Let Go Let God be Protected

Divine Light and Love Abide in me.

It's easy to become afraid if I allow myself to be disturbed by outside stimuli - gossip, images, language, news, natural disasters, or other world events. I might begin to feel I am in danger everywhere. However, a divine opportunity awaits me. I let go of worry and focus on the light within. Here is the source of peace, the "inner chamber" Jesus spoke of.  This divine light is the same spirit that was in Jesus. I am whole and complete, with unlimited potential to develop divine attributes. I align with divine love that casts out fear. I am open to ideas that expand my sense of oneness with God and allow me to express more love and light in the world.

Thus says the Lord, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are mine. - Isaiah 43:1

Let Go Let God with Perspective

The Divine in  me Sees the Divine in all Things.

Henry David Thoreau wrote in his journal, “The question is not what you look at, but what you see.” I realize the deep and abiding Truth in this statement as I look around me today. I know I can choose to be dismayed by what I lack or be amazed at my abundance. I can be discouraged by how far I have to go or be proud of my accomplishments. I can choose to focus on differences between people or embrace all that we have in common on the human journey. My life changes drastically with the choices I make. So I choose to remember that God is all there is, and I am a part of that Allness—and so is everything else. I see infinite potential in a loving world through the eyes of the Divine, and so I grow!

What can be seen is temporary, but what cannot be seen is eternal.—2 Corinthians 4:18

Let Go Let God Recognize Infinite Power

Infinite Power Surrounds me and Dwells within me.

When I observe a sunset, the changing of seasons, or the movement of stars, I recognize an infinite power operating in the universe. I’m amazed to know the same power runs through my veins and causes my heart to beat. I do not need to understand it to appreciate it. I am one with this infinite power, and I remember that with God, all things are possible. That means I have divine power to use in my own life. My thoughts, words, prayers, and actions are causative; they have an energy of their own that generates results. Knowing this truth, I choose with care. I am humbled when I recognize the divine presence that surrounds me and dwells within me.

Very truly, I tell you, the one who believes in me will also do the works that I do and, in fact, will do greater works than these.—John 14:12

Let Go Let God through Healing Meditation

I Entrust my Healing to the Flow of God-Life within me.

True healing is the return of my body, mind, and emotions to equilibrium and balance. It is the spiritual restoration of wholeness to all parts of my being. I am the image and likeness of God in expression, and I can enter into a period of stillness and meditation to renew my sense of the divine qualities born in me. My mind is quiet, my body is receptive, and the healing light of God is now shining forth, bringing me into harmony with perfect health. Health is my natural state of being, and I draw forth that life-giving power in me now. I smile, giving visible evidence to God’s healing energy that is being established within me. I am whole. I am free. I am healed.

I am going to bring it to recovery and healing; I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.—Jeremiah 33:6

Let Go Let God Provide Illumination

As I Look Within, The Light of Understanding Dawns in Me.

As I look to the east on a clear morning, I see the sky begin to grow lighter about an hour before sunrise. The changes in color are nearly imperceptible at first. Birds begin their morning songs as the sky grows brighter. Then as golden rays of light proclaim the rising sun, I hear these words from the creation story of Genesis: “Let there be light.” And there is light! Illumination, the light of spiritual understanding, dawns within my own consciousness in much the same way. The darkness of ignorance begins to lighten. Insights emerge, dimly at first, then more vividly. Finally, understanding pours forth like the radiant morning sun. And there is light!

Then God said, “Let there be light”; and there was light.—Genesis 1:3

Let Go Let God be Receptive

I Am Open and Receptive to my Good.

I think of myself as a vessel through which divine ideas flow. Some come to me as quiet as a whisper and others as loud as fireworks; some while deep in prayer, and others by observing the people and environment around me. My receptive mind stretches and grows to include the suggestions of others. I set an intention to let my mind expand into new and meaningful ways of thinking and being. Everything starts as an idea, and I am open to fresh insights that could make my life and the world a better place. By being receptive to all good thoughts, I invite the abundance of the universe to flow through me, blessing me and others in ways I can’t yet imagine.

Other seed fell into good soil and brought forth grain.—Mark 4:8

Let Go Let God with Kindness

I Am a Perfect Expression of Divine Kindness.

It is easy for me to extend kindness when I see everyone as perfect divine spirit. Even if I think they are not fully expressing their inherent goodness in the moment, I remember the truth of their being and respond to them with loving-kindness. I understand that each of us deserves kindness and patience on the human journey. If I sense my belief is weakening with a person I find difficult, I know it’s time to turn within to my Source, where I am anchored in peace, strength, and love. I look again with spiritual eyes and respond easily from my heart without expecting anything in return. This is one of the ways I can express God in the world. I hope my kindness helps others to realize the good within themselves.

Whoever pursues righteousness and kindness will find life and honor.—Proverbs 21:21

Let Go Let God See Faith

I See Clearly with the Eyes of Faith.

When American mystic Charles Fillmore called faith “the perceiving power of the mind,” he was challenging me to exercise my God-sourced authority to create my world. I now take up this power and wield it to create the kind of life my heart truly desires. I include in this vision harmonious relationships, abundant circumstances, radiant health, and spiritual awakening. I focus my mind on success, peace, and well-being in my life and world without dictating the details of how it might come about. I entrust this all to God and feel my sense of assurance and confidence grow. I know and affirm that everything is moving in the direction of my good and all is well.

And those who know your name put their trust in you, for you, O Lord, have not forsaken those who seek you.—Psalm 9:10

Let Go Let God Express Ability

I am Capable of Every Success in my Life.

Now is the time, and this is my moment. I answer my divine call and express the greatness of my soul. The whole of my being is destined for a fulfilling life. Every day provides me with opportunities to improve myself and develop new skills. I achieve great things as I exercise my God-centered courage to stretch and grow beyond what is familiar and comfortable for me. I express my unique talents and abilities to accomplish what is mine to do, knowing my divine nature is equipped with all I need. My old limits pass away, my fears dissolve, and I leave behind any uncertainty. I am nurtured and loved by the spirit of God flowing through me, guiding my way.

God added his testimony by signs and wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit, distributed according to his will.—Hebrews 2:4

Let Go Let God Understand

My Heart and Mind are Open as I Compassionately Connect with Others.

In the “Prayer of St. Francis,” we are encouraged to seek first to understand others. To do so, especially in moments of upset, I turn to quiet contemplation. My mind becomes still, and I am lifted to a higher perspective. I am then able to tap in to new awareness as clarity is revealed from my higher mind. I understand others through compassion and love. With an open heart and mind, I take the time to consider another person’s position and what is happening in another’s life. I seek to understand rather than worry about being understood. As a member of the human race, I commit to seeing my brothers and sisters in a positive light. As I embody this heart-wisdom, I hold compassion for all of humanity.

You must understand this, my beloved: let everyone be quick to listen, slow to speak, slow to anger.—James 1:19

Let Go Let God Know Serenity

I Have the Power and Wisdom, and Serenity is Mine.

Every day all over the world people pray, “God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.” What a powerful prayer! Its potential increases immeasurably, however, when I realize that I am within God, and God is within me. I’m not asking some outside force to bring me a gift—the serenity is already here, within me! No matter where I am or what is happening, I can never be separate from my Source. Everything I need to be at peace—even in the worst storm—is here within me. I open to that power. I call on my highest self to affirm power and wisdom, and serenity is mine!

Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times in all ways.—2 Thessalonians 3:16

Let Go Let God in Generosity

Divine Love, through me, Multiplies all that I Give and Receive.

A classic hymn declares, “Love is something if you give it away; you end up having more.” While it is true that freely sharing my time, talent, and treasure attracts good into my life, I am inspired to give for the sheer joy of giving. Recognizing my oneness with all people in God, I know every thought, word, helping hand, or financial gift I offer blesses me as much as it blesses the one who receives it. Because I know that both giving and receiving are essential to the flow of abundance, I accept with gratitude and love the gifts and blessings that come to me through the loving generosity of others. I count each day as another opportunity for me to give in return.

They are to do good, to be rich in good works, generous, and ready to share.—1 Timothy 6:18

Let Go Let God be Renewed

I Am Renewed, Refreshed, and Reinvigorated!

Each day brings me opportunities to be all I am created to be, but I might find that my habits put me in the same rut today I was in yesterday. How do I break free? In the present moment, I take charge of my life. I breathe. I notice my surroundings. I choose to hear with new ears and see with new eyes what is happening. I am not limited by my past or concerns for the future. I pull myself out of the rut by heightening my conscious awareness. New choices are always available to me. I am filled with infinite possibilities for good. I set an intention to see things differently. I take another deep breath and affirm: I am renewed, refreshed, and reinvigorated!

Those who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength, they shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary.—Isaiah 40:31

Let Go Let God Love

Love Lifts Me Out of Darkness.

I have an inborn connection to a loving God that can never be severed. While the experience of love as a human emotion can end, divine love is eternal. God is love, and this perfect love is part of my divine nature. I am able to access this love in every moment, regardless of where I am or what is happening around me. The poet Hafiz writes, “I once asked a bird, ‘How is it that you fly in this gravity of darkness?’ She responded, ‘Love lifts me.’” When I find myself feeling sad or discouraged, angry or afraid, I can turn to the one presence of love that is always available to comfort me. I can shift my focus from pain to love, knowing love is the foundation of all creation. In the darkest nights, I can allow love to lift me.

Beloved, let us love one another, because love is from God; everyone who loves is born of God and knows God.—1 John 4:7

Let Go, Let God

I Release, And I Am At Peace.

Sometimes when I’m rushing to accomplish a task or reach a goal, I encounter continual obstacles and time seems to be running out. The harder I work, the more bogged down I get! However, I’ve learned this frustration can be a positive prompt for me to remember I am not alone. When I notice my “stuckness” or exasperation, I remember I can make a new decision—to let go and let God. I let go of frustration and worry, and call on the Divine in me for ideas, clear direction, and peace of mind to do what I feel called to do. Letting go brings a fresh outlook to my task at hand. Answers come to mind, people show up to help, and my path becomes smoother. I release, and I am at peace.

Let the Lord your God show us where we should go and what we should do.—Jeremiah 42:3

Let Go Let God for Relationships

We Are All Members of One Body.

I pause for a moment to give thanks for my close relationships—loved ones within my household, companion animals I consider family, and people who live miles away but are held close by love. These loved ones are part of me. I carry them in my heart always, even beyond their deaths. When I further consider relationships, I think of the neighbor who greeted me as a hospital volunteer when I arrived for medical tests. How uplifting and comforting to see a welcoming smile from a friend. How can I build relationships beyond my circle of friends? The answer is simply to give generously of my attention, to listen with my heart, and to care.

So we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another.—Romans 12:5

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

The Christ Within Me is My Light and My Guide.

Walking down a narrow hallway, my eyes stay focused on the door at the end. I might not notice that doors to my right or left are also open to me. As I walk my life’s path, am I so single-minded in my objective that I ignore other options? Am I carrying out my true purpose, or am I so trained on the end result that I miss important steps along my journey? I can always be sure that I am going in the right direction if I follow the prompts and nudges of my inner guidance. Giving my divine identity free rein in my life, I can confidently take steps into the future. I let the Christ energy within me fulfill the pattern of perfect light and guide me to my good.

Your eye is the lamp of your body. If your eye is healthy, your whole body is full of light … Therefore consider whether the light in you is not darkness.—Luke 11:34, 35

Let Go Let God Forgive

My Heart is at Peace as I Forgive and Let Go.

A Burning Bowl service is a sacred ritual that allows a quiet time of reflection, surrender, and release. But I don’t have to wait for a year-end ceremony to begin the healthy process of letting go. I’ve learned that holding on to a grudge harms me even more than it hurts others. Committed to my spiritual path, I am willing to be healed through the power of forgiveness. I create the space for private rituals of release. I tap in to the power of love as I let go of judgmental thoughts and perceptions. I surrender any pain or sadness in my heart. As I let go, peace washes over me. With an open heart and clear mind, I move forward, open to infinite possibilities.

For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.—Matthew 6:14

Let Go Let Go in Service to Others

I Experience Joy as I Give of Myself in Service to Others.
Today I serve those closest to me as well as the larger community through my thoughts, words, and actions. As I see individuals or groups, I remember each person is the image of God just as I am, with unlimited potential. In my professional work and as a volunteer, I look for opportunities to offer my skills and gifts in service to them. Divine love flows to me and from me as I do what is mine to do. I experience great joy as I give myself in service to others. I need no expression of gratitude from them, although they often give it. My service blesses me with a growing awareness of oneness with those I serve and with all of humankind.
Thus says the Lord of hosts: Render true judgments, show kindness and mercy to one another.—Zechariah 7:9

Let Go Let God Pray & Work for World Peace

Let Us All Pray and  Work For World Peace.

I pray for myself and for all people that we will awaken to our oneness and to the light of God that we truly are. Through my divine nature, I realize inner peace and am prompted to reach out to others in love and peace. We share a desire for well-being for ourselves, our families, and for the countries in which we live. During World War I, an estimated 100,000 soldiers from opposing sides initiated a Christmas truce in the trenches. This story lives on as a reminder that peace is possible even in the worst conditions. It is a choice we can make at any time. Let us see ourselves as brothers and sisters within one family, each of us the essence of divine love, creating peace on earth.

The dawn from on high will break upon us, to give light to those who sit in darkness and … guide our feet into the way of peace.—Luke 1:78-79

Let Go Let God Call Forth Courage

Standing in Faith I Am Courageous.

Whenever I feel fear bubbling up inside, I embrace the opportunity to look below the surface and discover its source. Most often it is born from the discomfort of not knowing the future. I breathe deeply and allow the muscles in my body to relax, and I feel the swirl of my thoughts quieting. I move my attention to the tranquil space of my heart. Fear is a natural reaction and one I can use as a tool to remember there is no spot where God is not. There is no situation I face alone. I call forth courage and faith, trusting the Divine is in the details. I will know all I need to know, and each step will become clear at the right and perfect time.

So have no fear of them; for nothing is covered up that will not be uncovered, and nothing secret that will not become known.—Matthew 10:26

Let Go Let Go in Divine Order

My Life is in Divine Order.

I am part of a presence and power that keeps me feeling calm and peaceful. No matter what is going on in my life, I can turn to prayer and meditation to reawaken to this truth. This practice lets me know that nothing can disturb me or shake my faith. Declaring this truth in the face of the unknown reminds me that only good can come to me. I release any concerns or worries and rest in the knowledge that the power of God is present wherever I am. Nothing and no one could be against me. God’s good in my life is an ever-present reality, no matter what appears to the contrary in outer situations. I trust that I am moving in the right direction. When I see my life with spiritual vision, divine order is all there is.

What then are we to say about these things? If God is for us, who is against us?—Romans 8:31
