Let Go Let God as Life

I am the radiant life of God.

A popular hymn begins, “I am the radiant life of God.” These words are an affirmation that the spiritual life of God within continually renews and invigorates me. Acknowledging this, I tune in to a higher vibration. God is life and this life is born in me anew this Christmas season. The life of God expresses in all that I think, say, and do. I align with the divine energy of God through prayer. This connection allows the vitality of God to permeate my being. In these prayerful moments I remember that I am filled with the radiant life of God. As I join with the world in celebrating the birth of the Christ child, I feel deeply grateful for the gift of life. My prayer for the world this Christmas season is radiant life for all.
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life.”—John 14:6

Let Go Let God through Comfort

I am comforted and at peace through the loving presence of God.

The need for comfort is a basic necessity. From the moment we are born, we are comforted by a loved one’s voice or touch. As we grow older, that need may be met in other ways, but the underlying need is the same—we want to know that we are not alone; that there is a person or a presence loving us and helping us in our time of need. God is that presence in my life, my loving Comforter that brings strength and peace. In moments of fear or sadness, faith assures me that I am never alone. I realize that there are ups and downs that I will always face in life, but I do not face them alone. God is with me in every circumstance. This knowledge provides me with courage to face a new day. My mind and heart are comforted.
The Lord lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.—Numbers 6:26

Let Go Let God Provide Healing

My mind and body are whole, well, and strong.

When I am in optimal health, my body works like a well-oiled machine, with smooth efficiency. I fuel my body by eating nutritious foods and keep it in good shape by exercising on a regular basis. Walking or running, sitting or standing, I am aware of my body’s miraculous ability to adjust to what I am doing. But I am more than just my physical body. A healthy mind is equally important to my overall well-being. I exercise my mind and keep it active by participating in lively conversations, learning new things, and through prayer. I open my heart to God, and give thanks for a healthy mind, body, and spirit. God heals what needs to be healed, tuning me up for greater blessings ahead.
To set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.—Romans 8:6

Let Go Let God Love

God loves through me.

Love is many things to many people, but God’s love is all. I am God’s beloved child, and through my Creator I find happiness and contentment. I now share that love with others. I am God’s love in expression. I act from a place of faith, knowing that my actions will be a blessing to others. A smile, a kind word, a hug—all are ways I can give love to others. I can also share comfort simply by being there, by letting someone know that I am here for them when they need me. Just as I welcome the knowledge that I am loved, I extend the concept into the world by being loving. I carefully choose the right words and actions to let them know that I care. God loves me and loves through me.
O give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever.—1 Chronicles 16:34

Let Go, Let God

I open my mind and allow God’s good to pour into my life.

The technique of visualization, creating a positive mental picture of something, reminds me that God-life within is actively at work in my life. When I need to release something in my life, I visualize my hand holding an object then gently releasing it. As it falls away, my hand is left empty and open to receive something else. Worn-out views clutter my mind and prevent new and healthy ideas from shaping my life’s experiences. Are there limiting thoughts getting in my way? If so, I let them go. I release the need to worry. By releasing those things that no longer serve me, I make space to receive the amazing good that God has for me.
Ask, and it will be given you; search, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened for you.—Matthew 7:7

Let Go Let God with Divine Order

In sync with divine order, I realize my greatest potential.

There is a spiritual law and order that governs all life. Nothing and no one can break this law. When acting out of alignment with divine order, I might struggle with minimal success to accomplish even the smallest of goals. Yet when I consciously align my will and actions with the natural, orderly outworking of the Universe, I tap into a fountainhead of limitless imaginative and creative power. Spirit, which by nature is expressive, enfuses me with a rich supply of divine ideas uniquely suited to my soul. As I willingly surrender to the flow of Spirit, I experience synchronous events as an everyday occurrence. I realize my greatest dreams with absolute peace, grace, and ease. My life is in sync with divine order.
Great peace have those who love your law; nothing can make them stumble.—Psalm 119:165

Let Go Let God Pray for Others

I follow the Golden Rule and pray for others.

Spiritual leaders encourage the practice of praying for others. They are aware of how the power of prayer can unite people in love and create a positive flow of energy that permeates the planet. Jesus taught the concept of the Golden Rule, blessing all who came to him and encouraging them to give love in return. I, too, follow that practice in my everyday life. I say a prayer of gratitude for family and friends and all that they have done for me. I hold a thought of health and wholeness for those in need. I envision abundance and wisdom for people everywhere. My prayers for others create a flow of love, abundance, peace, and gratitude that spreads from person to person. I am love in action.
Do to others as you would have them do to you.—Luke 6:31
