I am in the flow of divine power.
The
philosopher Ralph Waldo Emerson once wrote about placing oneself “in
the middle of the stream of power and wisdom.” As I turn to God within, I
see divine order at work in my life. Cooperating with the divine flow, I
am strong and wise. I do not create this stream of power—I simply
participate in it, with a thankful heart. At the beginning of my
day, I establish order by focusing on an empowering spiritual truth.
When I speak to others, I am positive and helpful. As I discover ideas
to create greater outward order in my life, I take action. Then, as
Emerson predicted, I am “without effort impelled to truth … and a
perfect contentment.” I am in the flow!
There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God, the holy habitation of the Most High.–Psalm 46:4
