Let Go Let God With Inner Peace

I Call Upon The Infinite Peace Of God Within.

I find peace in the beauty around me. A clear day, flowers swaying in the breeze, a gently flowing stream—all reveal the presence of God and reflect my inner nature. Lasting peace resides within my mind and heart. If that peace is temporarily disturbed, if I am feeling out of sorts about my life or the situation of a dear one, I draw upon my strength and stability by turning away from outer circumstances and going within. I quiet the chatter of my mind, perhaps thinking of one of my peaceful places, imagining the breeze caressing my face and hearing the trickling stream. In this quiet state, I connect with my source and begin to feel a settling calmness. I consider my life from this higher perspective and remain centered and serene no matter what is happening in my life or in the world.

Peace be with you.—John 20:26

Let Go Let God Appreciate Holy Places

I Grow in Appreciation of The World As A Holy Place.

As I think of holy places, images of beautiful, majestic locations may come to mind. I may think of a towering mountain range or a thundering waterfall. I may call to mind human creations such as churches and other sacred structures. These places are made holy by the reverence with which I and others behold them. Today I will regard the entirety of the world with this same reverence. I pay deep attention to my surroundings, perceiving the presence of God in the beauty of nature and in the wonder of architecture and engineering. I may not change the world as I grow in appreciation of its holiness, but I may change myself. I walk the earth with reverence, mindful of the presence of God that surrounds me.

Take off the sandals from your feet, for the place where you are standing is holy ground.—Acts 7:33

Let Go Let God Blossom

I Blossom Into  Fuller Awareness Of Myself As A Divine Being.

If I want to have a beautiful garden, I choose good soil and make sure the seeds I plant receive enough water. As the sun shines and the ground warms, I can expect new blooms to emerge from the ground and reach upward. As tender shoots grow tall, the flowers’ petals open to the sun’s rays. I blossom in much the same way. I am planted in spiritual truth, my roots drawing nourishment from the love and truth of God. I seek a deeper understanding of myself as a spiritual being, stretching toward the light and warmth of divine understanding. Like the flower, I bloom and stand tall. My roots nurture me with spiritual truth as I open myself and stretch toward the sun.

In days to come Jacob shall take root, Israel shall blossom and put forth shoots, and fill the whole world with fruit.—Isaiah 27:6

Let Go Let God Bless The Earth

I Bless The Earth With Love And Gratitude.

What a brilliant miracle this earth is. In a delicate, intricate balance, this beautiful, majestic planet sustains itself and all the life on it. I show my reverence by lovingly caring for my earth home. I take care to reduce my use of materials and resources, recycle what I can, and put items back into circulation instead of throwing them away. I bless my earth home with prayers of health and peace. I pray others around the world feel the same and join me in holding the health of our planet in prayer. I am grateful for this miraculous, marvelous planet I am blessed to call home. With love and gratitude, I commit to doing all I can to live gently upon the earth.

You set the earth on its foundations, so that it shall never be shaken.—Psalm 104:5

Let Go Let God With Appreciation

I Appreciate The Good In My Life.

When someone admires my efforts or thanks me for something helpful I’ve done, I’m happy to know I have blessed them. Recognizing how good it feels to be appreciated, I remember to express my gratitude and appreciation to the people who have blessed me. I appreciate my friends and family by nurturing those relationships. I appreciate my community by being a responsible citizen. I appreciate the natural beauty of the world by caring for it and taking time to enjoy it. The people, the places, and the things I appreciate become more precious to me as I discover that each reflects God’s presence and God’s activity in a uniquely beautiful way. I am grateful to have so much to appreciate.

Love one another with mutual affection; outdo one another in showing honor.—Romans 12:10

Let Go Let God Practice Positivity

With Positive Expectation, I Welcome The Highest And Best Outcomes.

Unity minister and teacher Eric Butterworth taught that we don’t achieve or receive what we deserve or even what we pray for. We achieve or receive what we expect. Today I ask myself: What am I expecting? Through my honest inquiry, I can determine whether I am holding positive expectations. If I am not, I look within. I realize saying no can be as important a part of developing positive expectations as saying yes. I say no to thoughts of unworthiness or any kind of limitation, or when I recognize what I’m considering will not serve my highest good or be a blessing to others. Through my commitment to authentic and honest living, I am laying the groundwork for full and abundant living. I keep my thoughts positive and expect the best.

Let your word be ‘Yes, Yes’ or ‘No, No.’—Matthew 5:37

Let Go Let God Maintain Resilience

Like The Eagle, I Am Strong And  Resilient.

Although I am strong in mind, body, and soul, I still need to practice self-care to maintain my resilience. Even in a world of busyness and speed, I commit to relaxation, community, and spiritual practice. When I watch the graceful flight of an eagle, I am witnessing self-care and natural resilience. Eagles fly primarily by soaring. They conserve energy by holding their wings outward and relying on rising currents to lift them. They rarely need to flap their wings. Like the eagle, I conserve my energy and allow myself to be lifted upward. I soar on the wings of Spirit—I live as one with the holy presence of life and strength in me.

But those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.—Isaiah 40:31

Let Go Let God Find Guidance

Every Step  Of The Way, I Am Guided By God.

Searching for spiritual guidance from books and teachers can be helpful, but a more direct route awaits me: I can bypass external sources and commune with God. Finding a quiet place, I take a few moments to relax into an awareness of the presence and power of God within and all around me. Perhaps I will discover my guidance through centering prayer, choosing a single word or short phrase to repeat as a meditation exercise. Meaningful words such as peacelightjoywholeness, and wisdom can help light my path and make my guidance clear. Whenever I need help discerning my next steps, my indwelling divine guidance makes clear my path.

The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong.—Isaiah 58:11

Let Go Let God Remain Calm

I Am Calm In All Things.

Even when circumstances seem to suggest otherwise, nothing is beyond my ability to remain peaceful. With God, I can find my peaceful center, even in the midst of despair or difficulty. During stressful periods, it may feel impossible to remain calm. That’s how I know it’s time to turn to Spirit within. Here, I find the peace and serenity that had eluded me. In this place of blissful communion with God, I am soothed and calmed as I deeply realize my divinity. The presence and power that is God is not just with me—it is within me. Rooted in my spiritual center, nothing and no one can rob me of my calm. I live in easy acceptance of the world around me. I may work to change unwelcome situations, but I remain calm as I do.

But I have calmed and quieted my soul.—Psalm 131:2

Let Go Let God Pray For Others

As I Pray For You, We Are Both Changed At Depth.

I may feel uncomfortable if asked to pray for someone who challenges me or with whom I disagree. But I believe each person is worthy of prayer, and it is my honor to pray. As I prepare to hold another in prayer, I begin by surrendering my resistance. I go within and release any prejudices or judgments. Only then am I able to pray with an open mind and heart. The ability to prayerfully release another person to their highest and best outcomes is one of the most powerful and transformative things I can do. In those moments, my personal will fades away as I commune with God in prayer. Each person for whom I pray is God’s beloved. That’s all I need to know.

For God, whom I serve with my spirit by announcing the gospel of his Son, is my witness that without ceasing I remember you always in my prayers.—Romans 1:9

Let Go Let God Boldly

I Boldly Create My Life.

The world is overflowing with abundance and opportunity, but I may miss out on what the world has to offer if I do not act boldly and take my place in it. I am a spiritual being endowed with so many divine gifts, which I bring into the world as only I can. My thoughts and words have power, and I use the power of my mind wisely to create my life’s experience. In the past, I may have been too timid to try new things or call attention to myself. But now I feel empowered to use my divine gifts. God’s power and strength are mine. I am blessed with a rich imagination and the power of will to dream big and make the choices that are right for me. I am a spiritual being, boldly living life to the fullest.

Beloved, if our hearts do not condemn us, we have boldness before God.—1 John 3:21

Let Go Let God Bring World Peace

World Peace Begins With Me.

I imagine and hold the highest vision of a world at peace, where kindness, compassion, and understanding among all people prevail. In my prayer time, I visualize everyone having easy access to everything they need to live in peace. I commit to being an emissary of peace in my home and community. In the stillness of my soul, I listen for guidance and then go forth to do what is mine to do. I continually ask, How can I be a presence of peace? Instead of focusing on what is wrong, I give my attention to life-affirming thoughts, creative ideas, and ways I can be an instrument of peace. My thoughts, words, and deeds are peaceful. I bring peace with me wherever I go. With the light of faith, I affirm: Peace, be still

Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.—Hebrews 12:14

Let Go Let God Honor Feelings

With Self-Love And Compassion, I Honor My Feelings.

I may have felt tempted to brush off comments and actions that have hurt me, telling myself I wasn’t bothered when I was. Like everyone, I deserve respect and consideration. My feelings matter. I may not be able to make others treat me the way I wish to be treated, but I can stand up for how I feel and claim my right to be treated well. Honoring my feelings makes me more sensitive to others’ feelings. I think before I speak and act, aware of how my comments and actions may affect others. I remember I can be honest and still be kind. My feelings may be tender, but I am a strong, divine being deserving of kindness and respect.

You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger; for your anger does not produce God’s righteousness.—James 1:19-20

Let Go Let God Discover

My Life Is Rich As I Discover The World Around Me And The World Within Me.

Exploring the world around me, I can discover something new every single day. The world is full of diversity and wonder, and I delight in its beauty. I can also discover new things about myself as I explore the world within me. I am a divine being, richly endowed with spiritual gifts. I am joyful, prosperous, loving, and imaginative. These qualities and so many more are mine to use to direct and shape my life. As I live more and more confidently from my divine nature, I discover God anew. The one presence and power in the Universe is not just with me. God is within me, expressing uniquely as me.

I pray that you may have the power to … know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, so that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.—Ephesians 3:18-19

Let Go Let God Extend Grace

As I Have Received Grace, I Extend Grace To Others.

Even if I feel unlovable or unworthy, I can never be undeserving of divine grace. Grace is not conditional. I am always God’s beloved, even when I forget or act in ways that belie my divine identity. I remember times when I was forgiven, even when I had caused someone to be hurt. I remember being spared the consequences of some of my more unfortunate decisions. Looking back, I can see how divine grace supported me in those instances, allowing me to move forward and not be derailed by my mistakes. Others deserve the same grace that has spared me painful outcomes. Today, I will be a blessing for them, forgiving, understanding, and sharing the grace that I have known so many times and in so many ways.

From his fullness we have all received, grace upon grace.—John 1:16

Let Go Let God Awaken

I Awaken To The Divine Possibilities Within And All Around Me.

At times my spirituality can feel separate from daily life, making it easy to lose touch with my divine nature. Yet even a small shift in my thinking can create big effects, helping me awaken my true identity as a spiritual being. The more time I devote to my spiritual practices, the more I can recognize God in every person and situation. Each day I slow down and connect with God. In the Silence I commune with Spirit and awaken to the presence of God within and the power of my divine gifts. Every moment becomes an opportunity to infuse the mundane with spiritual awareness. I awaken to the oneness of all that is and take my place in it.

But those who look into the perfect law, the law of liberty, and persevere, being not hearers who forget but doers who act–they will be blessed in their doing.—James 1:25

Let Go Let God Provide Prosperity

I Am Open And Receptive To The Flow Of God's Good. Prosperity Is Mine.

Prosperity means I am aware of and grateful for my many blessings. The more I focus on all that blesses me daily, the more I am in the flow of abundance. I am an open channel of prosperity—the flow of divine good that surrounds me always. So much more than money in the bank, feeling prosperous is a sign of a life well lived. I may feel prosperous when I spend the day doing what I love or am able to get necessary tasks accomplished. I may know prosperity when I enjoy time with my dear ones. I may also feel prosperous after a good night’s sleep or one of my favorite meals. I greet each day with positive expectations, focusing on that for which I am grateful, knowing prosperity is always mine.

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.—Proverbs 4:23

Let Go Let God Bless Pets

With Gratitude And Love, I Bless The World's Pets.

Companionship, affection, loyalty, fun—these are just some of the wonderful ways pets enrich our lives. I feel the love, life, and light of God through my relationship with pets. They ask so little, and they give so much. They are my comfort during dark times and my joy during lighter times. My life would not be as rich and full were it not for animal companions. As I care for pets, I grow in compassion and love. The love and care of God flows from me as I tenderly nurture the pets in my life. Holding all the animals and pets of the world in prayer, I bless them with thoughts of love, protection, and gratitude.

“And to every beast of the earth, and to every bird of the air, and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food.” And it was so.—Genesis 1:30

Let Go Let God With Gentleness

Gentleness Soothes My Mind And Heart.

At one time, I may have thought it necessary to push to get ahead, to fight to get my point across, and win at the expense of others losing. I have discovered this approach to life is exhausting and has a corrosive effect on my mind and heart. Today I commit to go through life gently. I choose cooperation over competition, acceptance over resistance, and peace over conflict. Life flows so much more smoothly when I align myself with it. I am gentle. I still pursue what I want in life, but now I know I am not alone. God within is my strength and support. Divine grace is mine, and I trust I will find the right opportunities, meet helpful people, and have everything I need when I need it to make my mark upon the world.

A soft answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.—Proverbs 15:1
