I give generously, and I am abundantly blessed.
In
many places in the world people carry a bushel basket to market.
Vendors fill it to overflowing with greens and other produce. Both
givers and receivers experience a joyous sharing of prosperity and
gratitude through this transaction. My heart is a bushel basket
overflowing with love and generosity for those I meet each day. I am
grateful and joyful when I participate in opportunities to give and
receive. Abundant prosperity flows when I share openly and lovingly. As I
participate in the circulation of God’s good, my wealth expands. I am
grateful for the abundant blessings in my life.
Give,
and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken
together, running over, will be put into your lap; for the measure you
give will be the measure you get back.—Luke 6:38
