Let Go Let God with Grace

I am the activity of God expressing as me.

The grace of God is like a flowing river—a wellspring of light, love, and abundance—that gently leads me through the circumstances of life. I don’t need to worry about why or how God’s grace is revealed. I trust that through it, I will I have the insight, resources, and skills to make good things happen in my life. “My grace is sufficient for you.” These words from the apostle Paul to the Corinthians are a reminder that I have within me the necessities to live a free and abundant life. Whatever my need, whatever I am concerned about, I can be sure that through divine grace, the answer will be sufficient for me and those I care about. God’s grace is more than enough for me because I am the activity of God expressing as me.
By the grace of God I am what I am.—1 Corinthians 15:10

Let Go Let God in Harmony

The pure love of God harmonizes my life and my world.

Love is a powerful force for good. It builds and harmonizes; it restores order and peace in relationships. In all my activities, I dedicate myself as an ambassador of goodwill, expressing love, peace, compassion, and understanding. Rather than see lack or shortcomings, I perceive people being their highest expression of the Divine. I see each person as sacred and recognize the power of divine love within all. This practice fills my heart with joy and peace. I keep these words in my heart: “I have loved you with an everlasting love.” Aware that love is responsive to my prayers and affirmations, I speak words that harmonize and build relationships, giving thanks that we are all part of infinite love.
I have loved you with an everlasting love.—Jeremiah 31:3

Let Go Let God be Protected

Truth protects me from the limits of error thoughts.

Conditions in the world and messages around me may cause me to become fearful or feel threatened. Right where I am, I pause and take a gentle, centering breath. I turn my attention to the words of Truth that arise from divine mind. I affirm: I am whole and complete. I live in the flow of divine love, safe and secure. I am calm as I no longer give power to thoughts that I am less than whole or lacking in any way. Claiming the love that I am, I acknowledge the perfect peace of Spirit that is the very essence of my being. I live confidently, supported by ideas of Truth. Error thoughts embedded in the world around me cannot limit the success of my work nor the blessings that I receive.

The Lord is my strength and my shield; in him my heart trusts; so I am helped.—Psalm 28:7

Let Go Let God Be Worry-Free

Now is the time and this is the moment to free myself from doubt.

At the very core of worry is doubt. If I doubt that I can accomplish something, then I can think myself into failing. Self-doubt can lead to the destruction of what I could actually accomplish. I find release from worry in the quiet of prayer and meditation—in knowing who I am as a creation of God. I begin to claim my freedom from doubt by settling in to a quiet place that invites me to be calm. Here, I confidently accept that with God, the source of all good, I can accomplish anything. I direct the energy I would have used worrying to take positive action in everyday and monumental matters. Now is the time and this is the moment to free myself from doubt.

And can any of you by worrying add a single hour to your span of life?—Luke 12:25

Let Go Let God with Enthusiasm

I live life joyously and with enthusiasm!

What I give to life returns to me. I choose to give and live with joy in my heart, pursuing my passions and purpose. If I should feel anxious or overly concerned about the day ahead, I know I’m not giving it a chance to reveal the good that is in store for me. I set an intention to start my day with positive thoughts, words, and practices. I can begin with a quiet time of prayer or listen to soothing music. I can repeat a meaningful affirmation. I can look in the mirror and smile. These activities establish positive expectations in my mind and heart. I dedicate myself to this day with joy in my heart and laughter on my lips—enthusiastic to begin each new venture.
Whatever your task, put yourselves into it.—Colossians 3:23

Let Go Let God in World Peace

A world of peace begins in me!

Everything that is happening in the world around us is an extension of what is happening inside each one of us. Our individual beliefs are part of the collective consciousness of our planet. My own thoughts and feelings create waves of energy that move outward from me. Others feel those feelings and pass them on. My inner conflict contributes to conflict, and my own peace allows peace to grow. Every time I take the opportunity to heal something inside myself, that process allows for healing in the world. With this in mind, I choose to be a channel for peace. I purposefully bring my awareness to the divine energy, allowing it to radiate from me to the outer, allowing for the realization of lasting peace. A world of peace begins in me!

So far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all.—Romans 12:18

Let Go Let God Celebrate Life

I celebrate the sacred gift of my life.

At times it’s easy to get so caught up in the routine of everyday tasks that I may forget what an incredible gift it is to be alive. Why wait for difficulties to open my eyes to the blessings I have taken for granted or overlooked before? Life is filled with opportunities to evolve and grow into my best self. I resolve to see everything through eyes of gratitude. I spend this day in celebration, joyous at the multitude of blessings available to me in every moment. I choose happiness and allow feelings of celebration to permeate every cell of my body. It doesn’t matter if I have everything in my life exactly the way I would like it to be. Simply being me is reason enough to live my life to the fullest, and I rejoice in the journey!
I know that there is nothing better for them than to be happy and enjoy themselves as long as they live.—Ecclesiastes 3:12

Let Go Let God with Inner Peace

I am fully alive with the light of divine life.

Whenever I need more strength and energy, I remember that I am well-connected to all the vibrant life of the universe. I affirm my connection within. I remind myself that I am energetic, fully alive with the light of life, and ready to express in a mighty and powerful way. I am made in the image and likeness of God, and God is always flowing. As I tap in to my wellspring of unlimited God life, I feel the stirring of this great and powerful energy. It is my source of healing and well-being. By the magnetizing power of divine love, I know that I am poised to experience and express love in any moment every day. I am one in the harmony and unity of divine love. I am fully alive with the light of divine life.

But anyone united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.—1 Corinthians 6:17

Let Go Let God in the Present Moment

I say Yes! to this moment.

My life is filled with sublime experiences. Yet even the everyday occurrences, those that may seem routine, hold a blessing. I recognize that activities like maintaining my house or paying my bills are important and honorable. I remain centered in each moment and give thanks for the resources that provide for my needs. Beyond the ordinary, I say Yes! to the rising sun and the stars that fill the night sky. I say Yes! to the laughter of a child and to the memories of a childhood long ago. I recognize the beauty and sacredness of every moment. As I focus on the present moment, my day flows and things seem to happen in timely ways. I find myself saying Yes! to each one.

For in him every one of God’s promises is a “Yes.” For this reason it is through him that we say the “Amen,” to the glory of God.—2 Corinthians 1:20

Let Go Let God in Unity

We are one in the harmony and unity of divine love.

As human beings we have so much in common with each other. We all want to enjoy our lives—to have good food, fresh air, and loving relationships. So even with diverse opinions, backgrounds, and lifestyles, in many ways we are in unity despite our differences. There is a oneness in the human condition we all share. Recognizing the unity I have with others enables me to feel compassion rather than anger, to be forgiving rather than judgmental, and to look for opportunities to express appreciation to all people. I choose to see God expressing in all people and in all things—in nature, in life, and even in myself.

Lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called.—Ephesians 4:1

Let Go Let God as Infinite Good

I focus on the reality of one power.

I keep the eyes of my heart on God as I move through the day. Staying focused on the Source of all good transforms the mundane into a continuous spiritual practice of service. I trust in the truth of divine life and abundance. I stand in the flow of infinite good and conscious appreciation. I am free from the bondage of believing I should receive compensation or return for all I do. As I behold the light of Spirit shining in each heart, I welcome fresh opportunities to share compassion with humanity. The labor of my hands is for a greater good, no matter how grand or humble the task. I am kind to myself and my loved ones, to those I know as well as strangers. Each of us is an equally precious expression of God in the world.
Render service with enthusiasm, as to the Lord and not to men and women.—Ephesians 6:7

Let Go Let God be Comfort

I am a source of comfort to those in need.

If I want to be a source of comfort to someone who is suffering, I am blessed to know that I already have what I need to be that source. I act and react from an open heart space. I can be still and listen. I can offer a safe place to vent frustration without adding further fuel to the challenge. Being a source of comfort is not trying to fix something or find blame. It is holding the awareness of Truth for someone as they move through a challenging time. To do that, I practice self-care and stay centered in the awareness of divine order. I can feel compassion, while at the same time understanding each situation is part of a larger life picture. To everything there is a purpose. I am a source of comfort to those in need.

Comfort, O comfort my people, says your God.—Isaiah 40:1

Let Go Let God Forgive

As I forgive others, I am centered in peace.

When Jesus taught his disciples the importance of forgiveness, he was not just speaking of a moral imperative, but of a practical spiritual guide. When I hold on to attitudes of anger, judgment, blame, and resentment toward others, I am weighing down my own consciousness and blocking the free flow of divine energy within and through me. As I choose to forgive I dissolve the blockage within. Certainly my choice for forgiveness will have a positive impact on those I forgive, whether or not they consciously recognize and accept it. But I am powerless over others’ choices. I am simply left with the opportunity to feel lighter and more loving as I forgive. Truly, as I forgive others, I am centered in peace.
Jesus said to him, “Not seven times, but, I tell you, seventy-seven times.”—Matthew 18:22

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I am a divine being, following a path to my highest good.

The Bible shares the story of Solomon, a king whose rule was not without challenges. His efforts to solve problems by himself met with mixed results initially. But Solomon learned that he had within him the wisdom he sought. So, too, the spirit of God within me is my answer through any challenge. A block to my spiritual achievement can occur if I become “worried and distracted by many things” (Luke 10:41) in my human thinking. I remove it by shifting my attention from uncertainty to the deep certainty within me. No matter what my ego mind tells me, there is absolutely nothing to fear when I live the truth that I am here on spiritual assignment. I am a divine being, following a path to my highest good.

I will turn the darkness before them into light, the rough places into level ground.—Isaiah 42:16

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

I pray for and believe that healing is possible.

Perhaps the most difficult part after praying for a healing—for myself or another—is to wait until it is evident. Yet this is the time to continue to believe and pray. Healing can come in an instant or appear after time. With either, restoration and renewal take place. After touching a blind man’s eyes, Jesus asked him, “Can you see anything?’’ The man looked around and said, “I can see people, but they look like trees, walking.” Jesus touched the man’s eyes again and the man could see clearly. Whether a needed healing is of a physical or mental nature, restoration is possible. I keep believing and praying for myself and others, knowing that such faith and prayer provide inspiration to live life fully and confidently.
And the man looked up and said, “I can see people, but they look like trees, walking.”—Mark 8:24

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I give and receive a blessing when I pray for others.

A very important part of my prayer time is choosing to pray for other people. My prayer energy reaches out to bless them, often in ways I may never know. When I pray for others, I hold them in the light of peace and love. This is something that people in need often cannot do for themselves. The situation is too close and may go too deep for them to see beyond it. However, I can behold the Christ within them even when they cannot. I know that everything they need to work miracles is right within them. Praying for others also has a transformative effect on me. The blessings that I am sharing expand my conscious awareness of love and giving. Every time I pray for others, I am blessed with joy and gratitude.
I do not cease to give thanks for you as I remember you in my prayers.—Ephesians 1:16

Let Go Let God in Abundance

A consciousness of Spirit is the true source of my good.

I live in an abundant universe that is teeming with all manner of good. Yet the ultimate source of my good is never a particular job, bank account, or person. Those are simply channels through which my prosperity might flow. When I focus on the channels rather than the source, I narrow my capacity to receive the flow of life’s plentiful, diverse expressions. Instead I look to Spirit as the one true source of my good and recognize that I have an endless inner supply. A consciousness of Spirit is my constant supply. Centered in Spirit, I feel no lack. I am continually inspired by the flow of prospering ideas. As I act on them, I enjoy the richness of Spirit’s universal storehouse.

The Lord will open for you his rich storehouse.—Deuteronomy 28:12

Let Go Let God be Fearless

I am fearless in my pursuit of an abundant life.

Every year, monarch butterflies migrate more than 2,500 miles to warmer climates. Their northern environment no longer provides the necessary elements for them to thrive. I, too, may experience changes in my life that do not support my personal growth. When that happens, I find the impetus to redirect my life. Mental habitats of worry, fear, and stress are toxic environments, so I let go and embark on my migratory journey. I soar above any thoughts that might otherwise bog me down. Turning within, I meditate upon the innate potential for good in my life. Divine ideas flood my mind. I take action, fearless in my pursuit of an abundant life.

I have come down to deliver them ... to a good and broad land, a land flowing with milk and honey.—Exodus 3:8

Let Go Let God with Perspective

My best ideas arrive when I make space for Spirit.

Sometimes my mind can spin in circles. I might find myself ruminating for days about a challenge, playing the same scenarios over and over, unable to resolve or fix the situation. Still, I cannot see my life situation clearly without stepping back to see the larger picture. I might choose to distance myself by taking a walk, participating in a yoga class, or sitting in nature. If I am unable to retreat physically, I might take a few deeps breaths and engage in silent prayer or meditation. By willingly stepping back from any problem, I create much-needed space for Spirit to express fully. In this space, I am inspired by divine ideas that reveal to me an amazing vision for my life’s perfect unfolding.
Set your minds on things that are above, not on the things that are on earth.—Colossians 3:2

Let Go, Let God

I turn within to my spiritual Source in the face of any challenge, any fear.

The affirmation Let go and let God can be found on the walls of recovery programs throughout the world. Its Truth is unquestioned, and its implications have only expanded as our collective consciousness has grown. Today I recognize that letting God is not surrendering to an outside Source, but choosing which of the narratives within me I believe. When I quiet the opinions and fears of my ego mind, I allow my innate divine nature to express through me as strength and inspiration in the face of every challenge the day may bring. I am an expression of divine love, and as such, I affirm: I turn within to my spiritual Source in the face of any challenge, any fear.

God yearns jealously for the spirit that he has made to dwell in us … submit yourselves therefore to God.—James 4:5, 7

Let Go Let God in Divine Life

Spirit is everywhere and the essence of everything.

If I were to stand alone in the woods and listen to the sounds around me, I would hear birds chirping and animals foraging as well as trees rustling and perhaps water flowing. So much life and energy and yet so much peace because Spirit is peace! The same is true wherever I find myself. My intention is to remain centered in peace and faith. If I take time to stop and listen, I hear and sense the sacred reminders that divine life and energy are a part of all that I am and experience. I hear it in the bustling sounds of the city, the voices of family and friends, the animals that occupy my world. I sense it as a rush of confidence and courage when I attune to the spirit of life. Spirit is everywhere and the essence of everything.

On the glorious splendor of your majesty, and on your wondrous works, I will meditate.—Psalm 145:5

Let Go Let God Nourish

With mindfulness, I share my inner peace with others.

One technique for mindfulness meditation is breathing in negativity and breathing out peace—not to expel peace, but instead to outwardly share one person’s inner peace with everyone. With this in mind, I consider how my personal spiritual regimen can be bolstered by using mindfulness. I take a moment to still my thoughts. Whatever has happened in the past, I let it go. I breathe in concerns and perceived ideas of reality. I slow my breathing and open my heart; I feel the soothing presence that is there. I find my peace. Gently I exhale the Truth of my being. I breathe out my peace, affirming: I AM peace. A true sense of well-being and silent comfort are mine. With mindfulness, I share my inner peace with others.

Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.—John 14:27

Let Go Let God be Free

I am free in the one mind of Spirit.

A belief that I am incapable, broken, or lacking in some essential characteristic may appear to limit my freedom as surely as chains or bars of iron. Reflecting on times I felt confined, I discover the freedom found in transcending the limits of human beliefs when I turn to Spirit within. In quiet moments of prayer, I still the chatter in my mind that says I can’t. Divine mind is incapable of seeing limits or barriers, and I open my mind to the freedom of knowing unlimited possibilities exist for me and for our world. I discover new ideas revealed that allow me to overcome perceived obstacles. Denying the power of fears and judgments of the human experience, I am free in the one mind of Spirit.

Only, live your life in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ.—Philippians 1:27

Let Go Let God be Energized

I am energized by the power of zeal within me.

Zeal is an awesome power! It motivates me and moves me forward through my day and my life. As I attune myself to this divine power, I discover new energy to do whatever is mine to do, whether I am completing a project or caring for my family or myself. During times of meditation and prayer, I bring the idea of life and energy to mind. I become aware of energy flowing through my body. In touch with the power of zeal, I am filled with boundless energy. It flows from me as enthusiasm and ambition in everything I do. Zeal is the fuel that drives me. It keeps me interested and enthusiastic about life. As I tap in to zeal, I fully engage and express my spiritual nature. I am energetic and joyful. I am open to good everywhere around me. I am energized by the power of zeal within me.

Do not lag in zeal, be ardent in spirit.—Romans 12:11

Let Go Let God in Gratitude

I am grateful!

A pebble dropped into water creates ever-widening ripples that flow infinitely outward. Much like the small pebble, my thoughts and words of gratitude, however small they may seem, create a ripple effect of goodness that reaches far and wide. When I appreciate the people and things in my life, I discover just how full my life is. I take inventory of my blessings, giving thanks for friends and loved ones near and far who enrich my life, for work that fulfills me, for each small instance in which I feel appreciated or I can show my appreciation. As I give, I receive, and I know my gratitude increases the circulation of good in my life. Even when my day is not going as planned, my attitude makes a difference.
Grace, as it extends to more and more people, may increase thanksgiving, to the glory of God.—2 Corinthians 4:15

Let Go Let God to a Greater Unfolding

Greater Unfolding

I am free to experience a greater unfolding of divine love in my life. I seek to live in harmony with the divine principle of love. God is love. God is not a distant spirit in a faraway place but is the very breath of all life. Recognizing the divine source of love in all things, I choose to demonstrate greater love in my life. Where I notice anger, resentment, judgment, or pain, I offer release. Holding each individual in mind, I offer forgiveness through a blessing of love. As I release thoughts of negativity, limitation, and fear, I experience a greater unfolding of divine love in my life.

I give you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also should love one another.—1 John 13:34

Let Go Let God as Potential

Centered in Truth, my spiritual potential is unlimited.

The word potential is defined as “the inherent capacity for coming into being.” In this sense I embrace the spiritual potential that defines my own being. Whatever limits may appear as this day unfolds, I remember that these are merely expressions of my human consciousness. Spirit is my only Truth. Each day offers rich opportunities to deny power to ideas of limitation and remember the spiritual Truth that Paul affirmed in his letter to the Philippians: “I can do all things through him who strengthens me.” I allow my spiritual potential to manifest through every challenge and experience. By unleashing my divine potential I dissolve negative energies and become an expression of pure love and infinite possibility.

I can do all things through him who strengthens me.—Philippians 4:13

Let Go Let God Release

I release the old and embrace the new.

Each day gives me a chance to observe the beliefs I’ve been harboring. Have I been telling myself I have a limited capacity for giving or receiving? Or do I have a habit of believing I’m not enough? I shift attention away from outer concerns. I release any constrictive self-images. I let go of old perceptions and open my eyes to see my true essence. I am Spirit in expression. Affirmations and prayers become my touch points that guide me to the light and love at the core of my being. I rest in the knowledge that my mind is one with divine mind. I am a radiating center of light and understanding. I release any thought of limitation. As a beloved child of God, I have access to understanding and clarity as I move through each day.
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.—Proverbs 3:5

Let Go Let God with Strength

I am strong, and my true strength comes from within.

Throughout the years, I have gained spiritual maturity and have learned a lot about what it means to be strong. I draw upon strength, a spiritual quality inherent within all people. Even though it is important to eat healthy and exercise my muscles, an even deeper strength comes from within. Spiritual strength supports me in living with divine boldness. Centered in spiritual strength, I am able to move forward with what is important to me in my life. As I express true strength, I press on with clarity and courage even in the midst of a challenge. I persist on the path toward my dreams and goals, knowing I have what it takes. I am strong, and my true strength comes from within.

Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his power.—Ephesians 6:10

Let Go Let God with Faith

I have a deep, inner faith that grows every day.

Change can be disconcerting and may require making adjustments in life. What supports me in facing the unknown is my faith. There is nothing to fear when life throws me a curveball. I have faith that I possess everything I require right within me. My faith has only grown with each new situation I have faced in my life. It will never leave me or let me down. I have only to be aware of its presence inside me. I am reminded of my strong faith each time I pray or meditate. There is nothing I cannot handle if I approach it with faith. When I hold to the truth that I am a spiritual being, my resolve is strengthened. My strong faith in God’s spirit within me is making my way clear.

When Jesus heard him, he was amazed and said to those who followed him, “Truly I tell you, in no one in Israel have I found such faith.”—Matthew 8:10

Let Go Let God as Authenticity

I am authentically divine.

Jesus taught that the kingdom of God lies within each person. At the heart of my being glows a spark of divinity that can never be extinguished. With God as the architect of my being, I am indisputably one with God, the Infinite. If I forget the truth of who I am, I may begin to act in ways that do not reflect my divine nature. So I extend grace and love to myself. I use the power of prayer to direct my thoughts to spiritual truth, which tells of my divine origin. I connect with Spirit within and remember my innate qualities of peace, love, and joy. I forgive myself for times I missed the mark. Although my humanity remains imperfect, my spirit is divinely perfected. I am authentically divine.

There is one body and one Spirit ... who is above all and through all and in all.—Ephesians 4:4, 6
