World Peace Begins With Me.

Perhaps no emotion is more precious or more powerful than the desire for peace among the world’s people. I recognize we are one in God. The divine image, the Christ, lives in every human heart. Knowing this, I think and speak with respect for everyone I meet as well as for the people I will likely never meet. I affirm: The divine presence in me greets the divine presence in you. I find ways to cooperate with those from all faiths, nations, and cultures. Each individual and each group bring a unique perspective that contributes to the richness of everyone’s understanding. The divine light shining in each willing heart is now bringing peace to our world. 

They shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning hooks; nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.—Micah 4:3

Let Go Let God In Wonder

I View My Life Through Eyes Of Wonder.

I feel inspired watching a young child discovering new things, eyes wide with awe and wonder. Even the smallest experiences—feeling the tickle of a butterfly on the skin or blowing the seeds of a dandelion—are a marvel and a joy. I think of this when disappointing life experiences chip away at my sense of awe and appreciation. Today I let go of disillusionment and open my heart and my eyes to once again live in wonder. As I view life anew, I renew my belief in the goodness of life and of all people. I open myself to the unexpected treasures happening all around me each day. Wonder is a precious gift, one I use to appreciate the marvels unfolding before me. 

They were filled with wonder and amazement at what had happened to him.—Acts 3:10

Let Go Let God Through Joy

Joy Is  My Constant Companion.

Wherever life takes me, I will travel my path with joy. I carry joy within my heart and mind. It is my way of keeping my thoughts and feelings on God and the matters of the world in perspective. With joy, I am in balance. In joy, I am a presence of grace and calm in the world. Through joy, I help and serve with compassion. The joy I carry lifts me, keeping me optimistic and trusting in my many divine gifts. I use these gifts to live fully and freely. I can transcend the limits of my past. My mistakes and regrets do not bind me. My imagination is unlimited. Joy focuses me on my brilliant future. Joy is the anchor that keeps me centered and the wings that help me soar. 

May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.—Romans 15:13

Let Go Let God Keep Commitments

Drawing On My Spiritual Nature, I Keep My Commitments.

Sometimes I may put off what can be done today. Perhaps I’m dreading a difficult conversation. Other times, I might feel overwhelmed or intimidated by the complexity of a task. Today I commit to getting started and seeing what I have taken on through to completion. There is power in commitment. It means I will not succumb to frustration or setbacks, that I will persevere no matter what. I am comforted knowing God is with and within me as strength and power. I don’t hesitate to draw upon these divine gifts, especially if I am struggling to fulfill my commitments. Living up to my word is its own reward. With each completed commitment, I grow in confidence and integrity. 

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up.—Galatians 6:9

Let Go Let God Stretch

I Welcome Opportunities To Grow.

Growth is part of life. In the past, I may have resisted it, preferring to stay comfortable or maybe feeling afraid to try new things. Today I welcome growth by stretching myself, moving just far enough outside my comfort zone to have new experiences without getting overwhelmed. Although I may feel tempted to compare myself to others, my growth happens at my pace. When I move to my own rhythm, I am able to stretch and grow. With flexibility, I find the courage to rise to challenges. I can bounce back, even when I falter. If I have bad days, I keep going. Even when growth feels hard, I keep going and discover I am not only secure in myself but am stretching to fit a greater version of myself. 

Though your beginning was small, your latter days will be very great.—Job 8:7

Let Go Let God Be Optimistic

I Greet The Good That Is On Its Way To Me.

I live with an attitude of positive expectancy, trusting the good I seek is on its way. Even though it may not yet be apparent to my eyes, my heart’s wisdom guides me to remain open and receptive. I still my mind with affirmations of gratitude and center my attention on uplifting thoughts. Aligning my heart with the harmony and energy of God, I feel a quiet, serene joy bubbling up within me. I welcome the wonderful outcomes that are unfolding. I greet the good that already exists in potential, my optimism helping me envision the best outcomes for myself and my dear ones. Believing that life is innately good, I more easily find myself in the right place at the right time. Optimistic and grateful, I welcome the joyful experiences that are flowing to me now. 

For nothing will be impossible with God.—Luke 1:37

Let Go Let God Find Comfort

I Find Comfort In Spiritual Living.

My spiritual practices are the life raft that keeps me floating atop the rough seas of life. Time spent in prayerful contemplation, devotional reading, spiritual study, service, or fellowship keeps me tethered to my spiritual life, reminding me there is so much more to living than daily obligations and duties. My relationship with God is my greatest comfort throughout all the seasons of life. It lifts me higher in easy times and keeps me from dipping too low in troubling times. The more I focus my attention and energy on those activities and practices that draw me closer to God, the more I stay in the realm of comfort and support, no matter the state of my life or the world. 

I will turn their mourning into joy, I will comfort them, and give them gladness for sorrow.—Jeremiah 31:13

Let Go Let God Pray For Others

My Prayers Affirm The Activity of God in Every Life.

When I pray for others, I look beyond the challenges they face and focus instead on the truth of their being. Each one for whom I pray is divine, created in the image and likeness of God. My prayerful purpose is not to set things right but to see things rightly. I focus on unchanging truth. I affirm wholeness, even when the one for whom I pray is experiencing illness. I affirm abundance, undiminished by appearances of lack. I affirm divine love, alive even in hearts that do not yet feel it. I am steadfast if outer appearances seem slow to improve. With faith-filled vision, I see the activity of God at work in my life and in the lives of everyone for whom I pray. 

I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.—Philippians 1:6 

Let Go Let God Renew

I Am Restored By The Spirit Of God Within Me.

Renewal is part of the rhythm of daily life. Eating and drinking to nourish and replenish my body, resting to quiet my mind, and sleeping after a day of activity are all ways to renew myself. But sometimes those efforts aren’t quite enough to sustain me. At times when I feel drained at depth, I may need spiritual renewal. God, the one presence and power, is with me always, but it is up to me to keep my awareness of God strong. When I awaken, I say a prayer of blessing for what the day will bring. Throughout the day, I feel God’s presence all around me. When I prepare for sleep, I say a prayer of gratitude for all the day has brought. In God, I am renewed moment by moment, day by day. 

We look not at what can be seen but at what cannot be seen; for what can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.—2 Corinthians 4:18

I Focus My Attention On The Truth Of God And Trust The Best Outcome Is On Its Way.

When I struggle with a difficult situation or a tough decision, I may feel awash in too many details and opinions. If I don’t know how to move forward or what to decide, I release the situation and let go and let God. This simple yet powerful act puts my troubles and worries in perspective. No situation or circumstance is greater than God. Stepping away from effort and rumination, even for a few moments, helps me remember this truth. In prayer, I release the need for a specific outcome, trusting there is likely a solution of which my human mind cannot conceive. As I keep my thoughts and energy focused on God, I begin to relax. This creates space for divine grace and wisdom to lead to the best outcome for all. 

A time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to throw away.—Ecclesiastes 3:6

Let Go Let God Bless Children

Bless All The Children Everywhere.

Jesus taught the importance of blessing children, saying that “it is to such as these that the kingdom of God belongs” (Luke 18:16). I may already be in the habit of blessing the children in my family, however, today I expand the circle of blessing outward to encompass all the world’s children. I pray all children are treated kindly and nurtured with loving care. I pray they are taught with warmth and compassion so as they grow into adulthood, they easily share warmth and compassion with others. I pray all children know their worth as divine beings, as beautiful children of God. I see them abundantly blessed and secure in divine love. I pray all children will know a world that accepts and values them exactly as they are. Amen. 

For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God.—Romans 8:14

Let Go Let God Claim Healing

Tuning Into The Active Power Within  Me, I Am Healed.

In John 10:10, Jesus said, “I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.” I take this to heart and remember abundant life-healing life-is my birthright. I am always whole. Radiant life is mine. I am luminous, aglow with divine life. Every part of my body and mind responds to my faith and words of affirmation. Anchored in my faith, I turn my attention away from thoughts of illness or insufficiency. I align my thinking with the healing life of God and claim that healing as my own. Healing may seem miraculous, but it’s the natural outworking of spiritual law. As I realize wholeness as an aspect of my divine identity, I feel the truth of God in my heart. 

My child, be attentive to my words … Keep them within your heart. For they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.—Proverbs 4:20-22

Let Go Let God Imagine

My Imagination Leads To Manifestation.

I may have said the words I imagine for years without fully understanding the extent of their creative power. Imagination is an essential step in creation. It is the spiritual gift I use to give shape to the divine ideas I claim in prayer, to bring more prosperity, peace, or healing into my life. As I imagine, I picture how I will use these divine ideas after they manifest. Perhaps I am in conflict with someone. In prayer, I can imagine harmony restored. If I am experiencing lack, I can imagine sufficient abundance to meet my needs. If a healing need arises, I can imagine myself restored to health and vitality. Now when I imagine, I am aware of my immense creative power and use it mindfully. 

For all the land that you see I will give to you.—Genesis 13:15

Let Go Let God Feel Protection

I Am A Living Sanctuary Of God's Love.

As I pray, I imagine the love of God as a sanctuary I can seek when the storms of life swirl around me. In my life, my loving relationships with family and friends also provide protection and refuge. Their affection and acceptance help me feel secure. But I’m aware that not everyone feels safe and secure in God and has a support system to rely upon. With compassion, I extend that same acceptance to those I meet who may feel in need of protection. I open my heart to them and offer unconditional acceptance, praying they will feel the love of God through me and feel safe and secure in Spirit. 

You who live in the shelter of the Most High, who abide in the shadow of the Almighty, will say to the Lord, “My refuge and my fortress; my God, in whom I trust.”—Psalm 91:1-2

Let Go Let God Forgive

As I Forgive, I Realize Wholeness.

What a joy to be in tune with the divine energy that surrounds and animates me, to feel in the flow of divine life, love, and wisdom. But sometimes that joy eludes me. When I feel out of harmony, I search my mind and heart to see if there is something or someone I need to forgive. If I have closed my heart off to another or even to myself, forgiveness will open it. Unforgiveness, holding on to resentment or anger, blocks the flow of spiritual energy and leads me to feel separate from God. When I forgive, I move forward in lightness and freedom. I once again feel divine love and joy filling my mind and heart. I rediscover the presence of God and feel at peace with myself and all others. 

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.—Matthew 6:14

Let Go Let God Reflect

I Reflect The Brilliant Light Of God.

God, the one presence and power in the universe, is expressing through all people, the natural world, and all other aspects of life. If I ever doubt the presence of God, I need only behold the world around me. The light of God is being reflected in the kind words and acts of people, in the beauty and magnificence of nature, and in life’s grand rhythms and miniscule movements. I, too, reflect the brilliance of God. My ideas, dreams, and all I do to make my mark on the world are just some of the ways the Divine expresses uniquely as me. Living from my divinity, I bring more of God’s light into the world. 

And all of us … seeing the glory of the Lord as though reflected in a mirror, are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.—2 Corinthians 3:18

Let Go Let God For Prosperity

I Am Grateful For The World's Abundance.

Sometimes I can feel as though resources are limited and there is only so much time, energy, and money to go around. When I feel this way, I remember I hold the key to prosperous living. Rather than wait for conditions to improve or worry they won’t, I change my thoughts and take positive action. If I believe there is insufficient supply to meet a need, I prayerfully open myself to possibility and act upon the guidance I receive. If I’m feeling hemmed in, I declutter and share my supply with others. This opens channels of good that flow freely into my life. If I’m believing more in limitation than possibility, I search myself for outworn beliefs that no longer serve my growth. When I trust God is in all things, I live from my divinity, stepping into a future of abundance. 

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want.—Psalm 23:1

Let Go Let God Welcome Inner Peace

I Focus On Peace And All Else Falls Away.

Peace is mine as I withdraw my attention from the activity and busyness of the world. Focusing inward, I embrace my sacred self and feel my oneness with divine life. I welcome the restful, carefree serenity of realizing all is well. Peace gives me freedom to release what weighs me down and claim patience, kindness, and joy. I feel buoyed—supported and open to Spirit. I remember this place of peace is always waiting for me, a sanctuary with doors swung wide revealing light and beauty. I enter the refuge of peace and discover its blessings. Even if chaos and noisy clamor reign outside of me, I am serene. Soothing, tranquil energy flows from me, blessing all those I encounter. 

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.—Galatians 5:22-23

Let Go Let God With Zeal

With God, I Have The Energy To Do More And Be More.

What motivates and inspires me, filling me with energy and enthusiasm? Career, leisure pursuits, and family and friends may motivate me, but they pale in comparison to my relationship with God and all it brings me. This is my deepest motivation. With God, I have the zeal to do more and be more. I see myself as I truly am—a child of God. As God’s beloved, I am imbued with divine gifts that bless myself and others. I am confident and inspired, as well as humbled, in awe of the world and its creation. I maintain my connection with God by the spiritual practices that best energize me. I may read inspirational material, pray, or spend time in fellowship with others. I tap into the power to do more than I could possibly have imagined. 

Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit, serve the Lord.—Romans 12:11

Let Go Let God Affirm Divine Order

Divine Order Is My Constant Blessing

Few things can lift me beyond the daily irritations and inconveniences of daily life better than simply affirming divine order. I shift my perspective with these two simple words, reminding myself that the things of the world may come and go, but the spiritual truth of order endures. I remember times of chaos and confusion when I couldn’t imagine how things might work out, and yet they did. Divine order was at work then just as it is at work now. As I align myself with this spiritual truth, I no longer get rattled when my plans go awry or there are hiccups in my itinerary. I free myself from anxiety and worry by living as the spiritual being I am, cooperating with the order that undergirds all things. 

Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.—Proverbs 16:3

Let Go Let God Love

Within Me Is An Ever-Expanding Reservoir Of Love.

It can be hard to find love in a world that feels lonely and cold. Rather than despair, I find the inexhaustible supply of God’s love deep in my heart. Love is the name and nature of God. It holds no ill will or unforgiveness. It is the glue of creation and the catalyst for awakening. It asks nothing but gives more than I could ever dream of. Divine love is unconditional and fearless. When I claim this love as my own, I need no longer seek it outside myself. Instead I bring it with me wherever I go. My kind words and considerate acts brighten my corner of the world and inspire kindnesses and consideration that spread far beyond me, blessing all others. 

You shall not take vengeance or bear a grudge against any of your people, but you shall love your neighbor as yourself: I am the Lord.—Leviticus 19:18

Let Go Let God Be Friendly

I Am A Friend To All.

A cheerful greeting, a pleasant smile, holding a door open for someone-the friendly ways people respond to one another can brighten everyone’s day. Even one person’s friendly gesture can inspire harmony among everyone in a group. When I remember that every person is a living expression of God and that I am one in God with all people, it’s easy to be friendly. Although we may never know each other’s name or ever meet again, in this holy moment, I see others as friends. My friends and I were once strangers. Our friendships grew as we discovered shared interests and hopes. Today my friendliness nurtures those connections and encourages new ones. 

Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the friends, even though they are strangers to you.—3 John 1:5

Let Go Let God Discover Power

I Look Within And Discover My Power.

Great power lies within me, like a treasure chest full of gold and precious jewels buried in my own backyard. It is so close that I sometimes overlook it, leading me to search near and far, seeking strength and value outside myself. Yet my power is in my potential, a gift for me to discover. I am endowed with wisdom, love, and creativity-gemstones meant to be uncovered and shared with the world. I am rich in my capacity to use these gifts to reach goals and create my life with intentionality. As I think, speak, and behave in accordance with my divine abilities, I share my treasures. I bring into the light the hidden parts of myself, knowing my power comes from expressing my best self. 

For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.—Ephesians 2:10

Let Go Let God Through Grace

The Grace Of God Is A Blessing In My Life And All Lives.

When I falter, if I stumble or stall, I may feel as though I failed. At dark times of discouragement, grace is a light shining on the horizon, a glimmer of hope that all is not lost. Grace is such a wonderful gift, the blessing that has come to me as forgiveness, healing, and prosperity. Grace is also the gift I give by being of service, showing kindness, and offering forgiveness. Through grace I rise, even after falling. Through grace I hope, even after losing. I leave the past behind and start anew, wiser, stronger, and kinder. The grace that blesses me is the grace I extend to others that they, too, may rise, that they may hope, that they may find the strength and wisdom to start again. 

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all.—Titus 2:11

Let Go Let God Behold

My Soul Thirsts For God.

In times of trouble or great joy, I behold the wonder of God in a world filled to overflowing with divine splendor. Whenever I fail to notice, I look to the people who love me and to the people I love, and know I am blessed. I behold God everywhere and rest in the knowledge that God dwells within me always. My soul thirsts for the beauty and presence of God. I find this presence expressing through me, into the world, to my beloveds, and to all beings throughout the world. As I affirm this great goodness, I remain aware that pain and disappointment may come to anyone. During challenging moments, I have faith that good will triumph in the fullness of time. All is well, despite appearances to the contrary. I trust in God. And behold, I am satisfied. 

My soul thirsts for God, for the living God. When shall I come and behold the face of God?—Psalm 42:2

Let Go Let God In Faith

My Faith Is My Foundation.

Sometimes a dream is easy to hold on to. I can imagine it vividly, want it deeply, and believe in my ability to make it happen. Other times my dream can feel further away, and I may begin to doubt my ability to realize it. Faith is the power that keeps me on the path to my dreams. Drawing upon my faith increases my ability to call it forth and trust in God. Growing in spiritual understanding deepens my faith and helps me see my role in it. Rather than rely upon God to do something for me, I come to realize the power of my imagination as I cocreate with God. My dreams, goals, and aspirations all begin with the belief they can come true. Faith is my touchstone, the rock upon which I build my life. 

For whatever is born of God conquers the world. And this is the victory that conquers the world, our faith.—1 John 5:4

Let Go Let God With A Tender Heart

I Treat Myself And Others With A Loving And Tender Heart.

Having a tender heart means being open-minded and compassionate and beholding all people and situations through eyes of love. By lending a listening ear and a helping hand, I can ease some of life’s inevitable ups and downs. It’s important to be tender and compassionate toward myself as well. I resist the temptation to ruminate about past thoughts and actions I may regret. Instead I am tender toward myself. I focus on my strengths and accomplishments and the traits that are uniquely my own. I show myself the compassion and understanding I would show a friend or family member. Tenderness helps me heal, focus forward, and let go of things that no longer serve me. 

Finally, all of you, have unity of spirit, sympathy, love for one another, a tender heart, and a humble mind.—1 Peter 3:8

Let Go Let God Live In Freedom

Living As The Divine Being I Am Is The Sweetest Freedom.

Today I celebrate my spiritual freedom. The past has no power over me, and the future is mine to cocreate with God. I let go of all that holds me back from living a full and abundant life. This is a new beginning. My prayers affirm my worth and my freedom. I release thoughts and beliefs that bind me. Centered in God, I choose how I will meet life’s circumstances. I am freed from seeking the approval or acceptance of others. I am free to be myself. My spiritual self is as infinite as the sky. Like an eagle, I soar through the expanse of consciousness. I have the power to change my thinking, release limitations, and rise above the clouds of circumstance. I am gloriously free. 

For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.—Galatians 5:1

Let Go Let God Be Unlimited

As A Spiritual Being, I Am Unlimited.

If I have believed that being only human will keep me from reaching my most deeply cherished desires, today I can choose a new belief: I am fully human and fully divine. Through the Christ within, my divine inheritance, I am one with God. The world may be full of limitations, but I transcend those by realizing the power, strength, and will of God are mine to express as only I can. I feel newly empowered to go for the life of my dreams, without feeling daunted or undeserving of the best life has to offer. I am in the world but not of it. I am a spiritual being, unlimited, and powerful beyond measure. I boldly embrace new possibilities. 

But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.—Isaiah 40:31 

Let Go Let God Trust Guidance

I Seek, Trust, And Follow My Guidance.

Seeking divine guidance means tuning out information and opinions and turning inward. Then, with an open heart and quiet mind, I can better feel the nudge of my intuition, my inner voice. I receive divine guidance much in the way flowers in a field soak up sunshine. Just as following the sun is innate for them, I have the instinct to trust my inner knowing. Even if my guidance surprises me, I trust it to lead me on the path to my highest good. I follow where I feel called to go. I heed the still, small voice within and pay particular attention to the serendipitous circumstances I find along the way. I seek, trust, and follow my guidance. As I do, I deepen my relationship with God, knowing wherever I go, I do not travel alone. 

The Lord will guide you continually.—Isaiah 58:11

Let Go Let God Feel Carefree

I Release My Worries And Feel Carefree.

When life feels heavy-weighed down by disheartening news, too many obligations, or painful memories-I find lightness in God. In the past, I may have believed that I needed to solve my problems to rid myself of troubling thoughts. But realizing life is lived from the inside out gives me a new perspective. As I bring my awareness to the presence of God, I relax and begin to perceive a life of grace, serenity, and cooperation. I realize life is bigger and better than my troubles and worries. Being carefree and secure in God puts the responsibilities of life in perspective. As I free myself from burdensome feelings, I commit to live from my spiritual awareness. Carefree and calm, I am grateful. 

Cast all your anxiety on him, because he cares for you.—1 Peter 5:7
