Let Go Let God Invite Inner Peace

In the silence, my heart and mind are centered in God.

The silence is a period of meditation during which my thoughts are withdrawn from the external world and concentrated upon the inner truths of God. The indwelling presence of God is the very essence of the silence. As I meditate, I sense God's presence as stillness. My mind is quiet.
If I have been experiencing unsettledness in my life, I devote time today to silent prayer. In the silence, I invite compassion, wisdom and grace into my heart and mind. I step fully into the kingdom of God within me. Centered in the power of God, I gather strength and clarity.
By choosing to go within rather than react, I experience the peace of God. From this space of peace, I respond to life with love.

The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness.--Galatians 5:22

Let Go Let God Release

I let go and let God guide me.

As a child I may have enjoyed releasing balloons into the air and watching them gently float away, higher and higher, until they disappeared from view.
In much the same way, I release any thoughts or beliefs that no longer serve my highest good. I picture them encased in a balloon, and I gently let them go. I release the situations to God in prayerful consciousness. No longer will old sorrows, negativity or fear control me.
As I release the past, I accept the joy of God that awaits me in this present moment. I now open my mind and my life to a greater good and go forward eagerly and happily in the knowledge that today has new joy, new health, new freedom for me.

Yield yourselves to the Lord and come to his sanctuary.--2 Chronicles 30:8

Let Go Let God in Strength

I have inner strength.

As I embark on any new endeavor, the excitement of a fresh start can be exhilarating. Sticking with it, however, requires that I develop the spiritual faculty of strength and use it daily.
Whether I am adopting a new healthy habit or leaving an unhealthy one behind, raising a child or starting a new job, I remain steadfast. Obstacles may arise and I may experience my motivation waning, but my inner strength carries me through regardless of any obstacles. I meditate and invite in new awareness. I listen for guidance from within, while affirming my strength and resilience.
The spirit of God within me is my source of spiritual strength. In God consciousness, I overcome any challenge and experience the joy of success.

The Lord is my strength.--Psalm 28:7

Let Go Let God Just Listen

I listen from my heart.

I rely on my ears to hear, but my heart to listen. When someone speaks to me, I not only hear the words, but with focused attention, I truly listen to what they are saying and the feelings they are expressing. I am an active and attentive listener, asking for clarification to help me understand. I listen this way because I know what it means to be heard.
I also listen with my heart to the messages of the Christ Spirit within. I still my thoughts and wait in the temple of sacred silence for the still small voice. My guidance and help may come through words, feelings or as an unmistakable knowing. If I need confirmation or clarification, I ask and listen, knowing I will receive.

All the people would get up early in the morning to listen to him in the temple.--Luke 21:38

Let Go Let God in Unity

I am one in Spirit with all people.

Nearly 7 billion people live on this planet we call home. Vast distances of land and ocean separate us from one another. Our differences create a beautiful mosaic of appearances, beliefs, cultures and customs. Underneath, we are one in Spirit, members of the family of humankind.
We each have the spark of the Divine within that comprises our spirit and source of inspiration. We have mental and emotional qualities--thoughts, feelings and memories--that comprise our soul. And we are physical beings with bodies to care for and nourish. Today let us celebrate our unity--our sisterhood and brotherhood--by affirming: I am one in Spirit with all people.

How very good and pleasant it is when kindred live together in unity! --Psalm 133:1

Let Go Let God Be Worry-Free

I release every concern and move forward with faith in God.

How often have I spent precious moments of my time worrying about something that never came to be? Worry is a conscious choice, but is it a constructive way to spend my day?
Today I choose to refrain from worry and live in faith. Faith is the opposite of worry for faith allows me to let go of what is troubling me and release it to God. Through faith in God, I experience the joy of the present moment. Through faith in God, I am free from stress or concern.
I cannot predict what will happen to me or my loved ones on any given day, but I can make the choice to be positive and worry-free. By doing so, I move forward in faith, living in the moment and trusting God for right outcomes.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry.--Matthew 6:25

Let Go Let God as I Pray for Others

The power of prayer strengthens us all.

Knowing that someone is praying for me encourages me to believe that good is unfolding in my life. Whether I am heading out for a job interview, facing a health issue, or caring for a loved one, it is good to know I have a praying friend holding me up. This turns me away from worry and opens me to the power of affirmative prayer.
Positive prayer energy moves through us as a blessing. It feels good to be spiritually centered, affirming the power and presence of God in our lives. The power of prayer does not change God; prayer inspires and strengthens those who are praying and those who are held in prayer. In the partnership of prayer, all receive benefit from the affirmation of God's indwelling presence.

This is what we pray for, that you may become perfect.--2 Corinthians 13:9
