroup and refocus, then navigate around it or adjust our course as necessary. The more we understand God’s presence in the goals-fulfillment process and how our divine nature allows us to be our best, the stronger our resolve and success rate will be.

When you walk, your step will not be hampered; and if you run, you will not stumble.—Proverbs 4:12

Let Go Let God Have Enough

I have time enough, wisdom enough, and energy enough to do all that is mine to do.

Life is both an adventure and a journey. How comforting it is to know that everything I need along the way is lovingly provided. Giving thanks that God is my unlimited source of good, I affirm: I have enough. Every day I have goals to accomplish, things to do, large and small. No matter what my smallest task is or the highest goal I aspire to, I keep my attitude positive, especially when my plate seems full. If I feel so rushed that I’m unable to relax and connect with family and friends, I affirm: I have time enough. When contemplating solutions or ideas, I affirm: I have wisdom enough. If I want a new sense of strength and vitality, I affirm: I have energy enough. God is my source. I have enough.

Consider the lilies, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin.—Luke 12:27

Let Go Let God this New Year

The life of God within reassures me that new adventures await.

With a new year comes new beginnings. As I bid last year goodbye, I greet today with an air of anticipation. This new year holds the promise of a new dawn, an adventure waiting to be fulfilled. Prayer is a powerful resource on my journey, and every thought of God is a prayer. So I keep myself centered on divine life within. There, faith encourages me to believe that all things are possible. This new year holds within it the promise of love, joy, health, prosperity, harmony, and so much more. With gratitude, I recognize and give thanks for the many blessings in my life—those received and those coming my way. I live in confidence because the life of God within reassures me that new adventures await.
Be renewed in the spirit of your minds.—Ephesians 4:23
