Let Go Let God Breathe

Breathing Deeply Restores Me.

I am amazed by how much my breathing affects my feelings. If I am anxious, my breath becomes more rapid, but when I am relaxed, my breathing becomes more steady and rhythmic, calming me. If I am feeling too revved up, I still myself by taking deep, slow breaths. I may visualize myself breathing in peace and calm and see any concerns dissipating with my exhalations. Mindful breathing benefits my body with life-sustaining oxygen and blesses my mind with clarity. My breathing is also my gateway to increased spiritual awareness, its gentle rhythm leading me to a place of tranquility. In this space where time has no beginning and no end, I touch the fullness of my divinity and know that in Spirit all is truly well.

Let everything that breathes praise the Lord! Praise the Lord!—Psalm 150:6

Let Go Let God Know

Deepening In Self-Awareness Helps Me Know God.

As I have progressed along my path of spiritual self-discovery, my growing understanding of myself has deepened my relationship with God. At one time, God felt far from me as a power and presence outside myself. As I have grown in spiritual understanding, I have come to know God as the one presence and power within and all around me, a comfort and help in times of need and a source of joy in times of happiness. I refresh myself in the quiet presence of God. There is nothing for me to do other than to feel and know. I greet the day with energy and confidence knowing God as the light in my mind, the life in my soul, and the love in my heart.

Beloved, we are God's children now; what we will be has not yet been revealed. What we do know is this: when he is revealed, we will be like him, for we will see him as he is.—1 John 3:2

Let Go Let God Discover Joy

I Discover Joy As I Live From My Divinity.

During a moment of darkness or uncertainty, I may lose touch with my joy. Today I remember the joy of the Lord is my strength. Even if my attention is on external concerns, events beyond my control, or a past I cannot change, I remain grateful for the spiritual tools to turn from darkness to light. I meditate, concentrating on my breath. My breath reminds me of the activity of God because God is life, flowing through me, right now. I am a joyous child of the Divine. In joy, I welcome new ideas, fulfill my creative nature, and am healed, prospered, and blessed. My outlook and attitude are cheerful and positive because the light, love, comfort, and grace of God are always mine.

When the cares of my heart are many, your consolations cheer my soul.—Psalm 94:19

Let Go Let God Send A Friend Blessing

I Am Grateful For You, Dear Friend.

Friends are precious—people I count on and people who can count on me. They are a family in and of themselves. I feel so blessed to be a member of my family of friends. I wrap the loving energy of friendship around me like a blanket of warmth and security. In this sacred space of appreciation, I bless my friends and our unique relationships. I bless you. I give thanks that you are always there to listen to me, to cheer me when I feel low, and to celebrate the good times. The little things you do mean as much to me as what you have done when times were hard. Thank you for always being there for me. Thank you for being you. I feel our oneness, the thread of love that always connects us, no matter where we are or what is happening in our lives.

A friend loves at all times, and kinsfolk are born to share adversity.—Proverbs 17:17

Let Go Let God Release

I Move Forward Refreshed As I Release What I No Longer Need.

A cluttered space may feel restrictive, even disorienting. I may feel overwhelmed by the accumulation, unable to easily access what I need. The same is true for my mind when I hold on to old ways of thinking, beliefs I’ve outgrown, and resentments caused by past hurts. This can cause unrest in my thoughts and leave my heart feeling troubled. When I clear out the physical clutter I feel lighter, relaxed, and calm. I resolve to do the same with my mind. In prayer, I discern where I choose to place my faith and let outworn beliefs go. I untangle the knots in my heart through forgiveness and release my past hurts. Mindful release sets me free, clears my mind, and blesses my heart with deep, abiding peace.

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.—Proverbs 4:23

Let Go Let God Know Inner Peace

I Think Peace, I Feel Peace, I Am Peace.

Peace lives in my heart. At the place within me where all appearances of separation dissolve, I feel only peace, only God, only oneness. This peace is always mine, part of my divine inheritance. I carry it with me through every experience, every moment of the day. Nothing can destroy or even disturb my peace when I invite the divine presence, the Christ of my being, to be my constant guide. A passing thought of fear, worry, or anger is a reminder to breathe, to release negative energy, to embrace peace. I feel renewed when I meditate, enjoy a walk in a peaceful garden, or take a moment to appreciate natural beauty wherever I find it. My indwelling peace manifests all around me as beauty, harmony, and bliss.

May the Lord give strength to his people! May the Lord bless his people with peace!—Psalm 29:11

Let Go Let God Be Gentle

I Am A Gentle Spirit And A Blessing To the World.

Jesus was a beautiful example of a gentle spirit. He embraced all people with the same respect and love, regardless of their station in life. He saw each person as a child of God, worthy of loving care. I, too, am worthy of this loving care. There are times when I may not be as gentle with myself as I could be. I may be too self-critical or too quick to focus on my faults. It is important to be gentle with myself, peaceful in my mind and tender in my heart. I value my uniqueness. After all, there is no one else like me, no one who fills my particular place in the world. I am gentle with myself when I honor my truth as a spiritual being and express the goodness and grace of God as only I can.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me; for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.—Matthew 11:29
