Let Go Let God with Courage

I am courageous!

When I think of courage, my first thought is of the brave men and women who serve my community and my country. I honor and bless these people for their inner strength and power to rise above fear to display amazing courage. My faith connects me with my divine powers within. Knowing this, I instantly call upon my inner wisdom and strength in times of challenge. Fear is a human reaction to the unknown, so if I feel unsure of my future or my current situation, I call upon my spiritual powers to master my thoughts and feelings. Whether I am standing up quietly for a deeply held belief, being a strong role model for family or community, or standing strong in faith through a personal challenge, I am strong. I am courageous!

Be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid or dismayed.—1 Chronicles 22:13

Let Go Let God through Affirmative Prayer

I pray, affirming only good.

Affirmative prayer is a declaration that is the truth about God’s creative and restorative power active within all people and situations. My prayer can be an affirmative thought in silence or whispered words. I express health and wholeness in mind and body when I affirm: I am a healthy and whole creation of God. I convey prosperity when I affirm: My every need is abundantly fulfilled by the movement of God’s spirit throughout the universe. I receive and express good that is for all to enjoy and pass along. What is true for me is true for all others. As I pray for them, I affirm their health and prosperity. When I pray affirming only good, I am saying yes to divine gifts in all the ways they will manifest.

Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things.—Jeremiah 33:3

Let Go, Let God

I let go and let God be God in me.

There is one power and one presence in the universe and within me—God the good. As I hold this truth in heart and contemplate its many meanings for me, I think about the power of God within. I am lifted in spirit above any negative or worry thought, knowing I have divine power to accomplish any goal, to do whatever is mine to do. Divine peace is at the core of my being and sustains my sense of balance and well-being. In any difficulty I may face, I affirm: I let go and let God be God in me. In this act of letting go, I attune to my divine nature and allow full expression of my potential. In releasing that which no longer serves me, I create a space for new blessings to fill my life. I open to greater good.

I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts.—Jeremiah 31:33

Let Go Let God in the Moment

I am grateful for the gifts within each moment.

Every moment exudes infinite possibility, and I am grateful for the gifts each moment offers in my life today. Still, it is not always easy to remember the power of possibilities that lie within every moment as distractions claim my attention. Retreating from the external by turning within, I center my awareness in God and my divine identity. I anchor myself in the now moment, appreciative of its power and open to its gifts. It is by tuning in to this moment that I feel the light and love of infinite Spirit. Acknowledging that the source of all I need is within and all around me, I relax into the peace of each powerful moment. I joyfully affirm: I am grateful for the gifts within each moment.

See, now is the acceptable time; see, now is the day of salvation!—2 Corinthians 6:2

Let Go Let God Reflect

I reflect the light of the Christ to others.

A mirror reflects my image, and I use it to make sure I look the way I want. So, too, the things I say, think, and do, reflect who I am and what I believe. People with whom I connect tend to reflect my belief system. I may comment on the beauty of the day, for instance, or share encouraging words with others. An upbeat attitude is then reflected to me! The positive energy I project into the world has a way of returning to me multiplied. I also take time daily to go within to the Christ of my being, seeking to express that light and love. I look for the Christ in all people and do my best to reflect that light their way.

And all of us, with unveiled faces, seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.—2 Corinthians 3:18

Let Go Let God in Thoughtful Ways

I use my mind in creative and thoughtful ways.

I choose to be compassionate as I attune to the circumstances and feelings of others. My thoughtfulness may take the form of a kind word or gesture. It may demonstrate as a wholehearted acceptance of another person. I feel an affinity with others as I open my heart to them. In truth, we have much in common. We are all spiritual beings, together as humans on this earth at this time. We are together in our life adventure. I do not forget myself in this process. My thoughtfulness may be inward-looking as well. I open to divine mind and feel the presence of God at the heart of any decisions I make and any endeavors I undertake. Through the power of the Divine, I create my future by using my mind in creative and thoughtful ways.

It is out of the abundance of the heart that the mouth speaks.—Luke 6:45

Let Go Let God be Free

I am free in every area of my life.

Daily I find myself focused on the outer world—obligations to attend to, schedules to maintain, goals to fulfill. Doing so may cause me to feel anxious or torn between what I have to do versus what I want to do. In these moments, I make a conscious choice to surrender my life, my agenda, to Spirit within. As I do, I experience freedom of spirit, an inner peace that flows within me, freeing me from worry or concern at that moment. The more I surrender myself into the Divine, the more peaceful my life becomes. As I develop a more mindful focus—one attuned to God in every moment—I am free in every area of my life. I feel blessed and empowered, ready to meet each day.

It was he who created humankind in the beginning, and he left them in the power of their own free choice.—Sirach 15:14

Let Go Let God in Good Fortune

My life overflows with blessings.

I begin this day with thoughts of gratitude for the many ways I have experienced harmony in my life in the form of good fortune. Even seemingly simple events can lead to better-than-expected outcomes. While these things may seem coincidental, I am confident there is a higher power at play in my life. It is the spirit of God—the fountain of life, love, and harmony acting in and through my life. Tuning in to the awareness of this source, I see that all things work together for good. My gratitude practice reminds me of how my needs have been fulfilled. These memories realign me with spiritual awareness and draw ever more positive events my way. I affirm: My life overflows with blessings.

You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; you anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.—Psalm 23:5

Let Go Let God Embrace Healing

I embrace my healing with my whole heart.

My healing first finds a home in my heart and then moves out to take charge of my body, mind, and world. Rather than being a passive experience, my healing awaits my vigorous and emphatic assent. I let go into this energetic stream of vital life-giving energy. As I move with my wholeness, I know and affirm my oneness with God with unshakable faith. I joyously align with this movement in my soul and let go into my interpretation of wholeness. I say yes to healing and let it express in me, through me, and as me. As my healing flows from the sacred center of my being, I accept the beneficial changes that are happening within me and in my life. I embrace my healing with my whole heart.

Then your light shall break forth like the dawn, and your healing shall spring up quickly.—Isaiah 58:8

Let Go Let God be Joy

I am a vibration of joy.

Like everything in the universe, I am an expression of divine energy. I am a vibration of joy! A child’s delight in every new experience prompts me to view life with awe and wonder. I take time to look at each moment through eyes of positivity and gratitude. I find pleasure in the seemingly unimportant events of life as well as the momentous ones. Joy is an innate part of my being and does not depend on conditions or people or things. As I remain centered in this divine quality, I look for the good in every situation. I am enthusiastic. I enjoy life and the people in my life. I live my bliss as I attune myself to God within. I let my inner vibration of joy flow into every circumstance of my life.

Consider it nothing but joy.—James 1:2

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I am one with the loving guidance of divine mind.

Spirit expresses through all of creation as loving guidance, maintaining perfect order in all things. Today I focus and take time to gain direction in all that I do. Since my essence is of Spirit, I am one with divine mind always, and I remember that truth whenever I feel confused, conflicted, or uncertain of what my next step should be. My mortal mind is limited, relying on yesterday’s fears to make today’s decisions. I choose to move beyond any perceived limitations to the loving guidance available through the presence of divine mind within. This day unfolds before me, filled with satisfaction and joy as I feel that loving guidance with every step I take, every choice I make. I am one with the loving guidance of divine mind.

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.—Psalm 119:105

Let Go Let God Believe

As a spiritual being, my potential is unlimited!

What is my vision for myself? Do I think I am limited in some way? I am a perfect child of God and, as such, I possess everything necessary to accomplish whatever I desire. Everything that I need is within, just waiting for me to believe. What is my vision for my loved ones and friends? Do I see problems that reduce their chances of growth, thus limiting their future? They may feel this way, but I believe in them. I see beyond outer appearances to the truth that they, too, are spiritual beings. What is my vision for the country I live in, for the world? I can hold the high watch by seeing only the limitless potential for good and love in this world. I believe in the truth that we are all unlimited!

I have good advice and sound wisdom; I have insight, I have strength.—Proverbs 8:14

Let Go Let God Know Bliss

I live life fully when I claim the gift of bliss.

Being happy and content is a wonderful goal, one I may believe I can easily achieve. Bliss, however, may feel further away from the everyday. Rather than considering it an elusive state of supreme joy, the poet Emily Dickinson saw it practically when she wrote, “Find ecstasy in life; the mere sense of living is joy enough.” Or, as Dr. Christiane Northrup reminds us, “Wake up all the desire and pleasure that your body is capable of experiencing, let your past go, and follow your bliss just for the health of it.” What a gift to be alive in this time and space. I loosen my grip on my stories of past pain, I consciously choose the gift of release, and I claim my bliss!

Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.—1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

Let Go Let God all is in Divine Order

I declare divine order and trust that all is well.

I know that God’s infinite spirit is within me and within everyone for whom I pray. If I or a loved one am in need, God is always there. I may not always feel connected to the presence but all I need do is become still and turn within. The spirit of God is within just as much on “down days” as on happy days. When I close my eyes and go into the quiet, I feel God’s presence supporting me, loving me, telling me that all is in divine order. I trust that this is true even when I can’t see any evidence of it in the outer. All I have to do is be patient. Good will come. I affirm divine order for everyone on my prayer list. Their highest and best good is what I see for them. Wherever I am, wherever they are, the spirit of God is there.

The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong.—Isaiah 58:11

Let Go Let God as Inner Peace

I am energized by the peace within my soul.

As I hold a small acorn, I am awed by the creativity of God. The power within it is hidden and silent. When this miracle of life takes root in the ground, the promise of an oak tree begins to take form. Within me is the promise of growth and achievements unbound. In prayer and meditation, I connect with the peace and power within me. I unfold day by day, season by season. If I feel timid about achieving my full potential, I become quiet. As I breathe in the breath of life, I connect with the peace that energizes me. I am more than what I appear to be. Peace elevates me to greater heights of knowing what a child of God is capable of being.

But as for that in the good soil, these are the ones who, when they hear the word, hold it fast in an honest and good heart, and bear fruit with patient endurance.—Luke 8:15

Let Go Let God Find Comfort

I find the comfort I seek when I go within.

Whenever I feel uneasy, it is natural to seek comfort. Instead of trying to escape or avoid these feelings, I accept the invitation they offer—to get to the core of why I am feeling them. The bravery to take this exploration comes when I remember I am never alone. God is all there is, and I am a part of that Allness. I am living and breathing within God, and the presence of God within me gives me the strength to face anything. I take a breath. If I feel fearful or angry, I breathe and ask myself why I feel this way. Bringing my awareness into my heart, I allow love to course through my body with each heartbeat. I relax and let go of the tension that comes with resisting. I find the comfort I seek when I go within.

I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you.—Isaiah 41:10

Let Go Let God Forgive

I let go of the past and live in the now.

If I have felt slighted in some way, the most productive thing I can do is forgive. Why should I hold on to negative thoughts, feelings, or events of the past when doing so may bring me pain and discomfort? If I want to live in a spirit of freedom, then I have to free myself from the bondage of the past. I want to live freely in this present moment, so I let go of the past. Quiet moments of prayer attune me to the power of divine love within. As I still my thoughts, and center myself in the power of love, my heart space and my breath synchronize. I breathe in love. As I let this divine power guide my thoughts, I open to a new way of thinking. If painful memories surface, I do not dwell on them, but release them and let them drift away.

Jesus said to him, “Stand up, take your mat and walk.”—John 5:8

Let Go Let God Know Prosperity

I am grateful for the many ways prosperity expresses in my life.

My prospering thoughts find expression in my life in many ways. I enjoy an abundance of love, peace, health, and happiness, and I pause regularly each day to appreciate my many blessings. The same blessings express whenever I focus my creative thinking on my finances. No matter what my ego mind may insist, I know that I have nothing to fear. I am one with divine mind, and fear has no place in my consciousness. I am guided, quickly and easily, to choices that will lead to financial prosperity in my life. In quiet moments of meditation throughout the day I appreciate the ways in which my life is prospered now, and I call upon my gratitude to gently dissolve any sense of lack I may perceive.

The point is this: the one who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and the one who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.—2 Corinthians 9:6

Let Go Let God through Transformation

I let go into the transforming light of God within.

All people are yearning to awaken. Humanity reflects this as we evolve beyond out-of-date ways, moving past limitations, and into the next step in our spiritual evolution. I am in the process of spiritual awakening. My divine gifts benefit not only myself but the whole of humanity as well. I take my place in this global spiritual process of awakening and do my part. Every encounter I have with others, no matter how small, is turning the tide and transforming us all. I make a courageous choice on behalf of all of my sisters and brothers and for my soul. I awaken to the unfolding of my being and put that awareness to work in my world. I let go into the transforming light of God within.

And you shall be called by a new name that the mouth of the Lord will give.—Isaiah 62:2

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I pray knowing that divine love serves as an ever-available sense of direction.

H. Emilie Cady wrote, “If you really want your friends to be free, there is but one way for you: Loose them and let them go.” With these words I am reminded that anxieties about my loved ones do not serve them. Thinking of them as suffering from illness, addiction, or poverty holds them in mental bondage. Instead, I turn my thoughts to the spirit of God at the center of their being and see only the best in them and for them. In my prayers, I seek not to change them but to create space that I may behold their truth beyond outer appearances. I envision the light of God radiating through my loved ones. I pray affirming divine love guides them to their highest good.

I thank my God every time I remember you, constantly praying with joy in every one of my prayers for all of you.—Philippians 1:3-4

Let Go Let God Live in the Light

When I see the light I truly am, all others are illumined.

When I judge myself harshly, I may find myself being hard on others as well—an obstacle for healthy relationships. If judgmental thoughts about others come into consciousness, I ask myself, Why am I defending myself? Why am I trying to make myself right by making them wrong? I breathe and bring myself back to the present moment. I practice self-compassion by remembering I am perfect, whole, and complete, and I am a being of light, and all others are beings of light. When I see myself in the light, I see the Truth about myself. I learn to see the Truth in others. Instead of harshness between us, there is harmony and peace.

The eye is the lamp of the body. So, if your eye is healthy, your whole body will be full of light.—Matthew 6:22

Let Go Let God Trust the Mentor

The spirit of God, the essence of everything, is the source of my abundant life.

The dictionary defines a mentor as a “wise and trusted counselor or teacher.” I take time today to acknowledge the spiritual presence within me that I can always trust to be my perfect guide. I consider the people who provided direction for me. They have given of their time and talents to help me achieve my goals along the way. I appreciate the support they have given me. Through prayer and meditation, I attune myself to that still, small voice. It speaks clearly to me when I take time to listen. As I connect, I learn to trust my intuition. The answers I seek are already there for me. They are the signposts that point my way into the future. The spirit of God, the essence of everything, is the source of my abundant life.

Now listen to me. I will give you counsel, and God be with you!—Exodus 18:19

Let Go Let God be World Peace

I let peace begin with me.

How can what I say or do affect the lives of others in ways that promote peace? The truth is, everything I do in every moment of the day lays a foundation for peace. When I perceive that I’ve been wronged but choose to take a higher road, I set a stepping-stone of harmony. When I refrain from speaking careless words, I place another foothold in the pathway of peace. Every thought, word, and action paves the way and contributes to the wholeness of the world. As I think peace, I am peace. As I express understanding, I open the way for others to experience love in their lives. Person by person, act by act, I contribute to a world where nonviolence is the norm and peace is paramount. I let peace begin with me.

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.—Matthew 5:9

Let Go Let God with Faith

With faithful patience I allow my good to unfold.

Faith is an attitude of expectancy as I trust the positive thoughts and ideas of Spirit to take root and grow. I make prayer and meditation a part of my routine, and I act upon the guidance that comes to me. I remain aware of the distracting power of fear and doubt and do not allow these thoughts to rule in my consciousness. If it appears that nothing is happening, I remind myself that patience is also an aspect of faith. The orchard grower does not destroy the tree that does not bear fruit the first season but patiently tends the tree to mature fruitfulness. I nurture my spiritual practice with gratitude for the many blessings I receive. Releasing the belief that I must know the shape my good takes or when it arrives, I allow my good to unfold.

But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience.—Romans 8:25

Let Go Let God Rejoice

I rejoice in unlimited possibilities.

The apostle Paul describes himself in his second letter to the Corinthians “as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing.” He calls upon his followers in Philippi to “rejoice in the Lord always.” By recognizing and thinking about the positive, the lovely, the excellent, and the praiseworthy energies in my life, I claim them and increase them. I rejoice when I both feel and express the joy of eternal Spirit. There is energy in the infinite good that brings all people together in consciousness. I join with others in knowing and affirming that nothing is denied us through faith. I keep my focus on positive energies, bringing them into greater expression in my life. I rejoice in unlimited possibilities.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, Rejoice.—Philippians 4:4

Let Go Let God as Serenity

I live in serenity from my Christ center.

There is a difference between a gentle float trip down a river and an invigorating workout to paddle upstream through a strong current. If I desire relaxation, downstream is the choice of least resistance. Choosing serenity calls for me to let go of trying to change things by acting only through my human self. I rise above any situation and live from my Christ center as I let things work out. I know what actions to take, what course changes to make, and when to stop and rest. If I catch myself tensing my shoulders or clenching my jaw, I take it as a sign to relax and to let go. I picture that gentle stream, take some deep breaths, and rest in the tranquility for a while.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.—Matthew 11:29

Let Go Let God in Collaboration

I am an advocate for peace and harmony.

All people are children of God and our commonalities outnumber our differences. I hold this thought anytime I am called to collaborate with others, whether in work, social, or family settings. I see everyone as worthy of my respect, even if we have differing views or opinions. I look for common ground, for ideas that we can share and ways that we can work together. I am open-minded and nonresistant. I am a good listener who values all opinions and ideas. If I sense resistance, I stop for a God moment in which I close my eyes, breathe deeply, and focus on common ground. I pray for understanding and compassion and see myself as an advocate and moderator, working with others in peace and harmony.

For we are God’s servants, working together; you are God’s field, God’s building.—1 Corinthians 3:9

Let Go Let God be Unlimited

I am unlimited.

If I feel stuck in some aspect of my life, such as a relationship, finances, or a dead-end job, I remind myself that I am unlimited. As a popular teaching shares: Change your thinking, change your life. Blocked thoughts and negative emotions produce discordant energy within me. This discord reminds me to explore within myself to see if there is anything that needs to be unblocked. I pause and turn within, prayerfully declaring: I am unlimited. Embodying this truth, I take a higher perspective and my mind and heart are renewed. Living from spiritual truth supports me in experiencing greater flow and ease in every aspect of my life. I am grateful that my true nature is free and unlimited!

For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.—Galatians 5:1

Let Go Let God through Well-Being

I am centered in wholeness and contentment, and all is well with my soul.

I am aware of the presence of God in and around me as love, healing, and harmonizing energy. Living from this foundation of spiritual awareness, I experience well-being, even in the midst of challenges. Human problems do not rob me from relying on Spirit, from knowing my soul is always in the form of divine perfection just as it was created. Similar to reminding myself that the sun is always shining above the clouds even on the stormiest days, I affirm: All is well with my soul. I relax and feel at peace. When I pray, I hold a picture in mind of good health and well-being. I remain centered on the good I desire, on wholeness, contentment, love, and joy.

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.–3 John 1:2

Let Go Let God as a Helping Hand

I am here to do the work of Spirit.

Jesus gave and received in balance. He enjoyed the generous hospitality of some as he ministered to others. I, too, have such a balance in my life. At times I may receive a helping hand, while at other times I may be the hand of support for those in need of shelter, rest, or support. God is the source of all good and I am a channel for the flow of that good in the material world. I give thanks for the many hands and hearts that supply my material needs. I stay attuned to Spirit’s work presented as tasks for me to do in the world. Reading to someone, serving in a kitchen, or donating clothes, I give my time, my treasure, and my gifts in service to others as I do the work of Spirit.

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.—John 13:34

Let Go Let God with Vitality

I am vitally alive!

My body and mind are expressions of divine life and energy. As I awaken each day, I bless my entire being with thoughts of wholeness, life, and vitality. I hold an image of renewing life flowing throughout my body. I envision every cell energized, open, and receptive to this life. My body is attuned to internal divine wisdom—easily and perfectly doing the work it is meant to do. I am being constantly renewed and revitalized. I bless my mind with thoughts of energy and wisdom. I affirm light, peace, and clarity, knowing that my mind is a receptacle for divine wisdom. It is the vessel through which the Divine expresses infinite wisdom and understanding. I give thanks for unlimited life, light, and energy flowing through my mind and body.

I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.—John 10:10
