I choose my activities with love and wisdom.
During this busy time of year, even worthwhile and exciting social
invitations can lose their sparkle on top of too many commitments.
Calling on divine wisdom, I know which opportunities will enrich my
appreciation of this blessed season, and I easily let go of the rest. Instead
of thinking of holiday activities as what I “should” do, I view each
one as a choice. I may choose to participate, or not—depending on my
interests and availability. I release feelings of guilt or pressure. I embrace and enjoy all those things that are truly meaningful to me. A wonderful feeling of peace comes over me as I exercise my ability to choose with love and wisdom.
So teach us to count our days that we may gain a wise heart.–Psalm 90:12
