I am blessed as I care for others, and they care for me.
Perhaps
the most difficult job anyone can undertake is that of a caregiver. It
is a full-time commitment that requires tremendous energy, confidence,
and inner strength. Although challenging at times, caregiving is
rewarding. Spending quality time with a loved one while sharing moments
and memories is priceless. I give thanks for the caregivers I have
known—parents, friends, teachers—and the roles they have played in my
life. I give thanks as well for the opportunities I have had to care for
others. Caregiving is an opportunity to share my love and skills
in compassionate and caring ways. By giving of myself in this way, I
receive unlimited joys and blessings.
You have granted me life and steadfast love, and your care has preserved my spirit.—Job 10:12
