I hold a vision for peace in the
world.
God is universal peace, the
unconditional love that binds all humanity. Even in seemingly hopeless
situations, God is there. God is the way, the hope, and the foundation for
unity and oneness of all life. Faith in God allows us to see
goodness revealed even in the midst of conflict or strife. Prayer helps to
quicken the harmonizing power of Spirit within all. Wisdom leads us to build
community, demonstrate love, and support the rights of all people to live in
peace and well-being. Empowered by God within, we act
on the opportunities before us to express and embody God’s peace through our
thoughts, words, and actions.
Pursue peace with everyone, and
the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.—Hebrews 12:14
