Patience Is Easier When I Trust God.

In my human striving, I have grown accustomed to trying to make things happen. I may even feel impatient when a desired result is delayed or derailed. Today I remind myself of the value of patience. When I turn my efforts over to the Divine within me, I release my need to have situations resolve according to my preference or timetable. Through my faith in God, I relax and know deep in my heart the right and proper outcome is unfolding. I trust divine timing. I understand sometimes certain pieces must fall into place before I can realize the result for which I am waiting. God is in the midst of it all. In perfect assurance, I practice patience. 

By contrast, the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness.—Galatians 5:22

Let Go Let God Be Free

I Am Free In God.

I may feel bound by the limitations of the world, by my personal story or family history, or by my own doubts and fears. At the level of Spirit, however, I am eternally, gloriously free. As I root myself in spiritual awareness, I feel the regrets of the past and the constricting uncertainty of the future fall away. In the present, I am free to choose what to think and how to feel. Nothing and no one can make me think or feel a certain way. I meet life from a place of empowerment rooted in my oneness with God. Closing my eyes and breathing deeply, I repeat I am free and let these words fill my awareness until my thoughts of limitation fade away. I am one with the presence and power of God, wondrously free. 

And you will know the truth, and the truth will make you free.—John 8:32

I Honor And Bless The World's Mothers.

Today I offer a blessing of gratitude for the loving, nurturing spirit of mothers. I bless my mother and those who have shared a mother’s love by supporting me throughout my life. I think of the many ways they have been present for me over the years with unconditional acceptance and love. I envision all the mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers throughout the world surrounded by love and light. For those in my life, I take time to express my appreciation with words, gifts, and time together. To mothers-to-be, I prayerfully affirm health and ever-deepening joy. To mothers no longer in the world, I hold them in loving prayer and hold thoughts of joy and gratitude. I bless their souls’ ongoing journeys, knowing bonds of love keep their memories alive.

Through The Power Of The Christ Within, I Can Accomplish All I Set Out To Do.

When I declare, I can do it, my words may lack power and conviction if I believe I have to rely on my human abilities alone. However, I feel the power of my words more fully when I remember how the presence and power of God is with and within me at all times and in every circumstance. Divine intelligence and strength are mine. Even if I have feared I could not figure my way out of a dilemma or doubted whether I could persevere and finish an arduous journey, I can lean into the power of my spiritual gifts, trusting the infinite intelligence and inexhaustible strength of the Divine in me. I can overcome obstacles and achieve great things through the power of God within me. 

So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvesttime, if we do not give up.—Galatians 6:9

Let Go Let God In Anticipation

My Positive Expectations Energize And Invigorate Me.

Having things to look forward to brings excitement and sweetness to life. There is a positive feeling of expectancy and the feeling of connection to people and events that broadens my perspective and enriches me. If I am feeling lonely, if life feels flat without surprises or opportunities to grow and try new things, I take this as a prompt to rekindle my zeal and get involved in new pursuits. Making new friends, embarking on a course of learning, or getting creative in the arts can help me grow in anticipation for fun, challenge, and a greater experience of life. God is in every new experience and in the sweetness of anticipation I feel as I look forward to doing new things and meeting new people. 

I am confident of this, that the one who began a good work among you will bring it to completion by the day of Jesus Christ.—Philippians 1:6

My Friend I, Bless You With My Thoughts Of Love And Appreciation.

Friends are the people who understand and accept me as I am. What a blessing it is to have this kind of relationship. When I think of a friend, I picture a companion who is always there for me—a willing heart, ready to laugh or cry or just be with me. Today I enfold my friends with thoughts and prayers of love and gratitude. I am grateful for those dear ones who have touched my life with their gentleness or perseverance. They have made my life a joy. I pray each friend is filled with lightness and love and living with purpose and intention. I affirm abundant blessings overflowing in each of my friend’s lives. I endeavor to be the friend I wish to have— kind and thoughtful, with a listening ear, helpful hands, and caring heart. 

A true friend sticks closer than one’s nearest kin.—Proverbs 18:24

Let Go Let God Affirm Grace

I Am In The Presence Of God's Grace.

Grace is a constant blessing, an invisible friend beside me, guiding my steps toward my highest good. When I have lost my way or am feeling troubled, God’s grace within me brings me back to the enduring power of divine love. This is perhaps grace’s greatest gift, the reminder that things of the world will come and go, the transient rhythms of life will rise and fall, but the presence and power of God will endure, unchanging and unchangeable. I find peace when I align my thoughts with God’s presence with and within me. I place my attention on the positive and trust divine grace. With a grateful heart, I affirm all things are working for my good. I am at peace knowing I have the blessing of God’s grace. 

The Lord is gracious and merciful, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.—Psalm 145:8
