Let Go Let God in Giving

I Give Generously from my Heart.

For many, this is a season of shopping for perfect gifts. The heartfelt desire to give also brings challenges of choosing what to give, finding it, and allocating time and money for shopping. I take this opportunity to examine my true reasons for giving. Am I giving from my heart in celebration and love because I truly want to give? If so, I pray for discernment as I weigh whether it’s better to buy a gift, give something freshly made in my kitchen, or devote time to someone who will treasure my presence more than any kind of present. As a cheerful giver, I follow the generosity I feel in my heart, seeking no reward from others beyond the joy of giving.

Every generous act of giving, with every perfect gift, is from above, coming down from the Father of lights.—James 1:17

Let Go Let God Celebrate

Today and Everyday I Celebrate Life!

I celebrate my life today! I wake up, look out the window, and behold a marvelous new day. How will I celebrate this day? I begin with gratitude for the gift of my life. I am blessed with people who care for me, with a creative mind that is open to new ideas, and with a physical body that serves me in so many wondrous ways. I celebrate all life today. I declare this day to be one of the best ever! I look for and discover evidence of good and evidence of God in all I see. The beauty of nature astonishes me. I am filled with even greater joy and faith as I see the love, courage, strength, and willingness shared by others. Today is a day to enjoy and cherish for its immense richness.

A glad heart makes a cheerful countenance … a cheerful heart has a continual feast.—Proverbs 15:13, 15

Let Go Let God in Peace

Embodying the Peace of God, I Create a Peaceful World.

“Silent night, holy night! All is calm, all is bright.” I know peace as I hear the first words of the beloved Christmas carol. The peace I feel wells up from the depths of my being, from a place of silence filled only with awareness of God. The peace of God refreshes and restores me each time I visit this inner sanctuary, replacing anything unlike itself. My consciousness remains calm and bright as I return to the many activities of the day. As I embody peace, stress and tension transform into productive energy. Peace shows me there are possibilities for good in every situation and every relationship. Thoughts of peace, words of peace, and peaceful actions fill my day. I embody peace to help create a peaceful world.

Those of steadfast mind you keep in peace—in peace because they trust in you.—Isaiah 26:3

Let Go Let God Wonder

Life is a Wonder to Behold.

Matthew 18:3 tells us we will never enter the kingdom of heaven unless we become like children, cautioning those who have lost their sense of wonder to embrace it once again. Children see all things through new eyes. Free from pretense, they share their love openly and enthusiastically, innately understanding that the gift of being alive is a miracle to be cherished. When I choose to see life through that lens, the kingdom of heaven is where I live, and everything changes. My relationships take on new vibrancy. From the smallest grain of sand to the most majestic mountain, the world is made of innumerable miracles. Each day, I take time to see life through the wonder of a child.

“Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven.”—Matthew 18:3

Let Go Let God in Prosperity

I am Always Receiving God's Abundance.

Truly there is no limit to the prosperity of Spirit. My prosperity is not limited to money; it comes in all forms. I may have an abundance of loving support from friends and family or the surroundings where I live might be replete with beautiful scenery. I will spend part of today thinking about the many ways I am blessed. Sometimes I am so busy that I don’t pay attention to all the gifts in my life. I am truly grateful for the prosperity that surrounds me. I know the divine presence within me is the source of all good. Abundant blessings of all kinds will continue to manifest in my life. I give thanks for all the limitless forms of prosperity that are coming my way.

For their sake he remembered his covenant, and showed compassion according to the abundance of his steadfast love.—Psalm 106:45

Let Go Let God as Protection

I am Safe and Secure in the Protective Love of God.

Among the most basic human needs are to feel safe and loved, and to belong. Meeting these needs lays a foundation for greater self-esteem and personal growth. I think about the times and places in my life where I feel safe and cared for—my home, my church, moments spent in nature and with loved ones—and the warmth and contentment they bring me. Peace fills my heart, for I know that I am never alone and am always enfolded in the protective love of God. I feel blessed that my needs are met, and I give thanks that I am safe and secure. I see my loved ones enfolded in divine love during the holidays as we celebrate time spent together at mealtimes and in fellowship with each other.

Incline your ear to my sayings … for they are life to those who find them, and healing to all their flesh.—Proverbs 4:20, 22

Let Go Let God through Healing

I Accept the Healing that is Mine.

I understand that I am a spiritual being who is living a human experience. When I begin to internalize and fully live this truth, I discover that in Spirit I am whole and well in body and mind. However, in my present consciousness I may be experiencing illness in the form of a health challenge or perhaps as the result of a past trauma or past relationships. I see this moment as a divine opportunity to transform, to heal, to grow, and to learn from challenges I am facing. I know that as a spiritual being I am perfect but not yet perfected; I am whole yet still healing. I accept this opportunity as a gift from God, a way for me to accelerate my spiritual growth. With gratitude, I continue my healing journey.

He said to him, “Do you want to be made well?”—John 5:6
