Let Go Let God in Wonder

I am unique, beautiful, and wonderfully made.

 

When I look into the eyes of a child, I see wonder, excitement, and a questioning spirit. Everything a child sees is remarkable and unique. I try to see my own world through this lens of newness. The sound of laughter, the glisten of frost or dew in the morning sunlight, the people I meet … all are reminders of the creative power of the universe. I, too, am a wonder. I am unique, beautiful, and wonderfully made. I look around and see beauty in everyone and everything I encounter. I am grateful for the ability to recognize the uniqueness of the world in which I live. Each day opens to new experiences, thoughts, and wonders.

I praise you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Wonderful are your works; that I know very well.—Psalm 139:14

Let Go Let God Provide Guidance

I open my mind to the light of my being and answers are revealed.

 

When there are life-changing decisions to make, I keep my mind open to divine guidance. I am not alone in any time of decision-making. There is the light within me that shines the wisdom of God on right choices. This light is mine each time I open my mind to the all-knowingness of God. I may wonder how I can keep centered and calm when there are so many last-minute items on my to-do list. I begin by changing my focus from worry to divine guidance and feel immediate relief. My mind is clear of clutter, and I’m ready to follow where I am guided, which in truth was always available to me. The wisdom of God is my guide, each day, each step of the way.

But anyone united to the Lord becomes one spirit with him.—1 Corinthians 6:17

Let Go Let God Celebrate

I give thanks for the Christ within and for infinite good unfolding in my life.

 

December is a celebratory month! We commemorate the birth of Jesus, retelling the story of a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths being honored by the Three Wise Men, shepherds, and angels. We celebrate the Truth that Jesus taught: We are children of God, divine in nature. On an individual level, I celebrate the birth of Jesus and the Christ within me. I celebrate the divine qualities of light, life, love, and faith. I am thankful that my inner light—the Christ—guides me at all times. I gratefully acknowledge the perfect life of Spirit that flows through my body, energizing and renewing me. I rejoice in the spirit of love that flows to me and from me to bless others. I keep faith in my heart, continually inviting good into my life.

My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.—Luke 1:46-47

Let Go Let God with Inner Peace

The peace of Christ is reborn in my heart.

 

Amazingly, one small incident has the potential to throw my stress level into a tailspin. Perhaps I am late for an appointment and unable to find my car keys. Frantic searching and the rush of adrenaline causes my stress level to go higher. At such a time as this, I take a deep breath and turn my search within. Steady breaths and a focus on God-life within help me to restore my calm. In mind and spirit, I am sheltered in the depths of my soul where the peace of Christ abides. I am reborn to the peace of Christ and a calmness washes over me. I have chosen to have a heartfelt, peaceful connection to the Christ of my being. I can and do remain calm and serene. The peace of Christ is reborn in my heart.

You are in the Spirit, since the Spirit of God dwells in you.—Romans 8:9

Let Go Let God in Commitment

I devote my time and energy to those things that serve my highest good.

 

Every day there are many opportunities for me to direct my time, attention, and energy. When I am mindful about the commitments that I make, I am better able to honor those commitments joyfully. I give myself permission to take time before making decisions, and I allow myself to say “no.” I deserve balance in my life for it ensures I will be able to give my best to myself and others. When I devote my time and energy to the things that serve my highest good, I am able to honor the commitments that I make. If I have to make a difficult choice and say “no” to something, I trust that God will fill the void. As I take care of myself, I allow the highest good to unfold—not only for myself but for all others.

Commit your work to the Lord, and your plans will be established.—Proverbs 16:3

Let Go Let God with Purpose

I live today with purpose.

 

As I begin my day, I use the creative power of my thoughts and words to affirm my purpose. Yes, I have tasks and responsibilities that I have to do, but when I become clear about why I am doing these things, I connect with my purpose. Charles Fillmore once wrote, “There is within man that which will open and place him in direct contact with universal knowledge and enable him instantly and continuously to draw forth anything he may wish to know.” If I am unclear about my intentions or purpose, I remember that I can cocreate with Spirit by choosing how I respond and interact with life. I choose thoughts, words, and actions that reflect my intention. I live with purpose.

The human mind may devise many plans, but it is the purpose of the Lord that will be established.—Proverbs 19:21

Let Go Let God in Divine Appointment

I give thanks for the divine appointments I experience and the people I meet.

 

Every person I encounter, every event I am a part of, has a distinct purpose in my life. I may not be aware of it immediately, but I can be sure that the reason will be revealed to me at the right time. What may seem like a chance encounter today may change my life in some way at a later date. Perhaps I am the other person’s divine appointment? I may have smiled or said hello at the exact time they needed to see a friendly face. I could be politely holding the door open for someone whose hands are full at just the moment they are about to drop and break what they are carrying. I am open and ready for all of my divinely directed appointments.

Steadfast love and faithfulness will meet; righteousness and peace will kiss each other.—Psalm 85:10
