God guides me on my unique path.
When
I start something new I remember I am a channel for the work of God. I
do not fix my gaze on a faraway goal and wonder how I will get there.
Instead, I confidently take the first step then open my mind to
guidance. At times I may stumble or think I have taken a wrong turn,
then Spirit reveals the value of my crooked path. I discover ways
to do good wherever I am. Just as a great distance is covered in many
small steps, a great work is the culmination of many small acts of
kindness, compassion, and generosity. I take each step, no matter how
small it seems, assured that God guides me on my unique path to doing
good.
For
we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works,
which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.—Ephesians 2:10
