I welcome the opportunities that changes bring.
Vacations
are typically filled with action—playing, visiting, exploring.
Sometimes a change of scenery is just what I need to recharge my energy.
However, not every change is welcomed or expected. Changes happen
to me and around me. Rather than meeting them with resistance or
discontent, I consider them with the joyful expectation of a child. Am
I challenged by a change in my physical health? Perhaps this is an
opportunity to focus on myself. Likewise, I can consider changes in work
as opportunities for greater potential. I welcome change with joy-filled expectation and enthusiasm.
He
called a child, whom he put among them, and said, “Truly I tell you,
unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the
kingdom of heaven.”—Matthew 18:2-3
