With faith, I first believe, then I see.
Some
say seeing is believing—but my spiritual self first believes, then
sees. Faith does not require that I know all the steps to take before I
begin my journey. I pray with faith, then open my mind and heart to
guidance. When children write letters to Santa Claus, they hope
their wishes will come true. My belief is greater even than that of a
child. With grown-up faith, I turn within and listen. The answers I
receive may be chance encounters, unexpected opportunities, or exciting
new ideas. My faith is confirmed every day. I follow through on my
guidance. As I am led, I act; I put feet under my prayers. First I
believe, then I see.
Jesus said to him, “Go; your faith has made you well.” Immediately he regained his sight and followed him on the way.—Mark 10:52
