When I pray, my soul goes deeper into God.

Singer/songwriter Daniel Nahmod inspires us with this lyric: When I pray, I feel my soul go deeper into my God. Prayer is our experience of communion with the Infinite Divine. Called by many names, God is the great Oneness. God is All That Is. Prayer shifts our attention from the ever-changing world to the abiding and enduring divine peace and love within. Right where we are, we can pause and feel our breath, close our eyes, and gently calm our thoughts. No longer are we caught up in the clang and clatter of the outside world. In the silence of prayer, we enter into a sacred space where all things are possible. We go deeper into our God. With thanksgiving in our hearts, we are renewed and at peace.

Let Go Let God with Vision

I seize the bold vision to manifest the life of my dreams.

To visualize the life I desire, I may create a vision board to capture my intentions in words and pictures. Or I might write in a journal about my aspirations, outlining in detail all that is possible. Doubts may creep in, causing me to question the validity of my ambitions. If so, I look beyond any perceived limitations. If I am concerned about my age, resources or timing, I courageously affirm: My dreams are God-inspired. I seize the bold vision to manifest the life of my dreams. I am bolstered by this affirmation as I align with the vibration of a higher vision. I open to unseen possibilities and joyously witness the unfoldment of my dreams.

 

Write the vision; make it plain on tablets, … For there is still a vision for the appointed time.—Habakkuk 2:2, 3

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

Divine Life rejuvenates my being—mind, body and spirit.

Physical wounds heal from the inside out. As cells and tissues regenerate, physical renewal occurs. If my spirit is wounded, I am also healed from within. I willingly receive the love and grace of God, which empowers my healing. As I open to love and acceptance, my renewal begins. Like physical healing, spiritual healing may occur in stages. I am gentle with myself and trust in God and the power of Divine Life. My healing “prescription” may include forgiving myself and others. It may call for understanding and tolerance. All that I need I receive. Divine Life rejuvenates my being and leads me to wholeness in mind, body and spirit.
 

The Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want … he leads me beside still waters; he restores my soul.—Psalm 23:1-3

Let Go Let God in Words

My words contain energy and power.

I needn’t have a large vocabulary to express myself clearly and meaningfully. Every sentence I speak demonstrates the power of the spoken word. Praise and encouragement expand God’s good. What I say can uplift someone’s spirit or help them through a time of hardship. I can provide reassurance, guidance, kindness or appreciation. Knowing what I say may be remembered by another, I choose words that are clear and considerate, positive and affirming. I also use positive words in my self-talk, acknowledging that I am a valuable and vital child of God. I enter a consciousness of praise and affirmation, knowing my words contain energy and power.

Let Go Let God in Comfort

The dawn of a new day comforts me.

I may sometimes lie awake at night feeling anxious about tomorrow. When this happens, I make a conscious choice to shift my thoughts from worries to the indwelling spirit of God. My thoughts unite with the Source of all good. God is here, and all is well. As I shift my thinking, I am assured that my needs are already met. Good bubbles up from God within me, and I am open to receive. Comforted in this realization, I gently return to sleep. The light of dawn signifies a new day. I awaken refreshed in body and spirit. I am connected, at one with God and attentive to divine ideas and guidance. With gratitude I affirm: All is well.
 

Stand at the crossroads, and look, and ask for the ancient paths, … and find rest for your souls.—Jeremiah 6:16

Let Go Let God in Faith

My faith in God is unshakable.

 

When I pray for prosperity, healing, guidance or peace of mind, I know that God is not outside me, deciding to either give or withhold my wishes. God is within me as pure divine abundance, wholeness, wisdom and serenity. It is my faith in God that answers my prayers.I may not be able to see what my faith will manifest, or whether my activities will generate the outcomes I desire. But my steadfast faith, attuned to God in prayer, reminds me that God’s spirit is moving in and through me and is active in all situations.
As I become more aware of the activity of God in my life, I look beyond any uncertainty or doubt to the assurance that, regardless of the outcome, Spirit will be with me.

 

Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.–Hebrews 11:1

Let Go Let God in the Flow

God’s life-giving energy flows through me now.

The natural, peace-filled flow of life can be seen in the ocean tide as waves wash in and out from the shore. I feel the flow of life as air moves through me with the rise and fall of my chest as I breathe. I observe the natural flow of thoughts and ideas as they pass through my mind. All of this flow is divine energy. God’s life-giving energy flows to and through all creation—through every system, every process, every being on earth. The flow of the Divine enables us as humans to overcome hardship, heal from disease, and come together in times of need. I give thanks for the divine flow of life-giving energy that moves in and through my life and the world.
 

Out of the believer’s heart shall flow rivers of living water.–John 7:38
