Let Go Let God Release

I make room in my world for new good to appear.

To experience greater peace and prosperity, I make a habit of releasing unwanted and unneeded belongings. By letting go of what no longer serves me, I make room for new good to appear. Release makes my world more spacious. It opens the way for the free circulation of God’s infinite supply. Letting go need not be painful. I am free to keep useful, artistic, or sentimental items, and release whatever has fulfilled its purpose. Donating, recycling, or selling unneeded possessions can also create breathing space in my home. No matter where I begin, I ask for divine guidance. I then joyously set into motion the cleansing power of release.

For one’s life does not consist in the abundance of possessions.–Luke 12:15

Let Go Let God with Faith

With faith, I first believe, then I see.

Some say seeing is believing—but my spiritual self first believes, then sees. Faith does not require that I know all the steps to take before I begin my journey. I pray with faith, then open my mind and heart to guidance. When children write letters to Santa Claus, they hope their wishes will come true. My belief is greater even than that of a child. With grown-up faith, I turn within and listen. The answers I receive may be chance encounters, unexpected opportunities, or exciting new ideas. My faith is confirmed every day. I follow through on my guidance. As I am led, I act; I put feet under my prayers. First I believe, then I see.
Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.—Mark 10:52

Let Go Let God as the Light

I radiate the light of God.

Like the dawn of a new day, I radiate light. Shadows of doubt and concern dissipate as I let Divine Light permeate my mind, my thoughts, and my outlook on life. I feel illumined as I open myself to the flow of divine wisdom—receptive, willing, and inspired. Each task, conversation, or project today is an opportunity to let Spirit work through me in practical ways. I pause now to feel the presence of Divine Light embracing, surrounding, and strengthening me. Breathing in the energy, I step forth into the day—renewed with fresh ideas and increased confidence. My energy inspires others to let their lights shine. Passed on from one person to another, this blessing touches all.
The human spirit is the lamp of the Lord, searching every innermost part.—Proverbs 20:27

Let Go Let God with Inner Peace

I am calm, centered, and serene.

Peace emanates from the inside out. Even if I feel like I am in the midst of a storm, I can reestablish inner peace. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you.” This verse from the Book of John reminds me that peace is in the midst of me as the Christ Essence, calming my troubled heart. I breathe deeply and focus on my natural state of peace. I let my body relax. Once inner peace is restored, my perceptions and responses are sharpened. I function in the world of activities and responsibilities, present to whatever is happening, yet I am centered in Spirit. I proceed with joy and confidence.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid. –John 14:27

Let Go Let God Be Thankful

I celebrate and give thanks for my many blessings.

In the classic song, Irving Berlin writes: “If you’re worried and you can’t sleep, just count your blessings instead of sheep.” As I pause in celebration, I am grateful for so many blessings. I begin by appreciating my breath moving in and out, then my body, then all the systems working together to enable me to do all that I do. I give thanks for the people and pets I hold most dear. I consider my home and the activities that make my day enjoyable. I acknowledge all I have learned from my life experiences, and I am grateful for the person I am today. I celebrate all the blessings in my life and I am thankful.
He took the seven loaves and the fish; and after giving thanks he broke them and gave them to the disciples, and the disciples gave them to the crowds.—Matthew 15:36

Let Go Let God in Prosperity

God is my all. I am grateful and abundantly blessed.

My prosperity does not depend upon a person or thing. My feeling of fulfillment comes from my awareness of Spirit and recognizing the many blessings I receive. My appreciation for these blessings grows when I take time to give thanks for all that I have and will receive. Prosperity comes to me in many forms—family, friends, joy, health, and so much more. While the contents of a wallet or purse may be a reflection of finances, my true prosperity comes from Spirit. If I should have a financial concern, I turn within and give thanks in advance that Spirit is opening the way to new and creative avenues for my finances to flow. Today and every day I affirm: I am abundantly blessed.
I will heal them and reveal to them abundance of prosperity and security.—Jeremiah 33:6

Let Go Let God in Divine Appointment

Keeping my divine appointments leads me to more wisdom and love.

I am committed to a greater understanding of my spiritual gifts and divine potential. Thus, prayer and meditation are the most important activities on my calendar. These divine appointments are reminders that take me away from the rush of everyday life into a quiet, peaceful state of being. In my time in the Silence, I become more aware of who I am and the love in and around me. Creating a daily habit for prayer and meditation opens the door for wisdom and love to express through me to others. God’s love is my inspiration, and the greatest thing in all my life is my personal spiritual path. God and I are one. Basking in that Oneness, I am courageous, strong, and fulfilled.
Devote yourselves to prayer, keeping alert in it with thanksgiving.—Colossians 4:2

Let Go Let God with Grace

I act with grace and compassion.

Nature often demonstrates grace and compassion, particularly when an animal of one species raises a baby from another. An instinct of caring supersedes the instinct of fight or flight. I consider where I can show up as grace and compassion in the face of adversity. Faced with a situation that has caused stress in the past, I pause and remember the presence of divine grace in me. I open my heart to shifting my perspective or response, just as the parent animal shifted its experience. It may be time to speak up about a situation or it may be time to quietly walk away. Either way, I am at peace knowing I am guided by the grace of Spirit within me.
The leopard shall lie down with the kid, the calf and the lion and the fatling together, and a little child shall lead them.–Isaiah 11:6

Let Go Let God as Family

I strengthen my family through the power of love.

A towering pine or mighty oak draws on rain, sunshine, air, and soil to thrive. Similarly, we grow through the comfort, inspiration, ideas, and enrichment we receive from others.
Family is a vital part of our spiritual support system. Today I give thanks for my family and others who are important to me. As we gather for special celebrations, I embrace our similarities and differences. When we are apart, I enrich my relationships by reaching out. I strengthen our connection through simple acts of kindness, such as calling or sending a note. Near or far, I bless others with warm thoughts and prayers of gratitude for their presence in my life.
The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.–Galatians 5:22-23

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

Spirit guides me to my highest good.

Every moment of every day brings the opportunity for new choices. The freedom to choose what I think, say, and do can be a liberating joy. On the other hand, the options for how to live my life may seem overwhelming. Should I go back to school? How can I serve humanity? From everyday events to major life changes, I have choices to make. If I rely solely on my mind to endlessly weigh pros and cons, I may feel lost in a sea of possibilities. Instead, I turn to my internal guidance system. God’s guidance is always available to me. As I contemplate major life choices, I move from my head to my heart. I pray and patiently wait for the still, small voice within. Spirit guides me to my highest good.
When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth.–John 16:13

Let Go Let God with Connection

One with all the good in the universe, I am at peace. I am love.

The family of humanity is connected in wondrous ways. Physically, we are related through common genetics, culture, and civilization. Emotionally, I often affect a much wider circle of people than I may realize. If I express anger, I may set a difficult tone for my family’s day. When I share joy, happiness spreads throughout my workplace. The impact of my compassionate nature ripples beyond my home and into my community. On so many levels, I am one with everyone I encounter. In quiet prayer, I take a moment to acknowledge our Oneness. One with all the good in the universe and every soul in it, I am at peace. I am love.
Like good stewards of the manifold grace of God, serve one another with whatever gift each of you has received.–1 Peter 4:10

Let Go Let God Forgive

I forgive as I open to the love of God in me.

Words or actions from others can hurt so much that I feel justified in holding a grudge. Yet, after careful consideration and reflection, I know I am only hurting myself by withholding forgiveness. God and I work together to create my peace, and I begin that process by releasing expectations about the behavior of others. I follow the example of Jesus who said to forgive 77 times—in other words, without end. I remind myself that all human beings make mistakes. It is easier to move forward in love and respect when I remember that in Truth we are all spiritual beings having a human experience. We are all expressions of God. Knowing this, I forgive as I open to the love of God in me.
In everything do to others as you would have them do to you.–Matthew 7:12

Let Go Let God with Independence

I am an independent spirit with unlimited power.

I may have been born into challenging circumstances or run into difficulty along the way. Spirit gives me the inner resources to rise above whatever I face. I am free to think positively, act courageously, and soar like an eagle. I value the ability to make decisions about matters that affect me. I use my spiritual powers to think and act in ways that benefit all. I have the power to do and be whatever I choose. I create the life of my dreams. Attuned to Spirit, I am fearless and self-assured. I am confident and strong. I am an independent spirit and I am free.
The Lord will guide you continually, and satisfy your needs in parched places, and make your bones strong; and you shall be like a watered garden, like a spring of water, whose waters never fail.–Isaiah 58:11

Let Go Let God in Divine Orders

I am in the flow of divine power.

The philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote about placing oneself “in the middle of the stream of power and wisdom.” As I turn to God within, I see divine order at work in my life. Cooperating with the divine flow, I am strong and wise. I do not create this stream of power—I simply participate in it, with a thankful heart. At the beginning of my day, I establish order by focusing on an empowering spiritual truth. When I speak to others, I am positive and helpful. As I discover ideas to create greater outward order in my life, I take action. Then, as Emerson predicted, I am “without effort impelled to truth … and a perfect contentment.” I am in the flow!
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.–Psalm 46:4

Let Go Let God in Creative Expression

I am blessed with new insights and creative solutions.

I make a difference in the world by being me. I express divine love throughout my day—in the work I do, in what I write, the way I greet others, and in my caring and compassion. The ways I respond to the world around me reflect my unique way of demonstrating my Christ Nature. I nurture my spiritual unfoldment through my divine connection. I let go of any trials or tribulations, worries or concerns, and rest in a time of quiet communion. As I connect with Spirit within, I am blessed with new insights and creative solutions. I go forth to express myself as the free-flowing channel of divine love that I am. Spirit guides me to make an ever-greater difference in the world.
We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us.–Romans 12:6

Let Go Let God with Healthy Choices

I make healthy choices in all areas of my life.

Today brings many opportunities to experience life in healthy and fulfilling ways. I listen for divine guidance as I consider choices, decisions, actions, and words. I wait for the still, small voice within. As I attune to God, answers come quickly. I trust the still, small voice, for I know it comes from God. Regularly turning within in prayer, while tuning in to the divine guidance I receive, helps me to nourish and support my health. I trust my inner wisdom to guide me in what to say and do and how to live and interact with others in a healthy way. In all areas of my life, I trust that I am led toward what is best. In the Silence, I receive inspiration and in trust, I listen.
I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry, and whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.—John 6:35

Let Go Let God in Comfort

Divine energy soothes my spirit and I am at peace.

One of the joys in life is warmth at a fireside. Whether I am taking in the rich aroma of a meal cooking outdoors, or being warmed by the heat in my home, comfort emanates from the hearth. Relaxing into the warmth of home, I let go of all concern and feel blessed and at peace. In the same way, the warmth of my inner hearth is a place of sustenance and calm. Comfort fills my heart, and pain and sadness fade away. My soul moves into the quiet. I feel divine energy restoring my spirit. I am enfolded in the comforting love of God. New hope arises for a satisfying, orderly life. I am comforted, healed, and renewed in mind, body, and spirit.
Even the sparrow finds a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may lay her young, at your altars, O Lord of hosts, my King and my God.—Psalm 84:3

Let Go Let God in the Flow

I am one with the all-knowing mind of God.

I am an inlet and outlet for divine energy and ideas that flow from God. Divine Mind is seeking to fully express through me. Just as a clear spring flows forth as a rushing brook, so the mind of God pours forth into perfect expression through me. I let this rushing current find its way through me. I set aside distracting thoughts in a time of quiet reflection and become still. In the stillness, I acknowledge that the guidance I seek is also seeking me. The infinite mind of God needs outlets for expression. I am an outlet, and my role is not to force but to allow divine life to express through me. I relax into the divine flow and my mind is at peace. I am one with the all-knowing mind of God.
The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom, and whatever else you get, get insight.–Proverbs 4:7

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

Healing life renews my whole being.

I am grateful for God’s gift of perfect health. If I am feeling discouraged or impatient as I recuperate from illness, I turn within to pray. Here, I find Spirit holding the high watch for me. I start my prayer time with taking deep breaths. As I breathe, I feel the connection to my entire body. I envision each inhale bringing health and oxygen into my body, while each exhale releases anything less than perfect health. I see this healing breath moving through every part of my body. I call forth the divine pattern of health in each cell of my body. If any feelings of illness reappear as I go about my day, I return to my breath. I breathe in well-being and in exhaling, release all concerns.
O Lord my God, I cried to you for help, and you have healed me.–Psalm 30:2

Let Go Let God with Honor

I honor and thank those who serve.

I have been helped in countless ways by people who have dedicated themselves to service. Today I pause to honor them by giving thanks and remembering them in my prayers. My heart is filled with gratitude for those who answered the call to serve, protect, and care. I affirm peace and protection for those actively serving. I envision them and their loved ones encompassed by the love and comfort of Spirit. Because of their courage and commitment, my life is enriched and protected in myriad ways. I honor all those who serve today by saying, “Thank you for your service, dedication, and sacrifice.”
Pay to all what is due them—taxes to whom taxes are due, revenue to whom revenue is due, respect to whom respect is due, honor to whom honor is due.–Romans 13:7

Let Go Let God for Navigation

I am guided by God within.

Centuries ago sailors headed across the seas without the conveniences of electronics to guide them and often with incomplete or inaccurate maps. Instead they had to rely on the sun and stars to navigate. If the weather obscured their view or blew them off course, they used their own wisdom and experience to regain their direction. Just as voyagers look to the stars for guidance, I turn within to the spirit of God. In prayer my way is made clear. I remember that if I ever feel blown off course, I need only return my focus to the presence of God within. Even in the darkest of nights, I know the sun will rise again, and I will regain my bearings and sail onward.
So that they may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is no one besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other.—Isaiah 45:6

Let Go Let God with Composure

I am present, poised, and peaceful.

Gymnasts make walking on a balance beam seem simple. They do this by focusing completely on what they are doing. I give the same disciplined and loving attention to each activity in my life. When I start to lose my footing, I don’t panic. Rather, I act with equanimity. I remain calm and make small adjustments to regain my balance. This starts with realigning with the one Power in my life—God. I avoid overreacting by taking a deep breath and once again connecting with Spirit. I am then able to act and react with poise, composure, and presence. My feet remain firmly planted when I stay in constant contact with God. I am content and joyful and have peace of mind right here and now.
Of course, there is great gain in godliness combined with contentment.—1 Timothy 6:6

Let Go Let God in Triumph

I am a triumphant expression of God.

The apostle Paul told early Christians “Christ in you, is the hope of glory” -Col. 1:27. In times when I may feel fearful or lonely, I turn to Christ, my hope of glory. I may find answers in conversations with family and friends, or in literature, music, and nature. The love of God reveals itself and I return to a place of contentment. Over time, my spiritual muscles strengthen. Like a flower, I open and blossom into wholeness. God has given me many gifts, talents, and abilities. I am a triumphant expression of God.
But thanks be to God, who in Christ always leads us in triumphal procession, and through us spreads in every place the fragrance that comes from knowing him.—2 Corinthians 2:14

Let Go, Let God

As I trust God, my life aligns in perfect order.

A child flying a kite does not stand and wait for the kite to take flight. To succeed, the child must run fast and trust the wind to pick up the kite and take it into the sky. For my life to soar, I must not stand still holding tight to how I think my dreams must happen. I must move with Spirit and trust God to lift me up. If my thoughts wander and I begin to worry about a situation, I take a deep breath and center myself in the presence of God within. I let go of trying to control outcomes. I then envision the situation rising higher into the sky—becoming smaller than ever imaginable. I rest easy knowing that as I let go and let God, my life is in perfect order.
You shall eat the fruit of the labor of your hands; you shall be happy, and it shall go well with you.—Psalm 128:2

Let Go Let God in Harmony

I am in harmony with the world around me.

When I hear a beautiful symphony, I may feel awe for the skill with which the expert musicians play their instruments. Each note blends together to create grand swells and meaningful pauses. Drawing upon the musicians as inspiration, I consider how I might bring harmony into my life. When I sit in quiet prayer and meditation, I move closer to mastery of my own inner life. As I do this, I see how to respond to the world with more harmony and grace. I envision myself moving in cooperation with the people around me, just as the musicians do, creating beautiful harmony. If I notice discord, I sit in prayer knowing clarity of resolution will arise.
May the God of steadfastness and encouragement grant you to live in harmony with one another, in accordance with Christ Jesus.—Romans 15:5

Let Go Let God with Positivity

I start the day with positivity.

Robert Frost said he started the day by making his bed and while doing so, he would make up his mind as to what kind of day he was going to have. During my morning routine, I take time to delight in the joys showing up as a result of my positive attitude. While washing my face, I let go of anxious thoughts, allowing the water to wash them away. As I eat breakfast, I reflect on the nourishment I take in and how I can nourish others with my thoughts, words, and deeds. Getting dressed, I clothe myself in affirmations such as: I am an inspiring presence of peace and kindness. By the time I engage in the day’s activity, I have set a tone of positivity that permeates my being and experiences.
You make the gateways of the morning and the evening shout for joy.—Psalm 65:8

Let Go Let God Be Free

My trust in God gives me true freedom.

At times I may feel constrained by my doubts and fears. Yet I can move away from mistaken beliefs in lack and limitation. I can do so by turning my attention from false negative beliefs and instead turn toward the light and understanding of God. Doing so aligns my thoughts with spiritual awareness. God’s presence helps me to step out of that state of doubt. This connection with the Divine moves me forward in faith. My mind is focused, my heart is at peace, and my spirit now soars. I am free of seeming limitations. I am free of fear. Confidence is mine as I embrace the spiritual freedom that God provides.
Where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. And all of us ... seeing the glory of the Lord ... are being transformed into the same image from one degree of glory to another.—2 Corinthians 3:17-18

Let Go Let God in World Peace

I live in harmony and envision a world at peace.

John Lennon, who saw with the eyes of an artist, wrote, “Imagine all the people, living life in peace.” I share this vision for a nonviolent world. I tap in to my spiritual powers of will and imagination and prayers pour forth from my heart. I am doing my part in painting a “master-peace.” I see human diversity as a bright tapestry created by God. Regardless of my national, ethnic, family, or gender identity, I am a member of the human race. I belong to the One family, the family of God. I align myself with divine will to bring my vision for peace into manifestation. I build bridges instead of walls and choose compassion instead of blame. All I do, say, and believe are part of the master-peace I create for the world.
You shall love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater.—Mark 12:31

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I am comforted as I pray for others.

I have been infinitely blessed by the people in my life. When I make my gratitude list, I think about family, friends, coworkers, and acquaintances who have influenced me. My heart is full and open. As my memories shift to those who have made their transition from this life, I take an extra pause. I turn inward and say a prayer of thanksgiving for their lives, which blessed me and everyone around them. Emotions may overwhelm me when I pray for loved ones who have passed. I miss their presence in my life. When this occurs, I move deeper into prayer. I seek solace and comfort in the ever-abiding presence of God. In the stillness of prayer I know that just as God cares for me, my loved ones, too, are in God’s constant care.

When I remember you in my prayers, I always thank my God.—Philemon 1:4

Let Go Let God in Oneness

I am one with all that is.

Gazing into a pool of water, I see my reflection. I smile back at myself, viewing the uniqueness of my face. I dip my hands into the cool water. As the droplets filter through my fingers, I am in awe with how connected I am to my surroundings. I am much more than my reflection. I am one with God and with all of creation. The majesty of divine creation is evident in my surroundings as well. God created me to be strong. Sadness, illness, and worry have no place in my life. Relying on my divine powers of wisdom, understanding, and love, I align myself with the good in every situation. I am one with all that is, and I am at peace.
For in the one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and we were all made to drink of one Spirit.—1 Corinthians 12:13
